Beyond amazing

Cleo is THE BEST hair and makeup artist out there. She is so talented and SO sweet to work with. An incredible pleasure and truly was so much fun to have as a part of my team on my wedding day. Just the best!

Cleo was seriously amazing. She got to the hotel on time and made us all look beautiful. We were a bit behind schedule but she still worked really fast and even did the hair for my mom, which was not part of the plan. And she did it all with a smile. She was always gracious and kind and really made me feel so comfortable. She’s worth every dollar!

Cleo was incredible! She did the hair and makeup for myself and the bridal party on 7/13/18. Hands down all of my bridesmaids said it was the best makeup they have ever had done (and they've all been married and in multiple weddings). I, the bride, have never felt more gorgeous and flawless in my entire life. Cleo was wonderful about delivering exactly the look you wanted and was open to changing something if it wasn't how you wanted it. Cleo and Angie, who helped with hair, were so talented and also friendly. It's important to have fun for the hours that you are getting ready with your bridal party, and Cleo won't let you down! She also stayed around for a few extra hours to do touch-ups if needed during/after our photos so we would all be flawless right before the ceremony. Our hairstyles involved intricate braids and curls, and Cleo/Angie nailed it! Seriously, you have to pick Cleo!

I was having a lot of trouble searching for someone who can do African American makeup. I have darker complexion and often times makeup artists are not able to match and blend appropriately to make my skin look natural. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across Cleo's website. She had extensive work that included women of color and I really liked what I saw. I emailed her immediately to ask about her services and pricing. She replied very quickly with all of the information and I was able to set up my trial. She was very professional and you can tell that she is very passionate about her craft. I fell completely in love with her work and booked her in March for my November 11 wedding. I got airbrush for myself and traditional for my bridesmaids and mother. She did a great job on all of us. My makeup lasted throughout the evening. She even gives you a little touch up bag for the day of. She is truly the best and I'm so happy that I was able to work with her. I recommend her 1000%!!

Cleo and her team were amazing! They made all of the girls in my wedding party look and feel so beautiful! Cleo helped us get ready for my rehearsal dinner and wedding night. Both nights she did an amazing job. Cleo can do any kind of hair style/make-up look that you want. She did a really good job doing a natural/bridal look for my wedding and highlighting my best features. The make-up and hair lasted through the entire wedding night, rain, dancing, etc. Cleo is also extremely professional, kind, calm, and caring. She helps you feel calm, beautiful, and ready for your big day. I would highly recommend her to help you get ready for any special occasion!

I looked beautiful on my big day, not only cause my husband couldn't stop telling me but because I really felt that way. Claudia understood what I wanted and understood my fears of too much make up since I'm not a make up person. She did more than I expected, took her time with me and made me feel relax on the day I needed it more. I looked at my pictures and only Joy comes to me. I can't wait to have another big event to hire her again. She is truly an artist. And If you are thinking of hiring her you will not regret it. She is amazing!!!!

Cleo saved my wedding day!! As a bride, you have a lot of vendors to find, and the most shocking thing I learned in finding vendors, was that most makeup artists are self-absorbed divas. They are unresponsive, and act like you as the client are unimportant. Most don’t answer the phone, and many take 24-48 hours to even respond. I had a makeup artist do an ok job on my trial, so I asked them to do a second trial. They showed up 2 hours late, I couldn’t get ahold of them, and they kept my deposit! The reason I am starting off this way, is to tell you that most makeup artists are not professional, and you really need to be extremely picky about who you hire as a makeup person. But amidst all of this unfortunateness, THERE IS CLEO! Cleo is second to none, and is beyond special. First of all, she answered the phone when I called. I reached out to countless makeup artists and she was the only one who answers her phone. Second, she is a true talent. She did my makeup so beautifully at my trial, and she listens to whatever you need or ask. Any suggestions I had, she understood and worked with. Third, she is great with follow up. Regardless of the questions I had, she was in touch with me right away. Fourth, she loves what she does, and it shows. You feel her positive energy and you can’t help but feel fabulous around her. Fifth, she made my wedding day amazing! She showed up early, my makeup was flawless, my makeup lasted for 13 hours with ease, she even gave me a touchup kit, and most of all, she made me feel gorgeous. She also did a beautiful job with my mother’s makeup, making her look 10 years younger! Cleo is the most amazing makeup artist that exists and is such beautiful person to work with, inside and out. There is none better than Cleo Jorge!

Cleo was very thorough with the whole process of doing my hair and makeup for my wedding day by having a trial run in advance of my big day. She was also very accommodating in driving all the way from Fort Lauderdale up to Jupiter for my wedding day preparations. All of my friends were saying how great that my makeup was. I think I'm in love. Seriously. Cleo was more than I could have ever expected. First of all, she made me feel like a high fashion model! She did such an excellent job with my hair and make up. The photographs of our wedding are astonishing. But more than just making me look like a dream, she was invaluable as I was getting ready. At one point in my room, my bridesmaids were steaming dresses, the photographers were looking for my wedding incidentals, my maid of honor had forgotten her earrings, and everyone was asking me questions! It was one of those moments, and Cleo put her hand on my shoulder, told me to breath, and then told them all it will be fine. She calmed the room in 15 seconds. Her presence in the chaos made everything seem totally cool.

When selecting a vendor for your hair and make up, you must consider a couple of things. One, is she going to make you look and feel beautiful? The answer is ABSOLUTELY YES!!! Two, with what kind of person do you want to spend the hours before your wedding? The answer is Cleo. Her professionalism, her spirit, her attitude, everything. You will not find a better person.

Cleo is fabulous. She is kind, talented, and professional. She did my makeup and hair for my wedding on December 29, 2016. I must say, I looked flawless. I did not want tons of makeup. Cleo worked with me to make sure I was comfortable with the amount of makeup she applied. The final result was exactly what I wanted. Cleo is the best. Hi all, to me was a pleasure to work with Cleo and Staff they did my hair and make up for my wedding together with my party of 10!!! Cleo is absolutely the very best! Both herself and her team did hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, my mother and even my grandmother a total of 11 woman and one adorable flower girl. I honestly have never seen anyone look more gorgeous than my bridal party did! Usually there is one person that isn't happy with their hair or makeup, but all 10 woman were extremely happy with the way they looked! Cleo is very professional, organized and always on time! I got married on March 28, 2015 in Fort Lauderdale. As I live in Atlanta, planning a wedding remotely can be quite stressful. I contacted Cleo for hair and makeup for myself, 4 bridesmaids, mom and step mom. She promptly responded with all of her information and a timeline for the wedding day. She and her team arrived on time and with all the tools. We felt like movie stars! Cleo and her team were AMAZING! Each of my bridesmaids and mothers looked fabulous (beautiful and elegant hair and stunning makeup). Cleo took extra time on me and I have never felt more beautiful. My niece (age 7) was in the room from start to finish and Cleo (being so sweet) even applied a little makeup on her. She felt like a princess. Cleo and her team are talented, creative, professional and truly kind. It was such a pleasure and highly recommend her services!!

We had a destination wedding in Fort Lauderdale and we didn’t travel to the location prior to the wedding. I found all my vendors online and vendor reviews by other brides helped me a lot!
Cleo and her team did the hair for myself, my bridal party and close family. Cleo also did the makeup for my sister in law and maid of honor. Everybody was super satisfied and everybody looked gorgeous! =)
Cleo is extremely professional. Regarding my hair, I didn’t have time for a trial, and she made a point of going to the hotel prior to the wedding to quickly check in person my hair and discuss which style will work best on the wedding day.
As soon as Cleo arrived on the wedding day, I could notice how much experience she has! She has also a very good vibe, calm and happiness that helps lot when nervous are on the rise while getting ready.
My hair was perfect!
Don’t doubt to book with Cleo for your wedding or other important event!

Cleo made a difference on my wedding. She's not only a true artist, she is a great person with wonderful taste. I loved working with her as a bride because she understood what I wanted, she was patient and she transmitted me peace and made me laugh during the "getting ready" process. She was there for me until I walked down the aisle. Cleo also managed to put together a crew of professionals who took care of my 19 bridesmaids' hair and makeup, and of course, they all looked amazing! Cleo is amazing. During the process of my wedding I try to contact all the vendors months in advance specially the person that makes the magic happen, the Bride's Makeup and Hair artist. Despite all my efforts to find one, this was my biggest challenge. Called people that never answer back, people that only would do hair but no make up or simply considered it to premature to plan, that throw me off... so I was on my own and decided to online search. I found Cleo with incredible reviews. That same day I e-mail her site. Half an hour later her respond with availability, type of service, time frames and others. She is Refreshing, professional and proactive. Cleo is always in communication giving you the confidence. All the things you want. Wedding date arrive. Cleo was amazing! Dealing with her was the easiest part of planning my wedding. She came to my venue one time and was a pleasure to have around. I looked and felt amazing on my wedding day. My hair and make up lasted all day and night.

Cleo Jorge is absolutely amazing!! I have nothing but great things to say about Cleo. She definitely went above and beyond my expectations and made me look and feel like a true celebrity. My makeup and hair were flawless on my wedding day!! I am so happy I found her and I can say that she is not only awesome at what she does but she is also a super sweet person. Cleo jorge is an artist! She had my 7 ladies and my mother looking magazine worthy. She is attentive and was very professional. We loved working with her. I am someone who never wears makeup and I will admit it took me like 10 minutes to get used to the new me. But the photos were beautiful and everyone looked so glamorous. EVEN through the end of the night we all still looked awesome. The only thing that was a teeny stressful was timing. My hair and makeup (i booked them separate) wanted me last so at the end everyone was trying to get that time with me. If I had to do it all over again I would STILL choose her!

Cleo was responsible for the make-up for my entire wedding party, and she did a fantastic job! She paid attention to my concerns as the bride and made me feel very comfortable and calm on the wedding day. She did a wonderful job with the bridesmaids as well as the mothers. All our make-up and hair lasted all night! Her assistants were very professional and talented. She followed the wedding timeline which was crucial given the number of hairs and make-up that had to be finished. I highly recommend her!

Cleo and her assistants were wonderful. They did hair and make-up for myself (the bride) and my bridesmaids as well as some family members. I liked that Cleo was very organized with a timeline before the event date in order to ensure punctuality. Everything went smoothly and on time the day of the wedding because of Cleo's focus on remaining on schedule and providing excellent service.

Cleo is not only a Talented Hair and Makeup Artist but a true Gem to work with.
I had the pleasure of "meeting" her over the phone three weeks before my wedding. I was concerned that on such short notice we wouldn't have time for a trial. The short notice made it difficult to come up with a convenient time for our trial, but Cleo moved her schedule around mine to accomodate me in her own Makeup Studio!
She is super responsive and seemed to always be available, be it on the phone or via email to every question I had.
During the trial, Cleo asked all the right questions and just seemed to "know" what suited me best. In addition she has this very calming demeanor that just set me at ease.
On my Wedding day, her and her team arrived super punctual and worked with all my Bridesmaids to make sure everything was exactly the way I had envisioned. I can't thank her enough for all she did for me for my Big Day. The compliments I received on my hair and makeup are still coming in, and I can't wait to see the photos!

I rarely give 5 stars, but I literally have nothing but fantastic things to say about Cleo. I booked her via email after reading online reviews. Thanks to everyone who took time to write a review on Cleo and helped me find her! I knew I wasn't going to be able to fly out to Ft. Lauderdale for a trial ahead of the wedding and that I'd be meeting her for the first time the morning of my wedding. Here's why I highly recommend Cleo:

-She patiently answered a million of my questions via email and she did it within hours each time. After many emails and one phone call, I booked her.
-Because I had no time to do a trial, she allowed for 3 hours of hair and makeup time for the day of my wedding, in case I didn't like it the first time. She did a fantastic job with the makeup, the hair, the airbrushing - everything! We didn't have to re-do anything, but I appreciated that she scheduled it in just in case.
-She has a great personality -- I found her relaxed and laidback demeanor to be soothing on what can be a stressful day. My 3 sisters were with us as she did my hair and makeup and she joked around with them too and gave them makeup tips.
-She asked for feedback throughout the process to make sure I was happy with what she was doing.
-She gave me a cute little touch-up kit with a compact mirror, lip gloss, lip color and blotting papers.
-She purchases a new tube of waterproof mascara for each client and she gave it to me at the end of our session!
-She uses top brands of makeup.
-She custom-mixed my airbrush foundation to match my skin perfectly.
-She uses false eyelashes made of real hair.
-Her attention to detail is impeccable. She noticed so many little things I didn't! She even contoured my cleavage to enhance "my twins" in photos! :)

I cannot say enough nice things about her. If I know of anyone in South Florida looking for a hair and/or makeup artist, I would recommend Cleo without hesitation.

Cleo is SPECTACULAR. We first worked together for my Engagement photo shoot back in June of 2012. I really wanted a 1950's Pin-up look. After searching on the web and in person for a stylist who could actually capture the look I wanted, I was referred to Cleo. She styled me EXACTLY how I pictured it in my mind. My vision came true. She is super sweet, punctual, and super flexible and open to new ideas. I'd work with her from now on and recommend her to everyone, not just brides.

Cleo Jorge was great! We communicated via e-mail and she always replied promptly to my e-mails. She also called to confirm appointments. Cleo did a trial make up and hair session and she was receptive to a few changes on the wedding day. My make up was very natural looking for a daytime garden wedding but stayed on beautifully till evening. I received lots of great comments on my make up and hair, even from the photographer!

Cleo Jorge is simply the best hair/makeup artist in South Florida!! I ran across her ad in a wedding magazine and I decided to give her a try. WOW! Not only did she do my hair/makeup for my wedding but also my bridal shower. She is so amazing to work with, communicating with her was always so easy! She took her time and was so kind and fun on the day of my wedding 10/27/12 and helped all of the girls relax and feel so at ease. We looked so amazing and the compliments haven't stopped! Cleo is amazing!!!! she is the best make up artist I ever met. I was looking for the best one for my BIG DAY as you only get married once...and I had several trials with different make up artists and I was not satisfied with the results.... I was so happy when I met with Cleo because I know what a profesional make up looks like as I had a modeling agency in the past. My make up was absolutaly amazing and it stayed all night long. I did not need to touch up, only the lip gloss! Cleo also did my mom and my mother in law and they both looked so beautiful. Besides being an amazing and very profesional make up artist Cleo is so sweet, so nice , Cleo has such a great energy and personality that it is wonderful to work with her and believe me ... that kind of person is exactely what you need to work with on your BIG DAY!!!!!

I had only one day off before the wedding but I still had ALOT to do! Didn't go to bed until 2am and woke up at 8 am... Cleo made me look like I was well rested and relaxed! She did an absolutely amazing job on both my hair and makeup... she did exactly what I asked with my hair! I was able to have two different hairstyles... I cant thank her enough for the amazing job she did! My makeup was flawless, my hair was perfect. My maid of honor will be using her services for her wedding next year... Cleo Jorge was not only an amazingly beautiful woman but a true professional artist. Cleo first set up a make up session to see how I wanted to look on the day of my wedding. She is very prompt and always available by email or phone. There was never one doubt in my mind that she was going to deliver anything but perfection.

On the day of the wedding Cleo was at my door and ready to start. She also did hair and makeup for my mother and sister as well. We had the pleasure of working with Cleo for our wedding at the Biltmore in Coral Gables and she was FANTASTIC!
Not only was she professional, she was super flexible. Two of the bridesmaids decided to have hair and makeup done by her at the last minute after seeing the results of the first few.
She handled the last minute additions without a problem and did not loose her cool, a true professional she seems to really care about the people she is working with and makes sure you are completely satisfied with the finished look. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Cleo was a delight to work with! She was very warm and friendly. I loved her work and highly recommend her. The only downfall was that my hair, though I kept it in curlers until right before we started shooting for engagement photo session, fell out within maybe 30 minutes due to the heat and humidity of Fort Lauderdale weather. That's not her fault though.
