After months of searching for a photographer, we came across Cliff's website and decided to meet with him to discuss our wedding. From our first meeting, we were sold and knew that Cliff was just right for our celebration. Cliff has been in this business for a long time and you can tell it in the way that he manages the entire day. We had a wedding coordinator, but Cliff also served as one - corraling guests, keeping time and ensuring that our stress levels were kept at a minimum. He and his amazing assistant were patient, but assertive and made sure we got great shots even with a time crunch. I'm excited that we were able to work with Cliff and hope to do business with him in the future.

I hired my photographer through George Street Photos (as well as my videographer)... Although i was not happy with George street for many reasons, they did bring me Cliff! Cliff was amazing! He kept me calm throughout the entire day and helped the day run smooth, I guess you could consider him a day of wedding planner! :) The power went out in our church which caused the ceremony to start 45 minutes late. I was stressed and tried to cancel the wedding party photos due to time (I was worried about my guests) but Cliff wouldn't let me. He said just leave it to me, I got you! And I had a large bridal party, so time was not on our side, but needless to say, Cliff was able to wrangle the entire party and capture some amazing shots despite the lack of time we had. He was professional and reliable and the photos for the entire day turned out amazing! He was able to capture every moment that my videographer failed to capture and I am so thankful for that! Cliff did such an amazing job that he has now become our family photographer!

I am very disappointed in this vendor's services. We purchased his most expensive package. My pictures were ok, but we did not get everything that we paid for. When we asked for a refund of the items not received, he gave me a lot of excuses and said we could take him to court if we wanted to. He also offered a print credit to us, but why in the world would we use this when he can't even complete the tasks that he was contracted to do? We had to write a certified letter to get him to send the album layout, and we still don't have the album. He is very unresponsive and makes promises he can't keep. And his assistant took better pictures on our wedding day. There are better priced photographers in Atlanta that provide a much higher level of service.

    Cliff Robinson Photography's reply:

In 10 years of wedding photography service, I have two negative reviews to account for. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion and as a bride your opinion is very important. The issue between this bride and my company is that she feels that I didn’t produce quality images or her album in a timely manner. The image quality, I am not going to address. As for the wedding album, this was partially due to the break down in communication between the both of us. I don’t send albums to be printed until the couple gives me the “green light”. There was an issue in getting her the album layout via email, so I sent it to her in the mail. As for the court comment, I did not tell her to take me to court. She threaten me with legal action and I simply responded by saying that she had every right to do so if she feels warranted. I didn’t find it reasonable to give any type of refund for something that wasn’t solely my fault. Even though both parties had partial ownership in this dispute, I took the high road and upgraded their wedding album and provide additional prints for their inconvenience in the amount I thought was more than fair.

I could continue listing the complaints from the review and dispute each one in detail, but I rather let you view the images and make you own decision. Every image on my blog is an image that I photographed. Below is a link to the blog I posted a couple days after the wedding.

I take pride and comfort in knowing that at the end of the day, I provide the best service available. I don’t take your trust for granted. If you would like to see the full wedding spread, just respond and I will provide you a link the entire wedding gallery. If you still feel that the bride has merit, don’t hire me. If there is a moment of uncertainty, contact me, meet me and make your own decision.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

We chose Cliff Robinson of Bowtie Photography and thought he would be a great match for us on our wedding day. I have never been more let down by a vendor in my life. He was unprofessional, lacked creativity, lied to us on more than one occasion, and produced low quality photos. He arrived over an hour late resulting in 99% of our portraits being taken after the ceremony. Becuase we spent some much taking family phots and Party photos ( we only took two of the whole party ( only one is decent), two of me and my maids, one of my groom and the maids and none of me and the men) WE ONLY HAVE THREE PORTRAITS OF ME AND MY GROOM!!!!! None of them are to write home about. We have a print credit with our package and I honestly don't want prints of 20 of these images. He didn't take any pictures of my groom's face as I entered the church/ walked down the ailse, all of the images during the ceremony are very zoomed out or blurry, a ton of blurry images and images with random objects cluttering the background. All of the family photos are disorganized, family memebers aren't standing near the correct people or are different distances apart. I have actually cried when looking at my wedding photos. You would be better having your grandmother take a bunch of pictures than hiring him for your day.

    Cliff Robinson Photography's reply:

There should never be a moment during or after a wedding that the bride find herself in tear because of a vendor, especially the photographer. According to the associated review, I have been name as a culprit in this action toward this bride. Since the day I was made aware of this review 2 years ago, I have read it and empathized with the bride. The couple hired me through Bella Pictures. I believe everyone is entitled to his or her own opinions regardless of how I feel. I only want an equal opportunity to address the concerns of this bride. I waited this long to respond because I didn’t agree with how my company was portrayed and I didn’t want to create an arena for negative debating. I hope this will help put to rest any concerns about my intentions, my integrity, and my professionalism.

I could list the complaints and dispute each one in detail or explain why the bride feels that I was “unprofessional, lacked creativity, lied to us on more than one occasion, and produced low quality photos but I rather let you view the images and make you own decision.
