Amazing Dj Service
We hired Dennis aka Batman and he was such a great guy! Cj sound offers so many fun extras on top of just being a DJ. There affordable, fun, organized, and really know how to keep the fun going all night long! Highly recommend there service for any event.

CJ Sound and DJ Shawn Vanpatten were awesome! They are quick with communication and their planning website is so helpful and convenient. We decided we needed an extra hour about a week before the wedding. CJ sound was happy to accommodate our request. Shawn made speeches and introductions very easy because he has done so many weddings. Took the stress off of me and my husband and just made our day fun!!

Perfect Music for our Wedding!
CJ Sound was so helpful from the moment we first called them. They asked what we wanted in a wedding in order to find the right DJ for us. They also helped us with uplighting which looked wonderful in our venue. We loved DJ Steve and what he played at the wedding. Our dance floor was packed all night which is exactly what I had hoped for in a wedding. He did a great job with the songs we wanted to hear and rotating through them. Also pronounced all names correctly which was awesome for us as usually people get that wrong. We would absolutely recommend CJ Sound and DJ Steve.

Superseded all of our expectations!
DJ George was AMAZING! We could not have asked for a better DJ. He called a couple days before to go over the details of the day and sent the versions of songs to confirm they were correct. He checked with us throughout the entire night from the volume and bass while we were eating, to song requests and extras. One of our friends attends a ton of weddings and she went out of her way to text me the next day to say that it was hands down the best DJ experience she’s had!! Would 100% recommend over and over. If you have the option to request a disc jockey, DJ George all the way!

Covid who???
We had the best party thanks to our DJ Mike from CJ sound! We were on the fence about having a DJ because of Covid but Mike was awesome, read the crowd and got everyone having the absolute best time! He was so thoughtful and receptive to anything we wanted or didn’t want. Went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was what we wanted! My photographer commented on how great he is, I had several friends tell him and myself how great of a job he did, and it was clear that everyone had a great time! Almost like we weren’t living in Covid times...cannot recommend enough! Ask for DJ Mike and he will make sure you are taken care of! We also had a photo booth and everyone had a blast with it! They gave us a copy of each one photo strip in a guest book and even gave us a USB drive of all the pics!

So fun and did amazing
We had a backyard wedding due to Covid with only about 25 people and DJ Dennis really made the night amazing. He still kept us on schedule, was so funny, and really kept us dancing all night. Can’t say enough good things about DJ Batman!!

Perfect way to ring in the New Year
We saw DJ Dennis at a wedding last NYE and decided he’s who we wanted to do our wedding the following NYE. He has such a great outgoing personality, and he was really thorough in understanding what kind of music we would want to have played throughout the evening. He even kept me on schedule at the reception and reminded me when to move things along (I completely lost track of time). I so appreciated that, otherwise we would probably still be there days later! The music and lights were great, the MCing was great - we really enjoyed working with Dennis and we know our guests all had a great time.

We had the pleasure of working with DJ Dennis AKA DJ Batman!! He was amazing to work with the entire time! Kept everyone on the dance floor and hyped everyone up during the announcements and got everyone involved at perfect points of the night!! We also had a photo booth! It was great! Everyone loved it and it was the perfect extra for the wedding!! We had a 6 hour DJ package with light package and a 4 hour photo booth

Perfect Music Selections
My family has always used CJ Sound for parties throughout my life, so booking them was a given when it came to our wedding. When we met with DJ Dennis ("Batman") to discuss the "style" we wanted (we told him to think "Guardians of the Galaxy Soundtrack"), he immediately recommended DJ Tim. They told me we would meet for details the week of the wedding, but me being super detailed wanted to meet earlier, which Tim was happy to do for us. He was happy to accommodate all of the specific timing aspects I had when it came to the processional song and the introductions song into the reception. He kept people dancing all night long, took requests, and he even made us CDs that included all of the songs he played throughout the night, so now we have our entire wedding soundtrack! He was incredible and I would recommend him over and over. I think one of the things that sealed the deal for us was that once the reception was over, one of the hotel caterers stopped me and my husband and asked "By any chance, are you guys fans of Guardians of the Galaxy?". That just proves how well DJ Tim hit our style on the head!

We had Joe as our DJ. He did a great job and seemed to get better as the night went on and he felt out what the people wanted. The only thing that disappointed us was that he played the wrong version of our first dance song. I was very specific with the music. I included the artists and if it was a different version than the original, I included that. It wasn’t an earth shattering mistake, but it was slightly upsetting since we chose that specific version for a reason.

Thank you CJ Sound for making our day so wonderful! From start-to-finish, everything was accompanied by the perfect music selection, and led by a charismatic and engaging MC (Dennis, AKA Batman).
Our consultation was done over-the-phone with Dennis about 10 days prior to the event. We chatted through all of the things we input on our event profile (a fantastic feature - we made all of our requests, and basically spelled out the entire day from start to finish). Dennis asked the right questions, and led the conversation in a way that made us confident that we were in good hands. He knew exactly the style we were going for throughout the day, and did literally everything we requested.
CJ Sound was actually recommended to us through my father-in-law, who had hired them for his own wedding. Clearly, this company has been doing quality work for years, and has kept their standards high. This is a company you can trust - HIRE THEM!!

A perfect fit for a perfect Wedding!
DJ Pauly Paul helped make my daughter's wedding absolutely beautiful! He was very attentive to several of my unique requests for the Father/Daughter dance as well as my speech which included many props and several sound bites I requested. Hire DJ Tim
I cannot say enough great things about DJ Tim from CJ Sound. He was absolutely fabulous to work with. We live in Maryland and only traveled to Buffalo a few times prior to the wedding and when we were in town our schedules were jam packed. DJ Tim went out of his way to meet up with us early one morning at a Tim Hortons a month before the wedding just so we could meet in person before the big day. We went over our music likes/dislikes, and our theme for our wedding. DJ Tim was so personable and had great input for our wedding party entrances. He went above and beyond to edit our first dance song for us and even called us a few days before our wedding to double check final details. DJ Tim was amazing the day of! He organized the most epic chicken dance of all time- which guests are still talking about! CJ Sound and DJ Tim are HIGHLY recommended!

We had Mike Erickson as our DJ. He was so professional and did an amazing job. He had the dance floor packed the whole night from start to finish. He was great to work with and had some awesome ideas. The uplights really helped create the room. Not to mention the custom monogram was cool. My favorite part was the dry ice for our first dance, I cant tell you how many compliments I got on that. The guests thought that was the coolest thing most have never seen before.

No1 else but BATMAN
When my fiancé and I first met DJ DENNIS I wasn’t sure what to expect! When we walked into his office all we saw was Batman memorabilia, collectibles, and pictures. Come to find out DJ DENNIS goes by BATMAN!!! He was so welcoming, friendly, professional, and confident when we met with him for the first time. He really took my worries away as a bride and made me feel like I had nothing to worry about and that he was going to take care of everything regarding DJ services! We were very confident of our choice with using DJ DENNIS for our wedding reception! A few months later we decided to meet with DJ Dennis again in order to go over some details for the big wedding day. We were disappointed to see that all of the Batman memorabilia collectibles, and pictures were no more. His walls in his office were blank. No Batman pictures, no action figurines, no bat-mobile....just nothing. Blank. We were just sad and shocked to see this. I had bought DJ DENNIS a batman pillow while out shopping one day. I brought this pillow with me to our meeting for him to display in his office and now all of his Batman things were gone!!! The first words out of my mouth was “Where is Batman!” It was shocking and just wrong to find out his boss made him take all of his Batman decor down! I couldn’t believe it! Why would his boss take away the identity of DJ DENNIS? I asked Dennis to keep the pillow that I bought for him in his office. His boss asked him where the Batman pillow came from. Dennis explained that it was a gift from one of his brides that would be using his DJ services. I was ecstatic to hear that his boss changed his mind and decided to allow back all of the Batman memorabilia!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can’t take away Batman!!! NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA BATMAN!!!!! Ok so let’s fast forward to the week before the wedding. DJ DENNIS had us come in and meet with him one more time before the big day!!! I was so happy to see all of the Batman collectibles were back! The pictures on the walls, Batman pillows on the chairs, Batman figurines, and just Batman everywhere!!!!! I was responsible for helping to get DJ DENNIS’ BATMAN and identity back! It just makes the office and environment so much more fun and welcoming! I was so impressed with how he took the time with us during the meeting in order to make sure that everything was set for our wedding day! He went over all of the songs we selected for the special events like the cake cutting, first dance, bouquet toss, and garter toss: He even played a short clip of every song in order to ensure it was the correct version! What amazed me the most was that he took the time to call each one of our parents in order to get the father-daughter-dance and mother-son-dance. The father of the bride and the mother of the groom both wanted their song selection for these dances to be a surprise. Not only did he call our parents he also called some of our vendors in order to make sure everything was all set with each vendor we had coming in for our reception. For example, DJ DENNIS called our cocktail singer and let him know how things were going to be set up at the reception and in what order. He also let the cocktail singer know he could plug into his system if he wanted too. DJ DENNIS also called the manager at our reception hall and confirmed everything! Dennis coordinated with everyone in order to make sure the big day went off without a hitch! He really took a lot of worry and stress off of my plate. He also called my father back after we left and went over at least 20 different father-daughter songs with him, playing each one, in order to help my father confirm he was making the right choice! And he did! Last Saturday, June 29, 2019 was our BIG DAY! I have to say we wouldn’t have changed a thing! DJ DENNIS kept the party moving! He did everything we asked of him and more! He made sure everything was on schedule! He kept things organized and fun! He was the best announcer I’ve ever heard! He played all of the songs we asked for on the must play playlist through the CJ SOUND PLANNER WEBSITE. He followed our timeline and vision to a “T.” BUT ABOVE ALL HE KEPT THE PEOPLE ON THE DANCE-FLOOR! It was a blast we didn’t leave the dance floor unless our photographers pulled us away! We had soooo much fun! Our wedding day was beautiful and more than we could’ve ever imagined and we owe a HUGE part of that to the one and only BATMAN!!!!!

Did an amazing job for our wedding
We had DJ Mike! He was very helpful through the process of everything from beginning to end. When i was not sure about things he helped and provided help and suggestions! Everyone had a great time dancing to the music! He did a great job of keeping the crowd active on the dance floor! Mike has a great personality and was extremely professional! I am glad we were able to hire CJ Sound for our wedding! I reccomend them and their services! They not only did great with the music but the lighting was fantastic! They can customize the lighting to your liking as well! Mike stayed in contact with me and always made sure I knew that i could contact him at anytime for anything that i needed! Our guests loved them!
CJ Sound (DJ Mike in particular) DJ’ed our wedding and provided the photo booth. They did a great job. He played a great selection that kept the dance floor rocking and even surprised us with some crowd involvement for the song Piano Man. I don’t want to spoil the surprise more than that! It was a blast. People really enjoyed the photo booth also — the quality of the photos was great, and they gave us a little scrapbook of a bunch of the photo strips as well as a USB drive of all the photos. My DJ was DJ Hassan. Using CJ Sound's website I input a lot of songs in the request form and DJ Hassan played all the songs I requested. It was a fun night and people danced all night long.
I also had a photo booth and the attendant was Andrew (Bubba). My guests loved Andrew. There was a lot of people doing large group photos and Andrew didn't mine printing photo strips for everyone in the photos. He was also very nice and easy to work with.

The CJ Sound team, including DJ Mike & photo booth attendant Brandon went above and beyond to make our wedding both beautiful, worry free & fun! With very little instruction/specifications from me they were able to set up and execute lighting that matched our entire wedding theme/vibe, music that had the dance floor going the entire time and really fit our party's personality and entertainment that gained me so much positive feedback about how much fun our event was. I appreciated how much they did to really make our day perfect and so seamless. Beyond Amazing!
DJ Dennis was amazing! He practically ran the event with his wonderful MC skills. He made sure to have all of the details I could provide and followed them, as well as, improvise when necessary and appropriate. He kept everything lively and all of my guests responded exceptionally well to his music choices and commentary. My wedding was a couple months ago, but I still keep hearing comments about how much my guests had a wonderful time and highly approved of the DJ. A couple of my guests asked if he was a family member because he blended in with my crowd so well and came across as humble. I am so grateful he was my DJ. He made the day easier by taking over when necessary, even when I had a some moments of feeling the need to be in control lol. My groom was also super ecstatic by the end of the wedding with my choice (he wasn't able to make the appointments, but glad I have a husband who trusts me). If you have a fun, nerdy/geeky, family and guests, this guy is definitely the one for your wedding. He's had some experience with guests and wedding with that vibe and it really helps.

Dennis from Cj Sound did an amazing job!!! He help direct us all night, he let us know where to be when and always gave us a heads up for what was next. He kept the night fun and always checked in with me to make sure some of the song requests were ok. Everyone had a great time and the dance floor was always full!!! We heard about it for days after how fun it was and how much fun everyone had dancing. The photo booth was great too, especially for kids.

The best entertainment and lights!
We are so grateful to have had CJ Sound as our entertainment vendor for our wedding. The planning process was extremely easy, and the online portal tool helped us easily structure the entire day. John Ceglia was an amazing DJ – he took our very broad suggestions for genres we like and created the perfect atmosphere that kept everyone (age 8 to 86!) dancing even after we extended the reception time! Also, the sound was exceptionally managed for speeches and dancing. This was a huge success, as the venue is known to have challenging acoustics. In addition to the sound, CJ Sound provided the most beautiful lighting that truly transformed our venue. The uplights perfectly surrounded the room with warm, gold light during the speeches and dinner. Then for dancing, the room was completely transformed into a party scene with changing color schemes and the most beautiful starry night on the ceiling. All guests could not stop commenting on the music and light show, and we cannot stop recommending CJ Sound to all of our family and friends.

Long Island meets the Emerald Island
CJ sound was recommended to us by a family member. We found their office with eases and dropped in without a prior appointment. We sat down and were able to book our wedding with no problems. We followed up with them through email and used their website to pick songs we wanted and didn’t want. We paired up with John Ceglia a DeeJay with a really impressive resume. I talked to John on the phone and explained to him that My wife moved here for college from Long Island and while I was raised in Buffalo my father and most of my family immigrated from Ireland. There was an important almost impossible to find waltz that the Irish crowd would need to hear. We decided that after being to half a dozen weddings this year we didn’t want to hear any top 40 or Bruno Mars... he’s great but we legit went to a couple weddings where the dj put his cd in and just let it roll.
Our wedding was shaping up to be a destination wedding in the town we lived, 70 guests from Long Island, and 40 guests from Ireland, handful of Scottish, a dozen or so from Canada. Essentially many dynamics and cultures all at once with specific music tastes. John was on the phone with me talking about Irish music, Irish rock, Billy Joel, meatloaf, Cardi B, all sorts of stuff. The day of came and John read the crowd great, it’s super cliche to say “everybody danced allll nighht!” Let’s put it this way my wife and I crowd surfed during “Galway Girl” by Mundy. And at one point a couple guests got all river dance with it to everyone else in a circle keeping a beat clap going. So it was really a unique badass time. CJ sound and their capable staff did dance floor lighting that was awesome, a photo booth that kicked ass and provided us with John Ceglia who got the crowd roaring.

DJ Dennis AKA Batman - Dennis Fleig was absolutely amazing! From the initial booking through the end of the event I have zero complaints. DJ Dennis was extremely knowledgeable, fun to work with and listened to everything we wanted for our wedding. He recommended up-lighting based on our venue and was very familiar with the space (Hotel Henry). We had a 45 minute call the week prior to the wedding reviewing all songs, genres, timeline etc. DJ Dennis had awesome recommendations and truly listened to our needs/wants. He even put together a playlist for me to listen to for our dinner music prior to the day. There is no question that DJ Dennis made our wedding night the best it could be! The dance floor was completely full the entire evening and I have never seen a wedding dance so hard and for so long! DJ Dennis played everything we wanted and read the dance floor the entire night- he met all needs and all ages of the party. We extended our wedding reception 1 full hour because of him and the fun we all were having. I would recommend DJ Dennis to anyone having a party. We are extremely grateful for him and his services!!

Great experience! CJ sound provided DJ and photo booth services for my daughters wedding. They played great music, communicated with the venue (Tonawanda Castle) and the photographer (Lauren Ashley) to keep the wedding time line moving on time. The ceremony was in Tonawanda Castle and they did the sound for that too. The DJ, Dennis AKA Batman - Dennis Fleig and
Mike Tomasulo, photo booth attendant were incredible! Unlimited photo booth pictures which everyone loved. They even gave us a flash drive with all the photo booth pictures on it along with an album of the pictures.
It was a very small wedding, but somehow, the DJ got everyone up and dancing. He passed out foam tubes that lit up for guests to dance with. It was a huge hit!

We had Dennis from CJ Sound DJ our wedding reception and I cannot say enough about the awesome job he did! Everyone was on the dance floor all night. My wife and I had our wedding two weeks ago, with our reception at the Adam's Mark. While the Adam's Mark provided less than satisfactory service, our DJ saved the night. CJ sound was extremely flexible and attentive to begin with, our DJ, Steve, meeting with us a week before the wedding to touch base and get to know us better. During the reception, when the employee from the Adam's Mark who was supposed to be in charge of making sure the reception went smoothly was nowhere to be found, Steve went above and beyond and spent the night checking on us and making sure everything went off without a hitch. He brought amazing energy all night, was open to song requests, and had the dance floor full for the entire 6 hour reception! I would recommend CJ Sound to all of my friends and family!!

We booked CJ sound for our wedding on June 10 2017. We were very happy with our choice! We had DJ Pat and he kept everyone, all 220 of our guests, on the dance floor the entire time!! We actually had to move our tables around to make an even bigger dance floor because everyone wanted to be out there dancing. He made sure to play all of our must-have songs, even playing "La Bamba" about 3-4 times because it was the only song my husband had requested be on the list and he kept missing it! All of the songs for our first dances, cake cutting, etc. were all played correctly and he even remembered the song I requested for just the two of us at the very end of the night. We also rented a photo booth thru them and it was a huge hit! They did a great job on that as well and we got copies of every photo taken that night which was funny to look thru after the reception! Over all we were extremely pleased and selecting a DJ/Band was the hardest decision we had to make!

CJ Sound proved to be an excellent choice right from the get-go. The communication back and fourth with Mike to get the ball rolling was great. The pricing was very competitive when compared to all the other overpriced DJ services. Once a deposit is made, they provide you with a login in which you could make payments, add music to your "must play list," create a timeline, and provide the necessary info for the DJ. This was an excellent service to have. Now, on to the DJ. DJ Jimmy S was an outstanding DJ. He was very accommodating, and helped immensely with making the introductions, special dances, and announcements a smooth and simple process. He had all the right moves with reading the crowd and knowing what music to play throughout the entire night. Guests repeatedly came up to me to tell me how great he was, and were all about keeping him spinning tunes as long as they could stand.

I am SO glad we had CJ Sound DJ our wedding. We had a crazy ride planning, with 3 venue changes, and they were with us every step of the way making sure we had the right equipment and lighting for all of them. Pat was our assigned DJ and he was AWESOME. He called a week before the wedding to introduce himself and make sure he knew what we wanted and to see if we had any questions. He was there for any last minute changes or questions with quick and knowledgeable responses. On the day of, Pat made everything run smoothly, from the introductions, to the speeches, to the dance floor. He even had a little stash of sunglasses for anyone that wanted them! We also had a photobooth in our package and people loved it. My husband and I really enjoyed looking at the pictures in our guestbook the next day. Thank you CJ Sound!

I booked CJ Sound for the music and lighting at my wedding reception and could not have been happier! All the planning and payments can be done online which is very convenient. The online planning form especially makes personalizing the entire reception easy, and you can essentially make your own playlist. I was very nervous about picking the right music to get people to dance, but DJ Paul Foxe was the best. He called me a week or so before the reception to go over the basics and also just to tell me that I could contact him with any questions or changes. On the day, he was excellent at announcing names and getting everyone to dance. He also shows music videos of the songs he plays, which made it even more fun. The uplighting looked great, and there was never a lull in the dancing. As good as it gets, in my opinion!

Dennis is AMAZING! I just LOVED the entire experience with him. The music was my biggest fear as I was wedding planning and after talking to him before the event, he completely calmed my nerves. Then, the day of the wedding he went over and beyond my (and my mother's) expectations!

We used CJ Sound for a photo booth, as well as sound for our ceremony, and lighting and DJ for our reception. They were amazing for all of them. They were receptive to my requests for the background of our photo strips and willing to answer all my questions. The photo booth was exactly as I pictured (they even let us supply a custom backdrop), and our guests had a great time. We love looking through the book they put together with all the funny pictures and sweet comments.
DJ Steve Schottman was our DJ, and he was absolutely amazing. He played the songs we picked for our ceremony without issues. However where he really shined was at the reception. As soon as the dancing started the dance floor was filled, and was never empty again the entire night. People were constantly packed on the dance floor, and everyone had an amazing time. The venue staff even told us the next morning that all the event staff was in the back dancing as well and had a great time working our wedding. We could not be happier with the job Steve did, and will always be grateful for the amazing party!

Used CJ Sound for DJ; Photobooth and uplighting and was very pleased in all aspects. Before booking Vinny met us at our venue (Statler Golden Ballroom) and set up some uplights to give us a good feel of how the room would look---loved the way it turned out. We had DJ Jimmy- --He killed it! Great personality and professionalism. He played keyboard during cocktail hour then had the dance floor going all night. Had a consultation the week before to review the introduction details, must play songs, don't play etc that we had entered on their website. Would definitely recommend

CJ Sound was amazing. We had DJ Jimmy for our wedding, and he was super responsive and willing to work with us. We had some one-off song requests and he placed them perfectly. The dance floor did not stop the entire night, and he completely understood the direction of music we were looking for. We also had a photobooth that was an absolute hit. I got married on September 9, 2016. For my event, music was one of the stressful parts of planning for me. I was really unsure of what I wanted. Jimmy S. was my DJ from CJ Sound. He called me a week before my wedding to review my ideas. I told him about this stress and gave him a lot of freedom with the music. He did a great job in engaging the crowd, was very pleasant to work with, and very personable. Jimmy was very flexible and was open to changes shortly before the wedding and the day of. A DJ can make or break a wedding, but I have no complaints about Jimmy! I had several guests give compliments about his service!

We had DJ Jimmy Lex aka Jim Lecksell. He was seriously amazing. He wanted to meet up with us in person to get a feel for our personality and what we wanted for our reception. At around 1 we passed by the venue and he was already there hard at work! He was easy to communicate with - text/email/phone. I am not personally a dancer and he had me along with most of our guests on the dance floor the entire night!! I would highly recommend him and CJ Sound to anyone! Oh and he even took a group photo at the end of the night of all our guests !!!!

We had Dj Jimmy S and couldnt of been happier! He was such a sweet guy and really helped keep the momentum of the party at high energy all night. We had so many comploments about the music and the dj. We also had the LED photo booth which was great and so much fun. We originally thought the cost was a bit high but it was worth every penny!!

If you want a Photo Booth at your wedding, CJ Sound is the vendor for you! We rented the inflatable photo booth & props with the attendant for 3 hours. The guests loved the Photo Booth and were in and out all night! The attendant was extremely friendly and attentive and was extremely flexible! He had an entire album with all of the photo albums ready for us by the end of the night. It made the reception a blast and it was extremely affordable compared to other photo booth options! Highly recommend!

We had Jimmy for our wedding DJ and he did not disappoint! Our goal was to keep the dance floor filled and people having fun and that is exactly what he delivered! The up lighting, which he controlled throughout the night also set the perfect tone for the evening, soft/elegant lighting for dinner then more fun/dance party vibe later on in the night! They did an amazing job! We had DJ Dennis and he was so accommodating! The dance floor was crowded all night! We also had the Photo Booth. One suggestion I would have is to have a better selection of props for the photo booth. Everyone loved the photo booth and we ended up with 2 albums since so many people took photos. The attendant did a great job having the pictures ready to go as soon as you got out. I highly recommend this company!
