Found what I was looking for!

I knew that I wanted a black dress, I went to the store location in LA and wasn't even going to try this one on but was encouraged to by the stylist there. Of course it was the one! I had the dress ordered and shipped to CO. Definitely a good price point for wedding dresses and they carry traditional as well as non traditional gowns in all styles. They do have the option to ship and try on which I also tried and loved! I just happened to be visiting CA and was so glad I was able to! I did have some alterations but with the price I paid for the dress it made that portion easier!

Affordable and amazing quality

I ordered a sample dress to save money, and good lord I was not disappointed! Stunning dress that looks and feels high quality. The order came surprisingly fast, which was nice; I get nervous ordering big purchases like this online. I would 100 percent recommend Cocomelody.

I felt like a princess!

My dress was everything I wanted and more! I truly looked and felt like a Disney princess! I love how fast my dress came, even though I never got to try it on before purchasing it, they got my measurements right & I was able to communicate with them with no problems. I would definitely recommend!

Found MY dress- perfect in every way!

My sister recommended this place shortly after I got engaged. I went with my mom simply to “browse” for my style. The staff was so professional and accommodating. They asked what I liked and gave me an assortment of dresses to try on.
I tried on three dresses & the third dress I just instantly knew was the one. It was perfect in every way for me & could not be happier. I can’t believe I picked out my dress three years ago. My husband and I got married this past weekend and I still knew, after all this time, when I put it on again, it was MY dress!

5/5 STARS!! Cocomelody provided an intimate shopping experience where I felt comfortable trying on wedding dresses for the first time. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the dresses are top-notch. The thing that I'm most pleased with is that the dresses are budget friendly without LOOKING like budget dresses. The "WOW" factor is definitely present.

ALBERT assisted me and is AMAZING. I highly recommend you ask for him by name. He was very attentive and has experience in alterations, so he understood not only how garments are supposed to compliment your body, but also made helpful recommendations. I am pleased to say that I found my dream dress within budget, and I'll be returning to look for my bridesmaid dresses as well!

Sweet deals and good quality!

I had a great experience here! I chose a dress that was just perfect for taking pictures on the beach. My stylist, Adrienne has been so responsive. She has been available via text, knowledgeable about the product, and recommended the dress that I eventually chose. I got a great deal on Black Friday which was perfect since this was my 2nd dress for my wedding. I've been to 7 bridal stores and tried on over 50 dresses. This store offers great quality dresses for AMAZING prices. The store interior is so chic too! I have not received my dress yet, so hopefully all goes well.

Ask for Taj!

We went on a Thursday afternoon, by appointment, for me to try on wedding gowns. We were ten minutes late because of traffic, but no one showed any irritation. Taj was my lovely stylist and she was patient, helpful, and very sweet. Only one or two other groups were there during my appointment slot, but we had Taj's undivided attention. I tried on four dresses, tried a couple different sizes, re-tried on a couple, and then finally chose The One! Taj helped me custom order it with removable off-the-shoulder straps (it's normally strapless) and got permission from her manager to give me the Black Friday discount even though I was a couple weeks early. The one thing I didn't expect was a tip line on the receipt because I thought stylists made commission. As a bartender, I can't just leave a tip line blank, though. Just make sure you prepare for that in your budget. Also make sure you're ordering your dress super early!I ordered my dress on November 14th and it won't arrive until February 22nd, then I'll still need to get alterations, but thankfully my wedding isn't until August. Have fun and enjoy your dress shopping experience!

Amazing experience

I found out about Cocomelody online. At first I was a little hesitant about ordering such an important item online. I made a showroom and visited the LA store to try some on. I had an incredible consultant (Samantha!) who helped me find the perfect dress. My dress came quickly and is amazing quality. I have had my first alterations appointment and they were so kind and helpful. They talked me through each step of what was to be done to my dress and set up my follow up appointment right away. This process has been so easy and the employees have helped me every step of the way. I could not recommend Cocomelody enough!

The dresses are beautiful. They photograph beautifully and look super expensive but they are not! Taj was amazing in finding me a dress I would feel comfortable in and they can customize it any way you want. They can take away thing you don't like about the dress and add things you want as well. Amazing customer service

I traveled over an hour and a half to visit the Los Angels location, all I can say is... it was worth the drive! The staff was amazing, super helpful and polite. I went into with a large party and they were able to accommodate us without any problems. I found THE dress at my appointment and it was delivered before the date promised. When I went to alterations in Azuza I was helped by Benjamin and he was absolutely amazing! My dress was customized to my liking, the staff at the alterations department was just beyond amazing, I can’t thank everyone enough for making this process so smoothly and enjoyable. I highly recommend Coco Melody to all the brides out there. I can’t wait to wear my dress on November 2nd.

Amazing experience

After hours and hours of online research on wedding dresses i stumbled upon Cocomelody. i read all the reviews and watched all the youtube reviews and decided to make an appointment.

Check in was fast and easy. The front desk was extremely welcoming and attentive.

My stylist was Clay and let me tell you he was AMAZING! Clay pulled the dresses that i had emailed him prior to my appointment. The quality of the dresses was great and the prices even better! i did not feel rushed or pressured to buy a dress. I went to my appointment with my aunt, sister and grandmother, however i could not make a decision without my mom. so we decided to make a 2nd appointment.

Upon arriving at my second appointment Clay was busy with another client and i was being helped by another stylist. I believe they were having issues finding the dresses that i was asking for. But the store manager took it upon herself to help out personally! Customer service was great on her part. Halfway through my appointment Clay became available and was able to help me. The dress that i was looking for "LD5830" was not available in my size, however when i seen it in person i knew that was my dress!

Plus size selection was great and at very reasonable prices!

i will be updating my post once the dress comes in and i am able to try it on.

Fit like a glove!

Amazing experience

I learned about Cocomelody when I started looking for online wedding dresses that were adorable in the summer of 2018. I followed their Instagram and Facebook page/group where I was able to see real reviews and photos of other brides about their dresses. I fell in love with the Linda dress (LD5780) and bought it during their Black Friday sale. I did custom measurements, sent those in and Coco did an amazing job of having me double and triple check to make sure my measurements were correct. They even had me send photos of myself and the tape measure for verification before starting on my dress. I was also able to change the lining to a dark champagne instead of keeping it either nude or white like they have offered.

It was supposed to take 60 days (not including shipping) and it actually came in about 2 weeks earlier. The shipping took about 3 days from then the shipping label was created to when it was at my door. The dress came in a black Cocomelody box and looked very professional. Everything was amazing quality and fit me perfectly! I'll attach photos to show how perfect my dress is and how it is the most amazing quality! People think I paid over 3K for my dress and are amazed when I tell them I only spent $460!

I will forever be thankful for the amazing ladies at Coco and for making sure my dress was perfect! I can't wait to wear it on my big day in October!

I am so glad with my decision to purchase my dress from CocoMelody. They have so many beautiful dresses to choose from and all reasonably priced. You could purchase 2 quality made dresses for the price of 1 at other bridal shops. Albert from the Alterations Team was simply amazing. He was helpful and knowledgeable. Perfect Dress for my Perfect Day

I was hesitant to order something so important online, but all my fears were swept away when my dress arrived. I'm a bigger girl with an odd shape so I had it custom made and even added sleeves from another dress onto my sleeveless dress. It came in perfect. I lost a little weight and had a local tailor fit the dress even more to my body. She mentioned how well the dress was made. I will tell anyone how great Cocomelody's service was. They even recommended the proper petticoat to give the dress the shaping it needed to sit properly. Thank you!

I'm from the Reno, NV area but we decided to take a trip to cocomelody after hearing great things online about them. This was my fifth time wedding dress shopping and also the best. I’m so glad I got my dress here. Everything is very affordable. They don’t offer alterations in house but that wasn’t an issue for me. They have an exceptional amount of inventory online but not all of it is in their boutique downtown. I loved that none of the sales reps were pushy and really left you to do your own thing unless they were needed. Clay is the person that recommended my dress and at first I laughed in his face! Then my “joke dress” turned out to be THE DRESS. They are great about making changes or alterations to the dress you order, such as removing floral accents that aren’t to your taste or if you like a top of one dress and the bottom of another they can customize something just for you. They ship your dress directly to your house so after you order you don’t have to make another trip downtown.

I came to this store because my girlfriend came to get her dress here almost two years ago. They did such an amazing job with her and her dress that that I knew I had to check them out now that I'm getting married.

I am a plus size figure and I was thinking that they would not carry any dresses in my size (size 20), but they did! A large selection as a matter of fact. Abigail was our expert for the day. She told me and my girlfriend's to browse all the dresses and she would help us get them for me. Her attentions to me and my group went above and beyond what I could've hoped for. She really understood what I wanted and didn't make me feel pressured at all! In fact, she made me feel so welcomed and comfortable with her that it felt like we've known each other for years!

They have a large selection of dresses. They can custom style any dress! I think you should come with an open mind and be open to suggestions from the experts because they really know what they are doing! Even if you think you would never imagine yourself in a certain style, just try it out and you might be surprised!

I want to thank everybody at CocoMelody for their hospitality this past Saturday (05/05/18) for my first bridal fitting with them. Abigail is AMAZING! As I mentioned earlier, she went above an beyond to make this experience so much fun and memorable with my mom and girlfriends. I highly recommend this place!

I found my dress 1 month prior to my wedding date. Worked with Benjamin (he's Amazing). I was a little discouraged because they don't have many selections in bigger sizes so he made me try on the dress that I fell in love with! WOW! The LA shop is the ultimate experience for dress shopping! If you can, go there, you won't be disappointed. I flew in from Vancouver, Canada and was greeted with champagne and gracious and professional people. It's obvious that everyone loves what they are doing, they get excited with you and do everything in their power to make this an amazing experience! I have been to high-end boutiques and nothing has come close to my experience at Cocomelody. Angel was helping me and she is UNREAL! If you get a chance ask for her - she truly knows what she is doing and makes you feel so special on this day! I happened to be in LA for work and made a last minute appointment online, they were super accommodating and made me feel very welcome. Benjamin was an amazing advisor: patient, kind, knowledgable, and more than willing to work within my budget. Even though my budget wasn't the biggest, there were many, many, MANY, gorgeous options for me to try on. Even at my size (street size 14), there were many options to try on, some with modesty fabric to cover the back and I could get a real idea of what the dresses would look like on my body. The selection of styles was extensive and gorgeous. The entire experience was lovely and I found the perfect dress for my big day! Thank you Benjamin for making me feel comfortable throughout and making me feel special. I highly recommend CocoMelody!

I haven't gotten my dress yet, so this is a review based on my initial experience. I made an appointment on the wrong day, and I emailed them once and they changed it right away! I also got to my appointment 10 minutes late, and since the appointment was only 1 hour, I was worried I wouldn't find a dress. I picked out 4 to try on, but it was the first one I tried on that I wound up buying. The dress was perfect AND it was below my budget! I was so happy and emotional about the dress I bought! I couldn't be more happy with everything so far. My dress should be ready by April. which gives me enough time to do alterations and get it perfect for me. I am so happy with everything. I will update my review once I get the dress and have it altered. Thank you to the team at Coco Melody...you guys rock. And it is super awesome that my nickname is Coco. Yea!!

After coming from another Bridal Boutique I ran into this place. They took me in without an appointment because they were available. Tyler was very nice, patient and very helpful and understanding. If you are looking for a beautiful dress and a low cost this is the place!! I originally bought my dress from Alfred Angelo, and as many people know they closed their doors without telling anyone and I lost my dress!! I saw Cocomelody online and couldn't believe how beautiful and inexpensive their dresses were!! Very skeptical I am luck enough to live in Southern CA so I was able to make the trip to LA to see for myself. STUNNING!! Make an appointment as there is a doorman checking as it is located in the fashion district (which isn't the nicest place). They have almost every dress you see online and I feel in love with a new dress.
If you are looking for a bridal salon where they serve champagne and have a large sitting area for your guests this isn't that place. But they have dressing rooms and little seating areas for you to try on dresses and everyone there is so sweet and helpful!!
The dresses you see online are exactly how they look in real life! I paid $1,100 for my first dress and for under $400 at Cocomelody the dresses were the same quality.
You can order dresses online- they will custom make them to your measurements for a small fee, and if you aren't planning on any crazy dieting I suggest the extra fee to avoid having to have it altered. So happy I took a chance on this place and so happy I can share this gem!
My dress with custom measurements, added lining on the torso (the original dress was a little see through for my taste) shipping, and alterations through Cocomelody was about $580

Cocomeldy is changing the bridal dress game! I looked for what felt like a lifetime for the “perfect dress”. Nothing stuck out to me. Everything seemed like cookie cutter dresses, all the same and nothing special about them. Then I stumbled upon Cocomeldy’s site and I hit the floor! There were so many unique and beautiful dresses for prices that made you think it was too good to be true! But I was at my wits end and decided to take the risk. And I am so glad I did! Not only did i find my one of a kind vintage dress, but it was tailored perfectly to my body. And it was all done online. Me and my mom couldn’t believe it when I tried it on! If you have any doubts about this site please don’t! The martial and quality was amazing as well. It looked and felt like it cost thousands of dollars all for only $400! I had two bridesmaids who both live on opposite sides of the country. We wanted something easy to order. I gave them a color (Dark Navy) and we checked out dresses on different sites. We settled on cocomelody due to previous reviews and we’re so glad we did! The dresses are reasonably priced and extremely well made. One bridesmaid got custom sizing. She said it’s better than any bridesmaid dress she’s had from other places. My sister got standard sizing which was too long for her 6’ frame. My mom, who is a seamstress had to take the dress out just a bit. She also said how well made the gown was. Cocomeloy was a sweet surprise!

Ive been waiting for my wedding photos to get back to write this review. I found cocmelody online searching for wedding dresses on a somewhat tight budget and i found their website. I thought NO FREAKING WAY are these good quality for those prices... i researched and looked up reviews and i kept coming back to the website to look more. A little while later I got the chance to go to Los Angeles to visit family and thought what the heck, im making an appt to look at dresses!! I made my appt and showed up anxious to get inside and try on what i could!! I tried on many dresses. many of them were so beautiful but just were not ME.... My last dress was a random pick off the shelf after i saw the sleeves i wanted on my dress. I put it on and BAM, i knew it was it... it was this feeling of relief that i knew this is what i wanted to wear on my weding day... The customer service and attention i received while there were amazing, i felt beautiful and they helped me pick and choose what i wanted in a dress! The owner was also so amazing, he was so sweet in helping me make changes to my dress, they even gave me a hang made garter that day They took my customer measurments and my Dress was made in about 2 months and i got it shipped back to my home in Nevada.. I couldnt have asked for anything better than the dress, Thank you for making me feel BEAUTIFUL on my special day.... Ill never forget my experience and I wrefer ALL my brides to you!!!

I ordered a customised wedding dress from CocoMelody. There were some dress that I found online that were nice and pretty but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I sent through an enquiry. Fiona (customer consultant) was really easy to work. Everything was done via email: sent through the pictures, specific details of what I wanted, my measurements. The process took about 7 weeks before receiving confirmation that my dress was completed. Checked all the details via pictures, and fixed all the parts that I thought wasn't just right. Delivery was tracked and arrived after 4 days from final confirmation date.

My wedding is not until April 2017 but I'm super happy with everything. I have also purchased 4 bridesmaids dresses from CocoMelody. Will definitely recommended to all my friends.

Here is my story:

I never think that the wedding would be so stressful for me. I'm very calm person..... But, it turns completely different:)
Since, we were looking 3 bridesmaids dresses in yellow color, it was easier for us to order them online and of course cheaper. I started to look online, reading reviews, etc. Chinese stores offers a lot of different products.... but you never know what you get. Most of the review saying that it's usually 50/50, therefore we decided to try with cocomelody. Why they? I guess I choose them only because they have a store in CA and they had a good reviews as well. We ordered 3 dresses. The whole communication process from start to finish was with a customer service representative - Fiona Kuo. All my answers were responding in a timely manner. Do not forget about the time difference! I got the dresses month later (DHL signature confirmation). I was surprised, each dress was packed separately in cocomelody zip cover. Moreover, I was surprised, that they came exactly as pictured, well made! I'm very happy with my purchase! Dam, why I did not order my wedding dress from them.....because I was very skeptical about Chinese stores and decided to order my dress from local designer, which was a big mistake.....

I would definitely recommend Cocomelody in Irvine to any of my friends who were looking for a wedding dress. This is absolute first bridal shop that I visited, and I've already decided to buy my wedding dress there.
Tiger helped me today and he was such a nice guy. He reminded me that I need to feel beautiful but comfortable, and to find something that is "me".
dresses range from ~$1000~ i think a lot were below the range $1000, but the quality more than that price .very gorgeous!

Tiger is open to all opinions, and he was able to grab dresses that might be flattering on me. As I said that this was my first bridal shop appt ever and all things made me feel very comfortable and confident in finding a style that works for me.

girls, you should definitely check this place out. who knows, you might find the one WOW dress !!!! strongly recommend!

I got engaged on March 6, 2014. When looking for a bridal dress shop I was looking at other places that were considered to be a little more "boutique-ish". When I made an appointment at CocoMelody I was literally expecting to NOT find anything that I liked. I had purchased my debut (18th birthday) dress from CocoMelody.com in 2003 so I also wanted to try something different.

On the day of my appointment, I was set up with KE. Ke was AMAZING! Im super super glad that he was my stylist! He was very sweet and HILARIOUS! He was the perfect match for my family and I. He was always honest and never tried to push me to purchase anything. He allowed me to take my time as I was trying on each dress (not like Davids Bridal where I felt rushed) and helped me weigh all the pros and cons. I really appreciated the fact that he was 100% real with me the entire time and helped me find THE dress! He also helped me find ways to customize my top 2 dresses. Working with Ke was like hanging out with a friend! We were probably the loudest and most "ratchet" group there lol. I think the interaction with Ke and also the rest of the staff helped me make my decision, because I was torn between a dress here and one at another store.

With all that said, I definitely loved my experience at CocoMelody in Irvine. I went to David's Bridal in Brea, Blush in Tustin,Mariposa in Anaheim and even stopped by Panache in Costa Mesa...and I have to say this was my favorite appointment. BTW, you MUST request to work with KE for an awesome time finding your perfect dress!

I went to the CocoMelody Bridal Shop just to try on dresses and to get an idea of what I liked. I went in thinking I loved lace and that's all I wanted. I had the pleasure of having Ke as a consultant. With his guidance I picked out a handful of lace dresses I liked. After trying them on I had it narrowed down to one but still wasn't completely satisfied. Ke went a grabbed something completely different for me to try on because he thought I may like it. The moment I put it on I got a completely different feeling. I was overwhelmed with emotions. When I saw myself in the mirror it was the first time I saw myself as a bride!
Ke is a great consultant. He listened to me and understood what I was looking for better than I did myself. This is a great place to get an one of a kind dress for your special day!!!!

I received my dress on 21st of May. It was shipped slightly ahead of the estimated time and arrived five days after having been shipped. Excellent timing. I was, of course, a bit nervous about buying a dress without trying it first. I had done some research and tried on some dresses in a bridal shop to get a better idea of what style suited my figure, which I would recommend you do. It made me a bit more confident in choosing the dress. I got it custom-made and had my measurements taken by a professional to be on the safe side.

The dress is amazing! The colour is perfect. Not too white but not too yellow either. It fits perfectly but I will probably need to have the back taken in a bit. The seams are very neat and the overall finish is good.

Most importantly, the dress makes me look good (no point in having a pretty dress if it doesn't make you look gorgeous).

I am glad that I took the risk as I am very satisfied with the product, the service and the price.

Customer service doesn't get any better! The girls here are a lot of fun to work with! They're friendly, funny and you can tell they care about helping you choose the right dress. I worked with Yolane and she was so helpful in guiding me to choose the dress I liked the most by asking for my thoughts about each dress. She gave me many useful suggestions. I think that's really important for a sales consultant to not bias your opinion when you choose a wedding dress. She was also very familiar with all the styles of dresses so she was able to pull the right ones for me after she got a sense of my taste and what I was looking for. She also sent me a card after my visit, what a sweetheart!

Super affordable and beautiful!

It only cost me $400 to look like a literal princess on my wedding day! I actually had a dress already, but unfortunately it was ruined a few months from the wedding. I scoured the internet for affordable dresses and found this dress inn cocomelody. Once I saw the customer photos, my mind was made up. About 3 months later, I had the dress and I wouldn’t change a thing! I did have to do a little bit of alteration as some of the seams were a little tight, but it turned out perfectly and I’m so happy!

Lovely store, lovely people, lovely dresses!

I loved my experience at Cocomelody and found the dress (!!). The store had lots of natural light, beautiful windows, and thoughtful interior design. Benjamin was my consultant, and he was so helpful, encouraging, and always standing by at a moment's notice to help make each dress comfortable and appealing. Later, the manager there, Abigail, helped me to place the order for my dress, and we also had such a great time with her, as she was sweet, enthusiastic, and super helpful! My appointment was for a Saturday morning at 10a (their earliest appointment for that day), and parking was a little difficult to find, so it is advised to plan on arriving earlier to make sure you don't miss your appointment!

I had a great time and I'm so happy I found my dress there!!

-BEAUTIFUL dresses! Sometimes pictures are doctored up and then the real thing is a let-down, but the dress I ordered was much prettier in real life than onscreen!
-The quality is incredible. Very, very well made.
-They allow custom-sizing. For me, that's important. :P
-I ordered a strapless dress, and it stays up just fine; very secure.
-They're one of the cheapest places I've found, yet their dresses are high quality and gorgeous (IMHO, prettier than designer dresses).
-They have a fairly wide selection.
-Great sales

CONS:
-they don't communicate that much...I never received a shipment notification. That's why they only get 4 stars for professionalism. However, the order shipped on time and I received the dress (custom-tailored) just over a month after ordering, so that was pretty sweet!

Wonderful Dress Experience with CocoMelody Bridal

Cocomelody was the third shop I made an appointment with, and I'm so glad I did. It's scary buying a wedding dress! The folks at Cocomelody were exactly the type of bridal appointment I needed after two hovering attendants that sped me through not-quite-right or not-quite-in-budget options other places. Cocomelody pulled exactly the dresses I asked for, and left me alone to spend a few minutes in each of them to really see what they looked like, and get the feel for whether or not I liked them. They also let me pick some sample dresses on my own, and when one of those dresses was "the one" they had such a quick, easy and painless ordering process. (They also offer an all inclusive alterations package for $500 thatI didn't end up taking, but it's worth mentioning.)

The dress came as expected right at the beginning of the expected delivery window, and I couldn't have been more pleased.

Wonderful Professionals Gave a Personal Experience

The showroom staff made me feel excited and at ease at the same time from the moment we walked in. Interestingly enough, I ended up choosing the first dress I tried on, and what sealed it was they reminded me I could customize the dress. And me being able to have sleeves was a must have.
Jade was my stylist, and her level of attention was wonderful. I truly felt that everyone there, really did want me to find exactly what was right for me. I even found the right price. I was wanting to stay on the economical side of things without sacrificing quality and I feel this boutique is exactly what every bride should check out.

Cocomelody made it so easy!!!!

Taj was so great! When we arrived they knew what I was looking for but, Taj grabbed one from their new 2020 line and said just try it. OMG my mother, sister and best friend said it was the one. I looked in the mirror and was speechless. I am a 45 year old bride so I wasn't looking for the princess style dress I wanted something vintage and elegant. Taj was the bomb.com!!! Even another mother of a bride came up to me and said this dress was the one. I can not say enough of about my dress and Taj!!!! Can not wait til April 10th 2020!!!! So happy with my online order!

I ordered my dress through cocomelody and loved it! As soon as I saw my dress I knew it was going to be the one, so I did the custom order with measurements and it fit perfectly! Everyone said how flattering it was, the quality of the lace, and people were guessing I'd spent way more on it than I actually had! My family and friends all live far away so I knew I wouldn't be able to have that special experience with them in a bridal shop but this helped so much. They could all see the dress before hand, I could customize it the way I wanted, and on my wedding day this dress helped me feel gorgeous. Highly recommend it!

Amazing so far!

Gorgeous Dress and Amazing Price

I found my dress online with CoCo Melody and ended up going to the boutique to try on something like it. I was amazed at the quality for the price. I received so many compliments on the dresses detail - especially the belt. Also, it was really flattering on me which can be difficult for plus size brides!

Great Experience, Even Better Quality

I had been to so many boutiques including those downtown storefronts and bridal boutiques in some high end areas. I had the best experience at CoCoMelody. The quality was great and the pricing was even better. They are a direct connect to the supplier so there were no upcharges on dresses. They do charge a service fee which was a little high but comparing to other places, still was worth every penny. The only downfall I had was that when I went in, they were in between receiving the new collection for 2019 and so some of the dresses I saw online were unavailable at the LA location. Other than that, I absolutely loved the experience and am in love with my dress selection!

I love my dress from Coco Melody. The Showroom is boutiquey and lovely. They don't have dresses in very many sizes so that was a little unfortunate but I absolutely love the dress I ordered. It came on time and in perfect condition. The value of this place is worth everything!

I am a plus size bride and shopping for a dress that I like is like pulling teeth! Most of them have ruching at the waist or so poorly made that they just look cheap. Plus, white is not my favorite color and does NOT look good on a pasty white girl my size. No thank you! I ended up buying a $200 dress at Dillard's that felt better on my body than most of the bridal gowns I tried on. I loved the skirt of my Dillard's dress, but the top was just not working for me. I wanted a bridal gown with the lace and frills, but just not a white one. Can't a bride (even if she is very curvy and slightly odd) get the dress of her dreams?! Enter CocoMelody. I looked at bridesmaid dresses, special occasion dresses, ordered fabric samples, the whole enchilada. But it was just not quite....bridal enough. I found a beautiful bridal gown that was EXACTLY what I was looking for, but it was that white/ivory color that I just did not love. Then I thought "why not give it a shot and ask...what's the harm?" So I finally contacted them. I asked if they could make the bridal gown dress that I LOVED in the color that I LOVED. Within 24 hours, they had contacted me and let me know that they could! I was SO excited! I gave them my custom measurements and even made some custom changes (shortened the hem so it was a tea-length party dress.) They were very helpful and even double checked everything to make sure it was right. They said it was a 35 day production period, but It was LESS than 35 days later that I was notified that it was on it's way. DHL delivered and was VERY quick! The quality of the work is superb! It was exactly what I had imagined and it fit PERFECTLY! Yes, a bride, even if she is plus sized and odd can get the dress of her dreams! So now not only do I have my dream dress but also a fun party dress to go with my formal Dillard's skirt and STILL SPENT LESS than I would have in a bridal salon! Highly recommended, especially if you are curvy or want something a little different!

Rushed but I found the one

I went to the pop up store in NYC a couple days ago. It was my first ever bridal appointment for trying on dresses. Their appointments were only 30 minutes so it was already very rushed. They didn’t have the dress I went specifically to try on that I was told would be there. But I ended up falling in love with another dress. I didn’t order there because there was only time to try on a few dresses and I wanted to be able to try more dress shapes before making a decision. I ended up ordering the Cocomelody dress last night that I loved at the pop up! The service was just ok since it was such a rushed appointment. But you can’t beat the price! And the quality is great, too!

Great shopping, poor alterations experience

Cocomelody was the 3rd shop I visited, and the only appointment my Bridal Party could make. I had found a dress at the 2nd shop, but had waited to see what Cocomelody would offer, plus I didn't want to deprive the party of the whole experience! Albert helped us out, and he was fantastic. He really knew his stuff and had great advise for me. I appreciate that he really focused on me and my party, and worked hard to find the right dress. He also helped us take photos so we could show the family and remember the day. After a number of dresses tried on, I did end up buying my dress at cocomelody, and I was quite happy with my dress. It fit my wedding perfectly.
The only down side for me was the alterations. After buying, I was told I would just need to call the alterations location in Glendale when it was closer to my wedding date, and they would take care of it. Of course I expected there to be a fee at that time, but it seemed like it was a simple matter of scheduling the appointment and going from there. When the time came, I called and called with no answer. When I finally got someone on the phone, they were very rude. The said that if I hadn't "pre purchased" the alterations, I couldn't get them done there. I had not even been given a pre-purchase option, nor could I even figure out how to buy that, since it's not on the website or anything. I didn't even fully know what I needed in terms of changes, aside form the hem that very clearly needed to be brought up.
Because of the experience with the alterations department, I ended up being left in a situation scrambling to find alternatives for the alterations I thought was going to be straightforward. Thankfully, the David's Bridal near me does alterations, even on dresses not from their shop, so I was able to finish that process through them (although at a much higher cost).
If it were just the experience of the shopping, I would recommend Cocomelody because Albert's service was so exceptional and he made the whole thing fun and enjoyable for all of us. However, after the experience with alterations, I am hesitant to recommend unless you already have someone you know for the alterations. It's incredibly jarring finding out you have no options to alter as you are closing in on the deadline to have the alterations done and get your dress back in time! I am taking a star off for the alterations experience, although I would really like to take a star and a half because it was so stressful!

Disappointed with NYC Pop UP

First let me say, I did buy my dress from cocomelody! The value of the dress and even seeing it in person was wonderful. However I traveled 8 hours from VA to come to the NYC Pop over the weekend. I barely received any help when I came. She gave me the dress I was interested in and I told her I could not fit the sample size. She said there was nothing to be done. I later found out from others who traveled that they were offered the shell of the dress in the same size I am. I was extremely disappointed as I felt I had traveled all the way to NYC for a waste. I tried to get measured and they begrudgingly checked only my hips and bust and my MOH who came with me had to push them to do more to help. I was displeased and the only consolation ws getting to see my dress in person and knowing that the quality was what I expected.

Value is great. Good dress at a fair price. Exceedingly difficult to contact by phone - they do not return messages, either. It took me nearly a week just to pay the second installment. They lost the invoice and misfiled the order. On the other hand, weddings are supposed to be a one-time thing, so... just be aware that value trumps service by a large margin.

I ordered my Cocomelody dress a few days after my engagement in December after reading some mixed reviews online but plenty of good reviews. The customer service department were all very friendly and helpful. I contacted them about colors and different options after I had ordered my dress and they talked through all my options and wanted to help. They were very helpful and friendly. About 3 weeks into production I even had a second thought and wanted to remove the crystals and beading from the dress and they responded promptly and made it happen. I received an email that my dress had shipped and it was right on time with the 40 day production time.
I received he dress and unboxed it and it was not an ivory color but a bright white. When contacting customer service upon receiving this they asked me to send pictures and I was told, "that is the color of our ivory. It is not a dark ivory like most places." The dress's tulle was scratchy and of a lower quality, there were a few seams that were sown crooked, there were about a dozen places with threads hanging off the dress where lace was coming up on the edges and the threads were not finished. The bottom tulle was not finished but was just a rough, cut edge with 2 places that were jagged and not straight. The satin waist piece was tacked in 6 places around the dress and was not actually sewn on and would not lay straight because of this. It was not something a seamstress wouldn't have easily been able to fix but it would have had to be fixed non the less.
Overall I was very pleased with the level of customer service and support with Cocomelody. They were friendly and helpful and quick to respond and help. The color swatches were not accurate. The quality of the dress & construction are what you would expect from a dress that is mass produced and shipped from China. I have ordered many products under these same conditions and quality on Amazon for summer dresses or every day clothing and realize it will not get many

Avoid avoid avoid

Very disappointing experience. From the process of buying the dress to getting the dress was not a happy experience. When I bought the dress it felt like they were rushing me out. Didn't even have time to take "I say yes" Ren the consultant that was helping me look like she was bored out of her mind throughout the whole process. I bought the dress at the LA location, and when it shut down, it looks like they forgot my wedding dress order. I only got it a barely a month away from my wedding date and I purchased it five months earlier. I did follow up monthly asking for a tracking number, and each time they told me to not worry we will get your dress in time. The stress of getting the dress on time has almost ruin one of the most important time of my life. The service was horrible, as they not delay it once, but they delay were about to delay it two more times. They also did not compensate me for any of the delays. It was truly a frustrating experience. Also they measure me in the LA location, and the sleeve was still too short. What was the purpose of measuring me then. The only redeeming situation is that when I finally got the dress it was beautiful. However, no matter how beautiful the dress was if new brides want to avoid headache and the heartache this might not be the best place.

I won’t ever again

The quality of the dress is horrendous and not worth the price. You’re not getting a discounted dress you’re paying about as much as you’d pay at any other chain bridal store. The dress although fit for it, was too small, the customized directions were not followed, the buttons were falling off because of horrible workmanship. The dress was stuffed in a tiny box from China.

I'm extremely disappointed right now. It appears that the reviews on their actual website are vetted, and (though this is my own fault) I wish I would have read some reviews on Yelp to realize that their shipping/processing times are a little skewed. My dress should have been put in the mail over the weekend (or yesterday, if they want to claim no shipping on weekends). I ordered on 9/05/2017 and the dress states a 25 day processing time, making completion 9/30/2017. I reached out to their customer service yesterday to get an update on my dress to see if it was planned to be shipped in the next few days. I have paid for expidited shipping in order to ensure that I would receive my dress either late this week or early next week. However, upon speaking to a customer service rep, Lina, I have learned that my dress is "still in production" as this is their "busiest time of year".

I have learned to expect the worst when ordering online, which is why I gave myself a few week buffer. However, I made plans involving my dress around the fact that it should arrive within the next week or so. At this point, I am not sure WHEN it will be shipped.

Disappointing

We found the perfect bridesmaids dresses on this site and when it finally came in and we discovered it was the wrong size even though my sister has worn the same size for 10years they refused to even offer a return or discount on the other dresses, told me I should take it somewhere else to have it altered. And this was after I sent numerous emails and it wasn't until I left a bad review on their site that they finally wanted to "Make it right." Just a very disappointing experience.

As many of you, I was in love with this gown since I have first seen it here. As I live in Austria and there is a physical shop here, I decided I will go there and have a look of the gown in person. Everything went perfect - the Austrian team is really kind. I ordered directly the gown and also took a customized solution, for which I paid EUR 100,00. I have to admit that the prices in the physical shop do not correspond to the ones on the web page - as an explanation was given there are high custom and delivery costs. The dress was sent directly to me, as I did have around 1 month until the wedding day. Unfortunately, the dress was not made as my measurements tooken at the shop - it was around 12cm longer and was also much wider around the chest. We did a complaint and it is true that we did receive the option to bring the dress back and wait for the corrections to be made or choose a tailor shop near by and have it there to be corrected. We did the second option due to the short period of time until the wedding. I really love my wedding dress, but at the end I had to pay additionally 80% of the dress price for correction and this is not okay. We received only half of the correction price as reimbursement. What I am trying to say, it was not worth it to have a customized dress as I had to do another one with higher costs and a lot of stress. My family was actually against it to have a dress from here, but I convinced them, this is the one and it made me sad, that it was not as perfect as so many have written. Everyone loved my dress and I did receive tousand of compliments, but the price was much higher than expected, and I could have easily bought a dress from the local bridal shops, as the end price was the same as theirs, which is why I choose Cocomelody at the beginnning - because of the wonderful dresses offered and the surpising prices. In a conclusion, I had to pay for my wedding dress in total: EUR 1.300,00. The reimbursement was EUR 300,00.

I purposely ordered custom made dress (since I knew that I have very particular proportions). Dress came totally off sizes! The bust cups were almost on my waist area , sleeves instead of being tight on the shoulders hanging like a piece of material. The jewellery stones on the dress not properly tailored, one of them fall off. I measured the required sizes on the dress and compared it to what I provided to Iris- customer service representative.. not even close to what it was suppose to be. I was soo excited to get this dress as my second dress and then order my main dress from them too...luckily I did not do that. I can't even get hold of them for more than 24 hours now, I want my money back and I want to return this..whatever I got if you can call it a dress..more that that it says the store is in LA, but the package came from China...for sure this is a Fraud.

Terrible experience

I ordered a custom dress from Cocomelody in November. The ordering process was easy and great and I was super excited when my dress arrived in mid-January. Then I tried the dress on. It had been made incorrectly in several ways. I immediately contacted Cocomelody's customer service and then waited, and waited, and waited for a response. Some of the mistakes were almost comical. The response I got was incredibly frustrating, and always delivered in mangled English, so often difficult to interpret. Despite Cocomelody making a number of mistakes, they offered limited compensation for that (e.g., $20 for delivering a dirty dress). Ultimately I got $170 refunded, but it was a fight and poor compensation for receiving an incorrectly made and dirty dress in the first place.

Anywhere But Here

Where do I start? I visited so many stores and then finally found the perfect dress at Cocomelody. I just wish I had found it somewhere else. I would be fine dealing with the snotty sales reps and the MONTH late arrival of my dress. I kept telling myself, I'll get the dress and can go on my way. But no. The issues with this place just don't end.
Cocomelody makes the dresses FROM SCRATCH for each girl. I had several modifications to make my dress modest. (which the sales reps were absolutely and unnecessarily rude about btw) They told me that the dress would be made specifically for me with those alterations. But then I asked about them taking my measurements for the dress WHICH THEY DON'T DO! No. They make the dress from scratch in the basic sizes, and then expect me to find a seamstress to make any needed alterations. INFURIATING, but not the end of the world, since a size 12 fit me perfectly. BUT, then the sales reps started going on and on about how I should "probably get a 14 considering they have to replace some mesh with actual fabric. And you can always take in clothing but it's nearly impossible to let it out." Blah blah blah. What am I supposed to know? So I get the 14.

I go to try on the dress today (let us not forget a MONTH later than the original estimated delivery day), and what do you know?!?! IT'S WAY TOO BIG! And now I have even less time for my seamstress to make adjustments. When talking to my seamstress, she was shocked that they told me to order a size up when the dress fit perfectly as a 12. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!

This all wouldn't have even been a problem if they had just taken my measurements in the first place and made the dress to my specifications. What a waste when they were literally making the dress from scratch for me in the first place.

Learn from my mistakes. DON'T PURCHASE HERE! Even if you happen to find your dream dress here, it isn't worth the headache and pain and frustration. Go find a different dress with a better store.

Would not recommend this store to anyone. From what I can tell they used to be fine when they had a store front in Cali, but now they are terrible. Shipping takes forever and in the case you need to return - good luck. It’s been a month since I submitted mine and still nothing. Most likely going to have to eat the $150.

Scam and liars

I went in store to try on dresses, my stylist was extremely friendly and helpful. I found my dream dress and when I went up to the front they measured me for a size to order. I’d tried on many wedding dresses prior to this and always fit in a 4, but he said according to their measurements I was between a 4 and 6. Going against my instinct, I ordered the 6 because I trusted them and they told me I would need minor alterations with the 6. So I bought the dress in store, and waited for it in the mail. I was so excited and happy, just to be completely disappointed when I tried it on. The quality is poorly made, very stiff and oddly shaped in the bust area, not to mention way too big! So I reached out to customer service and they insisted that I get alterations, if not I could return but there would be a 30% restocking fee. I told them I was never away of this policy and she said it’s on your receipt and online. Well first, I didn’t order the dress online so how would I have seen that? And I looked on my receipt and there’s nothing on there that says a 30% restocking fee. I feel like they lied to me about what size I should have ordered, just so they could get more money for alterations. And they should tell customers up front about this policy, because it’s a huge financial commitment! I have been going back and forth with them and at this point I am going to make a small courts claim against them because this is so unprofessional on their side! If you have such a “strict policy” on returns then they should make all their customers who buy in store AWARE OF THIS. And it doesn’t even say it on the receipt!

Do not buy from cocomelody

I ordered a custom dress from cocomelody based off pictures from another bride who ordered. I worked with numerous stylists to ensure the dress would be made perfectly. Asked all the questions, asked exactly how to order, and made sure my measurements were exact. Not only did the dress not fit, but it was the WRONG COLOR. I ended up with a YELLOW wedding dress. Not champagne as the style is, not ivory (which is what I ordered) but straight up YELLOW. I begged and pleaded with the company for it to be fixed, as I bought from this company to save money. I waited until the Black Friday sale and everything. They would NOT take the dress back to fix it nor would they remake the dress without me having to pay AGAIN for a new dress. DO NOT BUY A CUSTOM MADE DRESS. PERIOD. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
