Phenomenal Photographer

I couldn't be happier that Claire captured our wedding June 2025. She is calm, level-headed, and has an unbelievable creative eye for all the perfect wedding day details. Every moment she captured meant so much. Her second shooter, Allison, was also lovely to work with. They are both consummate professionals and stellar at what they do.

The quality of our photos and highlight video are truly second to none and I'm so grateful these are the memories we have captured for a lifetime.

Talented and personable. Claire is your perfect wedding day photographer

We can’t say enough about Claire and our photos. The photos came out great and we love them, but one of the best parts about working with Claire is her genuine personality, 1:1 focus/attention and her ability to maneuver a crowd. Claire took her time to ensure my wife and I were comfortable all throughout the individual photo shoots and was precise in her timing by ensuring we got all of the shots that we wanted while keeping the show on time. We were thoroughly impressed with her ability to get all of the group photos done in a manner that wasn’t pushy, but extremely efficient and direct - a skill we noticed at friends’ weddings that oftentimes was missing, but not with Claire.

Claire is a talented photographer with a steady hand and just a great all around person to work with. Go with Claire, you won’t be disappointed!

Easy and amazing

Breathtaking photos, pleasure to work with!

Claire blew our expectations out of the water!! Her photos were absolutely breathtaking and she was so kind and professional to work with. The photo albums she designed for us were stunning. Her husband, Andy, also made us truly beautiful bridal and wedding videos. Out of all our vendors, Claire and Andy were definitely the best. We could not have asked for better photographers! Professional, Easy to work with, flexible and adoptable

I've seen Claire Marika and Andy in "action" at my friends wedding and at ours, also engagement and bridal photo sessions. Their professionalism, patience and flexibility, above and beyond people skills and many other great traits make them the best at their profession.
Our pictures and videos turned out so beautiful, every time we look at them I (and my family) tear up. If you are looking for a photographer and videographer, look no more - Claire and Andy are your find that you do not want to miss!
Today 6 months since our wedding, and honestly, there are not many things that we have left from our wedding (no cake, no flowers, no dresses...) but we have our pictures and videos that we look at almost on a daily basis! what a waste when brides stress out about all of these little details and hire a photographer who can't properly capture it. Claire and Andy are the best at what they do! They know, anticipate and feel exactly what all brides want - they will make sure that everything goes smoothly and perfectly on The Day Of! They have mine and my husband's the highest admiration! i can't recommend them highly enough. They are truly THE BEST! And by the way, we've got our photos so fast (we were still on our honeymoon!)

Quality Work with a Reliable Professional

It was a wonderful experience working with Claire on our wedding photos. I say “working” because Claire was extremely professional throughout the entire process. She was very responsive to my questions and provided ample communication around what to expect each step of the way.
We had a lot of requests and a big wedding party, but she was able to work with to get all of the group photos we wanted. She was also creative in suggesting some other group shots based on the lighting and setting that we wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. We loved the way the shots turned out and her eye for the candid moments that happened behind the scenes. We highly recommend Claire and can’t thank her enough for capturing our special day so perfectly.

Claire Marika Photography -- Light, Beauty, & Candid Moments

I wanted to take a moment and truly thank Claire and Andy for their phenomenal work! I did my extensive research for the perfect photographer/videographer and the moment we met at a bridal expo we knew booking their services would be the best decision we would make while planning our wedding. Claire has the light, beauty, and candid moments we wanted to capture in our special day.

When meeting them it felt like we’d met up with old friends, they have a great sense of humor and through the long and fast-moving wedding day directed us and our very large families perfectly while blending into the background to capture those raw moments beautifully. We were worried about posing for photos but they made us feel very relaxed and enabling natural moments to be photographed. Claire’s passion and enthusiasm to capture every moment shone all throughout our formals/wedding day, and she absolutely blew us away with her talent.

We cannot thank them enough for their work, we absolutely LOVE our formals/wedding day pictures and video. It has been a joy having the opportunity to relive our wedding day through photos/videos with our family and friends feeling laughter and tears. Claire captures all the little moments that on the day I didn’t have an opportunity to cherish, shoes, cufflinks, seating cards, etc. Their work is now proudly displayed throughout our home.

Once again, we cannot thank/recommend them both enough for doing an incredible job capturing our fondest memories on our day and for being so incredible to work with. Flawless Experience - Pick Them!!

I cannot recommend Claire and her husband Andy highly enough! I am a photographer, so picking a photographer for my wedding was the hardest part of wedding planning for me - until I found Claire Marika Photography. Everything was effortless, professionally done, BEAUTIFUL, and we felt like we made new best friends when we met with Claire and Andy. I love the classic, timeless style Claire accomplishes. You know you can fully trust her and her business. From before even signing the contracts, to well after the wedding, everything will exceed your expectations. If you're even remotely interested in video along with photography, DO IT and chose Claire and Andy! They make you feel so comfortable and even if you're stressed during the big day, none of that will show in these images that last a lifetime. Claire captured our wedding day perfectly!

From the moment we met Claire, we knew we'd found the right photographer! We were immediately drawn to her style and loved that it felt like us. Her photos aren't over-edited and feature tons of natural light. This is what we wanted and we were so pleased with the end result. We loved working with her for our engagements, pre-wedding and wedding day photography and we have the most beautiful photos to show for it! Warm, friendly, "fast on the draw".

I am a DJ who sees a LOT of photographers in action. Last night at Red Butte Gardens I was very impressed with how quick she was to be in the right place at the right time to capture the heart of what was happening. I asked her about her philosophy, and she said "It's my job to capture the moment." It surely seemed she was doing just that. She was so fast and comfortable with her equipment. AND, she was so NICE to be around. There are a lot of photographers that you wonder whether they really wanted to be there. Claire was so warm and friendly. She is excellent!

Loved working with Claire. She's the best!

I had the good fortune of finding Claire's Instagram page last year when I needed some updated pictures. Working with her was pleasant and easy, and the pictures exceeded my expectations.

When my now husband and I got engaged earlier this year, I knew immediately I wanted to work with Claire. As a newly engaged couple, we had no idea where to start or how to plan a wedding. When we met with Claire, she provided helpful guidance on vendors and venues. Throughout the planning process, we had a lot of questions, and I frequently emailed Claire asking for help. She always responded quickly with sound advice.

In both our engagement and bridal sessions, Claire was a true professional. She kept things moving, made us feel comfortable, and took advantage of the natural light and setting. We never felt like our poses were forced or contrived.

Prior to our wedding, we had a few check-in calls with Claire, and as always, we knew she had every detail covered. Working with a tight time frame, she managed to capture all the special moments of our wedding day and wrangle family members for group pictures. She also caught the fun, lighthearted moments between us and our guests.

Thanks to Claire, we have a great collection of professional photos that will always be a fond reminder of our wedding day.

Amazing wedding photographer

Hiring Claire was one of the best decisions we made in wedding planning. My parents work in the wedding industry and had a lot of photographers who were wanting to come shoot our special day. But we wanted to be sure we picked someone of course talented, but also friendly, who would understand the direction we wanted to take and let us go with it without micromanaging every detail. Claire was cooperative and gracious throughout our almost year long engagement and always quick to respond. We did a portrait session with her a few months before the wedding that was perfect as well. On the actual wedding day, there was no stress coming from Claire. She gave us space when we wanted it, but was there to capture the cutest and most special moments without being an interruption. Kind of like a photo ninja :). She provided a great first look location idea and a great second shooter, and was more than flexible when we ended up asking to add on hours to get some extra photography time in. The best part really came when we got our initial set of prints in the mail, wow! Seeing photos on your computer is one thing, but seeing the prints Claire created was something else. We want to frame all of them! The sunset photos we took are ones we will especially cherish for the rest of our lives. For further proof of how great Claire is, she snuck outside and took some amazing shots of our venue with the stars lighting up the night sky, which is something we had asked for almost 1 year ago, and she remembered when we didn't! Thanks again Claire and we plan to use you again for the next life event!

Claire was perfect. She was extremely skilled and you could tell she had done this enough times to know what worked. She had the best locations for taking pictures and knew her stuff. Besides her skill, she was very friendly, courteous, and easy to get along with... by the end of the wedding I felt like we were old friends. She turned the pictures around very quickly and they came out better than I could have imagined. Honestly she is worth the cost, I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Claire is the kind of photographer you dream of having for your wedding day. It is a bit stressful choosing someone who will be responsible for all the pictures of your special day, but she was perfect. Claire does a wonderful job focusing on you - - what style you like, what specific shots you want, who is who in your wedding party, etc. She is quick to respond, asks the right questions, and eliminates stress so you can just enjoy the experience. Her happy and friendly nature makes her easy to work with, and she was consistently the quickest responder of all the wedding services I worked with. Claire also goes above and beyond, sending thank you cards, and "sneak peaks" so you feel like you're her favorite client (even though she has hundreds). She was recommended to me by another photographer who said "if I were getting married again, I'd ask Claire to shoot my wedding." I now can say the same.

We used Claire for our Engagement Session and our Wedding day. She is a wonderful photographer as well as a wonderful person to have around on your wedding day. We did a first look session which was orchestrated perfectly. She is great at capturing both posed and candid moments. She is also incredibly organized and talented at corralling large family groups and keeping to a timeline.
We got our digital images in almost half the time that was expected so that was a wonderful surprise. In addition we received a small album and box of prints which we are incredibly grateful for.
We love our photos and are looking forward to having them in our home.

We are super happy we went with Claire for our wedding and engagement photos! She really went the extra mile. For our engagements, she stayed extra time just to help us capture all the shots that we wanted. After our experience of having beautiful Engagements and gorgeous Wedding pictures, there aren't enough good things I can say about Claire, but I'll try my best.

My mom and I first met Claire at a local bridal show almost TWO years before my Wedding. We were walking through the booths when suddenly we came across Claire's–easily the classiest and most professional at the show. (I think it looked like an art gallery, with its own white display walls and photo albums neatly set up on tables.)

It was a combination of her easy, down-to-earth demeanor, her talent, and the lighting and vibrancy in her photos that hooked us from that moment, and I KNEW then Claire would be our photographer.

Over a year later, at our Engagements, the experience couldn't have gone more smoothly! My FH felt very comfortable (and he's not someone that likes getting pictures taken of him). Although he's adorable 24/7, somehow he manages to look like a $1M in every picture Claire takes of him. Not to mention we both also manage to look very cute in every posed and candid shot she thinks of.

Then came our Wedding Day. Thanks to Claire, we have some priceless and timeless memories that we'll cherish forever. We also felt so comfortable when they were shooting pictures of us, and all our guests couldn't stop complimenting them. To be honest, time FLIES when you're working with Claire.

We got ALL our edited(!) pictures two weeks after the Big Day they capture ALL the beautiful moments as perfectly as they could (and even those I didn't know had happened!), they show everyone glowing, and I can't emphasize enough how vibrant they are.

I've been telling Claire since I met her that she'll be documenting all our important milestones for as long as she's working, so all you future clients of hers better not book her too much :). DO consider hiring her for your special days! You'll love her, her aesthetic, her personality, her quality, everything.

Claire was, for lack of better words, amazing! My sister used Claire for her wedding and my other sister hired her for help on a book so I knew that I needed her for our wedding. Claire did an amazing job right from the beginning. My wife and I live in Oregon but had our wedding in Utah and Claire was so flexible and even agreed to face time us for a meet and greet. During the wedding she was so professional yet easy going which was so wonderful. She was not only there for us physically, but emotionally as well! She made me feel so comfortable during the pictures. The way she captured our guest and all the candid photos were amazing. I am obsessed with our pictures. Claire got our pictures to us in a timely manner, which was so impressive. Claire really did an amazing job before, during and after the wedding. She is truly the gift that keeps on giving! Claire was one of the first wedding decisions Eric and I made. Claire was so professional in emails and on initial meeting. Her presentation of packages she sends are lovely. I opted to do a package in which I got engagements, print credits, album, bridals, and 10 hours of wedding photography. It was so worth it!! Claire is the sweetest and most flexible photographer who is always concerned with what you like and what you are looking for. I knew I wanted Claire at my wedding after seeing her photograph my best friend's wedding years ago! She was the first vendor I reached out to during wedding planning, because I wanted to snatch her up quick before someone else did. Luckily she was free to fly from UT to DC to shoot my wedding in November! Communicating with Claire over e-mail and phone was a breeze, because she's tech savvy. I always appreciated her timely responses. Her professionalism and genial personality really helped lighten the stress of wedding planning. During the wedding she was able to capture so many wonderful moments, not only of my husband and I, but so many of our guests as well! 2 months later, revisiting wedding photos still brings a smile to my face!

Claire met and exceeded all of our expectations. I have a lot of friends who are professional photographers and my standards are very high. It was important to me to have someone that made me comfortable (awkward photos are the worst!), who listened to my wants & needs, and who could capture incredible images. I'm glad that we did an engagement session with Claire before our wedding so that we could get to know each other more and be that much more comfortable. not only are her images stunning, but her editing and color work are out of this world. The worst part of the process is having to choose which photos to print and to turn into an album because there are thousands of incredible photos. I'd highly recommend working with Claire!

I can't even say what I love most about Claire! My husband and I were so comfortable during the entire process. We laughed, we talked, she catered to our every need. She wanted it to be exactly what we wanted - and that's what we got! She is extremely flexible with pricing and timing as well. I recommend her to everyone in a heartbeat. She remembers every detail. She allowed me to share my pinterest boards with her of the most important poses that I wanted and the feel/setting I wanted as well. She was open to new ideas that I came up with on the spot and helped give me ideas when I just wanted someone to tell us what to do. Instead of feeling like a rigid photography session we felt more like we were just living our lives and she was capturing the most precious moments of it. Thank you, Claire. :)

Claire is simply the BEST! She was so accommodating with our specific requests, as not only did we have several photos that were very important to us but she also needed to blend with our guests as we had a surprise wedding. She took care of details the week before, which means she was completely fluid during our wedding- taking so much stress out of an already hectic day. The photos took a couple weeks to get back, but Claire totally helped us out and got our important photos back to us by the time we got back from our honeymoon! Her cost was beyond reasonable, and she was more than happy to put a package together that fit us perfectly. I can't imagine that anyone would have captured more beautiful and charismatic pictures than Claire, and I want her to photograph all of our big milestones!

We were worried hiring a photographer and videographer separately but found Claire on here and then got a recommendation from a friend. Claire was so easy to work with getting everything planned for our big day. She responded quickly to emails and checked in regularly to keep abreast of new ideas/requests. The day of the wedding she showed up early and got right to work. Claire worked so well with our videographer planning shots and maximizing our time away from our guests that many people assumed she and the videographer were married. We got our photos quickly and they turned out stunning! I highly recommend Claire for her photography skills as well as her wonderful personality.

Claire was beyond fun to work with and made all of our requests happen! I had a long, long list of requests due to big families and she really did a beautiful job for us. The wedding pictures were not stressful at all, and she did a good job corralling our group. My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with how professional she was and the memories she captured for us. She has beautiful touches, and even sent a post-wedding package with our proofs printed and our USB drive, in the cutest packaging! Claire is an amazing photographer. I told Claire I had some ideas of certain poses and settings I wanted for my engagements on my pinterest. Claire printed off pictures from my pinterest and brought them to the engagement photo session. During the engagement session and the wedding she asked if there were any photo ideas we had that we hadn't done yet. Claire also helped me create a timeline for the flow of the wedding. She worked really well with our DJ to make sure she knew when special photo moments were going to happen. My husband and I are not very photogenic, but she was able to capture the best of us in all her photos. We are so glad Claire was able to be there for our special day.

When my husband and I started wedding planning, our biggest concern was our budget and how much everything would cost. Now that we are married, I have to say that spending the extra money on a professional photographer is so worth it! Claire was able to customize a package for us that fit in our budget, and the experience we had with her was truly priceless. Claire is the perfect balance of someone who is fun and flexible, yet extremely organized and focused. Her turnaround time on photo editing is so much faster than a lot of people in the business. Not to mention, all of unexpected the little extras and personal touches she included with our photos. Claire is a great photographer, she is professional, produces high quality work, and even gave us some bonus goodies in our package with our edited wedding pictures. Choosing her as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. My biggest fear was cost, I knew that a quality photographer would be pricey and it was worth every penny. Our final bill was almost exactly what we budgeted for a photographer, which was great. Our favorite part about working with Claire was how comfortable and special she made us feel. It was an easy decision to go with her after we met with her twice to review services and pricing. Claire Marika was the best decision I made for my wedding. I was so nervous picking a photographer. I wanted to make sure the quality was there, as well as the taste level. I also wanted the photographs to tell the story of my wedding night, and she did just that. Claire's work surpassed my every expectation. Her photos are high quality, she gets the perfect shots (candid and posed), and she has a classy style - no corny photos here. Claire listened to my vision and executed it perfectly. She is QUICK to get you proofs and final photos. I never found myself waiting for Claire. She is super on top of it, responsive, and very professional. I also used Claire's husband, Andy, to do my wedding video. Working with the two of them was a dream; they work so well together. It was perfect. I even asked to do my wedding video a little different than normal, and he executed it exactly how I imagined. It was better than expected. The cherry on top... with Claire, you get all of this and she is reasonably priced. I love my photos and wedding video. No regrets here!

Finding a photographer was very important to me! I absolutely love photography and I wanted to find someone amazing to create lifelong memories of my wedding day. I went to the SLC bridal show in search of a photographer and we visited many booths. When I met Claire and reviewed her work, I knew I was going to pick her! Her work was amazing but she was also so kind and personable. She did my engagements first and absolutely captured us as a couple perfectly. I also wanted our doggies in the photographs- she was so open to the idea and was happy to put up the extra work to capture great photos with them too. Then came the big day! She had emailed me a survey to fill out before so she knew exactly what I wanted, which I thought was so helpful and comforting. She was on time and seemed excited to be there, gave me compliments, and started her work. Throughout the day she captured everything I wanted- getting ready photos, ceremony photos, family group photos, bride & groom photos, and reception photos. She made sure to reference back to the survey I had filled out so he was getting everything I wanted. My photos turned out beautifully- I am so thrilled. Claire came recommended to us from a friend. We were a little skeptical since we had never heard of her before, but our fears were quickly laid to rest. Aside from having an incredible eye for capturing a moment, Claire has a way of making each photo shoot feel like you're just hanging out with a friend while still being very professional. Claire was AMAZING to work with and her pictures were incredible! She was very thorough before the wedding and went over which shots I would like, and any tricky family dynamics she should be aware of. On my wedding day she showed up right when she said she would and did a fantastic job of fitting right into whatever was going on while never being in the way. She caught every perfect moment and detail (even the things I didn't notice that day) and her pictures turned out beautiful. We have had so many compliments on our photos and many of our friends ordered pictures from that day because she captured amazing shots of the guests as well! To top it all off she gave us an awesome gift of a photo album with some of the best shots as well as many prints from our day. Our wedding planner suggested Claire for our Photography and as soon as I met her I knew she was the one. I had no idea what I was doing or what to expect and Claire took the time to walk me through it to make sure I didn't miss anything. When planning a wedding you have so much to worry about but for me I never had to worry about the photography. Claire did check ins with me during the time leading up to the big day, was quick to get back to me with any questions, and when my make up and hair took longer and it totally rearranged the timeline for photography she handled it seamlessly! What is even more awesome is her husband does Videography and they make an amazing team. The memories she captured are priceless. I would recomend any bride to be to use Claire Marika Photography if you want quality, stress free, and reasonable pricing. I was nervous about selecting the right photographer for our wedding since it can be a big expense and it's really the only wedding expense that lasts beyond the wedding day. So I did a TON of research and compared many photographers in the area. Luckily I came across Claire. Not only was her pricing fair but her portfolio was beautiful and her professionalism was obvious from the beginning. I also loved that I could work with her for both photo and video. She was so responsive to emails and I felt like I had someone else on my side that genuinely cared about making my wedding a day to remember. My husband and I were completely sold after we both had such a fun experience shooting the engagement photos (something we were both nervous about). Then to top it off, within a few hours of getting home Claire had already edited a few shots for us that same night and we loved them! From that point we were positive we made the right choice for our wedding photography. The night of the wedding, guests were commenting on what great moments and video coverage were being caught by the photographer and videographer and we have gotten so many compliments on the photos and video in the months following our wedding. I feel like I could go on and on but to sum it up - I am a raving fan and would highly recommend Claire and use her again without a doubt! The little touches like the follow up thank you card and package we received from her since the wedding just go to show how much she really cares and loves what she does.

Claire and her husband did an excellent on my daughter's wedding! We visited many Bridal Fairs before finding Claire. My daughter and I found an instant rapport with both of them. She provided engagement photos, bridal photos, wedding and reception photos. The photo shoots were at various locations and Claire was always prompt and ready to go every time. I purchased a parent's album and a large canvas wrapped photo for the reception. All I did was choose the pictures I wanted for the album and Claire did the rest. The result was absolutely fabulous and second-to-none. Working with Claire was a pleasure and I plan on purchasing more photos from her. The video of my daughter's special day was precious. I will always call Claire for any of my future photo needs and recommend her for any occasion you may be needing an awesome photographer!!

Claire is such an amazing photographer. It's really too bad I can only give her five stars, because I had a wonderful time working with her. I first used Claire for our engagement photos, and they are stunning. This was our first experience with a professional photographer, so I was feeling a little nervous about the whole thing. That feeling went away quickly, because she was so easy going and she gave us such great direction.

Not only is Claire very talented, but she was fun to work with too. She really put me at ease on the day of my wedding by having a clear plan for how the pictures would go. When my family showed up late, she was able to roll with it and still get all the group shots I wanted and we didn't have to push back the time of the ceremony at all!

I am so pleased I chose Claire for my wedding photos, because she has a knack for capturing moments between people. I am so thankful for all the details she was able to capture. I would recommend Claire to anyone in the market for a wedding photographer- she will not disappoint!

We worked with Claire for our wedding in September. The most difficult vendor to choose was by far the photographer, mostly because there are SO MANY to choose from and they are responsible for documenting the most memorable day of our lives so we wanted someone who knew what they were doing. We saw Claire at a bridal show and she was the first photographer booth we came to. I was so impressed with her work but I didn't have anything to really compare it to. After seeing probably 100+ other photographers we decided on Claire for both photography and videography. Claire and her husband were so great to work with! They were always able to work with our schedules and were prompt with getting us our finished products. She is easy to get in touch with and responds to emails super quick! I would recommend Claire to anyone! Also - the canvas wrapped photos and the albums were very high quality. Very impressed!

I picked up Claire's info from a bridal expo and my fiancé and I decided to meet with her based on how impressed we were with the pictures on her website. She came to the meeting with many photo books and examples of her work, which were all excellent. Claire made a great first impression - she was on time, professional, very outgoing and happy to answer all our questions. We decided to book her with a custom package, which was very reasonably priced, and I'm so happy we did. All of our impressions of her from our initial meeting held true through the whole process. I actually never had to get a hold of Claire with any questions, she initiated contact with me either just to check in, or remind me of the due dates for the shot list, final payment, etc., which I really appreciated since I had so many deadlines and dates in my head.

The day of the wedding she and the second photographer showed up right on time and made sure everything went smoothly - they made sure to get all the shots I requested and had some great ideas for poses and backgrounds. Nothing felt forced or obtrusive. The next day she had a few pictures for me to preview, along with sending me an email letting me know the timeframe for getting all the pictures back (which was 6 weeks). Exactly 6 weeks later I had the online gallery of all the shots and the disks were in the mail, just like she had promised. We couldn't have been happier with the pictures she took, they're amazing and we're so excited to get our completed album and hang our favorites.

Overall a wonderful experience with Claire Marika Photography, I would highly recommend her.

I was so fearful about finding the right photographer. There are so many out there to choose from and I was worried if they would actually be honest and deliver everything they promised. Claire just fit right in with our group. It was so comforting to know we were dealing with someone so talented and educated. I love how we got to keep all the photos on a disc. She keeps the true integrity of the photo and only enhances them, without too much editing. She also has an awesome printing company she goes through to give you the best pictures possible. Claire does such an amazing job and totally exceeded our expectations. I would recommend her to anyone!

Claire is absolutely amazing and super easy to work with! Her work is very classy and the presentation of everything is fabulous! I was more than impressed with her work! When I was looking for a wedding photographer I was really worried about finding one that fit our style. There were a lot of different tastes and styles out there and I was afraid we wouldn't find someone we both liked. We met Claire at a bridal fair. Immediately I sensed something different. She wasn't trying to sell herself to me. She was very low pressure and let me look through her photos without making me feel like I needed to decide right away. She was the only vendor that stood out to me leaving that bridal fair. We did our research and kept coming back to Claire. She had a beautiful website and her photography was classy and we felt like it really captured the people she photographed. She wasn't posing people but rather catching them in their natural element. I set up a meeting with Claire and again, felt low pressure and like I had made a new friend. She is very personable while being professional also. Once I booked Claire, I never had to worry about photography again. She was so on top of things. She contacted me in advance of Bridals and Wedding to double check we had everything ready and set up. She was organized and very quick to get back to me and return our photos. I would absolutely work with Claire again and I plan on recommending her to family and friends that are getting married. Question #1: “What was your biggest fear when searching for a photographer? Did it come true, and if not, what happened instead?”

By biggest fear when searching for a photographer was getting poor quality photographs and not having one of the biggest days of my life captured in a special way. Claire quickly proved my fears to be wrong, but surpassed any expectations I ever had. The pictures I have are amazing and are something I will treasure for a lifetime. I was always worried about scheduling because my wedding was in the middle of prime wedding season and also because I am a full time student and work part time. Again, Claire was amazing and was very flexible with her scheduling. During our scheduled times I felt like I was her number one priority. While I wish money wasn't a factor, it is in today's world. I wanted a quality photographer but didn't want to pay and arm and a leg for one. I feel like you pay for what you get and Claire's services were reasonably priced and again the photos were amazing.

Question #2: What, specifically, was your favorite part of working with me, and why?”

Working with Claire was such a positive and upbeat experience. You knew right away that she has a passion for photography and realizes that your wedding day is special. I loved how she listened to what I wanted and didn't want and always responded to my emails literally within 10 minutes sometimes. She was always on time to any scheduled meetings and always came prepared. Working with her was not stressful, but a pleasure. Photography was never something that I had to worry about on my wedding day.

Question #3: “If you were to recommend me to your best friend, what would you say?”

If I were to recommend Claire to my best friend I would say, "DO IT NOW!!!!!" As mentioned above she was punctual,passionate, and her photographs are absolutely stunning. You won't be disappointed if you book with Claire.

Claire photographed our wedding ceremony, reception, and bridal photos. She did an amazing job at capturing all the details I expected from her at our Laotion/Thai traditional wedding. We didn't have a american wedding which most photographers would be used to. We had many cultural differences, but she was very open minded and learned what was important to us.

Our bridal shoot was at Thanksgiving point which she had recommended and I could not be happier with these photos. She guided my husband and I through different poses and scenery. The editing was not too photo shopped which I appreciated. She just brought out the natural beauty in the greenery surrounding us and highlighted the sun for a nice glow.

I was recommended to her by my sisters friend who flew her out to work on their wedding in Mexico and I was very excited when I saw their photo's. I definitely recommend her to anyone who wants quality work!

My wedding was absolutely the happiest day of my life: there were so many magical moments that I wanted to relive. Claire and Andy perfectly captured the joy of the day! They seemed to be everywhere I wanted. Every moment that was important to me (and so many others!) made it in the gorgeous photos and the sweet video. We loved the combination of still shots and the video because the memories are so complete.

Claire is absolutely delightful to work with. She helped me to think through what I wanted ahead of time and she was there every step of the way. She was never in the way of the spontaneous, but she still knew how to command a crowd (what a great combo!). She’s incredibly professional and so is the quality of her work, but she’s also personable and encouraging–just what a bride needs. I came across Claire at a bridal show quite a few months before our wedding date and we immediately decided we’d love for her to photograph our wedding. We’d talked to quite a few photographers before hand and I actually had someone in mind (that I thought I was settled on) that I planned on seeing at the show. Well we decided not to book with them and saw Claire and Andy a couple of aisles down and had the greatest first impression. She was so sincere and genuinely nice that it was hard not to want to work with her! You could tell that she and Andy knew what they were doing and they had such reasonable prices that without a doubt, we knew we’d found our photographer.

Fast forward through a 14-month engagement and Claire was always incredibly professional yet personal throughout the entire process. She always answered any questions we had extremely quickly and never hesitated to help us through a ton of stuff we had no idea about. Our engagement session is still one of my favorite parts of the whole journey, and we received so many compliments on our wedding album and video. They were great at involving the subjects of the pictures when they had to and being invisible when they needed to be. I can honestly say that our experience with them was one of the best out of our entire wedding. Thank you SO much Claire and Andy for being so great at what you do!

That Claire is an extremely talented photographer was a given; we had seen her work and admired wedding photos of friends. Claire and Andy were so wonderful to work with! They were fun and friendly and did a wonderful job making us all feel comfortable. They were also really flexible and accommodated a hectic schedule and my large family—all while staying totally calm! Claire came to our wedding venues the day before to take pictures of my fiancé and me and of our families so that our wedding day wouldn’t be so busy. She had great ideas for poses and locations. Claire’s photography and Andy’s videography were fantastic. I love how their work has such great personality, lighting, and color. I'm a graphic designer and I really care a lot about style, composition, color and lighting, and Claire fulfilled all my expectations. They really captured the mood and theme we wanted. I couldn’t possibly recommend working with Claire more. She is extremely patient and easy to work with. Before our engagement session and wedding day, Claire was very responsive and worked with me to fit the aesthetic we were looking for. Claire has beautiful personal taste, too, so even when I handed over control to her, I knew I could trust her to get the classically beautiful images we were looking for. During our shoots, she gave us lots of direction and helped us feel comfortable and relaxed. The pictures turned out beautifully, too! We had more than enough images to choose from, and everyone remarked at how incredible all of them were. I'd heard a lot of horror stories about wedding photographers who took forever to get pictures back to the couple or were unresponsive after the wedding. That never happened with Claire; she got our pictures to us so quickly, I was amazed. I couldn't have been happier with our experience working with her and have referred several friends to her for their weddings.

Claire takes beautiful pictures. Not only were my husband and I thrilled with the portraits she took of us, she was also so attentive to all the little side-stories going on throughout the wedding day. Nieces and nephews dancing, special moments between my mom and I, etc. Most wedding photographers would not get the facial reactions of onlookers to immediate events, but Claire does. She did a fantastic job. She was also so easy to work with from beginning to end: even though she was in Utah and I was in California until the day of the wedding. She offered expert advice and was eager for our opinions as well. Thanks to her, we have more than enough gorgeous pictures of our wedding day.

She is like that best kept secret that you don’t want other people to hear about lest her prices skyrocket through the roof. Great photography was one of the top priorities for our wedding, and Claire delivered spectacular memories! She’s also remarkably easy to work with, which is a “must have” from a photographer with all the other delightful chaos of a wedding. Our family has been back to her several times. One sibling who couldn't use Clair because she was already booked still wishes she would have been available. Book early!
