Flawless!

Kristi helped to make me feel special and my hair complimented my dress perfectly!! She is so talented! Kristi allowed me to pick the style of my hair and did exactly what I hoped for - it truly made my wedding day complete! My mother, MIL, and bridesmaids looked gorgeous with their hair. We got complimented non-stop. Kristi was extremely organized about planning for us prior to the day of the wedding and she was flexible. She really made me feel at ease with so much to think about. We enjoyed our experience with Kristi very much! I would absolutely recommend them for bridal styles.

I hired Classic Hair and Makeup to do our hair for my wedding and they were Fantastic! All of my brides maids hair looked fantastic along with my own ! It was classic and just elegant! Classic Wedding Hair

I would highly recommend Classic to any bride and her bridal party! Kimberly and Sarah did an awesome job. They listened to exactly what me, my bridal party, mom, and mother in law wanted and delivered. I was in love with my hair and could not have dreamt of anything else.

Talented, Friendly, & Professional!

Kristi & Mary both helped me find the right combination of hairstyle & makeup that I was comfortable with & they made me feel special!! They are both very talented with the styles and trends in the ever changing beauty industry! I thought the lashes, airbrush and color palette Mary chose for my makeup was just the perfect blend!! Kristi allowed me to pick the style of my hair and did exactly what I hoped for!! It made my wedding day complete! My mother,sister and niece looked gorgeous after their hair and makeup . Kristi was extremely organized about planning for us prior to the day of the wedding & she was flexible as well, it made me feel at ease with so much to think about!! We enjoyed our experience in the studio very much! I absolutel recommend them for bridal styles and make up.

Amazing onsite hair and makeup!

Classic salon was absolutely wonderful! We had 10 women getting hair done/5 getting makeup done and this was handled seamlessly by only three members of the salon team. The team came onsite at the Sheraton in Station Square so that we could be comfortable while getting ready together. We had a variety of hair lengths and textures and everyone's hairstyle turned out amazing. In addition to the day of, my included hair and makeup trial was fantastic. I was able to ask all sorts of questions to be prepared for the wedding day and felt assured my hair and makeup would be flawless after the trial looks. Everyone was so friendly and easy to work with! After looking through almost every wedding salon in Pittsburgh, I can say that Classic was one of the best priced and best priced for onsite work, especially after seeing first hand their quality of work!

Kristi (hair) and Mary (makeup) did an AMAZING job on my wedding day. They were so much fun to work with and extremely flexible and adaptable. Although I had my bridal run through, they were still able to make changes to my bridal look on the day of the wedding, until we got it absolutely perfect. My bridesmaids and mom loved their hair and makeup as well. These ladies are also a blast to talk to and be around, which was a perfect compliment to the day-of excitement. My mom and I get our hair cut at the salon, so I knew for wedding day services they would be perfect, and they didn't disappoint! Best salon in Pittsburgh... would absolutely recommend for wedding day and every day!

As a long-time regular (non-bridal) client of Classic Hair and Makeup, picking them to glam me up on my wedding day was a no-brainer. Kim did my hair, and Mary did my makeup, and both did an amazing job. I truly felt like a princess! I communicated my ideas and the look I had in mind for myself (in somewhat vague terms), and both Kim and Mary quickly figured out what I wanted and made my ideas come to life. They both provided suggestions that had me step out of my comfort zone a bit, but ended up being exactly what I didn't know I needed to look amazing on my wedding day. For example, during my trial, Mary suggested a bolder lip color than I typically wear, and I ended up absolutely loving it! They truly are experts and have an eye for bridal style and design. The entire process of contracting with Classic (Kristi is super response via email), scheduling my trial and getting me ready for the big day was super smooth. I was able to relax on my wedding day, knowing that I was in good hands for my hair and makeup. My Maid of Honor and my mother also got hair and makeup services from Kim and Mary on the wedding day, and they both looked gorgeous. I was impressed with how quickly Kim and Mary were able to assess what hair/makeup would work for them, since they had never met them before or had a trial. And, because anyone reading this review will want to know: all of our hair and makeup lasted all night, looking just as fresh at 9:00 p.m. as it did when it was applied at 9:00 a.m. ! If you and your 'I do crew' want to look flawless on your wedding day, go with Classic Hair and Makeup!

I cannot say enough great things about Kristi and her team. Kristi has been doing my hair for years, and as the salon co-owner, she takes pride in her work. I knew that her professionalism and experience would keep me calm the day of the wedding, and that was one of the most important factors to me (other than having fabulous hair). My husband and I did a first look, so it was important to me to stay on a tight schedule so that we could get all our photos completed before the wedding and enjoy our cocktail hour with our guests. I don’t know how Kristi and Sami did it, but they finished 11 updo’s for my bridal party slightly ahead of schedule. It was so unexpected, but nice to have a mimosa with my bridal party and relax before we had to get dressed! I have been rushed as a bridesmaid at other salons because the hairstylists were unable to stick to the agreed upon timeline, and it really stressed the bride out and set a bad tone for the rest of the day.

Now, onto the hair. They truly care about their clients and want your day to be perfect. I was indecisive on my final wedding day hair, and Kristi helped me decide by taking the time to look at pictures of my dress and screenshots of hairstyles I liked to help me decide. I wanted a style that would look ‘Classic’ in the years to come, and Kristi really nailed it. The look I was going for required extensions, and Kristi did not have a problem working with clip in extensions the day of. Two of my friends also used Classic Hair and Makeup for their wedding days, and I was thrilled with my hair results as a bridesmaid in those weddings as well. My wedding day was extremely windy and we took pictures outside before the ceremony, and somehow my hair, and all of my bridesmaid’s hair stayed in place! I would absolutely recommend Classic Hair & Makeup to any bride for their big day. I had the pleasure of working with Kim, Sami and Mary for my wedding day and I could not have been happier. Their personalities made for such a carefree morning and they were open to everyone's requests for hair and makeup. The entire team is professional but so enjoyable and fun to be around. I've been in several weddings where the entire morning is spent rushing through hair and makeup with no time to truly enjoy the moment and this was not the case for my day. Their team was efficient and gave my bridesmaids and I plenty of time to enjoy some food and drinks before we left. I was able to relax while getting ready and not spend the whole morning worried. They made everyone in my bridal party feel BEAUTIFUL and consulted with everyone in the bridal party on their preferences for hair and makeup.

I booked Classic Hair and Makeup Pgh before I even had an official wedding date/venue! THAT’S how important it was to me to have these ladies as part of our glam squad, the day of!
Kim and Kristi helped to get my hair wedding ready leading up to the day. After YEARS of searching for a hair stylist that could turn my hair the blonde I was looking for, Kim is the Queen of Blonde, period! Kristi is so creative and fast when it comes to updos. She can recreate from photos or can whip something up from her own ideas. As a bride, I kept an open mind, showed Kim and Kristi my dress and let them work their magic!! Turned out phenomenal and got compliments on ALL my girls for weeks to come after the wedding!!!

I had an amazing experience with Classic Hair and Makeup. Kimberly and Kristi did mine, my nine bridesmaids, and my two ring bearers hair and everyone looked amazing!! I had them come to my hotel room downtown Pittsburgh, and they arrived on time and were done all of our hair in great time. They are both incredibly friendly and talented. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Classic Hair and Makeup. Kristi and her team were flexible and responsive months before the wedding. Kristi and Mary arrived early on my wedding day, they were laid back and accomodating. We were very happy with how our hair and makeup turned out. These ladies exceeded all expectations. They are extremely professional, and made sure that everything was perfect for the big day. They had a lot of hair and makeup to coordinate ( a total of 11 adults and 2 three year olds), and did so effortlessly and on time. I received so many compliments about my hair and makeup, and I know many of the other ladies they styled did as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and definitely would be my first choice for any formal occasion in Pittsburgh!!!

I chose Classic Hair and Makeup for my wedding day hair & make-up, mostly because of a previous experience with them (I was in another wedding they worked with) as well as for the location. The salon is new and beautiful with a very calm and relaxing setting. I had a small bridal party (5 total including me) so I only needed 1 hair stylist and 1 makeup artist for a 4 hour block of time- Kim for hair and Mary for makeup. Both of them did a fabulous job working with each of us and making us all look beautiful! Kim and Mary took their time on each of us and gave us a preview throughout to make sure they were heading in the right direction. All of my girls were more than pleased with the outcome and so was I! We also managed to stay on schedule so we were out in time to get home and change before my photographer showed up. I would highly recommend the salon for your wedding day beauty needs!!!

My wedding date was 12/17/16. Even with the unexpected ice storm that morning, Classic hair and Makeup showed up right on time! They do incredible work, we all LOVED our hair! Classic Hair and Make-up did an amazing job making me and my girls look out best for my wedding. My trial went smoothly, but an unfortunate accident changed my stylist a couple weeks before the wedding. They were prompt in calling me to notify of the changes and ensured that pictures and notes would be given to the stylists coming out. The girls were early getting to our rental house and were extremely professional. They were very flexible with last minute requests for additional make-up. My hair and make-up looked gorgeous!! Thank you SO much!

We worked with Cayley and she was great. I wound up changing the location we were getting ready at the week before (it was only a couple blocks) and they were great about updating the info. All of our makeup was fantastic and with a Sunday wedding she came to us at no extra charge. I loved my look and my bridesmaids did too.

Kristi and Kim from Classic Hair and Makeup are amazing! Both girls were super sweet and extremely professional. Kristi listened to exactly what I wanted done with my hair and did just that. I had a lot of extensions as well and they were put in perfectly and my do stayed in place all day and night. I didn't have one set style for my bridesmaids and let them decide how they wanted their hair to look. Whatever they wanted Kristi and Kim did just that and my girls were beyond impressed and looked beautiful. They also drove to where we were getting ready so that made it so much easier. The last thing you want to do on your wedding day is run all over creation! Needless to say I highly recommend Classic Hair and Makeup!!!

I had a great experience with Classic and absolutely recommend them to anybody looking for event hair and makeup. I can't make personal calls at work so them being so responsive via email was awesome, and scheduling my trial and day of services was a breeze. We ended up having Cayley come on site to do hair and makeup for three of us - she was fabulous to work with (my MIL was nervous about getting her makeup done, and she put her right at ease) and, not only did we look good, that hair and makeup didn't budge until I was back at the hotel 14 hours later!

Classic Hair and Makeup provided hair and makeup for me, my bridesmaids and mother. They came to the hotel we were staying at and set up shop. Kimberly and Cayley were the best! They were on time, great to hang out with and made us look fantastic. I first went to Classic for a hair and makeup trial. Kimberly tried multiple styles after showing her a picture and she took notes with what I liked and didn't like. Cayley did my makeup and did the same. She took notice of my favorite products and brought them on the day of my wedding. The reviews for Classic are 100% true - they are a 5 star team and will be great for your wedding day!

I loved these girls! They were awesome with the little girls at the wedding! The make up and hair was exactly what I wanted and even though I had no idea at the time what I wanted. I gave complete faith in these ladies and they went above and beyond my expectations. Thanks Ladies!

I can not say enough wonderful things about the ladies of Classic Hair and Makeup! As I was planning my Pittsburgh wedding from out of town I was overwhelmed by having to choose a hair and makeup team. I went with Classic because their pricing was very reasonable, and they agreed to come onsite at no additional charge for my Sunday wedding. WOW am I glad I did!

The whole process of working with Kristi and her team was a joy from beginning to end. I was not even planning on having my hair done at all (super curly girl here) because I don't trust anyone to get it right. Kristi exceeded all of my expectations, when in 7 min flat she crafted the most perfectly elegant updo with my natural curls.

Cayley did a fantastic job with my makeup as well. After my trial I was a little worried because there was a lot more makeup than I was used to. On the day of, Cayley REALLY listened to what I wanted to make all the right adjustments to create a natural but flawless look. She kept checking in along the way to make sure that things were looking as I envisioned.

Not only is this team incredibly talented but they are sweet, easygoing and professional. Just the type of people you want to be surrounded by on your wedding day! They showed up right on time and set up quickly. One of my bridesmaids who was not planning to have her hair done at all changed her mind and they fit her in without batting an eyelash. All my girls looked gorgeous.

Kristi has been my stylist for years, so I knew that my hair would look great. However, I was nervous about my bridesmaids; it's always hard working with a new stylist and my girls are picky! But I shouldn't have worried at all; my bridesmaids all loved their hairstyles! They were raving!

We hired Kim and Kristi for onsite hair before my wedding and they were great! With various ladies and hair types they were able to give everyone the look the desired. They were punctual, professional and fun! I would definitely recommend then for anyone needing wedding stylists.

These ladies are were worth EVERY penny! They came to my home on my wedding day which was so great!!! They were on time and very detailed and efficient. The girls did my hair and makeup as well as 6 of my bridesmaids and my moms hair and makeup. Not only did the girls finish everyone's hair and make up on time, but it was seriously the most pleasant experience. None of us felt rushed, and they even helped calm my nerve with the great sense of humor and fun. They are totally affordable and use amazing products!! I really loved everything "Classic Hair and Makeup" did for me and I feel like I looked naturally beautiful on my wedding day!!!

Kim has been doing my hair for probably the last 8 years, so when I needed to find someone to do my hair for my wedding it was a no brainer! Kim and Kristi are amazingly talented. They were also very flexible on the day of the wedding and came onsite to my parents home to do my hair along with 7 bridesmaids. We were even done early so we had time to relax and there was no stress. I was so happy with my hair style. We had trialed a few several months before the wedding and on the day of everything turned out perfect. All of my bridesmaids hair look amazing as well. The hair stayed all night and we got so many compliments. I would highly recommend Classic hair and makeup for any wedding. They do an amazing job and I cant thank them enough for helping with my special day!

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience than the one I had with Classic Hair! This is coming from a girl who was never pleased with any updos she had ever gotten for any proms or Christmas dances. I was so incredibly thankful for their talent and professionalism on one of the biggest days of my life! All of my bridesmaids were also more than pleased with their services. Highly reccommended for any special event...they will not disappoint!!

I could not recommend Kristi and Kim of Classic Hair & Makeup any more highly! Kristi and Kim did mine and my bridal party's hair for my wedding, plus Kristi did my hair for my engagement pictures and my bridal shower. For my engagement pictures, Kristi did volumous Kate Middleton waves, for my bridal shower, 1950's classic curls, and for my wedding, a perfectly classic low bun to complement my birdcage veil. Kristi captured each different look that I requested perfectly each time! My entire bridal party loved each of their looks created my both Kristi and Kim. When Kristi and Kim did my wedding party's hair, they usually worked out of a salon, but I asked if there was any way that they could meet my party at the Omni William Penn instead. Kristi and Kim basically moved their entire schedules around that day to accommodate my request to get my hair done at my hotel. I was so happy! They are both supremely talented; consummate professionals but still plenty of fun to be around! You will definitely enjoy their company! You will not be disappointed. I would recommend Classic Hair & Makeup to anyone who asked!

These ladies are the absolute best. They came out to our farm venue (read: middle of nowhere!) to do the entire bridal party's hair and makeup. They came early, they came prepared, and they came calm. It was a house full of women all in different stages of readiness. They helped us figure out who should go when without making it stressful. I think 11 of us had our hair and makeup done and we were finished with plenty of time to spare.
We all looked stunning too, I must say. Everyone photographed beautifully and our hair stayed all night! It was a hot summer day and an outside ceremony, plus we shook our tail feathers all night, so that was impressive. At the end of the night, even my makeup was still perfect - I couldn't believe it.
They were great to deal with from start to finish. Their work surpassed my expectations. I'm so thankful that we chose them - I recommend them to everyone.

Kristi was a true professional! I conveyed what I wanted and she executed it perfectly! She not only made a long drive to do my hair and makeup on-site, she exceeded my expectations. Her skills have been honed to perfection. Even though I had full makeup applied, it still looked very natural. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup that day! Kristi is fantastic!

Love! First my cousin found Kristi to do hair for her wedding. I was a bridesmaid at her wedding so this was the first time I worked with Kristi. I loved my hair that day and was 99.9% sold on her doing my hair for my wedding (which happened the following year). She is so easy to work, extremely kind, and amazing at what she does. I loved my hair. It stayed the entire day and night which was not an easy task. I got married outside in 80 degree weather in July. I also sweat my buns off throughout the night but my hair looked great the whole day! My guests thought that I magically was not sweating. I was! Kristi just did an amazing job. Also, a little funny. Kristi came to my mom's house where my bridesmaids & myself were getting ready to do our hair and afterwards she was leaving to catch a plane! Not once did she rush us, not once did she make us feel as though we were less important than her other plans. If you book with Classic you will love the outcome. FYI I spent $150. $50 for the trial and $100 for the day of.

The team at Classic Hair and Makeup did an amazing job for me, my mother, bridesmaids, and flower girl! The ladies were very friendly and approachable and paid great attention to detail and offered advice to ensure the vision that we had. I could not have asked for a better experience. Kristi & Jordan were a fantastic beauty team for my wedding day. I had both of them for my trial hair & makeup and then for day of. They followed my inspiration pictures perfectly and made it work for my style, making sure I was happy and adjusting the whole time until we finished and I was in love with how I looked. They also did the hair of my 5 bridesmaids & the 2 moms. We were never rushed and they were able to complete all the updos faster than we planned which was perfect and gave us time to relax and enjoy the morning. The hair and makeup lasted the whole day and photographed beautifully. I would highly recommend their services to anyone, they were a joy to have around the morning of the wedding!

The hair and makeup team did a great job with listening to me at both the trial and the day of the wedding, when I made some changes to what we had done at the trial. My bridesmaids, my mom, my aunt, and I all looked and felt beautiful, not overly done or made up, and each hair style was unique based on what each person wanted and their hair type. The team came to our house in Fox Chapel, were fun and professional all day long, and completed us all on time without being rushed. I would highly and definitely recommend them!!!!

I used Classic Hair and Makeup for my May wedding. Kristi and the girls did a wonderful job on hair and makeup for 10 people. Having Classic come to our house made the morning run so smoothly, it was convenient and saved me so much stress and time!
The girls are quick and efficient and do a great job, plus they are all so nice, personable, and professional! It was 90 degrees for my May 9th wedding and my hair and makeup didn't budge an inch. It lasted through pictures in the hot sun, the ceremony, and dancing all night! I couldn't have been happier.
I highly recommend Classic!
