Sheena Sent on 11/10/2013The ABSOLUTE BEST! Not not a videography, but cinematography. He did our slideshow, music video, and same day editing. My husband is really shy and didn't want to do the music video, but the CKC team made him and our wedding party feel comfortable and made one of the best videos ever! He gets thee best shots! Just tell them your song and theme and they'll make it happen. My guest cannot stop raving about the video they put together.
Especially the same day edits! He captured moments amazingly and brough our guest to tears. I LOOOOOVE CKCinema! -
User2526645 Sent on 02/03/2016We have mixed reviews about CK Cinema. Our wedding planner recommended them and we heard good things about them so we decided to book them for our wedding. Majority of the conversations with them went through our wedding planner, however we were able to conversate with them about what was important to us and what we wanted to see. Chris was very nice in person and listened to our ideas.
We ended up booking full videography, a slideshow, and a same day edit. The same day edit was amazing! They were able to pack in details of the wedding plus then key moments to show at the end of the night along with our slideshow.
After the wedding, we received our full video about a month and a half after. We didn't think too much about it and figured they were really busy with other projects.
We watched the video as soon as we received it and we were NOT happy with it. The video lacked important moments of the wedding, they stuck to three angles at the most during the ceremony and the reception, they weren't in line with our program and failed to pan out to key people that was being mentioned during the program, and there were moments where the camera was being shaky and panned out to random areas. The most disappointing part was not having the details of our decor, guests, and experiences showcased. They also took a ton of video during the "getting ready" part of the day, and none of that was part of the overall video.
Overall, the same day edit was great, they are great people to work with, however not having the key moments and the lack of detail of the full videography was very disappointing. -
User1927699 Sent on 11/18/2014Our experience with CKCinema was really good to start. We were a couple of days late on a promotion that they were running on facebook and they still honored it. The communication was easy and they were very flexible in meeting up with us at our hotel before the wedding for a introduction meeting to discuss our preferences and needs. We asked that if they can prep the highlite reel as soon as possible as my mom wasn't able to make the wedding last minute and they happily agreed
The wedding itself went very smoothly as well. They were not intrusive at all and was able to capture some amazing footage. They were able to adapt to candid moments and capture some awesome footage.
The problem was after the wedding. Despite previous discussions, we did not get the highlite reel until 1.5 months after. And the official package with the rest of the footage did not come for 4 months! I sent so many emails to inquire on the status and estimated time. They responded sometimes and was apologetic. Other times, they completely ignored me. Halfway through, they explained the delay is because one of their videographers left the company unexpectedly. I was very understanding and asked for their estimated delay, but was essentially ignored again.
With that said, the work was awesome. They were able to incorporate my 1st dance song into the highlite reel as per request. The video was so touching and the editing/effects were great. We are very happy with the product, just wish the communication issues post wedding did not happen as that was really frustrating.
