Classic Bride is Amazing!

From the minute I connected with Heather on the phone, I knew I would find my dream dress at Classic Bride. Heather had several dresses out for me to try, but the first one was the one I selected! This cute boutique made my dress dreams come true and Heather was wonderful to work with. She knew what dress to put me in and I felt like a princess! If you want top notch service with an elegant collection, Classic Bride is for you!

Mother of the Groom dress perfection!

My mother was able to find the most beautiful gown. The best thing was it was very unique. Not some dress that 30 stores have the same thing. Who wants to show up and someone has the same dress. Nobody! The staff was great! She had not bought formal wear for years and was made very comfortable right away.

Saved the Day!!

When my first wedding dress disaster struck (it came in two sizes too big), this place saved the day! I found the perfect gown off the rack and on sale. It fit like a dream and only needed a quick hem. The selection was gorgeous, the prices were amazing, and the staff was truly incredible. I should have come here first. 15/10 recommend to any bride-to-be.

Easy and enjoyable process!

My entire experience with Rose and at Classic Bride was amazing! Highly recommend!!
As a bride that was stressing out about finding “the dress” after visiting two other shops before this one, Rose immediately put me at ease with her kind and open personality! She helped me find dresses based on what I was interested in but also encouraged me to try some dresses that might’ve been a bit different. She was also very supportive of my budget which just reassured the fact that she wanted what was best for me. After finding the dress, I went to another shop to try on some others just to make sure. Once I knew that I wanted the dress, Rose was kind enough to let me come back and try it on one more time since she had some extra time in her schedule. After saying yes to the dress, Rose went through all of the next steps with me so I left the store without any questions at all!

What a fantastic bridal appointment experience!

From the minute my mom, aunt and I stepped foot into the store, we were greeted by Heather. Heather took the time to really learn what I was looking for and helped me find my perfect dress by Megan Kelly! Great Experience

I needed a wedding dress and didn’t want to spend a lot of money since this was my second trip down the aisle. A friend recommended Classic Beides of Cornelius. I looked them up and called and the rest was so easy. I picked a dress off the sales rack and even got a discount from the sales price. I had a great experience there and found my dress

Professional, Intimate, and blissful!

My experience with Classic Bride was 10/10! They made finding my dress such a comfortable and fun experience for my friends/family and I! Their atmosphere was so great, the staff is friendly and professional, with such great knowledge of their inventory. They had snacks and champagne for us and really made it an event. After finding my dress, they were so great with helping me find places for alterations and they steamed the dress beautifully before the big day. Absolutely amazing!

Amazing Bridal Boutique

I searched high and low for a one of a kind black wedding dress and was coming up empty handed. I called the girls at Classic Bride and they told me about a designer they work with. I made my appointment, went in meet with the designer and watched my Bridal Dress Dreams become reality right before my eyes and well within my budget. This boutique and staff are amazing. I would 100% recommend them to any bride and I have!!! Lol

I enjoyed everything about my experience at Classic Bride! Booking the appointment was so easy and didn’t require any deposit. Upon arrival we were greeted with mimosas! We had our own private room that made the experience feel super intimate. I worked with Heather Sheffield and have nothing but good things to say about her! She was so patient and helpful. After trying on a few gowns that I had picked out she knew exactly what I was looking for and came back with the dress I ultimately said yes to! She’s great at what she does and I highly recommend working with her. They offered a great variety of dresses and price points. I’m so glad I booked my appointment with them!

Great shop to work with!

I had a great experience working with Classic Bride. I visited the boutique shop because I wanted to support a small and local business. They had a great selection of dresses, but I ended up working with Meagan Kelly Designs based on their recommendation and together, they helped me create the perfect dress for my wedding. The shop is cozy and intimate and the staff was always friendly and accommodating. Working with Meagan was a great experience as well. I would have never found her if it weren't for Classic Bride. I would recommend working with Classic Bride.

Perfect dress

Heather is a gem of a person and helped me find my dream dress! The location itself is the most adorable and quaint shop, it really felt personal. LOVE this wedding dress shop!

Classic Bride & Formals was AMAZING throughout my dress shopping experience. I went back a number of times and they always had a room for me and were always so helpful and kind. Heather and Faith really made my whole dress experience amazing. They stayed on top of the dress designer to make sure my dress was going to come in on time and helped sort out my alterations in Charlotte. I am truly thankful for this shop and 100% recommend them!!

Don’t walk, RUN to Classic Bride

I wish there was an option to give more than 5 stars! It’s impossible to put into words how thankful I am for finding Classic Bride and my dream dress. I arrived and instantly felt like more than a customer. Heather was beyond helpful and patient with me throughout the process. After some bad experiences, the one here was FUN. I ended up going with a stunning Maggie Sottero dress and was able to customize it and put in a layer of sparkle tulle. Every single person I spoke to at my wedding said how much they loved my dress. I always had dreams of a sparkly long sleeve dress and my dreams came true! Future brides, don’t walk, RUN to Classic Bride.

Absolutely perfect!

The Classic Bride Team was absolutely amazing! It was easy to make an appointment and as soon as I arrived, I was treated to the best experience. They made choosing and trying on dresses so fun! 10/10 experience!

Scheduling an appointment was very easy, and done so quickly. The little house the business is in, is so unique! It’s an amazing space for dress shopping! They let me wear a dress outside to see what it’s like outside (since my wedding is outside).
It was clean and organized. Everyone was so friendly and worked hard to make sure myself, and my guests were so happy!! 10 out 10 on overall experience!

The best customer service!

After passing by their shop a million times before I got engaged, it was so fun to finally go and try on dresses! Due to covid, I was only able to have my mom and mother in law with me but Heather made sure to make the experience just as special. She took her time to explain how looking for a dress would work and then let us look around. I had requested a dress in advance to try on so she was sure to pull it ahead of time. After an experience at another shop that made me feel like I was in a car dealership, it was such a relief to not feel pressured about any of the dresses. Heather was honest and straight forward when it came to picking a dress. Never once was she pushy about making a decision. Once I got my dress, Heather stayed in touch to let me know when it would be in and ready for me to pick-up which surprisingly was much quicker than expected! Before my wedding day, Classic's steamed my dress and veil for me so that they were ready to go! This was so great since I had no idea where to even begin to do this myself.

I can't thank Heather and the rest of the team for making me look like a true queen the day of my wedding!

So blessed to have found my dress!

I was in a unique situation. I was looking for a dress last minute and Classic Bride and Formals fit me into their busy schedule. I said yes to the dress there and am so thankful for how kind and understanding the staff were. I am so in love with my dress and I got it for an AMAZING price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for their dream dress. They were so accommodating to everything and they continued to communicate with me throughout the entire process.

BEST Experience & Selection

I drove all the way from Florida just to shop here and would do it again in a heartbeat!! My family / friends were a little nervous to do this during the peak of COVID (June 2020), but Heather made us feel so comfortable and safe. Heather was amazing at taking my general direction and narrowing it down to the best options! I was able to buy my dream dress right off the rack and it was PERFECT for our big day this year! I had the BEST time choosing a dress here and would give them 10 stars if I could!!

Classic Bride and Formals

Classic Bride and Formals is the best wedding dress shop around the Lake Norman area!! This was my first stop on the wedding dress adventure and I fell in love with my wedding dress right away. We went to a couple of other local shops, but the quality of dresses, price point and customer service was above all else!!! I have recommended two other brides to shop here and they both found their wedding dresses there!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Kind, Helpful, Comfortable

I went to Classic Bride after a few defeating dress appointments. Instantly upon arrival, I was greeted with champagne and a sense of family. This was especially important to me because my mom was unable to travel from out of state to the appointment with me. The staff was patient, kind, and what I loved most was that after a quick scan of the dresses, I was able to relax in the dressing room and have THEM bring me dresses based on what I pulled to try on and what I described I was looking for. I felt this was so important because they know their inventory better than I do, and it takes so much pressure off of the bride. I ended up choosing a dress that was picked for me by the staff and one I never would have chosen myself just seeing it on the hanger. I swear, this dress was made for me! I felt like such a beautiful bride and it's large in part due to Classic Bride!

A fantastic experience, highly recommend!

I had the best experience with Classic Bride and specifically working with Heather! I had an idea of what I wanted and as a plus size bride, I was nervous my dress experience wouldn't have options. Heather proved me SO wrong. Not only did I not feel pressured, she answered all my questions, made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. There are so many options and I couldn't have said yes to the dress at a better place! I think their selection is wonderful and they have affordable options for everyone. The minute I put on my dress and said yes, they made me process easy and manageable. They even recommend a great place for alterations! You won't go wrong shopping here for your dress!

The absolute best experience!!

This place was absolutely amazing from the second we walked in! They make you feel so comfortable and let you browse their entire collection of dresses and choose what you would like to try on! They will dress you up with different belts, head pieces, etc to complete your look! We had a party of 6 and we were able to sip on some mimosas while trying on (this was last June, pre-covid!) but it was just overall the best experience! Communication on arrival of dress was perfect and it arrived earlier than expected. If you want a one on one feel while trying on dresses, I highly recommend this place! 10/10!

I found the perfect dress even during Covid

I’m so happy the Classic Bride was the first and only shop I looked for my dress. I did a virtual appointment during Covid and Heather made it so easy. I think the virtual fitting ended up being better than going into the store since I got more time with the dresses.

Delightful!

I had a dream experience with Classic Bride! Heather and Phaedra were both tentative, kind, positive and pleasant! The location is also super cute! I needed special order buttons for my gown and the ladies at Classic Bride were able to go above and beyond to find them, despite being discontinued, then ship to my seamstress! I appreciate the love and kindness that was shown to me and I recommend them to anyone shopping for the perfect dress! Oh, and I got mine for half price because it was in the “last gown” section! I got tons of compliments and it was a stunning gown! 💞

Outstanding Bridal Appt!!

I said YES to the dress at Class Bride & Formals. I visited two other dress shops as well. Classic Bride & Formals was by far the best! Immediately when I arrived the building felt familiar. I realized one of my friends purchased her dress there as well. For my bridal appointment I worked with Heather who was wonderful and highly recommend. She made helpful suggestions/comments and was not pushy. She was also very knowledgeable, patient and flexible. Since I was on a lower budget I really appreciated the organization of the dresses. They were organized by price instead of designer for dresses that can be ordered. This helped browsing go smoothly. There was also a separate room for discounted dresses. I felt very comfortable during the entire process. I loved the space for the dressing room for me and the space for my guests attending the appointment as well. Overall I highly recommend Classic Bride & Formals to my friends, family and anyone in need for a gown!! Check them out you won’t regret it.

Dream Dress!

Dream Dresses!

The best ever! My first and only stop I made for wedding dress shopping. They have BEAUTIFUL dresses. When you arrive for your appointment it is all about you! Large, private dressing room and very accommodating and helpful staff! The dress I picked was actually one that they pulled out. :) I cannot tell you all the compliments I have received about the dress and everyone wanting to know where I got it! I would highly recommending trying them out first!

Wonderful Experience

Classic Bride was the first and ONLY place that I went to for my wedding dress! I went in on a whim and not knowing if I was going to find a dress that day and they ended up having my absolute dream dress, one that I had pinned on Pinterest several times, and I knew from the moment of trying it on that it was the one. Classic Bride is the best!

They helped me create the dress of my dreams by helping me order my gown’s designer’s lace for my veil to provide me with the customized look I was looking for! I went in thinking I wanted a ballgown and decided I felt more beautiful in a sheath fit. With Phaedra’s help I was able to have my “princess” look still by adding the customized cathedral veil. I’d highly recommend Classic Bride to any bride! They are the sweetest people and so helpful.

Super affordable with a great selection! I found it extremely hard to find a place with both! Phaedra and her team are super sweet and aren't pushy. They were totally fine with me leaving the first time to try out a few other places. Ultimately bought my dress from there and they took care of me until my wedding day! Highly recommend!

Perfect dress, perfect place

My daughter and I went to Classic Bride in 2018 to purchase a gown for her 2019 wedding. We wanted to shop locally and had heard wonderful things about C B for years. We were not disappointed! We had wonderful one on one attention and our consultant was excellent! My daughter tried on lots of gowns and all styles, but it was the final ‘wildcard’ pick that was The Dress!!! We returned another time to purchase her veil and were taken care of by the Owner, Phaedra. Again, we received a wonderful customer service and Phaedra could not have been more kind and caring. We found the perfect veil to complement her perfect dress. I would give more than five stars if I could. I highly recommend Classic Bride and Formals to any bride searching for her perfect dress !

Great Service and Selection

Absolutely amazing to work with! Classic Bride made getting my dress feel so personal with a one-on-one appointment in our own room while I searched for my dress. Their prices are reasonable and fair compared to a few other shops I visited in the area, and they were great to work with. They even offered to steam my dress and veil the week of so we could pick it up the day before. Would recommend to anyone in the Charlotte/Lake Norman area!

I highly recommend Classic Bride! Phaedra was so incredibly sweet and helpful, as was her bridal consultant. I felt very welcome and comfortable. They allowed me to look without feeling rushed or pressured. They were quick to offer advice when I asked, and they read my style preferences very well. They had a wonderfully large selection of dresses of all different styles! I loved the one on one so that I could easily make my decisions and they were very patient with me. I appreciated the honesty when I asked about details regarding the reality of last minute alterations when finalizing on my dress. And after I bought my dress I appreciated all of the business contacts for vendors, etc for all my wedding needs. I also very much appreciated their recommendation for an alterations business- one being John Emily Alterations in Charlotte. They were wonderful too! Highly Recommend!

Classic Bride is by far the BEST bridal shop! I had two appointments before finding my dress and each were equally great visits. For my first visit, Tara and Phaedra helped me. They were both so patient and kind as I was super indecisive on what kind of dress I wanted. The Classic Bride team contacted me after my appointment with a personalized thank you card in the mail as well as an e-mail and text message inviting me back in if I had not found my perfect dress. I went on a second visit to the shop and still was unsure of my dress. When talking about other dresses I had tried on, Phaedra told me she knew the one dress I was talking about was my dress, I just didn't know it yet. Phaedra did not have the dress in stock, but offered me a "try and buy." She found the dress, in my size, and ordered it for me. Needless to say, it ended up being my perfect dress! Even though it was about a 45 minute drive, every visit to Classic Bride was well worth the trip. The personalized service and attentiveness to brides is one of a kind. I am proud to be part of the Classic Bride family!

the people and the selection are second to none!

Classic Bride has the best selection of elegant, timeless pieces with unique, edgier twists that I found in the Charlotte/ Lake Norman area. Tara immediately understood my vision and was able to provide suggestions that I might not had ordinarily selected, but that ended up being my favorites and finally the ONE. The entire process was enjoyable and they gave me some really sweet swag to help commemorate finding the perfect gown which made the experience that much more enjoyable. My only wish is that they had an in house seamstress, but they make up for it by offering a great list of suggestions.

Classic Bride was the absolute best through my whole wedding dress journey. On my first visit (June 2017) I ended up finding my dress, and they made it so easy to do so. Kristy helped me select the perfect belt to add some bling to my dress. On my next visit, I bought my veil and wedding earrings too! The kept my dress at the shop for a few months after it came in because I mentioned that I had a cat and they wanted to help me keep it perfect! After alterations, they steamed the dress and veil for free and made that process effortless. They did such a great job that even after a 1.5 hour trip home from Classic Bride and a 10 hour trip to our wedding, I didn't even have to touch up the steaming! I refer everyone I know to this shop because they are without a doubt the best :) Thank you Classic Bride team for helping such a stressful part of wedding planning so easy!!!

Classic Bride & Formals was amazing, from my first appoint to my wedding day! Tara was incredible during my appointment. I knew the silhouette and style dress I wanted, but she was able to combine what I loved with what I didn't see. She found the dress that matched everything I wanted. It fit and flattered me perfectly. They were helpful getting me into and out of dresses, pinning them on me so I could get a real feel for the dresses. I was even able to utilize their end-of-year sale for a free vail and discount! They were very flexible with appointment scheduling. I forgot to bring my vail to the steaming and they were able to do it for me on the spot when I picked up my dress. Phaedra and her team are incredible! I felt beautiful and perfect on my wedding day thanks to that dress!

The team at Classic Bride & Formals went above and beyond my expectations for finding my wedding dress! From their quick responses to helping me find the perfect dress, I always felt listened to, appreciated, and respected. After trying on a few dresses, my maid of honor and I found one that neither of us were crazy about because of the colors but decided to try it on anyway. Kristy immediately told me that the dress came in different colors! Although Venus Bridal did not have any pictures of the dress in the ivory/ivory option, Classic Bridal helped piece together a "vision" to help ease my mind with choosing a dress that I hadn't really seen. When the dress came in, we were all IN LOVE!! So pleased and happy with all of the help at Classic Bridal!! Highly recommend!

I came from out of town to buy my dress and the ladies at Classic Bride were so helpful and easy to work with! I tried on several dresses that my maid of honor and mother had picked off the racks but none of them were really cutting it for me... but the person helping me found one she thought I'd like and it ended up being The One! Highly recommend this shop. Easy payment, easy pick up, and friendly staff.

Incredible service. Ordered my wedding gown long before becoming pregnant. They set me up with an awesome seamstress who made sure the gown was suppose to fit me all along (even though I was 7 months pregnant).

Phaedra and the staff at Classic bride were amazing! I already had a first dress that I changed my mind on and they quickly helped me find the perfect dress and get it in time to be altered for the wedding. They were very personable and made me feel special and not just another number. They also ordered several packs of appliqué that I wanted to add to my train and only charged me for what I needed. My consultant ended up picking the dress that was “the one” despite my description of the dress I was looking for not martching that dress at all! I searched several bridal shops in the Charlotte area (plus a couple outside) and saved the best for last..Classic Bride and Formals!
I purchased my beautiful Maggie Sottero from them and couldn't have been happier. My gown arrived within four months, just like the Classic Bride team told me it would and their customer service is awesome. They are very responsive and available by phone call, email and text! I went to many other bridal shops, and all of them were way out of my price range, and honestly didn't have anything like what I was looking for. I LOVED the one-on-one attention you get at this shop. I went to a shop in South end where you are in a dressing room with up to 10 other girls and sharing mirrors. Having your own personal room in a cute little house was so intimate and wonderful. It was quiet and relaxing and I didn't feel rushed, anxious, or overwhelmed like I did at other stores. The staff was the best part and was so so helpful. I found exactly what I wanted for cheaper than I thought I would spend (Well under $1000). Couldn't recommend this shop enough!

I absolutely enjoyed my gown search experience at classic bride. Hey met every need, question and request. The followed up and kept me aware of appts and when my beautiful gown arrived. This place is amazing! We bought my bridal gown and some of my bridesmaids dresses from here. I live 2 hours from Cornelius and made multiple trips back and forth because there is no service that compares to what these ladies give. I shopped at 5 to 10 other places before finding them and never looked back. My mother fell ill weeks before the wedding and Kristi personally checked in to see how she was doing, even after all of our purchases were completed. I cannot say enough about this place. Brides, if you go anywhere other than Classic Bride and Formals, you are selling yourself short. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience!!!

My entire experience, start to finish, was made so simple by Phaedra & Kristy! They helped me in and out of a number of dresses until the last one, a Ti Adora trunk show special, hit the mark! Luckily they had a long sleeve...which are more difficult to find. Classic had a few options while others had none. Thank you for the additional complimentary veil & steaming! I worked with Kristy at Classic Bride and she was an absolute gem!! She was super helpful! She cam to understand the style I was looking for AND she was always mindful of my budget! If I even touched a dress that was going to be way over, she would let me know that it was more than I wanted to spend AND then would help me find one within my budge but similar! She was really amazing to work with! They also kept my dress clean and pressed for me there between the time I purchased and my wedding! (For Free!!) This is a little shop that will totally catch you by surprise! They genuinely have so many options and are amazing to work with! I can't thank them enough!!

It was a pleasure shopping at Classic Brides and Formals! Kristy was so helpful and so patient. They have a great selection and great quality dresses. It's a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. They made the process of picking out my dress a wonderful experience that I will cherish forever.

Kristy was amazing when I came in to try on dresses with my mom and sisters. She brought me a variety of styles and then suggested a few she thought I'd love- and she was right! The dress I fell in love with was one she picked out for me!! She was always offering jewelry and accessory suggestions for me and my bridesmaids. I adore her!

I love this place! The ladies there are so wonderful and my consultant Tara was amazing and helped me find my dream dress! They make you feel like a bride and take care of you where as other places only care about the money they make. Classic Bride and Formals actually takes the time to know you and care for you.

Wow... These ladies are so sweet ...caring .. And patient and example of TRUE customer service ..... I looked at several shops for the perfect dress and kept coming back to this shop and "the dress" .. The treatment I got on day 1 in between and final was impressive . I was so wishy washy with my decision .. Through ..calls texts and emails these ladies always were there in a positive way an understanding way and never once did I feel as if I wasn't a customer they wanted to help even if it wasn't a sure sell .. .. Still after purchasing the dress they wanted to help guide me with any other wedding needs .. Love this shop ... Highly recommend it and them. Thank you ... Thank you Thank you
