Made Our Backyard Wedding Absolutely Perfect
Zach at Coastal Tented Events was absolutely incredible to work with. From start to finish, he was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. We had a backyard wedding and, naturally, had a ton of questions — Zach was always patient, thorough, and reassuring every step of the way.
His crew was also so professional — efficient, organized, and clearly experienced, which made us feel completely at ease.
The clear top tent was so cool. It ended up raining during our reception, but we were completely dry, and it created the coolest experience being able to watch the rain fall above us. It honestly made the night feel even more special and memorable.
His team truly made our wedding day perfect. We had the best time dancing under the tent, rain and all.
I can’t recommend Zach and Coastal Tented Events enough. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we hoped for and more.

Zach at Coastal Rented Events was amazing. If you are getting married in the Delaware beaches, this should be your first call. Honestly it should be the only option. From start to finish I did not have to worry about a single thing.
Everything was set up perfectly and ran so smoothly. Zach was calm, organized, and on top of every detail which made the entire day completely stress free. We were able to just enjoy our wedding and trust that everything was handled. Could not recommend Coastal Rented Events more! We cannot recommend Coastal Tented Events highly enough! We rented a tent, tables, chairs, bathrooms, and all serviceware for our wedding, and they transformed an empty farm field into the most stunning wedding venue—more beautiful than we could have dreamed of.
Kathy, our main contact, was an absolute dream to work with. She took the time to fully understand our vision and was incredibly patient as we navigated decisions and changes. We trusted her completely—she worked within our budget, gave us clear guidance on what was essential and what wasn’t, and provided fantastic recommendations for other vendors. THE BEST! 10/10 Without a doubt the easiest vendors we dealt with. My husband and I used this company for our wedding day at IRLSS, they were so wonderful working out all of the details with us! Our venue was outdoors, and at the beginning of the wedding planning it was very overwhelming trying to map out all of the different details needed for different vendors for our event. Coastal was absolutely amazing to work with though; the staff is very friendly and guided us through the process no problem at all. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for rentals! Love the fabric options for table cloths and runners too!

The entire team at Coastal is nothing short of amazing! They provided us with the most beautiful sail cloth tents at Good Earth Market, in Ocean View, DE. Hurricane Ian was no match for Zach and his team. Working with Zach was great. He sent back revisions for our layout and knew our venue (IRLSS) well. He'd done a ton of weddings there before, and it showed. His crew was on sight first thing in the morning on Friday before my Saturday wedding ready to go. The weather on my date was a little up-in-the-air 48 hours before and we were unsure how cold it would be. 24 hours before the wedding, we added on two tent heaters. Man did that save the day. Zach didn't even blink an eye. He was ready to go. We can't recommend working with Zach more! Thanks for making our day such a breeze. Pun intended.

So thankful for the Coastal Team!
Working with Zach and the rest of the folks at Coastal Tented Events was so easy and helped make our wedding planning/day incredibly stress-free.
Not only did we have to postpone our wedding, but our headcount changed so many times, and no matter what, the Coastal Tented Events group was flexible and accommodating. Throughout the process, Zach was so easy-going and his expertise in event setup was really clear.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Zach worked seamlessly with our caterer, venue, and planner. They all had it under control, meaning we didn't have to do much. It was great!

The week of the wedding Zach and team were at the venue to set up the tent, chairs, lights, bars, tables, and so much more. It was almost 100 degrees out on set-up day and they were all working their butts off!! They even worked with my father and husband to help secure some custom pieces we were bringing in as the wind was going to get wild overnight.

Waterfront Farm Wedding
Weddings are stressful in and of themselves, but you will not regret the decision to hire Zach and his team at Coastal to ensure ease and professionalism for the special day! The Coastal Team was a joy to work with. Kathy went above and beyond to help create our perfect wedding day. Kathy pulled multiple linens to help us find our "look" and thought of things for the venue that didn't even occur to me (like adding extra lighting outside, and adding a pop up canopy for our DJ). If you want the most perfect wedding day, please book with Zach and the others at Coastal Tented Events! Zach was always available to talk the days leading up to the wedding and we had exchanged numerous emails, phone calls, and texts. Zach wanted this day to be as perfect as I wanted it to be, and was so flexible with rescheduling because of COVID. The day of the wedding I was blown away with how beautiful the entire ceremony and reception were setup- they went above and beyond all of my expectations. Zach is like a tent vendor AND a wedding coordinator all in one! Not only is he professional, but he is empathetic, kind, and enthusiastic as if he is part of the experience. The day of our wedding, it ended up raining, and Zach called me to reassure me the day would be beautiful as if it were outside on the beach and he did not disappoint. There’s a reason every venue in lower DE works with Coastal
You’re in good hands. Chances are, if you’re getting married in lower Delaware, these guys are familiar with your venue. They’ll know the lay of the land and who to talk to if something needs to be adjusted or provided for.
Zach was our point person. He was on it from the very beginning; super detail-oriented and thorough, punctual for the walk-through, excellent team player with the caterers (even though he’d never worked with them before), and patient as we continually adjusted our guest count, table needs, chair finish, linens....
He actually showed up on the day of our wedding, which I hadn’t bothered to hope for... but it really made me feel like our event mattered to him and that he wanted to make sure everything was just right. He and his crew even added walls to one side of our tent at the last minute to account for the wind. ...I attribute our cake remaining upright to his discernment in the moment, long after I was able to make even one more tiny decision!
Thanks Coastal for making sure we had a stellar shindig at Lavender Fields, Warrington Manor.

Zach is awesome!! We had 2 ceremonies in 1 day. The morning ceremony was a Hindu ceremony and the evening ceremony was a civil ceremony. There was so much coordination that needed to be figured out for this to run smoothly and Zach was always willing to help figure out the answer and lend his expertise. He responded so quickly to everything. Went over the plans with me numerous times and was incredibly flexible when the plan changed. The day went by seamlessly and was absolutely amazing.

Kathy and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. Their pricing was competitive and the Chivari chairs and gold chargers really added a nice touch to our wedding. She was super flexible when our numbers dropped significantly. Would definitely recommend to anyone getting married in the area!

This is a company that is committed to working hard for their clients and providing the impeccable service. We were very impressed with Zach's professionalism and he worked so well with our planner and vendors to pull off a great wedding day. Our guests even commented on how beautiful the tent was. We had a larger 215 person wedding and also used Coastal for our linens, chairs, tables, lights, tableware, etc and were very happy. I would definitely recommend using Coastal for any event - they were a pleasure to work with.

Coastal Saved Our Wedding!
Coastal was incredible to work with. Kathy and Joe and the team captured our wedding day vision perfectly and made it all happen. After a large storm came and damaged our tent, coastal saved the day and brought a new one in a single day. I can't thank Joe and Kathy enough for making our day happen, and our vision come true.
So many of our guests raved about how beautiful the ceremony and reception were. We had a wedding in a field, and Coastal made it look like the an elegant, glamorous event that we'll never forget. From the chairs to the table clothes to the glassware, everything was perfect.

Backyard Wedding Rentals
We sourced all of our rentals from Coastal. They were able to add a touch of elegance to our Eastern Shore/ Boho wedding. Zach was so incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and made many necessary recommendations. On the day of my wedding I could not have been happier with how everything-from the tent, to the bars, to the chairs and especially the lighting looked. I highly recommend Coastal Tented Events!

I Got This!
I can’t say enough about the service and professionalism of Zach and his crew! And the final product truly speaks for itself. Due to the threat of a major storm we had to make last minute adjustments to the location of the tent. No problem! The walls went up and then the storm took a turn AWAY from us. Can we take the walls down now? No problem! Zach came out the morning of the wedding took them down! His “I got this attitude” kept us all relaxed!

Zach is The go to man at the company. He's extremely skilled and experienced and therefore helps mitigate those possible last minute things. He's also very creative and can help you make your vision into reality. He was a complete pleasure to work throughout the planning. The crew he sent was outstanding. Very efficient and effective. Amazing Service and they cover ALL of the bases!
We had the pleasure of working with Zach for our September beach wedding in Ocean City MD. They covered the tents, the tables, even the ovens that were used to cook the food! They strung up such beautiful lights inside the tents and coordinated so perfectly with out florist. People were really blown away how it all came together and Zach and crew had a lot to do with that. They were there the day before to set up, and we watched them the next day dismantle the entire thing in the rain. So much hard work involved and we couldn't be more grateful.

Awesome customer service!
I reached out to Coastal Tents when I thought I was having my wedding in DE. I was emailing with Kathy Saulino and she was SO helpful. She helped me think of ideas, placement, measurements, really anything and everything I needed. I ended up changing the location of my wedding to Virginia. Kathy still was willing to help me with ideas! I have not come across any rental company that was willing to help out as much as Coastal Tents was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great experience!
My husband and I used Coastal for our wedding on the beach in July 2018. We were extremely happy with how everything turned out. Zach was great to work with, very personable and flexible. It was obvious right from the beginning that he wanted to make sure our day was exactly what we were hoping it would be. My husband built a bar (extremely heavy) for our reception. Even though it was not part of our contract Zach and his team jumped right in with their equipment to help get it across the sand and set up. They were even able to build us a walk way and dance floor right on the sand! Zach worked directly with our caterer and venue flawlessly. We feel very lucky to have worked with Coastal for our big day!

A wonderful team!

Zach and his crew were amazing. Zach was helpful, engaged, responsive - he and his guys really helped make a magical day extra special. The tent was absolutely stunning, especially as the sun went down and the lights came on. And we had a big live band, which called for extra services by way of generators, space and a large dance floor - he accommodated us easily and happily. I wish I had pictures available - when we get them, we'll post. Highly recommend!

The whole team did an amazing job with my rentals. We had to change the order around multiple times and troubleshoot because of some venue changes. Zach was professional and always had a solution. Load in and out went smooth. Tent turned out great and linens were clean and pressed. Excellent job! Highly recommend.

Coastal Tented Events hung the lighting for my son's wedding. The transformation from a plain old firehall to a beautiful, twinkling atmosphere was amazing. Working with Coastal Tented Events was probably one of the best parts of planning my wedding. They made organizing all of my rentals (which were A LOT) a total breeze. I worked directly with Zach....who probably hated me by the end...because I was adding things to the list up until the week of the wedding. But every time I wanted to add something, had questions or concerns, Zach emailed or called me back right away and reassured me that it was going to be fine...and it was....it was beyond fine...it was an ABSOLUTE DREAM. From start to finish, I loved everything about the process and the organization of Coastal Tented Events. Renting a tent, chairs, a bar, tables, linens, plates, cups, silverware (and much, much more) could have turned into a nightmare but it honestly couldn't have been easier. This team of employees knows EXACTLY what they are doing and it was perfection. I highly recommend them if your rentals is something you don't want to be stressed out about leading up to your big day. Thank you again Zach for everythign you did. It was everything we could have hoped for and more.

Coastal Tented Events was the perfect venue for our tent wedding in Southern Delaware. We worked with Zach from the beginning and he was extremely responsive, easy to work with, and understood our vision from the start. He not only was helpful with the services he provided, but he guided us to finding the perfect venue for our tent wedding. Zach was extremely accommodating for any contract changes up until the big day and was very detailed and organized throughout the process with all the little items that needed to be accounted for, especially with a weather contingency plan. He was extremely experienced and professional in tented weddings. His crew did a perfect job at setting everything up and even transferring the ceremony chairs to the reception test seamlessly while at the cocktail hour. The lighting details looked so beautiful throughout the night. I had full trust that when the wedding day arrived, it would be exactly as we had envisioned and we were extremely thrilled! Zach from Coastal Tented Events is beyond amazing! He was unbelievably helpful from our first meeting with him up until the night of our wedding. My husband and I got married this past summer at the Indian River Lifesaving Station and Zach and the whole company helped us create the wedding of our dreams. Throughout the whole planning process Zach was always available to help us with any questions or concerns. He is incredibly knowledgeable about everything from different venues in the area, the tents the company offers, the chairs and tables, and everything in between. In addition to that, Zach has an amazing rapport with so many different vendors in the area. With our wedding being a tented event, we had a lot of vendors to help us make our day what it was. Coastal Tented Events really went above and beyond to make our non-traditional wedding spectacular! While our wedding was not at a typical venue and our needs were very unique, Zach and his team really made our wedding day vision come to life. Zach helped brainstorm ideas on decor and provided whisky barrels and a cherry top bar to really enhance the space. Many guests were in awe of the decor and said they had never been to such a wonderfully creative wedding. It was truly a collaborative effort and our wedding wouldn't have been so amazing without them. They offer so much more than just tents and tables. I can not say enough great things about CTE. Zach was beyond helpful with every step of my wedding planning. I had an outdoor ceremony and tented reception at a private residence. The location of where the ceremony and reception was going to be on the property changed at least 3 times and every time Zach went right along with it and had suggestions for each spot. His response to emails and questions was always within 24 hours and he never missed a single detail. He helped me with things I hadn't even considered. As for the rentals, a review doesn't give what they provide justice. Everything from the chairs to the light bulbs was beautiful. I got more compliments on the sail cloth tent than I did on anything else! From setup before the wedding to the take down after, the crew was extremely professional and courtesy. I would recommend using CTE for any and every wedding need you may have!!

Costal Tented Events provided rentals for both my rehearsal dinner and my wedding. Kathy was so easy to work with and incredibly responsive as we had to make several changes to our order during the planning process. Our rehearsal dinner was at my parents house and both set up and take down were exactly on time and quick. They even provided all of our rentals a day early so we didn't have to rush on the day of to set up the rest of the party. I would highly recommend Coastal Tented Events, their service was flawless.

Zach and his team were absolutely wonderful and remained so, under the incredibly stressful situation of having to move our venue three days prior to our wedding due to the Nor'ester that settled over the region, keeping a hurricane out to sea. He worked closely with our caterer and new venue to keep things coordinated and organized, working all hours and outside the box to keep our vision as close to our original as possible. The weekend was complete chaos because of the weather and several other weddings/events that were also displaced, but Zach remained constantly in touch, responsive and he made us feel like our event was one he was creating for family, not strangers. I would not hesitate to use Coastal Tented Events and Zach's team again and I will definitely recommend them to anyone I hear of planning an event in the DE/MD coastal area. Inside or outside. GREAT JOB!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

This was our second rehearsal dinner at our home in Rehoboth during 2015. Coastal Tented Events provided tent, tables, chairs and table coverings for both events. Kathy offers excellent advice on many event planning details beyond the scope of rented party gear. Everyone there is so helpful in planning and so flexible with changes. They're geniuses at maximizing coverage in small back-yards. The delivery and set-up is done on-time and with great efficiency. Same with take-down. I'll be using them again for a "no-reason party" next summer, and for other gatherings in the future.

Zack was great from start to finish with our wedding. He worked with me via email in a timely manor and answered all my questions right away. We wanted pale mint, pale pink, and white Chinese lanterns to hang on the strings of lights and he directed us to a website that sells them cheap to help us save some money. He even hung them for us the day of the wedding for no additional fee. They came to set up the day before and even came back to hang the lanterns the day of so that they would not get ruined with the damp ocean air. They have a back up plan in case of rain and from start to finish the tent and lighting was never even a thought in our minds, which is a great thing during your wedding day! I would recommend them to anyone needing help with any kind of event.

Kathy at Coastal Tented Events was fabulous to work with. She was very quick to respond to any of my questions and concerns, she made all the changes as requested to the contract and met with us at our reception site to go over all the details and ensure our vision was brought to life. The set up and take down crew were very efficient and ensured everything was in the correct place and set up as desired. The tent and lightining were fantastic and we received many compliments. Coastal Tented Events is definitely the place to go for all your rental needs.

Zach was great to work with from the beginning stages of planning my wedding up until the day of. When I first contacted him I knew I wanted a beach wedding but couldn't figure out a location and the logistics. Zach was kind enough to answer questions I had regarding different locations even though he really didn't have to. He always got right back to me via email, which was much appreciated. We thankfully didn't need a tent from him the day of the wedding since it didn't rain but the chair setup and sand ceremony table with tablecloth and sash looked beautiful! He even helped with a few DIY things that needed to be set up at the last minute, which was very kind, since we were in a time crunch. Since he's worked with my florist on many other events, they managed to set up very quickly, but everything was just how I envisioned. Thanks to Zach and Coastal Tented Events for helping make my wedding day perfect!

If you are looking for any rental needs in the Ocean City/Rehobeth Beach area go here! I can not begin to explain just how amazing they were to deal with. We worked with Kathy on everything that we needed for our big day and she was simply amazing! The night before our wedding we noticed we were missing one small item and no sooner did I call Kathy did she show up at our venue within the hour to deliver it! And bonus, didn't charge us for it! Our tent looked amazing with the lighting underneath that just made everything so romantic! They were the best price in the area and really easy to work with. I think Kathy stressed for me since I didn't feel any pressure!

Service was fantastic. I met with Kathy to go over the lay out we were looking for months before our wedding. She is on point with checking to make sure you have everything you need the day of so you don't have anything to worry about! Day of wedding her staff was fantastic and very efficient at bringing in all the tables and chairs, plates and silverware and setting up the fantastic lighting. We were more then ecstatic about the outdoor lighting! the outdoor California style lighting made my outdoor reception! Highly recommend for anyone doing an outdoor reception without a tent!

Zach and everyone at Coastal Tented Events were amazing! From the moment we reached out to them we felt taken care of. The process of planning our event details, which can be painstaking, became easier, thanks to these guys. They were quick to respond and it was so easy to make adjustments as our plans evolved. We can truly say that Zach and the guys at Coastal helped shape our day into the perfect event. Zach, in particular, made noticeable effort to give us exactly what we wanted. We felt as if he was taking as much time with us as if it were his own wedding (he actually got married on the same day - CONGRATS AGAIN!). With that being said, the day of his own wedding rehearsal, he made the effort to meet us at the venue to ensure everything was what we wanted. Needless to say, these guys rock!

Our homecoming party for our son's return from Afghanistan was a great success, thanks in large part to the great tenting services provided by Coastal Tented Events. Cathy perfectly determined what would work best for the seating area for our BBQ guests as well as a tent area for our bar and to provide shade and resting places while socializing. They arrived on time, set up quickly and returned after the event removed their equipment and left my home just the way they found it. Would use them again in a heartbeat and gladly recommend them.

I have had Coastal Tented Events do several events. Each time the tent was been perfectly and responsibly put up, looks great, and has met my needs. I called everywhere looking for the perfect place to rent a tent for my wedding. And when I called tented events and Kathy answered She was the sweetest lady. Everyone else told me it was going to be days before I could get a quote but she sent me one within a half hour. She also was very personable and actually seemed interested in my event unlike other companies I talked to. Kathy also had answer to every question and gave my alternate lighting ideas that really worked out. When it was times meet at the event site to map everything out she even brought my daughters fresh baked cookies! They are also very flexible with set up times. We requested that our tent be set up the morning before our wedding and joe and his crew showed up and had it up in a few hours! Everything from them turned out perfect and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to do your event. They may be a smaller company than most but their customer service puts them ahead of their competitors!!
