Simply the Best

We met the team from Collars n Cuffs at a wedding expo at Harry's Savoy Grill, but you do not truly meet the team until you meet Len. Len is a larger than life personality, who instantly makes you feel at home and comfortable. Going to talk to him is worth the trip into the store alone, but the man also has an eye for what is going to work for you and your groomsmen. He helped guide us to the perfect tuxedos, and measured so that everything fit perfectly when it came in. I have been in the wedding business for almost twenty years, and I wish I had met Len sooner. I will be recommending him to all of my future clients. If you are within an hour’s drive of their store in Wilmington, they are a must on your list.

Perfect Fit

My husband picked Collar's n Cuffs to do his groomsmen and his tuxes because of their down to earth and professional services. Len and Scott were so great throughout the planning process. Len saw our vision and made it happen. All of the groomsmen were so impressed that he came to our house for a tux fitting party so they wouldn't miss the big football playoff game. But then he even picked up all of the tuxes directly from us after the wedding so the guys didn't have to worry about returning them! It was so easy and convenient and at an affordable price. We felt very connected with them and definitely not just another customer at some of the larger corporate stores. Thank you Collars n' Cuffs for helping with our big day!

They did a good job and they were less expensive than the others

I thought I got a better quality suit, more personalized service and a better price than a big chain store. Overall, had a very good experience.

Fitting party is a must!

Was very unique having one of the Collars n' Cuffs team members come to my house for a fitting party. Was a great way for the whole bridal party to get together and have some fun. Would recommend a fitting party.

Can’t say enough positive things about Collars n Cuffs

We recently used Collars N Cuffs for our September wedding. Lenny went above and beyond to make my vision for our tux’s a reality. He was able to give excellent advice on styling that would fit our theme. We had a fabulous tux party with all of the guys and when the time came we had to make some sizing changes and Lenny made it happen on time! All in all a top knotch establishment and would use them again in a minute.

Collars and Cuffs compares to no one else in the suit business! Our bridal party LOVED the fitting party that Collars and Cuffs solemnly does...not only was it a great way to make a decision, but it was so cool to get the groomsmen and bridesmaids acquainted before our big day. Len was fantastic! Such a nice guy to work with and always pleasant with his responses. The options we chose were perfect and delivered timely! We chose to have a fitting party, which was a lot of fun for the whole party and family. We also chose the option to drop off the tuxes a few days later rather than the very next day which was a huge help. All in all, I would recommend Len and the shop for any wedding in the area. He had a ton of options and also had a lot of styling advice. My husband absolutely loved his tux as it was one of the new ones at the time and Len was very good at working on pricing since we had seen him at a Bridal Show!

Collars N Cuffs and the whole crew there are great! Len sat down with my then fiance and I and helped pick the perfect tux based on our tastes and styles. Normally the women get all the parties but with Collars N Cuffs they came to our house while we threw a party to help with the fitting and then closed the shop down for my groomsmen and I at the final fitting. Everything was relaxed and super flexible to our needs. Len and the guys were a lot of help and a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to pick the right shop for their tuxes!

Collars and Cuffs were phenomenal and provided exceptional service to my husband and his groomsmen for our wedding. We had a destination wedding so it was crucial that the tux arrived on time. Len was very helpful in making sure the look and fit was just right for my husband. The thing that stuck out the most was Len making sure we were able to get a tux for a new groomsmen because one of our groomsmen could no longer be in our wedding. It was last minute and we (mainly me, lol), was freaking out. The guys at Collars and Cuffs made sure we got the tux in time to leave for our wedding. They truly saved the day. If you are looking for a tux/suit for your wedding, I definitely recommend this place.

Outstanding customer service! Len was simply wonderful! He was so friendly and easy to work with. The location is a bit inconvenient, being right in downtown Wilmington. However they offer in-home tux fitting parties and hotel pick up for after the wedding. My groomsmen could not say enough about how fun Len was to work with and he made everything easy. Once you have your first meeting with Len, you will not be disappointed!! The personalized service cannot be beat! My guys looked awesome!

From the first phone call to the day I dropped off my tux Len was a huge help. He sat with my wife, fiance at the time, and I and went over all the different styles of tuxes that we could choose. We had numerous options, and he went over which ones would be good for the season, my body type and the body types of my groomsmen, the color ranges that were possible, etc. He asked for swatches of colors from the bridesmaids dresses and a small color palette to really help define the colors I and my groomsmen would be wearing. He was super professional, but also a lot of fun to work with, we felt like family. He, and the other gentlemen at Collars n Cuffs, made the whole experience one I will remember forever. I've recommended these guys to all my friends and colleagues, and I would recommend them to you as well. They go above and beyond what many places do, my wife even informed me a few days after the wedding that she wished she had got such personable service when she was looking for her wedding dress.

Len made everything so simple and easy for us. He even brought the items to our home for a trail, super convenient! He also scheduled a pick up so we did not have to worry about returning after the wedding I mean this company truly went above and beyond. We used to Collars n Cuffs to dress all the men in our wedding party: groom, groomsmen, usher, ring bearer and the father of the bride. Len handles all the wedding details and he was AMAZING!!!! He made the process run smoothly getting everyone's measurements regardless if they were local or out of town like my dad. We did have a slight issue a couple days before the wedding where some of the items were missing from the tuxedo packages. Len was on it and made sure all of the items were accounted for and that we had them in time for the wedding. I would totally recommend Len as he was the #1 choice recommended to us as well.

I used Collars n Cuffs for my wedding on July 18th, 2015. Len goes above and beyond to make sure the tuxedos look perfect. The tux fitting party went great and we all enjoyed his professionalism as we were fitted. He worked with us to make last minute adjustments and made sure we had our tuxedos ready in time for my wedding day. He was flexible and worked around all of our schedules. The quality of the tuxedos was excellent and looked great in our pictures. I received several compliments on the way our tuxedos looked. My bridal party and I could not have been happier with the way our tuxedos looked the day of my wedding.

Len made the experience wonderful. I live in Philadelphia and to be perfectly honest, I did not want to have my groomsmen (10+ father of the bride & myself) have to drive to Wilmington for a fitting, then the pick-up and finally, the drop off. Len made it VERY easy and instructed us to simply have a "fitting party." We invited the guys over my house and he came, with different tuxes, shoes, shirts, etc. After the wedding, he even made it easier and told us to leave the tuxedos with the hotel and he picked them up himself....to save us time.

My husband and I originally went in to get a Tux only for him. After talking to Len, we realized that if we wanted amazing wedding pictures, we needed to get everyone in a Tux. This turned out to be the absolute best decision we made! Everyone was SHARP! My wonderful Husband (Ty) stumbled upon Collars n Cuffs walking down Market Street in Wilmington. Ty had expressed to me that he liked the professionalism and the customer service he received upon entering Collars n Cuffs. I trusted his opinion -to an extent. My husband had to look better than he has ever looked, so I went to check out the place myself. I went with Ty to his first fitting. I met Len and he was very personable and accommodating to our needs, and he dresses REALLY well!!! I knew he was in good hands. Len picked a few styles out and had Ty try them on. By the end of the consultation Len had a couple styles that were flattering on Ty. He had assured me that Ty along with the Best Man, 2 Groomsmen, 2 Ushers and my Father would look phenomenal the day of my wedding. Len gave great advice on what would look the best and most complimentary to me and my bridesmaids. He was also able to provide great information on etiquette when it came to wedding traditions.

Overall, Len played a big part in making our wedding look classic and timeless. Not only did he meet our every need but he went above and beyond. I threw a Tux fitting party for the guys. The whole bridal party (guys and girls) came to my house and Len showed up and fitted all the men in the Bridal Party. It was SO helpful!!! I knew everyone got fitted! I knew the colors matched my bridesmaids! -since I had a bridesmaids dress on hand. I knew that they were going to look AWESOME..... and they did!!

Honestly, Till this day people cannot not stop talking about how GREAT Ty looked that day. - thought it was about the Bride. But he did look good. REAL GOOD!!

We LOVED Collars N Cuffs. We ended up going there very last minute and Len put our worries at ease.

He's very honest about what he thinks would look best (listen to him!). He also does a great job of reminding the groom that its his big day too! He truly wants the groom to look just as perfect as the bride does. Nobody wants a sloppy looking groom standing next to them! You can tell how much he cares about what he does.

When weddings can so easily become all about the bride, Len really does give the groom a moment to shine too and I know my husband really appreciated that.

Mr. Brown and Collars 'n Cuffs were incredible to work with! From being open to our ideas to suggestions expert opinions of his own, Len Brown helped to provide us with a great tuxedo shopping experience. The Tux Party that Mr. Brown helped us to host was a fabulous experience! He brought sample tuxedos, vests, and ties that the groom, groomsmen and father of groom were able to chose from. It was so enjoyable to make all of these decisions with no pressure and in a relaxing atmosphere. Mr. Brown was also very accommodating To out of town orders, making my dad and grandfathers tux orders very simple! Overall the guys looked incredible and Mr. Brown was an amazing asset in helping to make the most important guys in our life look so great! We cannot recommend Collars n cuffs enough! From the minute we met Len Brown from Collars' n Cuffs at a local bridal show we knew he was our tux man! He has an out going and fun personality while being truly professional! Len Brown made our special day GREAT!! He hosted a fitting party for all of my husbands friends to get fitted and even showed up the day of the wedding and helped them get dressed. All of then groomsmen looked great and I've never seen my husband look any better. His personality and professionalism is what sets him above all of the rest. Len Brown was very amicable and very helpful. He made sure that all my groomsmen were fitted correctly and adjustments were made in a very timely manner! The guys looked great!

I would suggest that the brides go in with their groom, as a woman's touch is always needed. I made sure I saw what the last fitting looked like in case I wanted him to do a little adjusting...pants hemmed etc. And they can do alterations on site and very quickly!

One of the best services they offered was a tux fitting party where they will come to your house and fit all your groomsmen/wedding party members at one time. It's a quick easy way to ensure everyone gets this done, such a stress savor! The week of the wedding the final tux fitting they are great at changing out items that need to be altered and very helpful overall to ensure the men look their best! It was a pleasure working with Len and his staff on our bridal party's tuxes for our wedding! During our consultation, Len made it evident that he was truly interested in what we wanted. He was also completely honest about the tux styles and colors that would look best with our entire bridal party. We chose to have the in-home tux fitting party, which was fantastic. We had a handful of men fitted and Len was extremely patient and diligent throughout the entire process. Len will always ensure that you have everything you need before your deadline - the mother of our ring bearer waited until 5 days before our wedding to send in his measurements and we were still able to pick up the tux on time! Len and his staff are amazing and I would highly recommend their services for any formal event!

Len was great. He did a tux fitting party at my house for myself, groomsman and parents. There was. I additional charges either. He was awesome. Highly recommend him to anyone with a wedding.

My husband and I found Collars n Cuffs based on all the great reviews and we booked them for our wedding in Philadelphia. We live in Philly and our wedding was in Old City. It was really difficult trying to find a good tuxedo rental shop in the Philly area and even though we were out of town, Len made the process so easy for us and our groomsmen, dads, and ring bearer. We had a tux fitting party at our place in Philly and Len actually came all the way there to take measurements. A couple of the guys live out of town and had to send their measurements in, which wasn't a problem at all. When the tuxedos came in, some modifications had to be made (which will happen at any tuxedo place) and Len went above and beyond to make sure everything fit perfectly. On top of all that, Len picked up all the tuxedos from the hotel where we were staying the day after the wedding. The whole process was stress-free which was totally worth it. I definitely recommend them!!!

My wedding was on Oct. 11, 2014. I contacted Len Brown at Collars and Cuff about a month prior to my wedding. I had heard about them through a good friend of mine and let me tell you...this was one of the best decisions that I made for my wedding. The first thing that was really awesome was that I had a fitting party for myself and my groomsmen. Len came to my house, had a few drinks, and we all got fitted. It was a great time! He was a very personable guy and made sure that everything was perfect. When we went for our final fitting, he shut down his store and myself and my groomsmen went down there to try on our tuxes and bring them home. It was everything that I could have wished for! Everyone looked amazing and the tuxes were perfect! The day after the wedding, Len came and picked up our tuxes so we did not have to drive down to the store and drop them off. It was one less thing to worry about. I would recommend Len and his team at Collars and Cuffs to anyone looking for tuxes! It was the best experience I have ever had! He is ten times better than any other tuxedo rental place that I have dealt with in the past. I looked really sharp and everyone else did too! Everyone was coming up to us and saying how amazing we looked! I would like to thank Len and everyone who helped out with my wedding! They made it a really special day for my wife and I!!!

Len Brown was most helpful during our wedding process and keeping us in the loop as to what was going on with the groomsmen getting their measurements in since all of the groomsmen were out of state, he also gave us ideas and suggestions as to the look we were going for which made us breathe easier since we had no idea how much goes into choosing a tux/suit for a wedding and he wanted both of our input so that I and my now husband could have our vision come together with harmony. I would use Collars 'N' Cuffs again if the occasion arises.

Well I want to start by saying, as the bride, Collar's N Cuffs was my number # 1 pick. I first met them at Harry's Savoy... Great presentation and very knowledgeable. I checked and called other companies and no one else compared. I started the process for the groom, groomsman and my father to make sure the style matched the rest of the wedding party. Lenny made the process fast and easy. This was a pleasant surprise because finding dresses for the wedding ceremony was an experience. Lol! I just want to Thank you Scott and Lenny. We will be back for many more events...

As the groom, I must say that working with Collars N Cuffs was a very pleasurable experience. Lenny and Scott were great to work with. Planning a wedding can be a very stressful and they helped to make it as smooth as possible. Although there was a snag, Lenny and Scott bent over backwards to make it right! What more could you ask for? The tuxedos looked great! As my new, beautiful, wife said: We will be back for many more events, and I'll recommend them to anyone that I know is planning an event.

Len and the guys did a great job for our wedding. We chose to do a fitting party at our house to get all the guys together. Len came out and brought everything he needed, got all the guys sized up and ready to go. Tux's looked great could not have been happier.

Len and Scott bent over backwards to handle our international groomsmen. We had measurements that were off the mark, but they were able to handle all the changes and made sure the men looked amazing. They even came through at the last minute when our ring bearer and his father forgot their wedding clothes!

Len helped my husband and I decide on the perfect tuxes for our wedding! Everyone in the bridal party was from out of town so we held a tux-fitting party and he came to our house to show everyone the options and take their measurements. We had 7 groomsman and both of our dads getting fitted and they were accommodating for our large party. We had a couple questions about timing of items arriving, etc. and Len was very helpful to make sure we had what we needed in the end.

Most brides tend to have everything planned out when it comes to the way they want their wedding. I was no exception to that trend.

I looked through catalogs, decided on a color and style and I was ready to hit the stores. The first store we went to, we didn’t receive much help. They didn’t seem to care and weren’t really concerned whether they received our business for that matter. Needless to say I wasn’t happy.

My neighbor suggested Collars N Cuffs. She told me that this was where they would go to get her sons all decked out for homecoming, prom, etc. She told me to ask for Len. Her sons always looked great; so I thought, what do I have I lose?

It was the best decision I could have ever made! As soon as we walk in someone acknowledged us and were ready to help.

Meeting Len was great! He was very personable which made the process very relaxed and stress free for me. I told him what I would like to see the guys in and he pulled samples, made suggestions and always kept us in formed on what was going on. So needless to say by the time everything was said and done, the guys looked sharp and I was very pleased.

So when you go to Collars N Cuffs, you become a team. Everyone is working together to reach the same goal. So trust and believe you will not be disappointed. They helped make our wedding a great memory!

We couldn't have been more happy with our experience at Collars n Cuffs. We really had no idea what we were looking for, but Len walked us through the process and provided us with great and appropriate attire for our venue. He was very flexible with his time and was willing to stay after hours to fit our schedule. He was able to accommodate an out of town groomsman who decided to measure himself (inaccurately). Len's recommendations were spot on, he basically picked out the tuxes for us, and we had tons of compliments at our wedding.

The professional service provided was untouchable. The in home fitting was out of this world. I had everybody meet at my house and collars and cuffs showed up and one by one everybody in my wedding party was fitted and no need to worry about returning the tuxes after the wedding cause all you have to do is provide a address and they will pick them up. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Collars n Cuffs does an incredible job with weddings especially Len Brown! I was originally going with a large national chain until a friend mentioned Len Brown to me. You simply can't beat his services and attention to detail. When I say attention to detail I mean every single detail. He offers to come to you which you won't find with national chains. I had him come out to my house on a Saturday afternoon. It made it very easy for all the guys and we made a party out of it with the game on and food. Len sets up shop and measures everyone right there from the jacket to the shoes. He also brings a number of jackets with him to view and use during measurements which makes for the perfect fit. When the wedding approached our tuxedos arrived at the shop days in advance so there were never any last minute issues. Len is all about the details so even if something wasn't pressed perfectly he'd reorder and have it to you still with days to spare before the big event. All of the guys were fitted perfectly and many compliments were received. On top of an overall great experience if your wedding is local he can even arrange to pick up your tuxedos the day after the wedding. When comparing Collars n Cuffs and Len's services to a national chain there is no comparison. This is the old time, way it should be, attention to detail, service you should expect. I've already gone back once and plan to do so anytime I need a tux. Joe

Len at collars n Cuff is the best. He accommodated all of my groomsmen that traveled from out of town. Len knows how to properly dress the men so that they look great in the photo shoots. If you want a nice tuxedo and you want to look great in it. Collars n Cuff is the place to go to.

We recently used Collars’n Cuffs for the groomsmen in our wedding and had an excellent experience. They provided a wide variety of selections to choose from, which we found to be more diverse and superior in quality to other mass market tuxedo rental offerings. In addition, they provided excellent customer service, working with us to find a customized look that matched exactly what we were looking for. Scott was phenomenal to work with and has a great eye and attention to detail for pulling together the perfect look (including shoes, pocket square, vest, etc.). Also, since the groomsmen were from various cities, they handled getting all of their measurements and making sure everyone was fitted perfectly for the wedding. They came to our house to fit all of the groomsmen, which was a huge help because the drive to their store was a bit of a distance for most of the guys. It made things easier on us! The suits were great quality & a great fit, better then any of the big name tux places out there that have commercials. They were a little pricey, at least the suits we chose, but there are options.

Len and Scott were wonderful! Our guys looked great and Len was amazing at getting the look together to make sure my groom and groomsmen looked wonderful! My groomsmen had to travel so it was difficult for us to get them all together, but Len made sure he called everyone and got their measurements and their tuxes for our wedding. I definitely recommend Collars n Cuffs for your groom and other special men in the wedding's attire! Len was so awesome! He met with us 3 different times and was so patient as I was a picky bride! He really knew what was traditional, classic, but with a modern twist (which was what I wanted). I explained my vision and he helped bring it to life. There are so many cool features to using Collars n Cuffs for your wedding! After you choose your tuxedos, choose a date and Len will come to your house and host a fitting party! It is a great way for the groomsmen to all get together and hangout while they are fitted. The girls do so many events along the way for a wedding, it was nice for all of the boys to have something to do together. The guys had so much fun! Then, the week of the wedding, all the guys go to the store and try on their tuxedos to make sure everything is there and that it fits- also another excuse for all the guys to get together! Another neat feature is that the day after the wedding, you choose a pick-up spot and Collars n Cuffs will come and pick up the tuxedos! No need for the boys to go to the store again! My groom looked so handsome and the groomsmen as well. Len even made sure that my Dad and father-in-law had tuxedos to accompany their bodies and look great too. Len Brown was very nice, helpful, and professional. He mixed my husband and his grooms mens tuxs very well. Everything fitted great and looked wonderful. The service was so good we recommeneded him to my husbands father for his upcoming wedding.

We rented all of our guys tuxes from Collars N' Cuffs. Len is the most wonderful person to deal with in the world. He was so professional, and answered all of my questions. I dont understand why people even go to the men's warehouse and places like that. They dont care about your order. Collars n Cuffs CARED about my wedding. Only regret is that I didn't meet these guys earlier on in the wedding planning process. Len was very knowledgeable about all facets of wedding planning and gave me connections for limos, cakes, and lighting. The tuxes were excellent quality and they matched up our colors perfectly. We also had fun with the bridal party when we had the tuxedo fitting party at our home. Len was even able to contact my dad in Florida and get his measurements so his tux was ready when he flew in for the wedding. All of the personal touches made our day complete. highly recommend.

Thanks to Len and his staff at Collars 'n Cuffs, my groomsmen and I looked excellent for my wedding this past September. Len is a great person to have on your "wedding team" of vendors. He will tell you how it is, straight up, no fluff - which is what you really want when someone is dressing you. Also, the fitting party and tuxedo pick up services made my life so much easier. Finally, I had some groomsmen coming from other states, so it was impossible for them to try on their tuxedo until one day before the wedding. A few adjustments were necessary to get the perfect fit and Collars 'n Cuffs was able to do this on the spot. All in all, it was a pleasure working with Len and I would recommend his services.

We used Collars n Cuffs for tuxedos for our wedding party and fathers. We received good service and value and the tuxedos looked great. I found that Len will take as much time as you need to make sure everything is perfect for your big day. My wife and I also found it helpful to bring a notebook and keep track of the styles we liked since it was a few months in between visits.

Collars and Cuffs was a great tux shop. Good prices and Len worked easily around my and my groomsmen's schedules. It wasn't easy with 10 guys. We all looked great and they picked the tuxes up at the hotel for an added bonus.

My now husband won a gift certificate for Collars N Cuffs. The guys at the company were great to work with. A few times there was a mix up, but overall great service

Beautiful tuxes, friendly customer service!

I loved the tuxes our bridal party wore. There were a couple hiccups but Len was quick to fix! The only complaint I would have is two of the guys didn’t have the pocket squares they were supposed to have but no one noticed. Other than that they were great and picked up the tuxes from the hotel we stayed at the next day!

My son was married in Jamaica on April 9, 2018 but didn't meet with Len until a month before the wedding. Even with the short time frame Len was able to get him and his groomsmen measured, suits ordered and delivered all on time for the big day!

So my review is very mixed. Let me start with the positives ... We rented for a wedding and my guys looked amazing!!! They had a great selection of suits. Way more stylish than the normal mens warehouse stuff. The price was right around what you expect to pay for a wedding. Like $200 or so. I can't remember exactly.

Now the negative. The day before the wedding my sister in law went to pick up suits for her 4 boys that were in the wedding. 3 were perfect, the other 1 had incorrect sizing. The top and bottom sizes had been ordered incorrectly even though it was written correctly on the sizing form. His top was too small and the bottom too big. Their solution was for her to come back on the day of the wedding to pick up the correct size. Lets put this in perspective ... she has 4 boys in the wedding, she herself is in the wedding (hair, makeup, etc, to be done), she was from out of town, and it was their fault. Not to mention they assured us that people often pick up the day before and its absolutely fine. When asked about having someone deliver a new suit they said they didn't have anyone to deliver. How about find someone! The wedding was about 15 min away. Long story short, he didn't get a new suit until right before the wedding. One of my friends was gracious enough to get it taken care of. However, the poor child had to take first look pictures in the ill fitting suit. He was old enough to know he didn't look as good as his brothers so it was pretty hard to get him to smile. There were other times during the ordering process when things seemed a little unorganized.

In the end it everything worked out but the moral of the story is ... proceed with caution if you won't be able to get your suit until the day before the wedding. All good if you are nearby and can stop in a week early to get your stuff and make sure it's right.

Len is a good guy and like other reviews, he will go above and beyond to help you and make sure you look great. The other employees that work with him are what took away from our experience with Len. They are unprofessional and will interrupt your appointment with Len to give him a phone call or to answer a question from another customer. It was frustrating that every appointment we had with him, he would get interrupted and sidetracked. When calling to ask a question the employees would be unprofessional over the phone and in the end I would just email Len. The services they offer are great though. We weren't able to do the tux fitting party but we did use their tux pickup service. This was so convenient and nice to not have to worry about getting all the tuxes back to their shop.

First Negative Review I've Ever Submitted: Worst Experience for Wedding Day

To summarize: Please, for you and your significant other’s sanity, go somewhere else. This is the first negative review I have ever written, but the experience in itself was the worst of EVERYTHING and of EVERY vendor/company we've worked with. I’d like to help you avoid what we encountered. Details are below. But if you are looking for a pleasant experience – you will not find it here. Literally go anywhere else. Details are below for those that need a bit of additional insight.

I went with my now husband to meet with Len to order our wedding day tuxes for him, groomsmen (7) and fathers (3). We chose this company because we wanted to support small local businesses.

We sit down in the back with Len and the journey begins – 9 months before our wedding. We had no idea how the process works, what our options were, how to make selections, timeline expectations, etc. We tried to get a general idea of all what to expect. So of course, we politely asked those questions. Every word that Len said was condescending, filled with attitude – as if he was disgusted that we were asking anything at all. He rushed us through the process by showing us a catalog and then assuming 2 minutes was enough to have picked what we needed. He asked us for the same details of the wedding multiple times because he was half paying attention - everything is written down by hand which ultimately leads to a lot of incorrect information. (He once addressed an email to my husband and I with a completely random woman’s name that wasn’t mine, even though our email addresses contain our full names and we’ve signed them at the bottom of our communication many times). Whenever my husband would ask a reasonable question, Len would look at me and ask, "Is he always like this?". And persisted to tell my husband to "just stop" and "you're overthinking it" multiple times. The one time he showed any sort of eagerness was when he essentially cornered us into placing a down payment for the tuxes right then and there before we left. It was presented as if we had no option and were paying for his time for the consult.

After we left this initial meeting, we were so caught off guard, so disappointed that it was nothing but negativity and bullying, that we both had tears of frustration. And I mean literal tears. I cried because my husband deserved a memorable, exciting, and fun experience. Something he would be able to reflect on for years ahead of the moment we planned the most important day of our lives. Even a mediocre experience would have been great compared to the one we had. We were not even able to discuss anything or have a peaceful moment between us in the store without strange or negative comments from Len. It was just a total disaster. I have never felt so much frustration and disappointment from anyone let alone someone we were trying to work with and order from for our wedding day.
After a few days we still couldn't make sense of the encounter. Were we just being oversensitive or reading the situation wrong? (Spoiler Alert: no, we were not). But at that time, we chalked it up to Len just having a bad day and gave him the benefit of the doubt. Next, the fitting party. I think this is a great idea and perfect opportunity to get the bridal party together. Len was like a totally different person. He was approachable, conversational, looked like he was precise in taking measurements and made sure to leave with a few slices of pizza. So here we are thinking we just caught Len on an off day on the initial meeting.

We then go in to try on the 3 different tuxes my husband chose as options for himself and the groomsmen. He tried on the one we had selected for the groomsman, and he could barely fit his arms into it and was extremely tight around the back and sides. We asked why this was the case and he said, "well it's Michael Kors so you're going to have the really slim fit", as if this was a fact we should have known. My husband is petite, the smallest of all the guys so we knew that slim fit would not accommodate the fit needed for all our groomsmen who are much larger. When we explained this, I said, "would it make sense just to size everyone up, to be cautious, since it's slim fit?" and he quickly said that it wasn't a good idea because it would make everyone look sloppy. Fine, that totally makes sense, and we definitely don’t want that for our big day. So, to us, our only option was to pick a different brand for a regular/normal fit. When we asked to order other options to try, Len met us with complete hysteria. Telling my husband that he is worrying too much about it and to just settle with what we have and hope for the best. Again stating “you’re overthinking it”. Keep in mind many of our groomsmen are flying in the day before the wedding - allowing no time for big fitting adjustments if needed. (We’ve since heard that Len’s measurements are unreliable a majority of the time). So that's why we're trying so hard to make it as simple as possible regarding the fit. He continued to push back because he didn't feel like placing another order. Then says, “fine let’s just size up”. We then reminded him of his comment that it would look sloppy which is what we’re trying to avoid. So, we again asked to order other sample fits. He literally raised his voice to saying it’s not necessary and didn’t want to without offering an explanation for why this was such an issue when it's a totally common task to do because that is his actual job. It felt like he just wanted our "project" to be done, checked off his list, and to not have to deal with it. He had no intention of doing this simple task. After an additional phone call to ask this request again politely, we provided the exact product numbers to order so Len didn't have to lift a finger. "Fine, I'll place the order, but you can only choose two others to try. Three is too many (which did not make sense since that's what our initial experience included)". But, we of course let Len be Len, and settled on asking for two products to try instead.

When we go to try them on, one is a completely wrong color and size. It was clearly the wrong product altogether - somehow. So now we are just stuck with trying the one other option. To avoid having to speak to or deal with Len any further, to avoid hearing his condescension, lack of accountability, and lack of desire to fulfil any of his job requirements, we picked the one and only option he was able to correctly provide.

Honestly, we regretted ever going here. We even considered taking a loss on the down payment and just opting out altogether. But it was a lot of money to essentially “waste”. We would have preferred to go to Men's Warehouse (MWH). And, in actuality, we did go there to try on colors and different fits, because Len wouldn't order them for us to try. The MWH on RT 202 is incredible and truly helpful. They were polite. Helped us with selections even as they knew we weren't giving them any business since we were locked in with Len. The wonderful salesman there said all of the questions we had was essential information that should have been explained to us, especially since we've never gotten married before and gone through this process.
In the end, with Len at Collars N Cuffs, every single one of our groomsmen and fathers had to order different sizes in either the shirt, jacket, or pants after their try-on visit right before the wedding. One person was given the wrong shoes. All the groomsmen were given the wrong pocket square color. Everyone had to make alterations last minute which made everything a bit more stressful the day before the wedding. Now, please. Keep in mind. Everyone else that we and our bridal party spoke with there seemed to be very helpful. And the actual tuxes looked great. But the entire experience was not worth what we had to endure.

Awful customer service - ill fitting suits.

My husband rented suits for himself and his groomsmen for our wedding in May. He had the worst experience working with Len. Len was inappropriate, the suits were old fashioned, and the process was convoluted.

My husband wanted to handle the suit rentals because I was dealing with the bulk of the planning. He reached out to Len and met with him to discuss looks. When my husband went to make final decisions, Len required him to bring me along. I know nothing about suits so it was entirely pointless for me to be there. Len then handed me a bridal magazine as a way to appease me. He also kept forgetting conversations with my husband and then accused my husband of confusing his “white guys” in the shop. His personality is quite jarring - every time we would tell him what we wanted he would talk over us and instead share information that wasn’t helpful.

My husband paid for the at home measuring for suits. Len showed up without any of the notes from previous conversations with my husband so they basically had to start from scratch. Each time my husband would meet with him he’d have to go over the order again with Len. And there were still errors in the final pick up.

The suits were completely old fashioned and not the best fit for the groomsmen or the fathers. My father’s suit was incredibly ill suited and he takes such care in his appearance. I know it upset him to have to walk me down the aisle in such a bad suit. My father noted that their product was dated. Would suggest anyone to shop around instead. The only positive is that my husband’s suit was free because his groomsmen rented from the shop.

Not respectable

We spoke with 3 different people who quoted us differrent prices. We eventually were provided a price which was not honored when it came time to pay. They refused to provide us with the $20 they promised if we returned it by Monday, which we did. Money hungry.

Our experience with Collars N' Cuffs and Len was a disaster.

Several times, Len “misunderstood” our order, including: not ordering vest samples after our first meeting; ordering tie samples instead of vest samples; omitting an entire groomsman from our order; and suggesting to drop off vest samples at a local bar then no-showing the meeting. Most importantly, from 1/31, Len promised tuxes by 5/22. Tuxes arrived on 5/26, with 5 of the 7 tuxes damaged or mis-sized. That’s over 70% of the entire order. Corrected tuxes were delivered on 5/28, 2 days before the wedding.

We worked with 2 photographers; 1 videographer; 1 caterer; 1 florist; 1 church; and 1 DJ. Len was the only time we had an issue. He sold us on his trust & confidence, and showed that he wasn't trustworthy nor could we be confident in him. He was confused & unorganized, and at times insinuated that the couple, family or groomsmen were the problem, which was insulting. When confronted about his performance, he insisted that he worked with us every step of the way, which was laughable at best.

The one thing he did deliver on was excuse he promised would not be a problem: "It's Prom season" or "Your wedding is the week after Memorial Day." Trust us, we knew when our wedding was taking place. At our first meeting, we were sold on our tuxes being in on 5/22, in spite of our concerns with proms and holidays. Len assured us of this. And the second they were going to be late, he leaned on those very excuses that he said would be a non-issue.

On the day that we finished up, the owner, Scott, apologized to me & explained their side of things. He even made a few jokes & jabs about Len’s job performance, so we’re obviously not crazy nor could we possibly be the couple from hell. But in spite of apologies and a free pocket square, we simply cannot recommend Collars N Cuffs.

I normally do not write reviews like this online, but in this case I felt that I had to. I recently got married in August and our whole experience with Collar n Cuffs was absolutely horrible. I only went with them because they were at our food tasting at our reception venue but I really wish I didn't. First off Len Brown, our consultant was very unprofessional and rude. He was also very pushy. When myself, fiancé and his family walked in to get fitted, he gave us about a 30 minute sales talk of why they were "so good" at what they do. We really just wanted to get fitted and we were already there to do that, but he still felt the need to give us this sales pitch. Way too much talking from him. When I started to look a little agitated he starts telling me "relax, relax" in a rude tone. Then, when my father in law was getting fitted, he was extremely pushy and "telling" us what to do not suggesting or recommending. As if this all wasn't bad enough, when the tuxes actually came in, my father in laws pants did not fit, and my brother in laws jacket and shirt was too tight. We were so unpleased with this service, that he wounded up just getting his own shirt to wear instead of dealing with them any further. After the wedding, my father in law went back the next day to drop off the tuxes and he told Len about them not fitting properly, and he did not even get an apology. He just peeked his head out from his little office in the back and did not even show any concern or any attempt to apologize. Due to all of this, my father went and got his tux separately from Men's Warehouse where he had NO issues and was in and out in no time, and looked just as great as the bridal party. In any event, I would not recommend this place to anyone and if you do go there, be prepared for a long winded sales talk and a pushy consultant.
