Working with city connect throughout the process was great. A few weeks prior to our wedding we connected with Sal to review timeline & song requests. He was open to suggestions and even scheduled last minute for get a sax there for our recessional song! -

Great Experience

Dance party!
We decided to use City Connection for my husband’s big milestone birthday bash. Sal was helpful with every phase of the planning stages and connected us with one of their DJs. I have to say how much we enjoyed Tyler as our DJ! He was very excited about our playlists that we had sent along for inspiration and did a great job keeping the dance party going! He was very kind, fun and professional. Everyone loved the music and had a great time. Literally the entire group was on the dance floor for most of the party! I wish we had another party to plan to have him again!! -

The best entertainment company to work with. I've been using City Connection Entertainment for our company events since 2016. They make things happen and knows how to package the talents for your needs. I have not looked elsewhere since then. They're the best! -

Mother of the bride
Sal accommodated all of our request to make our daughter’s wedding a success. The bride and groom wanted a a DJ. The parents wanted a live band.. Sal put it all together where everyone was happy . Great job! Outstanding musicians and DJ! Professional and reliable organization. -

Book Into The Night Immediately!
We first heard Into The Night play at my sister-in-law's wedding in 2018, and we knew immediately we needed to book them! Sal and his team at CCE were responsive and gracious even through a pandemic postponement. The night of our wedding in June 2021, the entire dance floor was packed, and every guest commented on what an amazing band we had! Definitely book them for your wedding! -

Not another DJ - BUT a SPECIAL touch to your venue
DJ's are a dime a dozen.. live music - sets your event apart!!! Having a live band adds a special touch to any venue - remember the experiencing a live performance and feeling the music? SO when you have that "first" dance wouldn't it be wonderful to have the music sang to you? City Connection has all styles of music entertainers and lighting for moods - they have it all. All my guests commented on the enjoyment of having live music instead of the canned DJ - You should check out City Connection - you'll realize that the price is comparable and you get MUCH more. -

Wonderful entertainment!
CCE was just the perfect entertainment for our wedding! We had guests traveling from all over the world and not one of them remained seated! We had so much fun!! It was elegant, romantic and energetic all at the same time!! We are so glad we had them! Their talents' performances exceeded our expectations! -

The band was fantastic last night! Ron was wonderful to work with. He ( and the entire band) went out of their way to accommodate last minute changes and additions. Nadia and Vince rocked the house. City Connection came highly recommended, and they really delivered! Sal Kuenzler was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was extraordinarily friendly, helpful, honest, and carefully walked us through the process to make the evening a hit. Into The Night performed for the entire function, and they were fantastic! Vince, Stephan, Nadia & Co. rocked! Many of our guests have raved that they've never seen better entertainment at a wedding. We'll definitely be using them again. -

The band we selected Into the Night, was awesome. Very professional talent. Kept our guests entertained. The music was very fresh, top 40, they can read the crowd. The dance floor was packed, no one wanted to sit down. Highly recommend City Connection can't go wrong with the talent and manager. Delivery top notch customer service. -

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding such a huge success. As you know, the band was the most important thing to us and you didn’t let us down! We appreciated you taking so much time to really pin point exactly what we wanted. Your ability to adapt, change, and the suggestions you made were all so critical to the final production, which was so perfect.
We had many people who were absolutely blown away by the talent and professionalism of “into the night.” A lot of people said that many of the songs were sung better then some of the original artists. Brandon mentioned this, and he listens to a lot of music. He thought the band was fantastic.
One of the highlights also for us was Tony’s solo at the ceremony. It was so beautiful.
If you are looking for a band for your wedding look no further. They are the real deal and sound incredible! We had people dancing all night and wanted the band to keep the music going all night! to this day we still have people that can't believe how amazing the band was!!

We worked with Sal at City Connection and the band Neon Crush for our wedding this October. Having a live band play the the reception was very important to us, so we spent a good amount of time doing our research. While we felt like we did our due diligence, NOTHING could have prepared us for how amazing Neon Crush was. The quality of the music was phenomenal, their energy was high, they were engaging with the audience - everything was a "10". We couldn't have asked for a more perfect band and performance.
Leading up to the wedding, Sal was very transparent and helpful with all of the critical details that went into the preparation. Sal and the band did a wonderful job of keeping us in the loop with updates, and respecting our wishes with the song list.
We highly recommend working with both Sal and Neon Crush. -

I used this company 12 years ago for my wedding and was beyond happy with their performance. I have been waiting for another perfect event to come along where I could use them again. I was a bit nervous going into this evening wondering if they could live up to my expectations from 12 years ago. I threw a 50th Wedding Anniversary party for my parents last week and I was more than impressed. My parents and their friends have sent me emails and cards thanking me for inviting them to the party because it was the best they've ever attended. A big part of that is due to the music and vibe that the band created. I am now looking for another event in the near future where I can hire this company again. They are more than worth the money!!! -

This band made my wedding day the most wonderful day of my life. They were accommodating, helpful, friendly, professional, but above all the most skilled wedding band I've ever seen. I've been to over 49 weddings in the last three years, so I've seen a band or two l, and none could compare. Sal at City Connections entertainment was ALWAYS available leading up to our wedding to answer any questions we had and he always said they could do it. Wow. They also had my sister come up to do an impromptu song for us, the band joined her, and they sounded like they had practiced for months (they had just met!). Every single thing they did exceeded our expectations. Thank you! Thank you! -

You guys absolutely rocked are world at our wedding. People didn't stop dancing the whole night. We even stayed an extra hour then planned and it was because of the band. Sal and his team are professionals that know the music and entertainment industry inside and out. They were professional, on time, exceptionally talented and a good value. We had a 6 piece band for our daughters wedding. They were fantastic and played songs that my daughter wanted and that we wanted. The band was very responsive to our guests and we had people on the dance floor the whole time they played, which is what we wanted. This was our second time using City Connection and they didn't let us down. Not since our own wedding back in 1977 did we have a band that had the musicianship to play Jazz fusion, hip hop, R&B and rock and roll. The MC was great and managed the whole thing. -

Sal Kuenzler is a personal friend whom I have known for years. He started out as a high school music teacher where he developed an excellent rapport with his students and colleagues. He was known for his hard work, attention to detail, and great sense of humor. We have used Sal's services many times on a professional level and have been delighted with the results. He's integrated the music depending on the event and our personal tastes. He's on top of today's music and is flexible to go where the event requires. Our friends remember our events because of the great job that the talent provides, all at Sal's direction. He is honest and does what he says. If you can get him to work for your event, do it! -

The band "Into the Night" was fantastic! The band successfully got people out of their seats and onto the dance floor with wonderful upbeat music that kept the party going all night. The band interacted with the guests having them sing parts of songs into the microphone and made the crowd excited to be out on the dance floor. Many people at the wedding were asking for their name and said they were fantastic. They kept my party moving and everyone enjoyed them. I would highly recommend this band for any event. -

Still basking in the glow of our daughter's wedding and wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to the good folks at City Connection & Entertainment who booked the band, "Into the Night." They carried the wedding from beginning to end, supplying musicians for the outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour and indoor celebration. The band leader, who also served as the MC, was great at keeping the celebration moving as we'd planned and the entire band was incredible, keeping the energy level and participation high during their dance sets. The company was into the details of our venue and our timeline and it clearly paid off as the band's performance during the party was nothing short of perfection. They can play any style you like and they are pros, sounding great the entire evening. Hiring this company for an event ensures you can relax and will be happier than you could possibly imagine as they represent several different musical options for you to choose from and will shape the entertainment to meet your needs and budget. Most of our friends and family asked about them and many took their business card. Truly are as good as it gets! -

Can we have another party next month? Energy rocked us, yet provided something for everyone. My Grandmother couldn't stay off the dance floor and we found her dancing to Bruno Mars and then to Sinatra. We have to say that from our first phone call with Breena to our last dance with the band, they really listened and genuinely cared. The things you suggested were right on. We can’t thank you enough for making our wedding something we will always remember. -

I booked the wedding string quartet for my wedding/cocktail hour. they were fabulous. it was only for one hour, but i wish I would have booked them longer. they were very lovely. the music played was very enchanting and graceful. especially the Harp. Thanks Sal for helping me get this set up. You really helped me and made it go smooth.

Ya know. i must admit. If it wasnt for Sal and everyone i worked with at City Connection Entertainmen, I couldnt have made my Reception party better. You guys are SUPURB! I mean it. From the very beginning in picking out the songs to the set up and break down before and after the reception., everything went smooth as Peach Pie. the DJ was awesome and funny too! All the songs I wanted were played, transitions went smooth and my first dance song was perfect! a night I’ll never forget. The DJ had us all dancing by the end of the night and everyone had a super fun time. Thank you thank you thank you!!! It was a magical night!!! -

City Connection is a high energy and high quality band...I had the pleasure of working with them on a wedding recently and was blown away by them. They are just top notch. Sal is awesome at working with clients and one of the band leaders was great at communicating with me (wedding planner) during the night to make sure we were on schedule and covered all the important traditions the couple wanted covered. The Band was amazing! They made the wedding a celebration and an incredible party. From the moment they started everyone was up and dancing till the end of the night, the dance floor was packed and guests 6 to 80 were up till the last song... Our friends keep calling us about how incredible they were, even my mother in law liked the music and all of our kids friends (go figure how you do that). If you use City Connection you must listen to Sal and Breena, they guided us and listened to what everyone wanted then said let us plan it... it was GREAT, they also handled a quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour and everything went off like clock work, I can't say enough and WILL use them again. -

Thank you so much for all you did for us. We really were surprised how cool it was to have “NYASQ”. Our parents wanted a string quartet but Sonny and I wanted more of a vibe from today’s music not so much classical. They were the best of both. When I walked down the aisle to “Marry Me” and not the traditional “Here Comes The Bride” I could see the expression on everyone's smiling faces. It was the wow moment. Thanks for the suggestion to have one of your vocalist sing that while the string quartet played.I now do like string quartets.
The band was over the top. My friends keep saying they the best and the energy they brought to the reception. Non stop dancing. I will need some business cards since I am getting so many calls still (3 months after wedding) wanting to know how to find you.
You were worth every penny and more. Thank you Breena for all your help. -

My mom found you on the internet and wanted to use you. I was leaning towards another band but then saw yours. After our first meeting you were the “one’s” for us. A perfect fit we all said. Thanks for helping me with all the details I would have been lost without your experience and expertise. We had so many questions but we never felt rushed and you guys always managed to get back to us right away and answer our questions or concerns. We are still on a high. My grandmother is still talking about her song and dance with her grandson (groom) and you made it so special even knowing she was going to be in a wheelchair. We can’t begin to tell you how pleased we were with everything you and your musicians did for us. From the very first phone through the reception we felt so at ease and confident. The group, Swerve was amazing. What a full sound for just six members. The way they engaged our guests is still being talked about every time we run into someone from that night.

Sal and his team were so generous with the live entertainment that accompanied the DJ during the dinner reception. The extra two singers made such a difference and I really appreciate City Connection going the extra mile to learn new arrangements for the bride and groom's favorite themes from movies that were their # 1 selections for the first dance and Father /Daughter dance.

I'm a wedding coordinator, I work with a lot of bands and I can not say enough good things about my experience with City Connection Entertainment. Sal and Breena were extremely helpful and patient throughout the planning process. Even though we submitted special requests, after the due date, the band still learned the songs and my couple was beyond thrilled.
Sal arranged for a fantastic solo guitarist for the ceremony. The dinner trio was jazzy and fun and the band, Energy, was amazing!!! They were so much fun on and off stage. The MC, Andre, was the best - every time he picked up the mic for the simplest announcements, he commanded the room in such a positive and engaging way.
The whole evening was magical and so much of that had to do with the band. The dance floor was packed all night.
If you're looking for great live music, 100% go with City Connection. Sal will hook you up with the best band for your style and budget. It will be one of the best choices you make during your wedding planning experience. -

Fantastic! My daughter is a preschool teacher and she married the owner of a toy store. Because of these unique professions their wedding had many touches of (to use popular wedding vernacular) "whimsy." My daughter wanted Disney songs for her first dance with her husband and for the Daddy/daughter dance. But because hers was a very formal wedding, I was concerned that recordings of Disney songs would sound really, really cheesy. So we didn't use recordings. Instead we hired City Connection Entertainment! Their singers and musicians turned those songs into the personal, meaningful moments we intended them to be. How amazing to have the immediacy and excitement of live music with the nearly unlimited library of a DJ!
Speaking of DJ's, ours was fabulous! He was very thorough with his preparation and kept the party and the dancing going from beginning to end. He cued every toast, dance and event and the reception flowed flawlessly. I would definitely hire City Connection Entertainment again! -

Of course with any event, communication was key. It is very rare that all parties involved are always on the same page, but City Connection Entertainment was extremely easy to work with and very responsive by both email and phone. The last thing any bride or groom wants to do on their wedding day is worry about band and music issues. With City Connection, we had no such worries. Even when we found out our solo guitar player had come down with an illness the day of, the problem was quickly resolved when the owner, Sal Kuenzler, stepped in to take his place. Both Sal and the band provided amazing performances that kept our guests dancing all night. It truly was the perfect day. -

I don't even know where to start. I can't thank city connections enough for making my wedding day a blast. My guests are still talking about the day almost a month out. Sal Kuenzler and Breena were my contacts through city connections. Sal helped me hire the entertainment I was looking for. Once I decided Breena helps me through the process of everything required up to the day of the wedding. They are both very professional and easy to talk with. I hired a Quartet, a Magician Steve Silverman, and a live band Into The Night. The quartet played requests not on the playlist with out any problem. I hired them for the ceremony and through the cocktail hour. A few of my guest said I wonder if they could play stairway to heaven and the they started to play it the next song sitting nowhere near those guest. By the end of cocktail hour my guest were gathered around the quartet. Steve Silverman was great to make his way around to see most of my 240 guest. My guests are still trying to figure out his tricks and he does it right in front of them. He did a great job entertaining the children and adults. I cannot say enough about Into The Night. They definitely had everyone dancing all night long. They interacted with my guest and came out to the dance floor. They also played a few of our requested songs that were not on the playlist. The MC was great and called a few days before the wedding to make sure the timeline is how I wanted it. City Connections offers a lot of different entertainment and I was amazed by all three vendors they provided. Thank-you for making my wedding day perfect! -

We booked City Connection after hearing them as guests at two weddings. While my daughter and her husband worked with them on specifics, they were extremely professional throughout and, on the evening of the wedding, they were absolutely amazing. We only received compliments on their energy and performance. Finally, they were wonderfully flexible when one of the bridesmaids, a professional singer, asked if she could surprise the wedding couple and sing with the band. It was a huge success and the band was so accommodating. I would and have recommended City Connection to friends. -

Even though the cost of going with a band is MUCH higher than that of a DJ, however, it is definitely worth every single penny. City Connections was professional and provided world class entertainment at my wedding. I was at first hesitatant to spend more money than anticipated on entertainment, but after it was said and done, it was money well spent. The band kept the wedding entertained and the atmosphere was never filled with a dull moment. I would recommend ANYONE to dire City Connections for their wedding or other events. We absolutely loved the bands, both Into the Night and Walk Like a Man. Our guests can't stop talking about how great these performers were. Vince Walker, the lead male vocal for "Into the Night" was AMAZING! His solo for the ceremony brought tears to many of us, including several male friends who normally would not admit to being moved to this extent. -

Everyone raved and raved about the band. The musicians were great and singers top rate. They did all the latest music and everything the couple asked for. Dear Sal, Cindy and Breena,
I can not thank you enough for creating the most magical night for me. Your vision, preparations and execution were all spot on. My "Senior Prom" was the most sensational event. Everyone in town (even those who were not there) is talking about it! So many people have told me it was the best party they had ever attended.
I, not being particularly creative, had only a vague idea of what I wanted for that night. I put my complete trust into City Connection Entertainment to make the prom party a success. What you all created so exceeded my expectations. Everything......the decor, the photo booth, the dj, the dancers, the entertainer.......all were spectacular.

I happened to come across City Connection by accident after researching for months. I either didn't like the recommened vendors by this five star hotel or it was way over our budget. Sal was so responsive, within 30 mins of my inquiry I had an email and a call back which was very important as we only had 6 weeks left ! We met at their home office and got to see all the different kinds of bands that matched our styles. We are so glad we went wih Sals final suggestion , he really knows his stuff and once you tell him what you want he gets it! He also worked wih us on our budget . Breena was so helpful and on top it keeping us on schedule since it gets so hectic in those last couple weeks. Communication is key to Planning a great event and city connection is great wih communication . We got so many compliments on our bands I can't even tell you. Everything was perfect with the ceremony music as well, they came when they said they would and worked with our vocalist. I highly recommend city conncection and trust them Which is he hardest part of booking vendors . -

The band was awesome! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole night. My husband was so happy with the way they performed 'Shout', it was exactly how he wanted it, true to the original. And what made it even more special was that the band picked up on what the guests were singing during the song and they started singing it. It was so much fun! I unfortunately didn't get to meet the band members and I was bummed about that. I have no idea where the time went, etc and how the night got by me without saying hello, goodbye and thank you to them!!! If you are looking for a band or DJ. City Connection Entertainment is the ONLY place one should look. I must have met and spoken to over 10 diffferent bands in the Los Angeles area. We knew we wanted a band but our budget was limited. However Sal and his team had plenty of options and were willing to work with us and show us the many of the different groups that might work within our budget. We ended up going with a 5 piece band called "Into the Night". As our event got closer Sal and Breena were very thorough and made sure all the details of our actual event were covered and there would be no surprises. We even ended up adding two more band members last minute to make it a 7 piece as we knew it would only add to the sound.
To say we were happy with City Connection Enertainment and "Into the Night" is an extreme understatment! They were the BEST vendor we had and they truly made our wedding the one to remember!!! This quote from a friend on facebook sums up our night.
"Such an amazing wedding!!! I haven't danced like that in ages...... Congratulations to you both!"
I highly recommend City Connection Entertainment for any event!

For our cocktail hour we had 3 musicians (bass, flute, guitar). Unfortunately, my husband and I didn't get to hear them at all because we were off taking photos, but everyone said the music was awesome. I know my dad was very pleased with the musicians, and that makes me happy.
Val Martinez was our DJ. He was stellar. Great music selection. He definitely helped keep the flow of our reception upbeat and fun. The dance floor was packed till the very end! Val is a great entertainer. He actually sang three songs (of our choosing) during the dinner/reception. At first I thought that'd be weird (a singing DJ, really?) but it was actually quite enjoyable to have a little live entertainment. Plus, he sang "The Way You Look Tonight" to my 2 year old niece who was struttin her stuff solo on the dance floor- and you can imagine how cute that was! But I digress......
We wanted to take dance lessons for our first dance, and as it turns out, Val does that too! We met with him about 3 or 4 times. He turned our decent first dance into a really cool, memorable first dance.
He is easy to work with, very professional, and definitely the most responsive of all our vendors. -

In the weeks leading up to our wedding, many of our vendors were not getting back to us as quickly as we would've liked but CCE was always right on top of everything. They responded to our calls and emails in a very timely manner (and there were a lot of them), and when we had specific requests outside of the original plans for our wedding, they did everything possible to accommodate.
At the wedding, the band really brought it. Everything was perfect - energetic and exciting, they had everyone up and dancing. -

Absolutely incredible! Of all the vendors I used, City Connection Entertainment was by FAR the best! They were incredibly prompt, went out of their way to make sure all the details of the wedding were correct, even visited the venue beforehand just to make sure all appropriate equipment would be provided! When my father decided to bring in a professional singer for one or two numbers during the reception, City Connection performers were willing to hold rehearsals prior to the wedding. I never had to worry about getting in touch with Sal, Breena, or anyone else whenever I needed something. And, most importantly, the band was INCREDIBLE! Guests danced right through dinner, and stayed until the very last note was played. I'm still getting comments on how amazing our band was!! If you want a guaranteed amazing experience, go with City Connection! -

We already had our DJ, but were looking for some entertainment while we disappeared taking pictures. City Connection had the perfect option. We booked Triple Threat. They are a 3-person doo-wop, hip-hop, gospel, a capella group. Our guests are still talking about them months later! They mingled with the crowd, got people involved, and they sound amazing! I (the groom) even jumped in with them and sang "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." Before they left they sang "My Girl" for the father/daughter dance. It was really nice to have live voices singing for such a special dance instead of our DJ just playing a CD. Triple Threat really treated us nicely and gave our special day another reason to be remembered. -

These musicians do not come cheap, but it's a worthy expense if you want your party to be one people will still be talking about days or weeks later. My 130 wedding guests were blown away by the band's sound, and they did an excellent job working with us and our wedding coordinator to make sure the reception flowed just the way we wanted. Couldn't be happier! -

The band was spectacular. Multiple singers with a big variety of types of music. The band let the BRIDE AND GROOM be the stars and it was very smooth all night. Dancing until the very end. -

City Connection provided us with a live band an DJ. They were completely able to tailor to my very distinctive needs as my guest list was diverse both in age and musical taste. There was enough variety but not too much so it all still went well together.
A lot of energy and coordination went into the band, my only regret was not spending a little more time with the DJ to coordinate his portion. -

I don’t think my husband and I ever properly thanked you for the work you guys did for our wedding! We had met with a few agencies before we heard about you, and we simply weren’t happy with the cheesy wedding bands we kept seeing. We didn’t really know what we wanted, but we knew the kind of music we wanted to hear, and we certainly knew what I wasn’t working!
When our wedding planner, Stacey Stewart, introduced us to Sal it was instantly clear that he had what we wanted! He made recommendations on the type of instrumentation we should have, then played songs for us from each of the players he was going to put together for our special band. The two singers he picked out were perfect, and we knew we had finally found what we were looking for!
We were also very pleased with the selection of songs that the band knew, and their willingness to learn a few special songs for us. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Sal at the event, as it gave me peace of mind to know that he was there overseeing everything!
We got so many compliments about our band, and what a fun party it was! We originally thought we wanted a DJ so we could hear exactly the songs we wanted, performed the way we are used to, but I am so glad we went with the live band! It certainly made the night more fun, more memorable, and all-around perfect!
Thanks so much for your hard work for our event. We’ll definitely keep you in mind for future events!
