Amazing service!
Nikki made the entire planning process easy and stress free! During our engagement photos and wedding, Nikkie and the Classic Filmworks team made us feel comfortable - which was so important to us since we are naturally shy people. The quality of our photos and videos were unreal - they were able to capture all of our special moments and deliver us the final product in such a quick turnaround time. We look forward to working with them in the future! -

Amazing Videographers
We worked with Classic Filmworks for our wedding in May and we are in love with the videos they produced! The recap video was amazing, but we just watched the full length video and it brought tears to my eyes. They were so professional and kind - we really enjoyed working with this team. I'd definitely recommend checking out Classic Filmworks -

Beautiful wedding footage
Nikki and her team at Classic Filmworks did an amazing job capturing my wedding this past April at Twin Oaks Garden Estate. She was very responsive, helpful, and professional via email with any questions I had, and I love that she was already familiar with my venue. The highlight film and full feature film are absolutely stunning! They will be priceless keepsakes that I can enjoy and share with family through the generations. I’m so happy with how everything turned out, and I would definitely recommend Classic Filmworks to anyone in the San Diego or surrounding areas. Thank you so much!! -

Amazing, Artistic, Beautiful and Professional
Nikki, Nan and their crew were absolutely amazing! We cant say enough about them. My wife and I created our own DYI wedding. We did a lot of research, we interviewed several vendors and we spent a lot of time. We would like to save you that problem and simply recommend that you stop looking and hire Classic Filmworks with Nikki and Nan. The talent and professionalism and artistic nature of their film was nothing short of perfect. They were extremely easy to communicate with and set up times to meet. They had no problem meeting us at our venue in Fallbrook to survey the site with our wedding planner, caterer, photographer and site manager. We went through the venue working out all the details so that there were no surprises.
The day of the wedding Nikki, Nan and their crew were discrete in their setup and hardly noticeable as they shot their footage. They filmed us from several angles with impeccable timing and sound quality. We really had no idea what to expect, but in the end, to see the final product..... We were blown away! They sent us a quick 5-10 minute teaser which I thought at first was the entire film. I was so excited to see it that I couldn't believe that was our wedding. When we received the entire short film it was absolutely amazing.
My wife insisted on getting a videographer. I didn't believe that we would watch a silly video of people forced to say something nice about the bride and groom while shanghaied into a corner like on the old school wedding videos. I was so wrong. The setup and planning and attention to detail was amazing. The drone footage was spectacular! I didn't once hear it or see it but the footage was awe inspiring. The short film covered everything. They were there for all the right shots and conversations and special moments between my wife and I. The editing kept all the best parts of the speeches and they took out one of our drunken groomsman toast (per request). They even included the full speeches, on the main menu, so that I can show him what a fool he was LOL. Lastly we would like to comment on the fee's. We interviewed 5-6 videographers with price ranges anywhere from $1000-$9000. We didn't have any help financially for the wedding and price was always an issue. Some company's would charge three payments of $3000 and then charge again for transport fees, extra lighting, drones and misc stuff. Classic Filmworks was up front and to the point with no hidden fees. Their fee was very fair, in fact, after seeing the short film, I feel we should owe them money. Nikki and Nan.... sorry but Im all out LOL !
In short, my wife and I are very happy with every aspect of Classic Filmworks. I hope that after reading our review you will be satisfied and trust that you hired the right film crew for your special day. -

First, I want to say thank you so much Nan for capturing all the special moments of our wedding day! The highlights video is amazing and all our family and friends love it! I watch all the videos from the highlights to full ceremony to feature film, over and over. Nan is a very talented artist. She and her assistant Nikki worked hard to bring out the best in our wedding. I am not comfortable to be in front of cameras but she made me feel good on my wedding day! I love how she made shooting so fun and all the effects were just incredible! Even the songs match the scenes/ clips. Nan is very professional and I definitely recommend her to every wedding! We are very pleased and feel so lucky finding you. I’ve seen other wedding videos but so far, Classic Filmworks is the best! You will not regret it! -

Beautiful video from our wedding! These ladies were wonderful and sooooo easy to work with. I think most people are looking for vendors who won't add more stress to the big day, and they did the opposite! Plus, their work is amazing. I love rewatching different clips from our wedding. -

Nan was AMAZING to work with and she absolutely blew us away with her final work product. I can honestly say that you will NOT find anyone better in quality, price, and professionalism. Nan perfectly captured our big day and created the most magical personalized videos--highlight and feature film. I recommend Nan to all of my engaged girlfriends and my recommendation and review here is the same I give them! Originally, my now-husband and I were not going to use a videographer because we were tight on our budget. However, after reconsideration, we knew we couldn't go without a videographer--we were 100% right! After thorough research and multiple emails back and forth, video samples, and a phone call with Nan, we selected Classic Filmworks -- it was the BEST decision ever. -

Nan and her team were amazing! We needed a videographer last minute for our wedding this past September and our venue recommended her. Fortunately we booked her the day before our wedding and she was available! From beginning to end, the team was very professional and made my husband I very comfortable. At first I wasn't too sure if I wanted a videographer but I'm so happy with the end results! When we received our wedding highlights, we absolutely were amazed at what a great job and how beautiful the video was put together! I couldn't have asked for a better team to share our special day! If your looking for an amazing team please look no further! Classic Filmworks is by far the best team of videographers. Best video I've ever seen! When I showed family and friends everyone commented on how amazing the footage came out! My husband and I are so lucky and cannot thank Classic Filmworks enough!!! Classic Filmworks exceeded our expectations for our wedding highlight and documentary films. My husband and I spend many hours searching for a videographer that could express our love and energy. We were not looking for the typical wedding videos you see so much of but had our own elements and ideas we wanted in the video. Nan really listened to what we had to say. It was so easy to talk with her and didn't take much explaining or example to demonstrate what we were looking for.

My wife and I had the pleasure of having Nan and Classic Filmworks film our wedding on May 21, 2016. Nan and her team were very communicative, accommodating and above all professional. We felt that they captured all the great parts of the wedding that we enjoyed and parts that we didn't see because of us running around the entire time. One thing I could say about Nan is that she is very responsive. We planned our wedding for a year and she was there to answer all of our questions from beginning to end of the event. She was very flexible and was with our photographer most of the time to make sure they are capturing moments that our photographer might have missed. There were 3 maybe 4 of them working hence, the other staff were all over the area capturing moments of the wedding. What I was thankful for is her professionalism. I was worried that I am not going to be able to download all of the videos that was on the website and transfer to DVD due to not having a CD/DVD writer installed on my computer. She accommodated my request and sent me no one but 3 DVDs so that I could give a copy to our parents who helped us pay for the wedding. The quality of work she had put in to our wedding was more than I had imagined. She captured all the special moments of our wedding day and put the video together so well that my friends and family had asked me how I found her. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family for any life big events that comes their way. Thank you Nan and staff for capturing all special moments of our wedding. I will forever be grateful to you and your staff. -

Nan was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we couldn't be happier with our final video! She was so flexible and accommodating to what we specifically needed (we wanted her to film a small ceremony in the church and also a large outside celebration). She cut everything together so beautifully and she got such amazing footage. The most important thing to us was that she captured who we were as a couple, and she did that so well! She truly captured our wedding weekend as well as the spirit of both me and my husband. And her and her daughter were so sweet and easy to work with! We are so happy we decided to hire a videographer, and we're so happy we chose Classic Filmworks! -

Nan and her team at Classic Filmworks were absolute professionals, super sweet, and created the most amazing wedding video for us. My mom has had a camcorder strapped to her hand my whole life, and we knew she would have one at our wedding too if we hadn't ensured video coverage ourselves. ;-) But it was worth so much more than just keeping mom in her seat. They captured beautiful raw footage, did a wonderful edit in long-form and short, and got it to us both digitally and on discs for preservation and enjoyment. They are true artists, and truly worth the expense! Photos are amazing too, but there's nothing like video for capturing your loved ones in motion, real as life. Note - they are also very discreet with their tiny cameras, there's none of the 'horror stories' of videographers to be found here! -

We originally wanted the extra option of having a super 8 camera to be used but due to budget we had to cancel but was please to see even though we didn't get the super 8 they edited our video with a little vintage style in some parts. Lovely surprise!! Thank you! Nan and her team were so sweet to work with. Definitely would recommend having them for any event that needs a videographer!! I give them a 5 out of 5 with two thumbs up! :D -

Nan and her assistants were so much fun and easy to work with! My sister actually reccomended her (Nan did her wedding in 2006) and I am so glad chose her to do our wedding! My husband and I got married in Coronado on May 31 and we've already received our highlight and actual video. We love both of them! The highlight video was amazing and a great video to share with all our family and friends. The actual video came so quick and captured our wedding better than we ever imagined. The day went so fast so it was important for us to have a video that captured the moments we missed and to remember the day forever. -

I should start by saying that I initially thought having a videographer wasn’t a necessity since we were having a photographer. My mother-in-law disagreed and I am so glad I listened to her, because getting to watch and listen to the vows and speeches all over again is PRICELESS on its own. We spent months planning this day and getting to relive it was worth every penny especially since, as the bride and groom who are on a cloud all day, you are bound to miss or forget some of what happened. Also, getting to share this day with friends and family that weren’t able to make it was an absolute joy.
We had a full-day Indian fusion wedding, with a Sikh ceremony in Escondido in the morning and a vow exchange ceremony in Carlsbad in the afternoon. As the bride, I was hidden away for the “groom’s parade” and “meeting of the families” that happened before the first ceremony. I was bummed to miss my husband ride in on a horse (which is just one of the awesome Punjabi wedding traditions), but knowing that Nan was capturing it all meant I was going to get to enjoy it later, which was such a comfort.
As a multi-cultural wedding, our focus was to celebrate our two cultures and unite our two families. When I met with Nan before the wedding I told her that this was the “theme” of our wedding and the highlight video she created expressed this beautifully and perfectly. She is such an artist!
We are extremely grateful for the hours of hard work Nan put into creating what we will most definitely cherish our whole life. -

Really loved working with Nan and Classic Filmworks. They did videography for my brother's wedding, and I loved the product so much that I wanted them for my wedding! I appreciate that they have a very fair, reasonable price and that I could trust in their final product. They are friendly and professional, quite a delight to work with. We had an outdoor, evening wedding and wanted a sweet, memorable, low-drama day, which Classic Filmworks certainly contributed to. They worked with me on choosing songs (listening to my suggestions or offering suggestions when I asked) for our video/highlight reel as well as including a clip that I really desired to have in our highlight reel. I highly recommend Classic Filmworks as they deliver quality service and product. -

The video was finished within a few weeks of our wedding and the quality is truly amazing. Everyone to whom we sent our highlights has commented on how beautiful it is. We are so happy that we have such wonderful documentation of our big day to enjoy for years to come. -

We are so happy to have found Classic Filmworks. They did the most incredible job on our wedding video. The final products were truly amazing. All of our friends and family shared that our highlight video was the best they have every seen. We got married in San Diego last August (2012) and found Classic Filmworks through WeddingWire. You can also find our wedding video short (“A Poetic Wedding Story”) on the Classic Filmworks site.
We think their work speaks for itself, but we had so many friends “like” and write comments on our Facebook post with adjectives such as: beautiful, tear-filling, amazing, and touching. More importantly, we loved it so much, we probably watched the video more than 10 times when we first received the link.
Anyways, if you agree that you love the style of their editing, then read on for more details that hopefully will help you evaluate Classic Filmworks as your next videographer:
1) Team players: you may read or hear that photographers and videographers can be like oil and water on the wedding day and rightfully so, as they both are vying for the right shots to make their clients happy. But Nan and Alexis were such wonderful team players as they knew exactly when to take a back-seat and allow our photographer to take point and when to step up to get the shots they wanted.
2) Professional: Nan and Alexis exude professionalism. They arrived early for every scheduled appointment. Asked all the questions they needed to understand their client’s priorities. And they really have a knack for capturing all the key video shots they needed without having to shove their cameras in our or our guests faces, which we’ve experienced at a lot of other weddings.
3) Prompt & Responsive: all our email communications with Nan were met with prompt and courteous replies. We even received our teaser and full-length videos earlier than we had anticipated (we still have friends waiting for their videos). Nan even made some edits to our full-length video at my husband’s request to make sure that we were 100% happy.
Anyways we couldn't be happier with Classic Filmworks and we can't thank Nan and Alexis enough for capturing our wedding memories so beautifully. -

Honestly we could not have been happier with Nan filming our wedding! Nan went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, we NEVER felt like we were being "filmed" and the quality of our wedding video is even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. The centerpiece of our wedding memories is -- without question -- the wonderful video created and produced by Nan and Classic Filmworks. The photo album is nice, but the video is nothing short of amazing. Even the 4 minute "sneak peak" that Nan sent us shortly after the wedding generated so many views and comments on Facebook that I am fairly certain it now has its own page. And deservedly so. Not only was the work exceptionally good and extremely professional, Nan was kind enough and flexible enough with her time to make herself available to the Groom a couple of weeks AFTER the weeding for some last-minute additions and editing....making the finished product all the more special for its grateful recipients! -

We were able to find Nan and her crew here at Wedding Wire. We met with her once, about 8 months before the wedding. We saw her work on vimeo and we concluded she would be a good match for us. We were not misled by the reviews and the work she had posted. Nan did an awesome job filming our wedding, capturing everything that photographs couldn't capture. Watching our highlight video made me cry for at least the first ten times I watched it (LOL), with the emotions that they were able to elicit from the video. I am so glad they were available for our day, and their pricing is also very reasonable. Nan was also very professional and responded to our communications very promptly. -

Nan and Alexis were such a pleasure to work with! Months before our wedding, Nan met us for coffee to discuss the wedding timeline, our music choices and to simply learn about us as a couple. Nan was always quick to return calls or emails and answered all of our questions. The day of the wedding, Nan and Alexis arrived on time and with such positive attitudes! They were able to catch every moment, but we never felt bombarded with cameras.
We received our videos just four weeks after the wedding--they included popcorn too! I couldn't believe how quickly they were able to put it together. We were so impressed with how Nan and her team captured the subtleties of the event and the special feel of this wedding. So many of the things that are meaningful to us were captured and there was never a time when we were necessarily even aware of the videography process going on. On top of that, Nan and her team are a class act and wonderful to be around. As with any process like this, we were anxious to see the results and Nan provided two previews of the day in short order thereafter. The highlights posted on her website is invaluable and has been shared with many friends and family that did not attend. They all commented about the "love" being expressed that day because Nan caught that essence on film. My husband and I were absolutely THRILLED with the work Classic Filmworks did at our wedding in September. Nan and her assistant (her daughter) were wonderful to work with - very personable, sweet, unobtrusive, but also able to direct enough to get tons of fantastic material. The video looks amazing - the editing is excellent, every important moment and detail is captured perfectly, and we were able to choose our own music, lending a very personal and moving touch. Classic Filmworks did an amazing job. Nan has an incredible talent for blending music and video that captures every moment and emotion. She provides multiple camera shots for the uncut (but very well edited) ceremony and reception and really shows her gifts in the highlight video, which perfectly matches the nuances of the songs and voices to the unfolding events. In one part of our highlights video she overlaid the minister and guests' blessing on our first kiss in a way that brings tears to our eyes every time we look at it, and we look at it often.
I cannot say enough about her quality, her professionalism and her responsiveness, all at a price that cannot be beat for value.

I am so thankful that we found Nan and Alexis from Classic Filmworks and highly recommend them.
I searched for weeks online and at a bridal show for a videographer and it seemed like each one I found was either ridiculously expensive, inexperienced, or stingy with "extras" (time on site/highlights video/copies of DVDs, etc.). Thankfully, my Mom saved the day when she found Classic Filmworks!
Nan and Alexis are a wonderful team and we had an extra bonus at our wedding with a third intern videographer! They are incredibly creative and captured so many amazing little moments from our day - things I either never got a chance to see or hadn't remembered. We will cherish the memories forever and are incredibly grateful for all the personal touches they added to our video.
I truly do not think you will find a better videographer team. -

Classic Filmworks was the videographer for our wedding in Palm Springs, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. They were professional, easy to work with, and we are in love with both of our videos. Our photographer was also very impressed with them, and even said they were one of the best wedding vendors that she had ever worked with. I would absolutely recommend Nan and Classic Filmworks. -

As the father of the groom, I was very pleased with the whole Classic Filmworks experience. On such a busy day, you really don't have time, nor do you want to be, overly involved in the video activities. Nan did a great job making all the arrangements (including pre- and post-ceremony shoots) and it was all done very quietly, smoothly, and professionally with no disruption of any wedding activities. I found out later that some of the guest video comments were not in the best of taste (too much celebrating, I presume) and these comments ended up on the cutting room floor where they belonged, thanks to Nan's discretion and editting skill. Finally, the finished product is just fantastic. Nan captured the beauty of that special day. I continue to be amazed at how much feeling is imparted to ordinary photos by choreography, video editting, and music selection. I really have no suggestions for improvement. It was a very first-rate, top quality experience. -

Amazing job! Great videographers. Kind, thoughtful, professional. Drone footage was a bit quick. Wish we could be more part of the editing, but fortunately she is open to feedback and to making changes. -

Nan Grenier was so pleasant to work with and we LOVE our wedding video! If you are on the fence about whether or not a video is a "must-have" item, let me say without hesitation - DO IT! SO worth it! There are many moments which happen during a wedding, and the day goes by in a blur...it's fantastic to have the video to re-watch and re-live all the fun and special moments.
Nan is gracious and polite and she even accommodated our wish to meet before the wedding itself, at our venue, with our photographers to strategize the most optimal places to shoot and go over a timeline. Really above and beyond!
The day of the wedding, she brought her lovely assistant (her daughter), and the pair of them were so kind. I would recommend Classic Filmworks VERY highly. -

They were very helpful when it came to looking at older video footage and finding key clips to use for our 5 year anniversary "recap" video. -
