Wedding Experience

10/10 I would recommend. Literally they worked so well with us. From start to finish. I even had to add an extra hour DAY OF (because of fault of my own) and they gave me such a fair price. So happy I chose them. Their work ethic is incredible after talking with Rene!

The Absolute Best

I knew I wanted to have Cody Films capture my special day the moment I called and spoke with Rene. He was so kind and really cared about answering all of my questions. This was the hardest vendor for me to decide but he put my mind at ease and documented all of my requests he took the time to come view our venue and was promptly on time and so extremely nice. They nailed it and I’m so excited to see our finished video.

Amazing Experience and Video

I literally almost cried watching the video of our ceremony. Amazing work, thank you so much. Although the girls were late, everything went on well and came out great.

Overall Great Experience

We had a great experience with Cody Davis Videography for our wedding. The team was extremely professional when onsite for our wedding and came fully prepared for our event. They took extra care to make sure they understood our timeline, special events, and our key areas we wanted to make sure we captured. During the even their team made sure to capture some special moments and different angles of the ceremony to ensure we captured all aspects.
They have been great to work with overall, and Cody and his team have been in touch every step of the way to ensure we love our finished product!

Videographer

We hired Cody Davis as our videographer for our wedding on December 18th, 2018. I was looking for a videographer extremely last minute (5 days before the wedding) and was grateful Cody Davis was able to accommodate us. Cody Davis is one of the only companies that we could find that would allow us to book for only 2 hours, which was amazing because we only wanted the ceremony recorded. The videographer that was sent showed up one hour early to the venue and (without asking) stayed an extra thirty minutes past contract time with no additional fees to capture certain shots. His videographer was such a pleasure to work with, extremely personable, and really made me feel like he wanted to be there. In addition, Cody Davis and his team are very responsive and easy to communicate with. The price we paid was an absolute steal for the value of video we received and the time we were given to shoot!

Wedding Videographer

We selected Cody Davis as our videographer for our wedding on 11/18/18. He arrived early to the venue, came prepared, and was very professional. Cody worked perfectly with our photographer whom we had previously booked, and together they captured our wedding day beautifully. Cody continued to work closely with us after the wedding to ensure that our video was exactly what we wanted. His turn around time was fast, and he provided us a video we will cherish for years to come. If you are looking for a professional videographer at an amazing price, we highly recommend Cody Davis!

Fall Ybarra wedding

Cody Davis photography was the best decision I made especially for my wedding! My photographer was amazing and very professional! Easy to work with, and took amazing pictures to make me remember my beautiful night! Highly recommend them for any type of event and their prices are not highly expensive as others that i had come across. Cody Davis himself was very responsive and made sure you were taken care of and would call and check up on me. Thank you for everything and providing me and my husband with amazing beautiful pictures!

Very professional

Cody was easy to work with and provided us with some great pictures. He was on time, organized and had good ideas on where to get some good shots as well as having a good eye for candid moments.

The film crew was also super nice. They picked up some really nice footage of the ceremony along with a lot of “in the moment” scenes, where we hardly even knew they were there. Very professional. The lighting and angles were also very well done.

Great experience!

So happy with our wedding photographer! The pictures were beautiful and Cody Davis was one of the few companies that we could book for less than 8 hours. They were very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Wedding in round rock

Cody davis photography was probably one of the best decisions ive made during the wedding process. We booked them about 6 months prior to the wedding and they were easy to deal with, attentive and listened to everything we had requested from them. We had a very traditional middle eastern wedding and they were on point with everything. The pictures and videos came out really beautiful and me and my wife were both happy with the results. Also from a price perspective they were extremely reasonable and well priced compared to other Austin photographers. Would definitely recommend.

Great value and easy to work with

This company was great to work with! Cody's videographer was lovely and I really felt like he was excited to be there-- it's always great when your vendors make you feel special! Cody was accommodating of some weird requests and his videographer, Thomas, was VERY easy to communicate with via text and was so helpful during the whole process. We didn't want a glamorous, cinematic video. We were just looking for some special moments to be recorded. I communicated this to Thomas and he captured my day absolutely perfectly. I'm so glad we were able to get this team on such a short notice.

I would highly recommend Cody Davis Photography and Video. We used them for our wedding video and are so glad they were there to capture all of our special moments. The videographer was very nice and personable, and the video he captured was timeless.

Cody Davis Photography was fantastic to work with. They were quick to respond to my requests and Scott the photographer was amazing. He was there early to get setup and was never in the way. In fact, we didn’t even notice him during the event which was perfect! When we asked for specific pictures during our wedding he was quick to oblige. I would definitely recommend Cody Davis Photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Cody Davis Photography and Video did the most incredible job on our wedding video. We decided to hire a videographer last minute and we were so lucky that Cody Davis was available! From the start they were not only professional, but very nice and so easy to work with. I honestly don't know what we would have done without them, and in fact, I had wedding guests coming up to me during the wedding asking who the videographer was because he was so amazing even while filming the wedding. The quality of video is perfect, and I am so happy we get to watch this video for years to come! I would absolutely recommend Cody Davis to anyone looking for a wedding photographer/videographer, and I would definitely use them again. Thank you Cody Davis!

Cody did a great job with the raw footage for our wedding videography. We weren't too picky about it, really just wanted to have some video recording of it, so we did not ask for editing. I can't comment if a wedding video with all the works is what you're looking for, but if you just want a video and audio recording of your ceremony and speeches (what we did) you really can't find someone better for the excellent price than Cody! He was also very quick with getting the video back to us after our wedding.

We hired Cody Davis as our wedding videographer in September 2015 and were so pleased with his work. Cody is professional, accommodating, easy to work with and extremely talented. Cody is a great photographer at a great price. So many wedding photographers think they can charge way too much just because it's a wedding. Cody's prices are reasonable, and he does good work. He took so many pictures at our wedding, you would never believe he was the only photographer. I'm so grateful to him for capturing so many moments I was too busy to see for myself. My sister has decided to use him for her wedding this year too! Thanks, Cody!

Cody and his team did a phenomenal job capturing our wedding day! We were extremely pleased with the professional and quality work he provides. Hello. I got Elegance photography to do my wedding video on 12/28/2013 my wedding day. Cody is awesome & a professional. I saw Cody on the knot.com & I liked his material & then we set up an appointment to meet at his house. He is professional & he gives you receipts, he calls or emails you, he is a great communicator. & I felt Comfortable with him. Cody also went to my ceremony rehersal(for an extra fee) but it was worth it. I just got my video final product last week. & once I saw the DVD, it was absolutely specatular with the intro which I absolutely loved & accompanying music was the best picked music. & the whole thing with the 2 cameras was a great investment. Definltely get a professional like Cody, it is worth it. Also Cody communicated with us via email about some edit details & that was perfect to let us know what was going on. I loved my video. Faviola :-) Super happy with my video 100%, love his work.

Working with Cody for my bridal portriats was amazing. He is very professional and knows exactly what it takes to create a beautiful picture. I had a few speed bumps come up with scheduling the session and a week before had to reschedule, he worked with me through it all and still gave me a quality of photos I excepted. I am very happy and thankful that the pictures for my special day, the ones I will keep forever came out so wonderful.

Successful Rehearsal Dinner:
We loved Cody’s work! He captured the fun and life of our rehearsal dinner. It was indoors at night, but came out very well. He filmed the same scenes with separate cameras, giving us both photography and video. We did not even think that this could be done well. We were able to download full length video previews and direct him in the editing process to get exactly what we wanted. He even did specialty work in the editing and created a custom menu background. Cody is an excellent videographer and photographer. The cost was very reasonable. We definitely recommend him!

For the price, I was concerned this photographer might not be a good one; however, his price was right. I was plesantly surprised that he is an experienced
photographer with high end equipment. He went to the wedding site which was by a waterfall at a resort and knowing the wedding was at sunset, searched for good
venues around the site that would serve as attractive backgrounds for the bride and groom. He brought two assistants and portable studio lighting equipment and
provided on site wedding portraits. We received our pictures within two weeks
and I was shocked at how good they are. I have paid a Houston professional
photographer almost $3,000 for a wedding and it took months to get the pictures
back. This man did as good if not better and the price was unbelievable. If I need
a photographer again in Texas it would he he. Thank you

Cody and his his staff did an awesome job capturing our wedding. The photographer arrived a half and hour before the festivities and was able to capture all the wonderful festivities on camera and was a pleasure to work with. Also we found his prices to be very affordable compared to other photographers, would definitely recommend.

Cody was very understanding and easy to work with. We booked pretty last minute for our wedding and he and his team came in clutch. We couldn't be happier with the footage taken. We will forever treasure our special day especially with the best moments caught on video.

Cody did both our engagement photos as well as my bridal portraits. We were fortunate enough to win the photography sessions with him through a raffle at a bridal event so they were an incredible value to us with all the costs that go into planning a wedding! The photos themselves came out amazing. He is very thoughtful and meticulous with each photograph he takes. He really works to ensure the best light composition possible to bring out his subjects' best features. All my family lives in another state so it was truly a blessing to be able to send them these beautiful photos that allowed them to feel a part of everything.

We decided at the last minute to add a videographer to our wedding ceremony and reception, luckily for us Cody was available! He used two cameras to capture the all the action and it turned out great! Overall, Cody was great with communication, prompt, and really seemed to care about making everything turn out great, which it did.

Cody provided excellent pictures from our wedding. He is very laid back and flexible but takes care of business. On the day of the wedding, Cody arrived earlier and followed the timeline we discussed and got all the pictures we had agreed to beforehand.

Cody Davis Photography & Video did an amazing job on our engagement and wedding night. The made sure to capture every moment of bliss shared on our special day. Cody was very professional, easy going, and wonderful to work with. He even danced with the groomsmen in their quarters to make everyone feel relaxed and at home. The group did such wonderful work and was super flexible when it came to moving dates and everything. Really helped capture all of our memories and made our day wonderful. Quite a pleasure to work with them! Definitely would recommend their services for anyone looking for great quality work on a budget!

I am going to start this by saying that I am not this person who leaves bad reviews, which is why this review is coming 6 months after my wedding because I have tried everything in my power to rectify this situation, however these people are extremely unprofessional. DO NOT BOOK this vendor. AFTER almost 4 months from the date of my wedding of not receiving my wedding photos or video that I paid 3,300 dollars for, we find out our photos have been LOST! Who loses photos in this day and age? Is there not a backup system? No explanation was given, it was merely… they were lost and were trying to retrieve them. AFTER 4 MONTHS! I was patient and I gave them the benefit of the doubt and this is how I was rewarded. Not to mention, waiting until the week before my wedding to even speak with someone from this company to have a consultation. There was also a “free” engagement shoot that was not put on the books until said consultation which made us have to book it after my wedding. I reached out to the company to set up my consultation and was told that someone would reach out to me a month before my wedding….a week before I had to reach out again to see what was going on. I should’ve known then we were doomed. My husband and I have tried to be cooperative and settle this without leaving this company a bad review or making it public, but frankly I am tired of being a nice person to people who have done nothing but take advantage of my kindness. Now I have no pictures from my wedding day… ZERO. I have some stills from my wedding video that they tried to pass off as pictures to not give me a refund. Now, after trying “everything” they are offering only 700 of the 3,300 dollars I paid without an itemized receipt. Word of advice, keep looking and spend your money elsewhere.
