Elegance Added!
Classical Choice was AWESOME! The musicians were punctual on set up, and the music was phenomenal. I would work with this vendor again and again! Our guests were blown away by the added layer of elegance brought to our ceremony and cocktail hour by Classical Choice. -

Gorgeous live music made our ceremony so meaningful!
I'm SO happy Classical Choice was able to play for our ceremony! My husband and I are both musicians, so it was important to us to be able to feature live music. Helen and her team were amazing to work with—she sent us a list of demos to choose from, we were able to select which instruments to use, and on the day of, our ensemble was quick and efficient getting set up, which was much appreciated from me as the bride! I seriously can't get over how gorgeous the music was and how much it added to our wedding. It made the ceremony feel timeless and elegant; it was just what I had dreamed of my ceremony being! I can't recommend Classical Choice enough! -

Wonderful classical music!
Helen was so wonderful to work with! She was so informative and answered so many of my questions! The music was absolutely incredible and it made my wedding day feel like a fairytale. I am so incredibly happy that we hired Classical Choice for our big day! -

Perfect for our outdoor wedding
Classical Choice was great! As we replanned our wedding during the pandemic, we had several changes for them in the weeks leading to it, and they rolled with it and were easy to work with. The music was beautiful throughout the night, and the violin and cello were perfect for our outdoor ceremony. -

Beautiful music set the tone of the evening!
We are so glad we picked Classical Choice to play at my daughter's wedding. We decided on 3 string musicians and all of their music was just beautiful. My only regret is that as the Mother of the Bride, I did not get to sit and listen to the music. I would highly recommend Classical Choice for any event! A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ -

Helen was a delight
Helen was incredibly responsive, affordable and helpful when we were determining our wedding ceremony music. She made recommendations for the number of musicians we would need for the space and provided a lengthy list of songs to choose from. The day of, they played beautifully. We would certainly recommend Classical Choice to anyone interested in hiring a string band for their wedding. -

A beautiful addition to our perfect wedding ceremony
Classical Choice gave our ceremony the elegant feel we were looking for. They were always quick to respond to my emailed questions, and played songs we requested that weren't on their initial song list. Our wedding day was perfect, and the ambience that Classical Choice created played a huge part. -

Classical Choice Creates the Perfect Mood, A+ music and service!
Beautiful ensemble creating the perfect mood for our elegant outdoor wedding! I selected all songs, including some that weren't on their demo. From the extravagant to the budget friendly, Classical Choice provided everything I needed for my string ensemble and were very easy to work with! I highly recommend! -

Helen Bohannon of Classical Choice was a dream to work with in putting the final touch on my daughter’s wedding at the Loft. I was looking for a trumpet player for my daughter’s wedding and first spoke with Tim Bohannon. During the stressful time of planning a wedding, none of us had any idea how to handle the music side of things. Fortunately, Tim said his wife organized music for weddings, and the rest is history. Helen was awesome, not only at playing the violin and singing, but with the planning the entire ceremony. They sounded beautiful and we received numerous comments on their music. I highly recommend Helen and Tim for anything musical you may need. They are both professionals! -

Our wedding venue was filled with beautiful music!! I was able to choose from MANY different pieces that were listed on a suggested (but not limited to) list of songs, which I found very helpful. The correspondence with the director prior to our ceremony was well in advance and I received prompt and helpful responses. I would most definitely use Classical Choice for any future event! -

I have known Helen & Lori for several years. Their level of professionalism was one of the first things that impressed me upon our first meeting while in my managerial position as the events coordinator and venue director. Of course their beautiful smiles, warm & accommodating personalities perfectly set the tone also! When planning any special occasion you want the best in the business to be present so as the days that lead up to your event & especially on the day of....you know that without hesitation they are doing their best to make this event a beautiful memory.
Classical Choice brings all these necessary components to each event and more. While providing some of the most angelic sounds through violin,harp,or cello they complete any event to be more like an experience than just music in the background.

Kay performed beautifully for our wedding in Marengo Cave on 9/20/25. She was very flexible and passionate about making our vision for our wedding ceremony come to life. We decided late in our planning to hire professional musicians so hurriedly read various reviews, attended wedding fairs, etc to see what would work for our May 28 wedding at Duncan Memorial Chapel. Classical Choice was easy to work with and agreed to play a favorite Song not on their list, which was a bonus! They were parking and heading in right as we parked and were playing beautiful music for our guests before ceremony, for bridal entrance, and recessional. Don't book these musicians if you want someone who knows the flow of a wedding. These musicians claim to be professionals but my guests thought they were friends of mine who were working for free. Good music, poor timing and it makes for an awkward ceremony. I could've played music over speakers and had better results. -
