  Bridesmaid Dress Alteration

  Erin completed alterations on a couple of bridesmaids dresses for me. The process was super simple, affordable and turn around time was extremely fast! Highly recommend!

  Last Minute Alterations

  I was frantic trying to find someone to alterations for my dress just a few weeks before the wedding and I was recommended to try Clayhouse. Was quite honestly the best decision I could have made. She made me feel so secure that my dress would be fine and be ready before my wedding. I only asked for cups to be sown in but she also found some issues with my bustle. She went above and beyond to make sure my dress was perfect, and it was. For being so last minute, I did not have to worry about a thing. Erin is fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone that needs even the littlest alteration to a major one. You will be worry free and very pleased with the results!!! Thank you Erin!!!!

  Easy and Breezy

  Working with Erin was truly a breeze. Her work is incredible. She did my fitting in a timely matter, any questions I asked she promptly answered which made me feel so good since it's such a big job to fill! From the moment I walked into Clayhouse I knew she would be great to work with. I quickly told all of my friends about Erins' work and how I felt confident leaving my dress with her and the results were AMAZING. I will continue to recommend Clayhouse for all future brides and bridesmaids!

  Highly recommend!

  Words can’t express my gratitude to Erin for transforming my Mom’s 1985 wedding gown into the perfect dress for my own 2017 wedding. Mom’s dress had been folded and tucked away in the attic, but had yellowed with time, and needed substantial mending. Beyond that, I also wanted extensive alterations to update the gown to fit my own personal style, while still keeping the vintage charm of the sweet polka-dot gown. Erin completely understood my vision for the dress, and appreciated the vintage elements. I knew the dress was safe in her hands, and I am still in awe of how she was able to perfectly execute the design I was looking for. With every fitting the gown become more my own, and it was a remarkable experience to be able to watch the transformation unfold as Erin did the meticulous work of removing the sleeves, altering the neckline, repairing lace details and bringing the material back to a sparkling white. Erin also was able to accommodate a need for a small pocket to hold my insulin pump that was hidden, but accessible, in the bustle of my gown – and she sewed in a special “something blue” patch that included both mine and my mom’s wedding dates as a nod to the dress’s story and history! This is truly a family heirloom that will be cherished for generations to come. I would recommend Erin in a heartbeat to any bride looking for alterations to their own gown – such skillfulness in sewing/alterations is difficult to come by to begin with, but couple that with Erin’s careful attention to detail and there truly is no one better!
