Perfect Experience

City View catering was the absolute best part of our wedding. From the first tasting to the final tasting, we were so impressed by City View. They went above and beyond to not only build a beautiful menu that accommodated everyone’s needs, but also made sure that the vegetarians/vegans were taken care of outside of our planned menu. The coolest thing that I just keep going back to is that they made sure my 90 year old boss not only had a plate made for her, but also brought her a printed menu to see what she wanted from the buffet line. It has been two full months since our wedding took place and guests are still talking about the amazing food and how wonderful it was. I would recommend them 100 times over and over again. Absolute best part of our wedding, HANDS DOWN! I love them so much.

Hire for your events!

City View Catering could not have done a more fantastic job on our wedding day. All the guests raved about the food, they set up special hot coco/coffee station during cocktail hour for our winter wedding, and they gave top notch service. From start to finish, they made us feel like a part of their family. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Highly recommend !

City view catering was amazing to work with. They offer many options which is very helpful when choosing a menu. Sharon was great to work with, she communicated thoroughly and provided helpful tips. The food was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests. The staff was very attentive during our dinner and took care of all of our guests. Everyone loved the churros and coffee they provided for our late snack. I highly recommend them !!

People haven’t stopped talking about our food!

The number of people who have told me this is the best wedding food they ever had, including vendors, guest, etc., is actually crazy! City view was so amazing and accommodating to my husband and I am making sure we both got everything that we wanted. My photographer texted me during the reception and told me it was the best wedding food that he ever had. My coworkers have not stopped talking about how great the food was. One of my bridesmaids said it was the best Caesar salad she’s ever had in her life.

I would book city view over and over and over again without a question they were amazing and we are so grateful that they were part of our day!

Exceptional quality, service, and taste!

From communication to the tasting to the service at the wedding, City View delivered in a major way. Sharon was absolutely amazing to work with and our tastings were fun and delicious! Almost every one of our guests that spoke to us throughout the night raved about how amazing the food was. Two of our guests are chefs who have been featured on several tv shows and own their own business. I asked the about the food and they both lit up and said how impressed they were with the every aspect of the food, but mainly how well prepared and tasty it was. City View was recommended to us and we found out why. Thank you Sharon and the entire staff there for making our special night that much more special!

Amazing Catering Company!

I cannot say enough good things about City View! The entire experience with them was excellent and so much fun. We enjoyed getting to go to the tastings to create our perfect menu. Successful vegetarian wedding impressed all guests

Cityview provided professional grade food that we were genuinely excited to share with our guests. They were also much more affordable than some of the other options we had looked at and more flexible to boot! They helped us create a menu we felt could impress everyone and liked our late night snack idea (we wanted a toast bar and they delivered a wonderful custom option for this!). Cityview was also very professional, friendly, and allowed us to do multiple tastings to craft a menu that made sense. They also allowed the bride and groom (us!) to have a slightly different meal if we preferred and seamlessly flowed into our venue space. They also eased our concerns about our guests' food allergies and were diligent about communicating with us well in advance to make sure everyone could comfortably eat. You know the food is good when people ask you weeks after your wedding who you catered with. We highly recommend the vegetable wellington tower, SO GOOD.

I would choose City View every time. Their service is unmatched! Quick communication, polite, knowledgeable, and professional. The food was absolutely amazing. They suggested menu items for us to try based on our preferences. They really got to know us and were able to make suggestions to make our wedding even better! The BEST caterers!

From the tasting all the way to the wedding, City View Catering was awesome. The tasting was amazing as we got to taste more foods then we asked for based on our choices and their recommendations! We ended up picking an entree that we didn’t even have on our radar at first. I never stressed about if they were going to do a good job or not because I knew they would. We have had so many compliments from our guests on how good the food was! Me and my husband were very pleased with our dinner as well! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer in the Houston area!

Amazing company and food!

We loved using City View for our wedding. We got them through a vendor package and could not have been happier! The food turned out amazing and everyone loved it. Our tasting experience was amazing and we were sent home with so many leftovers! They were also very accommodating for guests that have severe food allergies and created entire separate meals for them. Truly an amazing experience with delicious food!! Our favorites were the tortellini, lemon roasted potatoes, green beans, fried asparagus (appetizer), chicken mango skewers (appetizer), and the chicken parmesan.

Service At Its Best

As the title says, City View provides great service from the beginning of the wedding planning process to the end! They allow 2 complimentary tastings - one early on to ensure you love their food, and the second being an opportunity to try the food again and finalize your menu. Additionally, they do not skimp on the food during these tastings either! You and whoever you bring with you will be going home with plenty of leftovers. I do not know of many catering companies that do this, which is one of the reasons why having City View cater your wedding is so worth it!

You definitely get great value for your money with the food served on the day of as well - a charcuterie display or passed appetizers, salad, bread, as well as the main entrees and cake cutting services. Not to mention how beautiful their presentation is! Many of our guests loved the flower garnishes. And I saw lots of clean plates. So ultimately, I was very happy with the menu they helped my husband and me create as well as the fact that they prepare whatever meals the bride and groom want for themselves regardless of what is offered to the guests. We couldn't have asked for more!

Guests Still Rave About the Food!

From the very beginning, our experience with this catering company was nothing short of exceptional. Our initial tastings completely exceeded our expectations! It was such a fun experience and each dish felt like it came from a high-end restaurant. The quality, flavor, and presentation of the food were outstanding!

Our second tasting, where we finalized our menu, was not only delicious but also such a fun and memorable experience. The team made us feel so special and involved in the process, and they helped us build a menu that truly reflected our tastes and vision for the day. They even provided special meals (vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free) for a few of our guests who have special meal needs. This was such a special touch and appreciated highly!

On our wedding day, the food was a HUGE hit. We had multiple guests come up to us to say how much they loved the meal, and several even asked for the catering information so they could use them for their own future events. The staff didn’t truly went above and beyond. They made sure my husband and I were always taken care of, ensure the lines ran smoothly, and continued to check on every table during the meal! Our guests were incredibly impressed by the team's professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. They worked seamlessly behind the scenes while still making everyone felt cared for.

We can’t recommend City View enough. They played such a key role in making our wedding unforgettable, and we’re so grateful for everything they did!

Worth every penny

Everything from start to beginning was perfect with city view. The food tasting experience was so fun, they were very flexible with our allergies (celiacs, and cilantro). There were plenty of options to choose from and they added in some recommendations that were spot on. The wedding was great, catering style was classy with their beautiful presentation and the food was talked about lots! All my friends said they expected great food since I was a foodie but it was even better than expected! We went with a plantain crusted chicken which was a unique choice burger everyone LOVED it! Even the older crowd couldn’t stop talking about the food. I couldn’t recommend city view enough!

The Best Catering Team!

City View was the absolute best catering company we could’ve asked for. The team was easy to work with and were upfront and honest about what to expect. They treated us well from beginning to end, and made sure our wedding night was perfect. Now, let’s talk FOOD. OMG, when I say amazing, I mean AMAZING. From our initial tasting to our wedding night, everything was delicious and plated beautifully. The cherry on top is that they are reasonably priced! We did a ton of research of different caterers in the Houston area, and even did some other tastings, and City View beat them both on price and quality. 10/10 experience, and I would absolutely recommend them to other couples looking for an amazing wedding caterer! Amazing Quality and Service

Rachel and CVC provided an incredible experience for us and our wedding guests. Multiple people at the wedding mentioned this was the best wedding food they ever had (even at their own weddings).
Moreover CVC helped us achieve our perfect wedding dinner while ensuring we met our budget constraints. Even switching over to buffet-style service so close to the wedding.
Rachel was a joy to work with and during our tastings and conversation provided great ideas, pairings and overall guidance. We highly recommend CVC to anyone in the Houston area.

Amazing Wedding Caterer

City View Catering is the best wedding caterer! First, CVC invited my husband (fiancee at the time), my parents, and my sister to the tasting. My family felt very included in the process and loved it. The food presentation was lovely and the food was delicious. We were so full after the tasting! I also loved that the price was TRANSPARENT! Many of the other caterers will list a price/person... but then add on other hidden fees as the end of the quote. We felt that the price was great for the value of the food. Throughout the process, the staff was very responsive with all of my questions. On the day of the wedding, the delivery was seamless. My guests were very impressed with the food. I highly recommend City View Catering!

City view is phenomenal!

We absolutely love Cityview! This catering company is amazing . Everything from the initial tasting to the actual wedding day phenomenal. We worked with Demetria and she was fantastic. She and all the staff are super friendly. She was always quick to respond to any questions I had and they were always accommodating to any of our needs. She was always honest about pricing and gave suggestions on how we can stay in budget but still get everything we wanted . Not to mention to food is delicious!! I still have guest telling me how good the food was at our wedding! Our wedding was the weekend after Hurricane Beryl and they went above and beyond to make sure they were still accommodate our wedding day. They did an outstanding job. I am so impressed with their professionalism and their ability keep the ball rolling even after a major storm. They never missed a beat. We are very happy we hired Cityview as our catering company and will definitely use them again for any other events we may have!

THE best catering experience

My husband and I are SO blessed we chose CVC for our wedding. Book them, you won’t regret it. Our guests told us food at weddings is usually just fine and ours was incredible. Exceptional Wedding Caterer!

We selected City View Catering for our daughter's wedding reception (size 150 guests). From the first tasting through the end of the food service at the reception, each person we came in contact with this vendor with went above and beyond to make the bride and groom's wedding day extra special and personalized. As the mother of the bride, I appreciated the extensive options at the tastings, the detailed quotes, and timely communication when I had questions. The quality of the food at the reception was outstanding--many of our guests commented that the food was the best they've had at a wedding reception and was beautifully presented. Five Star Catering Experience

Couldn’t have picked a better catering company!

Like a lot of people, when we started wedding planning we were blown away by the cost of vendors. Not only that, but we were blown away by the quotes we saw online not being the true quote that you would be responsible for paying for at the end of the day. With catering companies you would see a lot of $40 a person, but there were a lot of hidden costs that would be in there that would raise the cost by 5-10 thousand dollars! With City View what they quote is completely accurate and there are no hidden costs. We knew exactly what were going to get and what we were paying for. Not only are they affordable but the food and the experience is AMAZING! The tasting left us not being able to eat any more (they want to make sure you try everything you want and then some!) and we were stuck not being able to make a decision are particular dishes because they were ALL so good. We had two tastings, one to do an initial tasting and then a second to finalize the menu for the event. I loved our experience from beginning to end, and so did my family members and friends. Some comments from the guests were “the food is best food I’ve ever had at a wedding” “there was so much food they gave us” “there was so much to choose from and they let me have as much as we wanted”.

I promise you will not be disappointed by going with City View!

Their tasting and decision-making process is exceptional, and we enjoyed every tasting session throughout the wedding planning process. They provide a wide array of choices to sample from and assist in selecting the best meal presentation. The Chicken Wellington Tower was SO GOOD! Their food is perfectly seasoned, tastes fresh and not processed, unlike many other caterers we tried. Van and Rachel's communication was excellent, and they promptly addressed any questions we had. Fantastic Food with Fantastic Service

From start to finish, we had a fantastic experience with Rachel, Van, and City View Catering. Their attentiveness, customer service, and, most importantly, food can't be beat.

Before you even book, you get a complimentary tasting that involves farm more food than anyone should reasonably be able to eat. Closer to your event, you get a second tasting, to finalize the menu and begin figuring out all of the details.

Throughout the process, Rachel was very responsive, working with us to address additions, subtractions, and customized dishes for our guests with food allergies.

The day of our wedding, the staff was on right time and immediately jumped into working on setting up tables and chairs. Dinner was ready to go exactly when we needed it, and the buffet system they used meant everyone got their food fast. We got compliments all night long about how much everyone loved their dinner!

Similar to set-up, breakdown was a breeze and got everything put away in no time.

Great service, amazing good

We have tried a few caterers for our wedding, but City View was by far the best. Their food is so good, and it was the perfect temperature when served. The buffet was visually beautiful, as was our charcuterie table. We have received so many compliments from guests that were impressed by the food and service. This caterer is INCREDIBLE!

They were one of the recommended caterers at my venue, and the owner let it slip that CityView was by far her favorite.

Their location, is not in the best side of town, but I scheduled our tastings, and they asked me not only to invite my fiancé, but our parents too. (Mine live locally). Our tastings before the wedding were top tier, the food doesn’t just taste amazing, but the presentation is beautiful too.

What I really want to add… we had a wedding package that was supposed to include another vendor’s wedding cake and desserts …. But we weren’t impressed, and asked if we could have the $ applied toward CityView and use them for desserts instead.

Our venue and CityView accommodated us with PREMIUM desserts + a special custom dessert serving at no additional cost. She even included an extra appetizer for us.

Perfect caterer!

Sharon was so helpful in deciding our perfect wedding entree and sides. We had one guest who was a pescatarian and she arranged a meal specific to that guest for no charge at all! City View went above and beyond for us. Not only was the food and set up amazing, but when my day of coordinator fell through on the day of my wedding their team stepped up to make sure that our day was flawless. We have gotten so many compliments on our food and would 100% suggest them and use them for any large event we have.
I am gluten-free and they made our entire event gluten-free. They had gluten-free bread as well as all the entrees were gluten-free. They also accommodated our 4 vegan guests as well as our pescatarian guest.
They made us so comfortable through the whole process. I could not recommend them enough.

The Rockstars of Houston Catering

Can I give 1000 stars?? That is what CityView deserves. They elevated our daughters wedding. I can’t tell you how many phone calls/ text messages we received after the wedding saying the food was the best they ever had at a wedding. Victoria was so much fun to work with. She is smart, organized and thoughtful. Anna was also such a stand out to me. She is so very kind during our initial set up of tastings/ contract information. It meant SO much when I had been dealing with a variety of unkind people within the wedding planning process. They know how to cook, they know how to present and they know how to hire servers. My water goblet was never half full. The staff was next to none. I almost pinched myself at the wedding because they are so next level. And guess what ? They didn’t have all the “hidden fees/ service charges “ that jack up your total at the end like so many of the other caterers have. Straightforward. Love them. They are indeed the rockstars of catering in the Houston area.

From the initial tasting, they gave an amazing presentation with a level of service and attention to detail much higher than the other caterers we were vetting. Fabulous!

CVC was fabulous! They were a lot of fun to work with and the food was fantastic. They went above and beyond for us and made my daughters wedding perfect. Amazing, highly recommend!

I was very pleased with CityView and their staff, I hired them as a caterer for my wedding. No other catering company can compare to them. CityView made sure from the very beginning that my wedding would be their top priority. From the initial tasting to introduce us to their food and the many catering dishes they offer. They made sure to find the best menu that would accommodate my guests. I I was very impressed with their services and will recommend them every chance I get. My wedding day ran smoothly, they were on time, the food tasted just as good as our initial tasting. They made sure every guest was well fed. The plus was my guests enjoyed the setup of cocktail hour and the buffet area. They also did not have a long wait to eat at any time. Absolutely incredible from start to finish

Van, Rachel, and the whole team at City View Catering are phenomenal. From the initial menu tasting to cleaning the night of our event, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The power went out at our venue for about 2.5 hours and the team was so adaptable and willing to help where they could. Fortunately, the power came on just before guests started arriving but they were prepared to move the entire dinner downstairs for us. We got so many complements on the food and the service. The dessert station was a crowd pleaser and everything was delicious.

We highly recommend City View for your wedding. We were blown away by the care, professionalism, and quality of their work.

P.S. the leftovers are nice too (you’ll see)

City View was absolutely amazing! Over a month after my wedding and I am still getting feedback from guests that LOVED the food more than anything. Van, Sharon, and Rachel are all wonderful and truly cared about making this the best experience. The tastings were incredible, and I knew from the first visit we had to have them as our caterers. Most amazing food and overall catering experience

Wow! It’s been over a week and we are still hearing feedback from our guests on how amazing the food was. From working with Van in the beginning to Rachel’s prompt updates during the entire planning process and her flawless execution on the day of, we can not be happier with City View and their team. We went pretty different with our meal, brunch type foods, and our menu that was guided by CVC was so creative and beautifully staged. The stations and pre-set salads, all suggested by them made everything move so quick and our guests so happy. They are not the typical “mediocre meat and a side that you wait 40 minutes to be served at a wedding” caterer. They are true chefs that are passionate and family oriented. Rachel and the whole CVC team blew us and our guests away- PLEASE do not think twice about going with them. As a couple that was very out of our comfort zone planning such a big wedding, City View handled so much and was so reassuring and accommodating. I can’t recommend them enough.

The Big Day

Working with the team at CityView was a favorable experience. The coordinators really go out of the way on their presentation. The menus are exquisite and the tastings were a joy. Had we been able to choose more than one/two dishes, would have been an absolutely dream. Our choice was over and beyond our expectations. We have heard rave reviews from guests regarding the freshness and quality of our catering. Wish we could do it all over again!!!

Best wedding food our guests have ever had!

Working with Cityview was amazing from start to wedding day!! From the beginning, we were attracted to them due to their competitive pricing but were absolutely blown away by the quality of food and service during our tasting. It's very apparent that Van, the owner, is extremely passionate about his business, his food, and the guest experience. He warned us about how much food there was going to be at the tasting and he was right!! There was about 5 lbs of food per person and we were able to take home and enjoy the leftovers. The *free* tasting sealed the deal for us and our second tasting to determine the menu selections was just as fun! Sharon oversaw this tasting and offered great recommendations for which sides paired well with which entrees. The overall experience was really fun and we didn't have to worry at all on the day of the wedding. Although we didn't get to taste the vegetarian options, our vegetarian guests all said that the food was really really good. We had several guests tell us that it was "the best wedding food they've ever had" and they also really enjoyed the charcuterie spread during cocktail hour. I loved that the bride and groom got their own special meals (I personally had lobster linguine and I ate every bite of it)! We also got a little bit of everything from the buffet packed to-go at the end of the night, which saved us after the wedding from the drunchies. Overall, I highly recommend hiring Cityview Catering for your event and know that they're going to blow you away like they did for us!

Amazing and Delicious

Van and his team are exceptional. From the first tasting, which had more food options than you can believe, to communicating with them, to the final tasting, to the wedding day, they exceeded all our expectations. Van and his family took great care of us for our wedding. We had a few strange requests, and they took them in stride. They operate with the utmost professionalism, and you can tell that they truly care about their clients. You cannot go wrong with hiring City View.

Not only was our chef gifted with flavor and skill, he was such a wonderful idea guy! Excellent Food

As the parent of the bride, I would highly recommend City View. Customer service was great, but more so the guest said how much they loved the food. Their presentation at the tasting and venue was great. We had so much food at the tasting, I had to bring some home with us. My husband was also give an apple caramel pie to take home as a surprise. Best Wedding Food

The entire experience was so much of getting ready for our wedding. The tastings were amazing and they’re SO kind by giving you the left overs. You can’t go wrong with anything that you pick. They even surprised us with things we didn’t ask for which was such a treat in itself. Our final tasting was just as amazing as the first. This time it was closer to thanksgiving. My dad noticed they were making apple pies , which he loves , he mentioned to the cooks how great it looked. Before we left that day , one of the cooks have my dad a apple pie. The entire staff is amazing and so extremely kind. This was the best tasting ever and they stood out so much more than the others. I continue to talk about how great they were in presentation, set up’s, and taking care of us for our wedding day. It was worth every penny for sure.

Unparalleled quality, incredible presentation

Sharon and her team were amazing to work with. Their food was top notch-- even dishes I normally don't care for became exquisite treats when I had them at her tastings. I don't know how she does it-- but there wasn't a single thing I have eaten from CityView Catering that I wasn't impressed with.

CityView not only knocked it out of the park on the taste front, but their presentation of the food was on point. The way they bundle the salad-- inviting the guest to open it and unfurl the greens, sets the tone for the excellence to follow. I hope one of our photographers got some pictures of the appetizer bar. I loved it!

You won't go wrong with CityView. I would consider them for catering anything-- and I'm grateful I had the opportunity to have them serve our guests.

I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with City View Catering! Van and Sharon go above and beyond to ensure that everything from the first tasting to the reception is top notch. Their response time is very fast and all of our questions were answered and addressed. The tastings are like no other! We had 6 guests at the private first tasting and we all left with full stomachs and leftovers to try at home. The presentation is beautiful and the food is fabulous! Truly like being at a 5 star restaurant! Then they allow a final tasting before the wedding. Sharon helped us finalize our selections by creating a colorful, incredible tasting menu for our guests. They will even help with dietary restrictions for guests and special menu options for the bride and groom. At the reception, their staff was professional and the presentation was absolutely beautiful! Our guests raved about the menu items and the efficiency of the buffet line. We selected the City View Salad, Winter Salad, Chicken Wellington, Spice Rubbed Pork Tenderloin, Julienne Vegetables, Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon, and Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes. For the cocktail hour we selected the Bruschetta and Tapanade and International Cheese Display. Hands down the best wedding food ever!! Look no further! Outstanding Caterers - need to book!!!

City View Catering was one of my favorite parts of the wedding. First of all, you get two tastings that are complementary and let me tell you, everything is DELICIOUS. I really wish they would open a restaurant! They have SO many options and are willing to let you try everything and anything. We worked with Van but mostly with Rachel. They are pros at catering events and know the ins and outs better than any other caterer we met with. I was told i had the fanciest wedding food from multiple people and they couldnt get enough of it. From our first visit with Van and his team, we were incredibly impressed. The food was amazing, and there were so many options in our price point. We got to meet with City View two times for tastings before our wedding to finalize details.

I have heard from so many people at our wedding say that our food was the best wedding food they have ever had. As my husband and I greeted our guests at dinner, we noticed our guests’ plates basically licked clean. They also gave my husband and I whatever meal we wanted! We chose steak, lobster, and bacon wrapped asparagus; it was incredible!

My guests also commented that the staff was very professional the entire night, which was wonderful to hear.

Well Worth It!

It is well worth it to make room for City View Catering in your budget! From unbelievable food, to cake cutting, and bussing; they do it all! Van and his amazing team help couples build the perfect menu for their big day. They also construct a well thought out serving plan to ensure guests are taken care. I can not brag on their services enough. They were truly amazing! In fact, my husband and I still have guests talking about how amazing the food was. The comment we hear the most, "IT WAS THE BEST WEDDING FOOD WE HAVE EVER HAD!"

Awesome!!!

City view was great to work with. They made the process very easy and offered great input along the way. All the food was so delicious, it was hard to decide on what to serve. We received many compliments on the food the night of the wedding which was great! We wanted the food to be yummy and hot, which it was. They even made a special dinner for my daughter, the bride and our new son in law! That was a special treat!! We loved the mac and cheese trio SO much, we got some for our Christmas Eve dinner!!!! Highly recommend this vendor for any event!! One word.... YUMMY!!!

Excellent catering experience!

From the very first time I made an inquiry to CityView Catering about possibly catering our daughter's wedding, Van was very helpful. Out of this world service and food!

Our experience with City View was amazing from start to finish! We had a large tasting before we booked them as a vendor - everything we sampled was beyond amazing and we were even able to take home the leftovers. We had another tasting to pick our menu for the wedding and the food was as good as we had remembered it. Everything went very smoothly on the day of the wedding and we received so many compliments about the food from our guests. The only complaint was from a few people saying their chicken came out slightly cold but that it still tasted fantastic. So glad we booked them for our wedding day!

Excellent Food and Service

City View Catering went above and beyond for our wedding! The one thing that we wanted to make sure of was that our guests enjoyed their meals and had a great time. Every single person that we talked to said that they LOVED the food, not one complaint! City View even made sure to accommodate our guests with allergies to ensure they would be able to eat their meals. They made great recommendations for us at our tasting and made sure that we were 100% happy with our choices. I would definitely recommend City View for an event of any size!

First Class All Around

Van and Christy did a beautiful job at Alexia and Dylan's wedding. The meal was delicious, and we had so many people complimenting us on the food. A month later, we are still hearing it was the BEST food ever at any wedding. The presentation was beautiful, and it was exactly what we were looking for from the caterer. I was sold the first moment I talked to Van and he suggested we incorporate the Cajun twist into our menu. Van heard me when I said Dylan's family was from LA. After speaking to so many other caterers, he was the only one who heard what I was saying and saw my vision. I applaud and commend you for not only your terrific listening skills but the delicious food, fabulous presentation and professional staff.

His staff was friendly and professional and kept our guests fed, and the tables bussed all night. I have recommended your company to a few of our friends who are getting married in the future.

City View is amazing!

Van and Christy with CVC are awesome, as well as their entire team! You can pick from their menu of food items or tell them what you want and they make it for you. The food was delicious and we got so many compliments. We even used their bartenders for our bar. Van even helped us make a list of drinks/alcohol for our guest count. You will not be disappointed by using City View!

Best Catering Company!

The team at City View is amazing - great food, service, and responsive! Easiest part of planning a wedding. Christy and Sharon are so understanding and helpful. They gave great recommendations for the entire event. I have never been to a wedding where people compliment the food, but they did at mine! #1 comment we got was how good the food was.

Highlight of our wedding!

We knew we had to go with City View from our very first tasting with them! Their food was absolutely delicious and Van and his team were so accommodating and wanted to make sure that our wedding day was exactly what we envisioned. Delicious Food

City View Catering was amazing from our taste testing up to the day of our wedding. My mother recommended them because they catered her office for events. The whole staff is very nice and easy to communicate with. Demetra organized a tasting for me, my soon-to-be bride, and her parents. Our tasting was amazing and expansive. I have never tasted such delicious catering and a wide range of food in all my life. We tasted dish after dish. Demetra was nice enough to provide a detailed list of all the food we were tasting to make notes for ourselves. At the end of the tasting, meals were packed and given to us to take home. Their catering was the talk of that evening, following the next day.

Our wedding was a big hit due to the delicious food and I personally thanked their staff during the groom’s speech. I highly recommend City View Catering for any social event because of their pricing options, variety of delicious food, and customer service!

The food and service were GREAT!

Sharon and the rest of the City View team that worked at our wedding were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, every single item! My guest could not stop talking about how good the food was. City View made a special meal for us, the bride and groom, that was different than the rest of the food options. Also, they sent us back to our hotel with to-go plates, which were delicious after a night of drinking. I would definitely recommend City View as a caterer for anyone's wedding.

DELICIOUS FOOD! Our wedding guests enjoyed our wedding food and they said it was the best food they have tasted at weddings. We had the buffet-style catering and all the meats came out moist and juicy. Great pricing as well! Victoria and Van are both a joy to work with. Highly recommend to do a food tasting with them first and you won't be tasting anyone else.

We selected City View for our wedding catering. After a disappointing tasting with another very popular wedding caterer in Houston, we tried City View and we were blown away! City View's food was AMAZING and we received many compliments from our guests. Our guests remarked it was so much better than typical "wedding food". The food was very fresh tasting, unlike other catered food I've had which doesn't do so well out on a buffet line! In fact, I still dream about Van's spinach salad and the parmesan risotto...

Their presentation also makes the food look like a work of art. They decorated our buffet and appetizer stations to match our decor perfectly. They do SO much more than just set some pans of food out on a table. The staff of City View (specifically Van and Sharon) are fantastic. We loved that we were able to do two tastings, and bring guests with us to help us decide. City View gave us great suggestions to help put a good menu together, and stay within our budget.

I highly recommend City View Catering! The customer service that Van, Sharon and their daughter give you is first class! Van had me convinced from the first tasting that I did with him. I did not have to lift a finger on my Wedding Day because the staff was overly attentive to my husband and I, and also to my guests! I plan on using them to cater my events in the future. My husband and I are self-proclaimed foodies. We met Van and Sharon through our venue, The Heights Villa, and there was an immediate connection. After our first tasting we were certain that they were the perfect caterer for wedding. We worked closely with them during all of our tastings to create the ideal menu to satisfy our tastes and give our guests an exciting meal. Also, since my husband does not like cake we worked with Sharon on the perfect combination of chocolate and vanilla pecan tarts to serve in place of the groom’s cake.

Along the way Van and Sharon worked extremely hard to make sure that we had our dream wedding menu. Since the then we have had so many compliments on not only the menu selections but the quality of food served by City View Catering. On top of being extremely pleased with Van and Sharon, their catering staff worked tirelessly throughout our entire event. At the end of the night all of our food was packed up ready to go for us which was great! Especially considering that the next few days we did not have to worry about meals and we were able to relive the wonder food all over again.

When people tell you that your reception was full of the absolute best wedding food they've ever had, you know that you made the right choice in caterer.

City View was one of the preferred caterers recommended by our venue, and we're so glad that we chose them. They were very communicative from the very beginning, and as soon as we went to our first tasting with them, we knew they had the food that we wanted. We decided to have cocktail hour hors d'ouevres and a buffet which began with plated salads. Their salads are presented as a "deconstructed" salad which provides a cool look on the tables as well and has the advantage of giving guests something to eat instead of rushing the buffet lines. Thanks again! We truly appreciate all of your hard work.

The food was delicious! It was exactly what we had discussed in the planning. We even asked for Van to make a special item for us that was not on his menu. He pulled it off. It was a hit. I tasted City View Catering a few years ago at a friend's wedding. I later found out they did corporate catering and was able to get them to come out for a tasting so we could taste their food. Their food is AMAZING and they are always super professional. We used them a lot for catering meetings. Everyone was super impressed with their quality and presentation. I recently found out City View is now a preferred vendor at our wedding venue and IMMEDIATELY booked with them even though we had originally chosen a different vendor at that time. My fiance and parents were at an open house at the venue we chose and they LOVED the food. I am so excited City View will be able to cater at our wedding!

We could not have asked for a more amazing caterer! We originally learned about them at an open house at the venue we later selected, and we were blown away by how good they were. They were willing to work with us to find acceptable options for the menu that were within our budget. They provided an elegant display for the buffet and high-quality, delicious food. People are still telling us how amazing the food was! They provide a doggy bag of food for the bride and groom to take at the end of the night, and that was probably the most thoughtful detail of all. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a caterer for any event.

We wanted "wedding food" that was a little unconventional and would really stick out to our guests, and Van exceeded all expectations. City View Catering is owned by a husband, Van and his wife Sharon and many of the employees are family or have been with them so long they are part of the family too! When Van first met with us he said come to a private tasting and if we don't get it right or you want to try other food we'll do it until you feel we have it right. On our second tasting Sharon was with us and we decided that we wanted a third entrée for variety and because I don't eat beef. We had so far selected the Chicken Chasseur and the carved roasted N.Y. Strip Loin Ala Roma. The chicken was delicious and the beef got really high marks from our friends. That's right, they asked us to bring at least 3 friends with us to get their opinions. The friends were amazed. On the 2nd tasting, I wasn't crazy about the salmon that we tried and said I had been spoiled by my partners salmon and Sharon said, "How do you two make it?". We gave her the recipe and they made it for us to try on a third tasting and it was great. Also great was the additional 2 different salmon dishes they made! We went with our own recipe! How absolutely fantastic is that! Our first meeting with them was less than a month from when we were getting married. So they did 3 tastings in record time. It's not like we were their only customers. They truly want you to love your food. The number one reason we gave them a try was Van told us he could cook our meal so that I could eat everything. I have so many food allergies it's tough to go out to dinner. My two biggest allergies are dairy and soy. They did it!!! I could write on and on about the wonderful experience we had with our caterers @ CVC-City View Catering. We loved them and the food got rave reviews by everyone at the wedding. I highly recommend them.

The moment I met Van I knew we were going to select him as our caterer. He was polite, friendly, fun and you can tell that he has a love for good cuisine. Him and Sharon were so easy to work with...they were flexible, responsive, professional, and the food is absolutely amazing. Such an amazingly smooth and professional experience. Their attention to detail from setup to breakdown to the amount of food and alcohol that is actually needed is outstanding. They made sure we actually got to eat during our cocktail hour and made sure we actually sat and ate at our own wedding. All that aside, the food was amazing!!! Great food for a great price! Van and his wife did such a great job with my wedding I had over 100 people and his staff took great care with all of them! I will be using them again for family functions! & My future baby shower!!
