Adam was awesome through the entire planning process and the day of our wedding!! He provided all sound equipment for both our ceremony and reception, both of which went great, even with a last minute move of the ceremony due to the weather. He was very professional and personable during our planning facetime calls, walked us through what we needed to choose while giving us great suggestions, and was flexible with all of our specific song and genre requests. He was on point with all anouncements throughout the night. He fit our exact wedding vibe as requested both in outfit and personality! He kept the party going all night just as we requested, had great energy, and made sure that all of our guests had a great time! Adam kept the dance floor full the whole night, which was exactly what we asked for!!!! He even went above and beyond by lining up our huge bridal party before the introductions and getting everyone together, which was not his job. We highly recomend, as would any of our guests!!
We had a great experience working with him, and after speaking with many other friends who have also gotten married in the past 2 years, he is by far the best Wedding DJ around. -

My husband and I are so glad that we chose Adam to DJ our wedding in July 2024! We connected with Adam in the summer of 2023 and it was immediately clear that he was very passionate and professional about his work. It was also clear that his main goal was to ensure that we felt comfortable and happy; he did all he could to personalize not only our communication, but our “special” songs, and our vision.This being my first time really thinking through a wedding, Adam asked the right questions (that my husband and I certainly did not think of) to get us considering the flow of not only the dancing portion of our wedding, but the ceremony and other elements of the reception. His experience really allowed him to see the big picture and prompt us gently but strategically to make important decisions that dictated the flow of our special day. We had several touch points with Adam leading up to the wedding and I was so impressed with and comforted by how thorough and detail-oriented he was with our evolving plan. We always scheduled our next check in at the end of our calls, and had very clear and open lines of communication. Leading up to our wedding, we felt that Adam was really preparing for our special requests. For example, we wanted to be introduced to the 1990’s Chicago Bulls introduction theme song (LOL) and Adam studied up on the intonation of the announcer and absolutely rocked it. On the day of the wedding, Adam arrived early to set up, was completely chill but also directive around keeping the flow of the day going; he also worked so well with the event coordinator. I am SO glad that we found CNY Sound - every element of Adam’s preparation leading up to and delivery on the day of made him the best possible choice! -

He has room in the program for all the classic wedding moments you want (and will happily cut any you don’t) and can work in any special local, cultural, or family traditions you can think of. Adam with CNY sound was a pleasure to work with for our wedding this June! The music for my wedding was the thing I was the most picky about, and I really wanted a lot of control with the songs that were played throughout the day. Adam was very receptive to this and let us have free reign of the playlists while still providing helpful suggestions and playing the songs in an order that made sense. It was a very collaborative experience, and you could tell he really wanted to make sure we were happy with the music. Adam scheduled multiple meetings with us before the wedding to touch base and make sure he had everything lined up exactly how we wanted it. On the wedding day, he absolutely killed it and everyone had so much fun on the dance floor! He was a great hype man, and brought such fun energy to the reception. He was super organized and reviewed all the details with our bridal party and venue coordinator as many times as we need him to. Also, we had asked him to only accept song requests from the bride and groom, and he stood his ground which we appreciated! Some DJs want to take a lot of creative control when they play events, but Adam completely understood that this was our wedding, not his concert lol. We would recommend CNY to anyone who wants their specific vision executed perfectly! Thanks again Adam! -

Adam was GREAT to work with!! From the moment my husband and I first spoke to him, we knew we were in good hands. He had the perfect balance of working with whatever ideas we had regarding music, announcements, etc., with giving suggestions on what he thought would work best during the ceremony and reception. He was extremely communicative, kept to his appointment times/calls, and truly kept our wedding day fun and lively with his great energy and stellar personality. Adam was extremely thorough, thoughtful, and has a high attention to detail. He met with us several times in person as well as a few calls to make sure the day and music were structured just right. When the day came, it couldn't have gone smoother. He did a great job playing songs that got people out of their seats, and hosting fun games throughout the night to keep people engaged. Adam is a true professional, and I highly recommend him if you are looking for a DJ that will make your wedding unforgettable! -

We recommend CNY sound after having Adam at our wedding! He was able to get us organized in our short time frame with a shared google doc to make sure we had everything we wanted laid out and remove anything that we didn't want to do, so we could customize our reception and make it our own!
CNY Sound biggest advantage over their competition is that Adam is committed to his clients and will stay for the duration of your wedding, so there is no point were the party ends because the DJ has to leave.
During our event, Adam was great at reading the crowd and being flexible when we changed our mind on a few things as the night progressed. He really understands how to keep the night running smoothly, how to please guests of all ages, and make the bride and groom the #1 priority from start to finish!

Adam lived up to everything that we wanted done from a DJ at our wedding. He made every aspect of planning and day of coordination so simple. His choice of music for our reception was spot on and our request for him to do "walk up" songs for our bridal party was absolutely spot on. We can't say enough good things about our DJ/MC, Adam. VWe had a long engagement and hired him early on. He was extremely communicative throughout the entire engagement and met with us as many times as we needed to fully understand our vision, as music is extremely important to both of us. Adam was well organized, timely, flexible, experienced, and a total pleasure to work with. On the wedding day he did an immaculate job of reading the crowd and playing what they were responding to. He did not miss a beat, and even though we only had 40 guests, we had a packed dance floor all night. Having been to several weddings recently, can objectively say that Adam did a better job of smoothly mixing the music, balancing guest requests with what we wanted, and just overall setting the tone for the party than we've seen at any other wedding in recent memory. Adam's skill as a DJ/MC is only matched by his genuine kindness and charisma. He went above and beyond when he overheard my young nephew talking about a problem he was having with his guitar, and took the time to have a conversation with my nephew about it and made some troubleshooting suggestions. He also stayed back at the end and helped us out with anything we needed. I'd hire Adam again for all my DJ needs, and recommend you do too!
