5 stars all the way!!! Joe did an amazing job on our wedding day! I highly recommend Joe for your events. Even with all our family and friends distractions on song requests, he made sure to play most of our playlist songs...please keep in mind, that's not easy to do. Also, Joe was the MC for our wedding and did a fantastic job!!

We loved having Cj's DJ for our wedding reception! Joe was so nice, professional, and fun! We were able to select lots of songs we wanted played and he played lots of songs that got everyone dancing. Great rates compared to many other services and we could not have been happier! Also he offered us a discount because our wedding was on a Friday. I would recommend to anyone!

Extremely satisfied customer. CJ's Sound Hawaii provided the photo booth services for our wedding. Joe was the best! He was very professional and very responsive. He helped us to design a fun layout and was very accommodating to our venue's space requirements and our request to take both portraits and large group shots. We shopped around at the Wedding Cafe and Bridal Expos, and their price and value were UNBEATABLE! The crew setup early for the event and stayed late to accommodate our guests. We got copies of all the high quality digital files, which were uploaded and available to us the very NEXT morning! I would definitely use CJ's Sound Hawaii over and over and over again.

I just got married on April 4th and I couldn't be any happier with my DJ and MC. I was able to send him songs he didn't have and were played well in a mix with other music. Joe kept in contact with me whenever I had questions - fyi while I was planning everything from Los Angeles to my Honolulu wedding. I would for sure recommend them to anyone who knows what kind of music you want and if you need help with the timeline of your wedding. They were perfect!!!

This is the second time that I've hired Joe of CJS Sound Hawaii and once again our guests were thrilled with his services. We love his photobooth, it's absolutely thee best! It's not your average photobooth, unlike the rest you can actually have a group photo and not have to squeeze into a tiny little booth! Our guests love the fact that there are also fun props, I wouldn't have it any other way and with any other vendor! Thank you again Joe for allowing our wedding to be another memorable one, and like I said at the wedding....we'll see you again in March for our son's first birthday!

He was on time for the set up and was not a burden to any of us during the entire party. Picture quality was phenomenal. The pictures were printed very quickly. Great job

Joe of CJ's sound was really great and was one of the quickest vendors to answer calls/emails. After calling around to multiple music/entertainment options, and feeling like everyone seemed to be trying to "sell me" on something, I contacted Joe. He was super easy going, and tried to give us our best value. He actually asked me if I was a teacher or in the military in hopes of helping me find a discount on his services. That's a complete change from other vendors that I felt were charging twice as much and trying to tack on other services.

As for the day of, both Joe and the DJ (I think his son or other family member) were great. The music was definitely reflective of us, we were able to get people up on the dance floor, he kept the program running on time, and I think our guests enjoyed him as an emcee. Overall, good job on emcee and DJ services. We were also able to get them to project a slideshow for us. They were flexible enough to deal with some of the challenges of our venue and all went pretty well. Some minor quirks here and there, but that seems to be pretty normal with any wedding!

CJs' provided both the DJ and MC service for my wedding. They were amazing ladies. Khai & I only had a couple songs picked out...we had no idea we need a song for EVERYTHING!! Joe has the top 50 pick for them all too...precessional, recessional, cake cutting, the garter & bouquet toss, the list goes on. Every time I had a question they were available to answer. Joe asked me did I want them to wear anything specific?!? ^_^ PINK!!! Joe hasn't worn pink since his high school prom!!! Hahah, I think he was having a difficult time with this because he would never wear pink again after my wedding. He found a pink aloha shirt!!! So awesome! The music was just our style! The sound system was impeccable! They kept everything flowing, on time and just perfect I tell yah...just perfect! I wouldn't change a thing! Thank you guys again CJs for making our wedding celebration even better than we could have imagined!!!!

Hiring CJs mobile DJs was an excellent choice for our wedding. Not only were they professionals but they were great with the crowd. There wasn't a time during open dance floor that the dance floor was empty. They played a great variety of music that everyone at our wedding loved. We had a great time with them. Besides the fact that they were awesome at the wedding they were also very helpful in the planning process. When we first looked for MCs and DJs for our wedding we emailed a few people but CJs was the first to respond quickly. After hiring them we were then able to get access to their website where we could input all the wedding information and songs we wanted to be played. This was great because we are from California and planning a destination wedding is not easy but Joe made it very easy. Joe was a great MC and had an awesome voice for the mic. Both ceremony and reception went smoothly all thanks to the guys of CJs mobile DJs. There is no doubt about it, if you want an excellent party they are the way to go. 5 out of 5 stars!!!

Amazing service and quality!! I could not have been happier with the turn out!! They were reliable, organized, quick to respond to all of my questions, thorough and sooo great to work with!! I only gave them a few songs that we really wanted to hear and the rest was up to them! They nailed it!! Every song was perfect from beginning to end!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! Our wedding was a success thanks to you!!! Music is everything at a wedding, so I would highly recommend CJs Sound!! They will not disappoint you!!

The first time I spoke with Joe I knew he would be the right choice for us. He was very responsive in answering all my questions especially over e-mail since I was based in California. On the week of my wedding when the whole city was under tight security for the APEC conference Joe was nice enough to come out to our hotel to meet with us instead of us having to fight traffic. How many vendors will do that for you! The online planning system was easy & efficient. And the fact that he offers payment online was a big plus for me.

My guests had a blast and the complimented the music played, who else can get everyone on the dance floor to do the dance train. Joe can!

Joe is such an awesome DJ! He is genuinely kind, and right from the beginning, you could really tell that he loves doing what he does. He even took the time to meet with us to go through each and every song, and even had great suggestions! He provided an absolutely superb service, set-up was great, lighting was beautiful. He was the best, we and all our guest loved his service, cheehee!!

Joe and his team were awesome. They DJ'd my wedding a few weeks ago and I was 100% satisfied with the quality of their work. They also MC'd the wedding for us and fullfilled my every last request. Joe also quoted ne the lowest price compared to all the other DJ services I received quotes from. I would absolutely use them again for another event and I would be more than happy to refer them to my friends and family.

Joe emceed my wedding reception and also provided DJ services. The website he uses for the wedding reception/ceremony timeline and song selections was very helpful and user friendly. As an emcee, Joe engaged the audience and made it very memorable for us and our guests. He played all the songs we specifically requested and also stayed away from those we requested he not play.
Prior to signing a contract with the company, I interviewed several others. I was impressed by the non-salesman approach that Joe took. I didn't feel pressured in any way nor did he try to "sell" himself to my husband and I. His down to earth and laid back personality ultimately helped me in deciding to go with CJ's.
I can honestly say that CJ's was everything I asked for and more and there is nothing that I would want to change if given the opportunity to go back and do so. I would definitely recommend CJ's to anyone looking for a DJ, emcee or both for any type of party!

Thank you so much Joe! Everything was as perfect as can be. Joe and everyone from CJS did such a great job! Joe provided a projector as well as a spot light for our first dance! My only regret was not using Joe to provide the sound system for our ceremony.

LOVE THESE GUYS!!! Thank you Joe and EJ for all you've done! If you are looking for a GOOD DJ I would DEFINATELY recommend CJ's Sound Hawaii. They respond to emails and phone calls promptly and are very nice, professional as well as flexible. They were worth every penny will do business with them again in the futre.

CJ's Sound DJ was the perfect choice for our Wedding music!
From the first contact with Joe we knew with certainty that we would have fantastic music service. Joe was quick to reply to all emails and once again with planning overseas this was essential for us.

We had the ability to use Joe's website to choose all of the Reception music and provide as much detail as necessary to his team about our day. There were a few artists that we were not able to locate on the website and Joe had the music requested ready to go on our day with pleasure. Joe was set up with perfect timing for our event and the sound equipment was fantastic.

The first song that I heard after the ceremony wafted down to us as were taking pictures in Moli'i Gardens and I knew that the rest of the evening was going to be filled with memorable music moments. If you are looking for an excellent DJ who is filled with attention to detail and excellent music service definitely go with CJ's Sound Hawaii!

CJ's Sound did an excellent job DJing our wedding reception. Their website makes it extremely easy to choose songs and organize your music for the evening. They did a great job picking the right songs to play and our guests were dancing all night long. They also provided us with a screen to play our slideshow which looked great. My only complaint was that I would have liked the music to be a bit louder but I believe that was a problem with the venue and out of their control.

Joe from CJ's Sound was awesome to work with! I did a quote request on their website and he got a hold of me within a day! On the day of our wedding, we found out that one of my performers only had her music on her ipod. I gave Joe a call and thank goodness they had an ipod hookup. The young lady and gentleman that dj'd the night of our wedding reception did awesome as well! I had requested songs to be played and they did exactly. I also requested not to play a certain artist and they didn't! My husband and I were extremely happy with everything! The sound of the music and speakers were great! There are some djs that play music that sound like mp3s. With CJ's Sound, you could not tell at all. Also, some Dj's speakers sound like they're straining. That was not the case with CJ's Sound. Everything was perfect. Oh, and they also offered uplighting for the head table which helped with the ambiance. In fact, the pic used for their profile is from our wedding =) Really great local business to work with! Thank you all at CJ's Sound for being a part of our biggest day of our lives!

Joe was fantastic! From the very first phone call I knew that he was the DJ for us. He always returned my calls and emails in a timely manner.

He was very flexible with our timeline and music selection, I didn't want a stuffy reception and Joe and his assistant delivered! Our timeline changed so many times yet Joe coordinated with our other vendors to ensure everything was perfect!

His price was very competitive and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

We were extremely pleased that we chose CJ Sound Hawaii DJ to provided the music, sounds system for the ceremony, and to be the MC at our reception. As with most weddings we were unable to stick with our original time line (due to photos taking longer than expected, unexpected rain, etc..) but Joe's flexibility and expertise helped to keep the evening flowing seamlessly. Joe played an integral part in making sure our entire event was a success. Even after an unexpected rainfall he was able to find a way to provide the audio for our outdoor ceremony. Also he was able to work around our continuously changing schedule and even coordinated the changes with the other vendors. Joe conducted himself in a professional manner and was extremely personable. We are so happy that we had Joe to help us on our big day and we would highly recommend CJ Sound Hawaii DJ to anyone.

It doesn't get any better than CJ Sound! They were on time and provided our reception with awesome service! Our guests had a blast even though it was a lunch reception. They said the DJ provided great music. As the bride, I felt Joe really listened to our requests of what songs not to play and what songs he could play. Joe was very responsive to my emails and phone calls. Music played seamlessly and added in extra requests from guests. He was able to get everyone to dance and my family never dances!!! His prices are the best and his service is excellent. Do not hesitate to use him!!!

DJ Joe is extremely professional and provided us with an amazing music for our wedding at the Hyatt. Everyone commented on how good the music was and he was so friendly and played all the requests for our guest. We really appreicate him and highly recommend him for any occassion. CJ's Sound was amazing! He played everything & more... then what we had requested on our wedding day! He mixed the music very well! I've been to plenty of weddings and some DJ's do a horrible job from going to one song to the other, but with CJ that was NEVER the problem! All the music flowed together very well. He paid very close attention on our requests in regards to what play during the timeline and what not to play. He's very professional and very nice. We definitely would recommend him for your wedding music needs or even any occasion! Thank you CJ for making our wedding day memorable, we all danced the night away to all the music that you played! It was wonderful! Many many thanks to CJ & his staff! =)

CJ’s Sound DJ service provided excellent entertainment for our wedding! We had a destination wedding in Oahu and all the coordination with CJ’s Sound was done online and by phone. We meet with DJ Joe in person just two days before the wedding. I am very glad to say that CJ’s Sound and DJ Joe provided exactly the service we were looking for! Our guests were well entertained and the wedding reception timeline was very fluid. Joe was very professional, easy to work with, and had a very competitive price. Joe also saved the day by trouble shooting an issue with our picture slideshow which allowed our guest to view it! I highly recommend CJ’s Sound.

CJ's Sound did an incredible job at our wedding! The music was perfect! From the pre-ceremony to the cocktail hour to the very last dance, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ and MC. All of our guests, wedding party, and even us had such a great time. There wasn't a single seat that wasn't empty! The dance floor was packed and the DJ played perfect and appropriate music to suit every age group! If ever I had to hire another DJ, it would be CJ's Sound! Highly recommended!

We wanted a no frills DJ who would just play music without annoying commentary, and that's what we got with CJs Honolulu. Two days before the wedding, our DJ Joe informed us he'd like to send his kids because he was more of an emcee, and they could handle our no frills attitude. They did just fine by us and Joe upgraded our sound system (so he said, who knows if we got taken for a ride!) They worked hard, and while we had a few glitches, nobody seemed to care. The glitches were mainly my husband changing up the program last minute, so I can't blame CJs. They did play like six of my "do not play" songs but in the end, no one cared. Just make sure you call CJs to clarify your do not play list, and write that list out good! They were fine DJs and a great value compared to other DJs on the island

CJs Sound Hawaii was a perfect choice for our wedding. We had our wedding at the Kahala, and although I was born and raised in Hawaii, my husband and I live in Cali. So, we were technically planning a destination wedding via phone and internet/email with all our vendors in Hawaii.
Joe was our contact and he was so easy to work with, he knows what he's doing when it comes to mobile DJ/entertainment. I gave him everything he needed via email and by using their awesome on-line event planning system (best system for planning out your whole program, by the minute, and pick out all the songs you want played during your reception/dancing). We never even met Joe until after our first dance as husband and wife, and he delivered just based off phone/emails.

In addition to DJ'ing, we also had him provide a projector and screen to play our slideshow during dinner. He also provided red uplighting throughout our room for more of a romantic lighting effect (our color was red). Great service and he provided us a great competitive price for his services. Other DJ's out there in HI overcharge, but CJ's Sound is really reasonable, especially these days when times are economically tough.

Thanks Joe, you really made our day a memorable one for us and our guests.
