We absolutely loved everything about planning and having our wedding at CityFlats. From the very beginning before we booked, Amber and the City Flats staff were so accommodating and super responsive. It made planning so easy and the whole wedding process stress free. I feel like everyone went above and beyond to help make our day special. We really couldn’t have asked for a better day and planning process. All of our guests loved everything and we wish we could do it all over again.

CityFlats is a hidden gem in Port Huron that is home to a beautiful ballroom, good food, and helpful staff! This location worked perfectly for our American/Canadian wedding, and was a great spot for an intimate ceremony of less than 120 guests. Amber was very helpful to us from the beginning, answering all of our questions and moving the process quickly since we only had a few months between finding our venue and the wedding. Unlike a lot of other venues, things such as chairs, tables, and linen colors were included in the pricing. All of our guests continually commented on how beautiful the venue was, and how much they enjoyed the food. The bank vault was a feature our guests particularly enjoyed, especially the kids. A bridal suite was included in our package, which made getting ready the day of very convenient. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a spot for their wedding!

My husband and I got married at CityFlatsHotel Port Huron on 02.12.22 and we had a GREAT experience!! All the staff was incredible but I have to give a shout out to Jenny for helping us coordinate our dream day! She answered question after question for me, responds quickly and even the silliest questions were made important. We were so well taken care of, our guests had a blast and LOVED the vault! Everything seemed “easier” than I imagined it would be! From our guests only great things have been relayed to us. We get to be guests in October and I am so excited to experience it in all ways possible! I am also a hairstylist and have worked on location and again as always everyone is so kind! We are local to the area and I must also rave about the restaurants they have to offer! Location has great photo opportunities as well, including the vault, lights downtown, river, and of course the ballroom itself!

I wish I could give CityFlats 100 stars! They were exceptional. The venue itself is beautiful and unique, right downtown and on the water. Our guests loved the bank vault! The food was delicious, we had many positive comments. The staff was so amazing! From the very beginning, Jess responded promptly to every email answering all of our questions and going above and beyond to meet our every wish. On the day of our wedding, we were treated like royalty by everyone on staff! One of my bridesmaids had wet hair and forgot a blowdryer when we were getting ready. Jess ran home and brought back her personal hair dryer for us to use! Can't say enough good things about CityFlats!

For the value, it’s amazing! The staff was super helpful. We did have a communication issue intially, but they quickly corrected it. We were able to get in the day earlier (no event scheduled on that Friday) to set up everything which really helped.

Beautiful venue. The staff was amazing the day of my wedding! They were so helpful and very flexible! I had the best day and night. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!

While our wedding was great due to the company we invited there was a few issues with the venue that can be looked past but should be mentioned. First, the wedding signage that was supposed be put out was not so no one knew where the cocktail hour was on the CityFloats barge—making our timeline off. Second, our last name was spelled wrong on one of the signs. Overbooking rooms that had been booked over a year in advance. No parking lot lines, and no handicap parking. Grossly understaffed—no wedding coordinator like stated in contract. The attention to detail severely lacks on the day of compared to during the planning process. The staff did not help with the ballroom set up on Friday as we had a Saturday wedding. THE FOOD IS SUBPAR AT BEST. Steaks were hockey pucks. If you book here I would highly recommend doing a buffet, I wish I would have. It is a beautiful venue just poorly staffed, and should allow the individual to bring in their own catering. I highly recommend the CityFloats for cocktail hour—despite all the issues we had with the venue itself that made the night 10x better.
