Gregory helped make our special day Special!

Music is such a big part of the emotion and memories of a wedding day and Gregory was very conscientious about getting the music and the presentation just right. As a Grammy winning musician and the father of the bride I thought he did an excellent job ! Gregory was professional, knowledgable and very easy to work with. I would hire him for any special event.

Wedding Ceremony

Greg played the music for our wedding processional. He also played the music before the wedding ceremony at our welcome hour. Can’t say enough good things about Greg. We moved our wedding date due to the pandemic and Greg was easy to work with. All of our guests expressed how well the music tied into our wedding ceremony. Greg even learned and played a song by Phish, my wife’s favorite band. I highly recommend hiring Greg.

Great Musician for ANY Event!

Such a special Touch

Gregory was great to work with and really made our ceremony complete. We really wanted something different, apart from the typical ceremony choices and he was so enthusiastic and never made us second guess our decisions. He was professional and really one of the highlights of our day. I would hire him again in a second!

Exactly what we needed!

Gregory was wonderful! He was professional, taking special note of the songs I requested and even learned a new one for our wedding. He even worked through less than desirable weather and a small change in location. The music provided was one of my favorite takeaways from that magical day. Definitely recommend his services!

We love gregory

We had such a great experience working with Gregory. He was very responsive and helpful dealing with the rescheduling in the middle of a pandemic. We had to make lots of changes (dates, venue, etc) and he was very organized with us the whole time. What was really special is his talent. I mentioned that I liked phish and he went ahead and learned a special one without me even asking. He was truly amazing. Thanks Greg!

Beautiful Music!

Gregory plays a wide range of music from classical to pop. He played a solid three hours at our event and was a wonderful accompaniment to the dinner and other events.

We had Gregory perform before, during and after the ceremony during cocktail hour. Gregory was extremely professional. He responded quickly and provided an extensive list of pieces,both modern and classic, he was more than capable of playing . Wedding at Cannon Green

We had a small ceremony at Cannon Green, and he did a great job of playing the variety of music we asked for: some classic rock, Mexican-style guitar, Bryan Adams, etc.

Beautiful, professional, great overall!

Greg was very responsive in our email communication and provided a beautiful selection of music for our ceremony. His services are well -priced for the quality of his performance. He was so professional & easy to work with. We hired a violinist & guitarist to play our pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour. We also rented a microphone & speaker for our officiant. Highly recommend!

Gregory was by far the happiest surprise of our wedding process. He was friendly, professional, incredibly talented, and he went way above and beyond to learn a song I wanted to walk down the aisle to. He made the entire process smooth and seamless, making up for when wedding party walked fast and filling in lag time prior to ceremony start. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone looking for a simply perfect and timeless musician.

We feel very fortunate to have found Gregory to provide music for our wedding ceremony. He was incredibly accommodating and learned additional songs beyond his repertoire for us as well. He was very responsive by email leading up to the wedding date, which we appreciated so much as out-of-state clients planning a destination wedding. Gregory was very cooperative and expanded on the type of music we selected for our dinner party. He played classical and contemporary music and our guests loved it. Our venue was intimate and the music provided was a tasteful accompaniment to our dinner and enhanced the whole experience.

Gregory was absolutely phenomenal to work with! He was instrumental in coming up with the perfect music for our ceremony processional and recessional -- and even played some special songs that weren't listed on his site. Guests all commented on his great and unique sound during the ceremony and cocktail hour. If you're looking for something great, and different than the typical violins, book Gregory!

Gregory played classical guitar music during the cocktail hour after the ceremony and before the reception. He was great to deal with in every way, made it to our venue outside of Charleston in spite of the flooding and played beautifully!

Gregory was amazing in every way. Not only was he communicative and helpful in the planning process but my daughter's wedding took place at a relatively remote spot outside of Charleston the weekend of the "the flood"...a nightmare. I do not know how he got there but he made it and he was great. He played background classical guitar music for one hour immediately after the ceremony before the guests moved into the main tent for the reception.

Gregory was willing to work with us over email (this was a destination wedding for us) to figure out the best music for our ceremony. He accommodated all our requests and was willing to learn new songs by our favorite artist Dave Matthews, to incorporate into the ceremony. The vows were by the ocean and that mixed in with Greg's acoustic guitar stylings really set the magical mood for a memorable day. He has a wide selection of popular and classical music that he already knows and, like I said, if you have a special request, he'll make that happen too! So glad we had him there to play for our wedding!!!

Gregory was wonderful. He learned new difficult music for our ceremony, performed under difficult circumstances on the beach with his new equipment and in low light conditions. Our wedding was on Isle of Palms just before moonrise and just during and after sunset. Gregory did everything beautifully, professionally, with kindness and real flexibility and artistry. Gregory is an awesome guitarist. About two weeks before my wedding I wanted to add in a song and he had never heard it before. He learned it quickly and did a great job. All the music was exactly how I wanted it! I would recommend him to anyone!

Gregory is a really nice guy and a very skilled guitarist. He knows a wide variety of music, and could therefore meet almost anyone's specific needs. Gregory did an amazing job at my wedding and I would happily and readily recommend him to anyone looking for a guitarist. My husband and I got engaged while listening to Marry You by Bruno Mars so naturally we wanted it to be the song playing when we walked down the aisle as husband and wife. Gregory ended up learning the song for the wedding and put his own unique spins on it which made it even more memorable; it even resulted in an impromptu slow dance by us as we were walking out. Gregory was extremely flexible. When the bride was 15+ min late, he simply added some appropriate music to the bride's requests and kept playing. He even got a spontaneous round of applause in the church when he paused.

As wedding planners it's very important to be able to recommend a professional talented musician. Gregory is creative, flexible, easy to work with, and just a great person. He is reliable and his services are affordable. If My husband and I were to get married again I would definitely want Gregory serenading me with his guitar down the aisle. We highly recommend him to our clients!

I manage a business and I contacted Gregory to perform at two private corporate dinners for very important guests. He was extremely professional, in every way, from booking the event, to his attire for the event. His talent was amazing! Our guests were very impressed. He was very agreeable regarding what music to play and where to set up. From owning a business for 40 years, the owner said, "this was the best entertainment we have ever had at an event. I promise I did not just go through and click on all 5's to make this process easy, Gregory is in fact worth every single 5 I gave him. At first we thought ceremony music was an area we could skimp on at our wedding this past summer, boy were we wrong! Beautiful music before and during the ceremony MADE it! Not only did he play beautiful music that fit our taste but he went above and beyond to make sure we were all mic'd up for the event. I had been to a wedding previously where none of the guest could hear any of the ceremony because the officiant, bride, and groom were not mic'd. The entire time guest made comments about how upset they were and I knew I did not want this at our wedding! I reached out to Gregory and he went well beyond any expectations we had. He even bought new mics so that we would be loud and clear for everyone to hear! Great price, great music, and a great guy!! Definitely book him for your next event :)

Gregory was incredible! He was in constant contact with us as we decided what songs would be played. He was helpful in suggesting ideas and open to learning anything new. He made our ceremony so special. I highly recommend Gregory and his services.

Gregory had so many good ideas for music, and knew the right times for playing them before, during, and after the ceremony. He worked with the bride and groom closely and was very involved and agreeable with their choices for music. He was very professional, dressed sharply, and was flexible in scheduling the rehearsal times.

Gregory was an absolutely perfect addition to our intimate ceremony. He was very flexible and open to our wishes and vision for our ceremony and worked with us to select the custom song list. He provided insight to timing of the ceremony components and it all went so unexpectedly well. We had a small outdoor wedding and his music was wonderful. He had the skills and talent to accommodate our non-traditional taste in music.
We could not have asked for better music at our wedding!

Gregory Guay, did an amazing job! He was super easy to work with. I gave him some of my ideas and he brought them to life! He played "somewhere over the rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwoʻole on his very own ukulele! It really added something special to our wedding! Gregory is a wonderful musician!

Gregory was awesome! I would book him again in a heart beat. He was always very good at getting back with us and giving suggestions for music selection. He was even willing to learn a new piece because we requested it. When we had a glitch in the service he picked right up with some light music to keep it from becoming awkward silence. I could not have been happier with his service!

We were very happy with Gregory Guay for the ceremony and cocktail hour music. He was very pleasant to work with and accommodated our request for special music not readily available. He was on time, let us know what he needed, and the music was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

I was impressed with Gregory. He did a great job. We were supposed to have a violinist and classical guitarist, but the violinist didn't show up until after the ceremony was over (due to traffic i believe and this, from my understanding, was very abnormal for this fellow). However, Gregory sounded great, was very professional,on time and he and the violinist played through cocktail hour (they were only scheduled for ceremony) to make up for it. It turned out being great anyway and I was so happy it was my wedding day, I almost didn't notice

Greg is incredibly talented and wonderful to work with! He worked with my husband and I to find songs that would work well for us and that we both loved, which included a song he learned for our wedding. All communication was quick and easy and long before the day of the wedding I felt assured that I had nothing to worry about on the music front. I definitely recommend him for weddings and I can only imagine a similarly fantastic experience with the other services he offers, especially teaching!

The music by Gregory was just what my wedding needed! Gregory was very responsive to my emails and was open to my ideas and excited about my modern choices. Gregory did a great job with our ceremony music. The sound was beautiful in the church. I would highly recommend him to others looking for a classical guitarist.
