  Talented and versatile

  When we finally decided to have our destination wedding to Colorado we knew we needed Cloud9 strings to play at our wedding. Best decision ever! We hired cloud9 strings to play for our cocktail hour and dinner reception at the Broadmoor. I’m still in amazement how beautiful they played ALL of our music selections. They are definitely very talented and versatile group of musicians. They are also very easy to work with and has wide variety of songs they can play for you! Thank you Cloud9 strings for setting an elegant ambiance to our wedding and I’m so glad I was able to have a recording of y’all while we out out during the cocktail hours. I can listen to y’all over and over again for days!

  They learned a song just for us!

  My husband and I LOVED having Cloud 9 Strings at our wedding and during cocktail hour. We had a Harry Potter-themed wedding at the Daniels and Fisher Clocktower in Downtown Denver and they LEARNED THE HARRY POTTER THEME SONG JUST FOR US!!!! That alone was incredible, but their talents can't be understated. From the moment our guests arrived, they were immersed in the magical world.

  Exactly what we'd hoped for!

  I really wanted a string quartet for our wedding ceremony music, but my husband is more of a rock and roll kind of guy. We were so excited to discover Cloud 9! The string quartet played for both our ceremony and cocktail hour, and the mixture of rock and pop song selections was a big hit with our guests. Shelley was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire booking process, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the talent and professionalism of the musicians. Hiring Cloud 9 String Quartet was one of the best wedding planning decisions I made!

  We booked a string trio through Cloud 9 Strings and we are so happy we did! They made our wedding ceremony absolutely beautiful and set the mood for a romantic and intimate wedding.

The hour and a half of live music was definitely one of my favorite parts of the whole day! It was so beautiful, and all four musicians were smiling and energetic the whole time. Every song they played was both catchy and romantic. Cloud 9 Strings is the best!

  Cloud 9 Strings Created a Beautiful Wedding Atmosphere

  Since we were having an outdoor ceremony, we wanted the right music to match the location. We are so happy that Cloud 9 Strings was available and willing to drive to the venue. Daniel and Anna Leavitt are true professionals and understand how to be flexible and meet the needs of their clients. Their classical quartet music made the ceremony special and our guests enjoyed their versatility of musical styles during the cocktail hour following the ceremony. We enjoyed them and they enjoyed being with us. My only regret is that I didn't have more time to enjoy listening to them! We highly recommend them for your special event.

  Beautiful!

  Cloud 9 was fantastic for our wedding! We had planned for a trio, but then wanted to adjust to a quartet because of the songs we wanted and they we very flexible on that. We had them play for the ceremony and the cocktail hour and we and our guests loved it! Shelley was our point of contact and she was responsive, professional, and easy to work with. I'd definitely recommend them!

  Beautiful, Professional and Exquisite

  Cloud 9 was absolutely amazing! We had a custom piece arranged for the wedding, and we could not have been happier. They were beyond professional and were completely brilliant on our wedding day. They added the perfect ambiance to the day. We cannot recommend Cloud 9 enough!

  Elegant and simple touch!

  Everyone at Cloud 9 was super easy to work with and very professional. And they drove all the way to Avon on a Friday! My guests were very complimentary of the beautiful music during our ceremony and cocktail hour! Thank you for helping to make our special day exactly as I envisioned!!

  Cloud 9 Strings have some heavenly talent! They persevered and played outdoors in spite of chilly fall weather, and then they moved indoors and they ROCKED! No matter what they were asked to play from classical to rock, they dazzled the guests! Thank you!

  Talented Group Open to Special Requests

  Cloud 9 String Quartet was awesome! They learned some special music to accommodate my son-in-law's request and took the time to learn an original piece of music composed by his brother. This was all flawlessly coordinated by their manager, Shelley. On the day of the wedding (which was held in Colorado Springs) the weather was cold, windy and snowy. Although the Cloud 9 group had to commute from Denver, they arrived on time and were flexible with our changing arrangements. While the ceremony took place on an outside patio with heaters, blankets and hot drinks (so cozy, especially when the snow started to fall!) they played inside to protect their instruments from the cold, just on the other side... I appreciated the fact that they were all so cheerful and kind. As a violinist myself, I was impressed with the talent of the Cloud 9 quartet and I highly recommend the group if you want to add some style and class to your event!

  Cloud 9 was the worst of all our vendors to work with.

  I DO NOT recommend booking with Cloud 9! Communication and organization was extremely lacking. My planner will be taking them off her recommendations list.

I expressed discontent in a professional manner, but begrudgingly stated that we would figure something out in the next 10 days. Later I was told that someone had complained to my planner that I was a “challenging bride to work with.”
  
  On our wedding day, we had friends set up a large, aesthetically pleasing umbrella, but when I arrived at the ceremony venue, it had been pushed aside and an ugly tent had been erected in addition. Combined, the umbrella and tent took over half of the ceremony space. The chairs had also been rearranged without our consent. When it was time for me to walk with my father, the musicians were not playing the correct song. I had to wave down our photographer to ask them to play the processional song.
  
  The cherry on top was when all 4 musicians stood up and left 30 minutes before the end of cocktail hour. Our contract stated that the end time was 7:30, but at 7:00 I looked over and saw 4 empty chairs. Luckily our DJ stepped in with a portable speaker.

  I have no idea how cloud 9 is because we hired them and signed a contract and they sent to us for our wedding somebody else.!!! Terrrible!! They played 2 out of the 10 songs requested and 1 of them was played over and over and again and again. Sounded like beginners .
