  A Charming Place

  The Civitan Beach House is a charming venue for parties or weddings; it's in a great location, right on the beach, and the cost is reasonable. Our family enjoyed the deck as well as the lighted dance floor and there are round tables and chairs are included with the rental.

  Hidden Gem

  We had a great experience with the Civitan Beach House for our wedding. Even when the rain forced our ceremony indoors, our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. Would definitely get married here again!

  Great venue for a great cost.

  Had my wedding here, it was a great venue with beautiful views. I loved being able to bring outside vendors and alcohol as well as being able to rent for the whole day and not just a few hours giving us times to prepare and clean up.

  Gorgeous Location

  We had an absolutely wonderful evening. The Civilian Beach Club is directly on the beach and has amazing sunsets. The lighting is great, plenty of room, new floors, a lovely deck, plenty of parking and a large area for the bridal party to change if needed. We loved it and would do it all over again!

  The civitan is a beautiful beach venue! Definitely gives the causal old Florida vibes but can be dressed up beautifully! The beach house has been updated and always is clean and ready to go! Perfect beach wedding or venue rental!!

  My husband and I booked this venue through Orange Blossom Caterers and it was exellent, clean and beautiful. More than enough space to fit our Wedding Guest of 15 people. I will use this venue again. It was beautiful.

  Beautiful Beach Venue

  We has our wedding at the Civitan in April 2019. The venue is absolutely wonderful. It is perfect doe those wanting an outside beach ceremony with reception inside. The Civitan was very clean and had majority of the basics needed for a reception. It is also located very close to many lodging accommodations and restaurants. Lauren was a great help along the way. If we had to do choose a venue all over we would definitely choose this place again.

  Great Location

  We had our wedding there July 2019. Great location right on the beach. Small town feel for the venue. It was perfect for destination wedding crowd. The AC needs a bit of work. They had put new flooring in which totally made the place!! Needs a little work, however it has a very old soul type feel which we liked about the venue!

  This venue is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a beach wedding reception, however dealing with orange blossom catering to rent it out is an absolutely awful experience. We weren't allowed to decorate ahead of time, I had to fight for everything with them. They wanted everything cleaned up and removed from the venue the night of the wedding and it wasn't until I fought with them that I was finally allowed to get my things the next day. If they had someone else running the venue it would have been much better. The venue itself is great, and being able to decorate yourself, and bring in your own alcohol is definitely a plus, it turned out beautiful and the space was perfect for what we wanted.

We have recently hired an event coordinator to facilitate showing, booking and scheduling to make the use of our venue a wonderful experience and place to have your wedding! We now have a variety of catering options and greater ability to take assist a wedding parties unique schedule and needs! As well we have recently made a number of improvements to the property and will be adding wedding packages as well!

  If you are thinking about booking here, just make sure you get in writing that their air conditioning is functioning properly. Probably in your contract with them. By far the worst and most embarrassing experience I have been through in a long time. My wife and I had our wedding here at the Civitan just a few weeks ago. It was over 80 degrees in the establishment upon arrival. Our guest were leaving cause of the heat, wedding cake was falling over, and to top it off they blamed us for the air conditioning problems. I spoke with a very rude man that sits on the board of directors for this beach club. Really wasn't impressed on how he went about handling the situation. Before booking any event I highly recommend in your contract that the air conditioning is functioning properly. Once they revive your money they could careless about the event or out come. I was told and i quote "I would be lucky to get a $250 refund" for the issues I had with venue. For spending over $1300 you would think they would be a little more sympathetic or at least show they cared a little bit. PLEASE THINK TWICE!!! Now the Orange blossom catering they recommend was great did above and beyond what was expected from them!! I would highly recommend them for your event. Very professional, helpful, and most important their food was amazing. By far over exceeded my expectations.
