We just got married here, and the experience was amazing. I truly had my dream wedding. The process of planning the wedding was the easiest. I cannot recommend this venue more. Worth it in every way possible. Everyone is so amazing to work with!!

I just have to give a huge shoutout to Mighty Hacker Recovery for coming through in the clutch for me! We could not recommend a better venue. Being an all inclusive, the process of wedding planning was effortless for us. Their vendor meeting are such an amazing idea and so fun! We honestly picked this place bc it was all included and the outside had some many different things for guests to enjoy! It was a rainy day but it was amazing!!! Everything went so smooth! Loved everything about this day and the tree house. Would not have picked another place!

Jeff and Susan have the most BEAUTIFUL wedding venue in all of GA. After finding Cold Creek Creek, we fell in love with the venue, but mostly we loved Jeff and Susan. They are the sweetest couple and make you feel like family. Although they host many weddings a year. It did not feel like we were just another wedding. It truly felt like we were the only wedding that they had all year. They had our wedding perfect right down the very detail. They made sure to accommodate every request and even allowed us to postpone our ceremony to be able to avoid the rain to still have our outdoor wedding.

Wedding planning was tough for us working full time, not living close by and doing the planning on our own. Jeff and Susan ensured that we had an easy way of choosing our vendors by hosting a vendor meeting about every 3 months where you had the opportunity to talk with, see, and sample their work right there at the wedding venue. Talk about killing 10 birds with one stone!

Choosing Cold Creek as your wedding venue is a no brainer! This will be the best decision about your wedding that you can make! We love you Jeff an Susan!

I am confused how you could rate this wedding venue anything other than 5.0 across the board. Our wedding in February was absolutely flawless. I could not have dreamed a more beautiful or perfectly executed day. There is not one thing I would change. From the time we toured the venue, Jeff and Susan did everything they could to make our wedding experience easy and amazing. You cannot beat the convenience of the wedding package being all inclusive. They let us tweak the package to eliminate some of the things that we didn’t need and replace them with things that were important to us. No other venues we spoke with accommodated us this way. Also, they made my moody winter wedding dream a complete reality. The decorations were flawless and so personally crafted to our style. I cannot say enough great things about our wedding and highly recommend booking your wedding at Cold Creek Farm... you will not regret it!

We actually came across Cold Creek Farm through an AD on facebook. We had a list of venues to tour but Cold Creek was definitely at the top of our list. Other venues we good, but Cold Creek was everything we were looking for in a wedding venue and more. Their all-inclusive packages are truly all-inclusive and at a price we couldn't beat. I'm a true believer in "you get what you pay for" and Cold Creek far exceeded that. Cold Creek made wedding planning so easy and so seamless. Our Coordinator - Lauren - was on top of everything and we couldn't have asked for a better day-of coordinator, she was amazing! Carla was always so quick to answer any questions I had and was always so helpful. Jeff and Susan opened up their home to us (as they do to all their guests) and allowed us to have a perfect fairy tale wedding. Carla was always so quick to answer any questions I had and was always so helpful.

We had our wedding at Cold Creek this past weekend. We had the most amazing experience! Everything was perfect and we would not have changed a single thing!
Jeff and Susan, the owners, were there the day of the event to ensure everything went smoothly. They both came upstairs to spend time with me moments before walking down the aisle. They talked to me and eased my jitters.
I would highly recommend Cold Creek as a wedding venue; you get amazing, stress-free service and quality for a great price!

Cold Creek Farm was just beautiful. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. They were incredibly accommodating and responsive to questions, ideas, and needs. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone. Two things to note that would be helpful to know ahead of time if you are going to use them. The first is that they put out a tip jar for the bartenders. If you would prefer to negotiate a gratuity for the bar and take care of it yourself, you need to do it ahead of time with your wedding co-ordinator (ours was
Jessica Bencomo and we LOVE her). We did not want a tip jar out as most of our guests would not have had appropriate cash on them in formal attire, and we didn't want our guests, who had mostly traveled and already spent a lot to be there, to be burdened by further expense, but because we weren't aware of it ahead of time, there was a lot of miscommunication as to how to deal with it. The second was that in the summer it was very hot in the venue. There is an AC option, but to use it all barn windows/doors must be closed. We wanted the open feel, so we opted for no AC, but it was very hot. Overall, we had an amazing experience, start to finish, with CCF. It was truly a beautiful, special spot, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special wedding. Oh, also, it POURED about 30 minutes before the ceremony was going to start. EVERYTHING had to be moved inside (chairs, flowers, etc.) Immediately when the rain stopped, their staff was outside re-setting, drying chairs, making it as if the rain never happened. It was amazing, and we were very grateful to them.

If you don't get married here, you're missing out! My husband and I are both in graduate school and clinicals 65+ hours per week, so planning a wedding through all the madness was really intimidating to us. Then, we found Cold Creek. They told us that they offer a variety of vendors that we can sample and select through routine vendor meetings. We went to two vendor meetings, met with all the vendors, and easily decided who would be great for our wedding. We also chose our decorations, etc. all through CCF. And that was it - our wedding was planned! They completely took the stress off our shoulders, but we still felt the excitement of planning our wedding. We scheduled our wedding during our two week summer break from school, so our wedding was just a few days after our final exams. Needless to say, as the wedding approached, I was overwhelmed. I spoke with Carla and Jeff several times and they were extremely patient with me, as I was forgetting to email them back, and wasn't exactly putting much effort into answering their questions. The day before the wedding, I went by and dropped off the decorations I wanted included in the wedding but didn't have time to stay and speak with them about where I wanted everything, etc. On my wedding day, I was stressed. I felt like everything would just be thrown together and it wouldn't look the way I wanted because I just didn't have the time or energy to put into it - I was literally in tears, but when I walked into the barn to find Kaye, the decorator, she was working like an amazing little wedding elf. EVERYTHING was where I wanted it! I didn't even give her any real instructions, but it was beautiful. Then I was crying for that reason! I couldn't believe it and I still don't know how she did it. I instantly relaxed, and was able to enjoy our day. Our guests are still raving about the wedding. It was the best day of my life and I wish I could do it over and over again! I can't recommend them enough. WORTH EVERY PENNY!

An absolutely beautiful wedding, this venue has it all! They help with everything the whole way through. They make planning easy, and answer any and all questions almost immediately no matter the time of day or night. They had a back up plan for inclemate weather, a special location for an optional bar, a ceremony space that is truly exceptional, decor for different themes and styles, a room for the groom, and a room for the bride to get ready! If you don't like something, they will change it, and they will surprise you with exactly what you need! They have all the contacts, and they have everything you need, along with an beauty of a wedding venue! ~ The Whites ~

I absolutely loved Cold Creek Farm. Jeff and Susan are so sweet and accommodating. From the moment we walked in to tour the venue they were committed to helping us realize our vision for our perfect wedding. We booked the venue a year and a half before the wedding and in that time, the venue transformed so much -- by the time we had our wedding on October 8, they had built a brand new arbor, stairs for the bride to walk down, and even created a new doorway for guests to go in and out with ease. They were already talking landscaping changes during our rehearsal -- I just know they are going to keep improving.

They took care of EVERYTHING -- all I had to do was drop off whatever custom decor we wanted (for us, it was basically chalkboard signs, some special items for a grandparents' tribute table, and stuff to set up the Photo Booth) and they did ALL the decorating and taking down. I loved that they allowed us to customize the all-inclusive package without penalizing us. We were able to have our own officiant, our own band and skip the DJ. All of the vendors they included in their package were AMAZING. Gail of Dawsonville Florist did a wonderful job, Christina Kelley was the coolest photographer (speaking AS a very picky photographer) and Sara of Cakehouse on Main did something magical with our cakes and cupcakes.

Be aware that you must book *well in advance* for fall weddings (we booked ours April 2015 for an October 2016 wedding and they were already booked for 2 Saturdays in October). The other thing to know is that you will need to have everything cleared out and all cars picked up the morning after the wedding, which was challenging for us.

All in all, it was the best deal we could find for a Georgia mountain wedding in autumn – but it didn't feel cheap in the very least. There were no hidden charges and they are very flexible with your time table to pay them (aside from the 30-day deadline, which is reasonable). Would absolutely recommend! <3

Cold Creek Farms was a joy to work with. I wasn't nearly as on top of things as I could or should have been, but they were flexible and really worked with me to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. From answering hundreds of emails and phone calls where Susan, Jeff, Caitlyn, and Carla counseled me and my mom on all sorts of wedding decisions to Caitlyn fixing my dress seconds before I walked down the aisle, and everything else in between, Cold Creek makes sure you have the experience that you want. Also, the all inclusive package was really great for me; I didn't want to manage countless details for centerpieces and other miscellaneous decor, so it was a relief to be able to leave that to them. They have curated a list of excellent vendors who are very talented and extremely professional, so let them do their thing. I can promise you that you will be happy with the results!

The venue is absolutely beautiful and Jeff, Susan and their entire team were so easy to work with. I highly recommend them! I told someone this morning that you know that you picked the right venue when every person there has changed their profile pic to be one from the wedding!

The people at Cold Creek Farm allowed me to have my dream wedding. though the price is steep at first glance, everything you get is what you're paying for. i did the all inclusive package and all i had to do was make decisions and show up on the wedding day with my dress, groom and license. We had a fairly big wedding and they accommodated us well. They went above and beyond what i could have expected. They even brought me a snack while i was having my dress bustled so i would have had a chance to eat. if i had to do it all over again, i would go back to Cold Creek. it was amazing.

Cold Creek Farm was a dream come true. Our wedding day was perfect!! The owners, Jeff and Susan, are incredible and so personable! They made the planning process a breeze! They were super helpful and understanding of our needs and were very willing to work with us. As a bride on a budget and not knowing a lot about planning a wedding I was extremely thankful to have found Cold Creek Farm. The vendors recommended in the packages were all excellent! The venues atmosphere makes for a great southern wedding and is very spacious. The farm looked so beautiful the day of the wedding and the friendly farm animals were a hit for the guests! Thanks to the awesome owners and staff our wedding day was beyond perfect and Cold Creek Farm will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Thus Wedding Venue is amazing! There venue itself is simply stunning and can be 'dressed up or down' depending upon how formal you would like your event. Susan and Jeff, then owners, we're fantastic to work with. Everytime I had a question they answered every email and phone call without me feeling like I was bothering them. They day of them wedding Susan kept me up to date on how things were being set up...even sent me text messages with pictures to make sure I was happy with everything! When u arrived at their venue, I didn't have to do anything...everything was set up to perfection and just how I saw all my wedding day visions. The price...that was another great thing about this venue. You truly can't beat it...everything is included if you get them package. But this venue gives you many choices to pick your vendors or bring in your own things and move details and prices around. I called around to about 20 other venues and I couldn't find one even close in comparison with Cold Creek Farm. If you are considering thus venue, stop thinking and just book! You will not regret the decision. :)

Beautiful rustic venue for our evening wedding in the fall. The staff took care of most anything we asked of them. I would recommend them to anyone!

Cold creek Farm is an outstanding venue! Susan , Jeff, the entire staff are genuinely kind & hospitable! They will do whatever it takes to make your wedding day perfect! The vendors I chose (from Cold Creek Farm's list) were also outstanding! Our photographer Chrisina Kelley did an amazing job & went out of her way to find a Volkswagen Beetle for us to use as a photo prop! We had looked & looked unsuccessfully & she made it happen! Sweet treats by Leigh made our delicious cake & decorated it perfectly to make it unique to us! Spin Sisters DJ were fun and full of energy! They did a great job with the music & getting guests out on the dance floor! I wasn't exactly sure which flowers to use & Dawsonville florist did a perfect job on the bouquets and flowers! They were absolutely beautiful! Cold Creek Farm incorporated a couple unique items I brought into the decorations & I was so overwhelmingly happy! I cried when I walked in and saw what a beautiful job they had done! They nailed it, it was perfect!! Our caterer was a local BBQ restaurant and we were very happy with the food! I have received many compliments from my guests on Big D's BBQ! Cold Creek Farm offers a package deal that fit our needs. It was very reasonable and it covers so much! It really took a lot of worry and work off of my shoulders! The only service I did not use was the officiant because my father is a minister and I wanted him to officiate. Susan & Jeff refunded me the cost that was included in the package for the officiant! That I did not expect! The grounds & barn are stunningly beautiful & they have games and swings for kids! All of my guests from 2yo to 80 yo had a wonderful time! So,to sum things up- I can't say enough wonderful things about Cold Creek Farm! I could go on & on! The perfect venue for a perfect wedding day!!!!

The place was absolutely beautiful for our special day Jeff and Susan made everything stress free . The guest had a great time and thought the venue was beautiful. Everyone felt at home and comfortable which is exactly what I wanted for my day.

We had our big day at CCF earlier this year. Starting off, when we decided on the venue in late 2014 the venue was already beautiful but upon our arrival in late 2015 all of the improvements that were completed and were pending were over the top. Between the gardens, the flowers, the random decorum, or the venue itself it was all fantastic. Our dealing with the owners was a breeze, they were completely understanding and helped us with all of our needs. The day of our wedding it was slightly misty and they even opened the venue early, 1-1.5 hours before the contract time, so that our family and friends could have the cocktail hours in the barn and they could stay dry which made a huge impression to me as simple as it seems. All of there staff were awesome, we elected the DIY package, the bartenders were very professional and the off duty cop was professional and non-intrusive. They had a Sunday wedding, our was a Saturday wedding, but there was no hassling or harassing and we got our stuff cleaned up the next day and headed out.

In summation, the experience was fantastic and the venue was amazing!

I had an unexpected death in my family 3 weeks before my wedding and had to make some last minute changes. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. The owner Susan was great to work with and Jules was amazing the day of.

I loved having Cold Creek Farm as my venue. They have all inclusive packages which are a good value. I highly recommend adding on the wedding coordinator they have on staff (Amber) she amazing!!!

We fell in love with Cold Creek the first day we went and saw it! The staff is super friendly and helps execute everything for you. Carla is amazing!! She handled everything and was always available to help with anything we might need. They made setup and clean up a breeze for our families and we are so appreciative of that! They also have vendor meetings periodically and this helped us find some incredible people- photographer, caterer, photo booth, florist etc. They were lacking in the DJ and Videographer area- felt like they could've had more/better options for that. They have a great back up plan for rain/cold and can adapt to any weather situation which was a real draw for us! The space is beautiful and they are continuously making upgrades to the property so it will just keep getting better and better! My only complaints were the grooms cabin is not heated- the guys froze on the wedding day. Lastly they have a fair amount of religious symbols around the property which did not really fit our style- when asked if we could cover or take them down for our day we were told no. While I do respect the beliefs of others it does make it difficult for couples to make it fully their day. Overall we loved our wedding at Cold Creek farm and so did all of our guests! I would recommend this venue to anyone. The staff is top notch and the owners are true sweethearts- you won't regret it!

I want to start by saying that Cold Creek Farm is absolutely beautiful! The updates that they have made to the venue over the past year are just gorgeous. I had my wedding there back in March and, for the most part, I am glad that I did. I did run in to a few problems that occurred the day of the wedding. After having spent time on the phone with Amber, discussing centerpieces, the altar, & such it was a disappointment to see that neither of those things were exactly what I had picked out. At the first vendor meeting (Aug 2015) I met with Jeff, who said they were getting new altar designs in 2016 so I should hold off on choosing one until I saw the new ones at our Jan vendor meeting. In Jan I missed the area that had pictures of the altars. As my wedding date approached, I emailed Amber & Caitlyn, the venue coordinator, to discuss this. Caitlyn responded very quickly with pictures & I picked a GORGEOUS alter with windows & a beautiful wooden cross. Caitlyn said they were in the process of building the cross but that if I wanted it, it would definitely be done in time for my wedding. Well, imagine my disappointment upon seeing the altar all set up without the cross; while still beautiful, it was not what I had picked out. The centerpieces were not exactly as I had picked out either but I didn't notice those until I saw pictures later. I think my biggest issue occurred while I was waiting for our ceremony to begin. I was upstairs waiting to exit & it was sprinkling. Jeff was there with me as we watched the guys that work there diligently wipe off all of the chairs for my guests to sit on (THANK YOU! for that by the way!) & Jeff called Susan to see if we could open the bar while my guests waited. (The wedding started 45 minutes late so the cop and the bartender were already there.) Susan refused to allow this as my "bridesmaids could be seen." This, to me, was just crazy. I couldn't believe she wouldn't open the bar to give my something to do while they waited.

We were so excited to book our wedding at Cold Creek Farm after doing the tour of the venue with Jeff (the owner). everything went fine leading up to the wedding for the most part but when it came to the day of the wedding we ran into some issues. the wife of the owner was beyond rude to multiple people once arriving to the venue. the hair stylist arrived at 9:55 and they would not let her in and the wife was very rude and would not let her in because it was not 10:00 yet and she was making comments to where the stylist could hear her. she was not very welcoming at all once we were able to go in, overall very rude and short with everyone including the bride. very rude to the groom as he tried to talk to her and ask her a question and she just looked at him and kept walking without even acknowledging him. by the end of the night she was extremely rude to the mother of the bride as well, which was uncalled for after all of the money we had just gave them. numerous people complained to her husband Jeff and nothing was still done about it, no apologies from her or anything. if you are a business owner you should never talk about a customer to where they can hear you, make them not feel welcome and be rude the entire time they are at your place of business. the wedding turned out beautiful but the overall experience of the staff was under par.

I would love to give Cold Creek Farm a high rating, but because of the problems we encountered with one of the owners, I cannot. The venue is beautiful and our daughter's December, Christmas-themed wedding was gorgeous and magical. Luckily none of our guests were aware of the issues behind the scenes. Communication was definitely lacking. We booked the Farm almost a year in advance and Jeff was very informative and friendly. However, his job is solely to book events and accept money. When I began contacting vendors 5-6 months in advance to discuss wedding plans, I was told "it's too early". Apparently they don't speak with you until a month before the wedding. Having hosted three previous weddings, this was surprising. When my daughter asked (several times) to see the venue again for placement of our decor and accessories, she was told she could only come to the vendor open house. This would be very difficult with hundreds of other guests there at the same time. This was also when we were expected to discuss plans with the vendors! Basically everything is done over the phone. On the day of the wedding there were numerous issues. After the wedding when I raised these issues with Susan, she took no responsibility and offered no apology. She tried to shift the blame to us or her vendors, claiming she had nothing to do with the vendors. These are the vendors who are contracted through Cold Creek. When one is paying tens of thousands of dollars for a wedding, it is expected that things would be done correctly. If things go wrong, the venue should take responsibility. The bouquets were beautiful, but one was missing. The desserts were delicious, but the cake was not as discussed (it had been discussed 3x before the wedding, including pictures). The food was outstanding, but I was approached during the reception and asked if I had brought containers for leftovers (would a mother of the bride be expected to bring containers to the wedding?). The decorations looked great, but the centerpieces were not set up as discussed and were literally thrown into boxes at break-down following the wedding (and one item was broken). I had a detailed, itemized list on every box, which matched the list of the coordinator. It appears our photographer did a great job, as evidenced by the proofs, however
8-12 weeks is an extremely long time to wait for pictures. Our officiant, Terry, was fantastic, as was our DJ. The employees were helpful and friendly (despite the issue with the centerpieces and break-down) and our coordinator, Kaitlin, was the best (she was our second, as the first never showed up for our meeting). Their publicized "all-inclusive" rates need to be clarified. Each of the vendors has different ad-ons, which need to be reviewed prior to booking. During the few discussions we had, Susan was cold, even to the point of being rude. She was even more rude when I brought up the issues we had, rather than take responsibility or apologize. Think twice before booking this venue! You may pay a little more elsewhere, but at least you will know what you're getting!

Everything was great at first! From the moment we signed the contract, everything with them was a nightmare. They would forget conversations that they had with us, including forgetting major details we had discussed and going back on their word. We had numerous emails back and forth and we'd get entirely different stories depending on the day. We were told we could use a certain part of the venue a few weeks ahead, and on the wedding day, they went back on their word. I would not refer anyone to use this venue. My wedding day was the most incredible day of my life, but it would have been even better if I didn't have to constantly worry about what story or excuse I'd get next. It was the most stressful experience I dealt with throughout the planning process. I was not impressed AT ALL with the quality of service that we got! As a bride that's part of the wedding profession, I know the difference between the amazing quality, so-so quality, and poor quality. This was most definitely poor quality of service. I would never refer a bride to this venue as a wedding professional.
