It was pleasure working with Sabrina/City BBQ for your wedding day! They were very responsive and supportive in making sure we had everything we needed. Our guest loved the food, many many compliments on best "wedding food ever" So glad we decided to go with BBQ. Everyone loves BBQ, all cultures!! We added on the smoked sausage and pesto pasta, too guest favorites!! Helped us stay within budget as well.City Barbeque's reply:

We had an amazing experience with City Barbeque for our recent wedding. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. Our guests all raved about the food. The communication throughout our wedding planning process was on point and we really enjoyed the cute, little set up they had for us during our initial tasting appointment. My only regret was that I didn't eat more LOL. I would highly recommend them for your wedding or special event!City Barbeque's reply:

They catered our wedding on 10/15/23 and literally every single person who attended and ate RAVED about how delicious it was.
The entire process of ordering, the delivery and setup was amazing! I cannot overstate how much I appreciate them and appreciated their attention to detail.
You have gained a lifetime customer and if it was possible I’d give you more than 5 stars!

Ashley was quick to answer my emails/phone calls and provided all of the info we needed. The caterers showed up on time, were quiet while setting up, very professional, and the food was amazing!!!! They made the whole experience super easy for us while wedding planning. We got several compliments from our guests on the food! I would definitely recommend City BBQ for any wedding catering. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Ashley Ybarra was the catering coordinator and she was so helpful and truly amazing with her communication. If you like BBQ this is the caterer to use.City Barbeque's reply:

We have seen City BBQ Toledo team at other weddings and knew it was the right choice. The staff and their friendly, helpful touch is what helps make this experience. Ashley is great to work with and very communicative. and gives great, informed advice. She wants you to have the best experience possible. The prices are very reasonable compared to other companies. The staff are extremely professional. They even have 1 catering staff that exclusively helps the bride and groom on their night. They package everything to go at the end of the night.City Barbeque's reply:

City BBQ was awesome to work with. Emailing and calling them was super easy. Ashley, the wedding catering coordinator, was so responsive. She always got back to me very quickly and answered all of my questions. The food was amazing, everything I wanted. Cindy and Chase were our caterers day of and were so polite and professional. They got our food for us and walked it back to our table so we didn't have to worry about spilling on ourselves. The entire experience working with City BBQ from start to finish was so simple. We can't say enough GOOD about our experience with City BBQ. From our interactions with the coordinator (Ashley) to the servers (Kristy, Jacquelyn, and Scott) to the reception meal itself-- everything was PERFECT. We recently (7/24/21) used City BBQ for our wedding at my parent's home after eating at another wedding who used them. To say we were happy with the service would be an understatement! The food was more than perfect! Everything tasted amazing, and our guests raved about the food. Communicating with Ashley was such a breath of fresh air during the COVID pandemic and through a year of wedding planning. She was always on top of any questions I may have, changing things around, and never seemed annoyed now matter how many questions I asked. I would highly recommend using City BBQ for any event, big or small!City Barbeque's reply:

The staff and set up was incredibly professional, the food was kept hot and everything was super yummy. The staff even helped my husband and I get our food! We were incredibly happy with our decision to have bbq and I think our guests were too! -

We were so fortunate to have City BBQ cater our wedding. They hold a special place in our hearts as my husband asked my parents for permission there and they provided our first meal in our new home. Our guests throughly enjoyed the food they provided. Although the food was a self-serve, double sided buffet, City BBQ bussed all the tables as long as the dinnerware was disposable which was really helpful!City Barbeque's reply:

Jeanette Sent on 08/05/2015For our wedding, we wanted it to feel more like a casual party than a formal event so we went with City BBQ for our catering...one of the best decisions we made! It was extremely easy to place the order with the catering manager and we had the flexibility to make changes up to 48 hours in advance. We went with just the delivery service since our venue already had servers available. They showed up on time with everything we needed and made sure everything was set up correctly before heading out. We had pulled chicken, pulled pork, baked beans, mac and cheese, and garden salad, and it came with buns, sauces, serving utensils, plates, silverware, and chaffing dishes all included. Our guests LOVED the food and we spent way less than we would have had we gone with something "fancier" but less tasty :)
Only complaint is that the catering office and the restaurant that delivered the food did not communicate with each other effectively. I had already provided my credit card number to the catering manager, but the delivery guy didn't know so when he made the delivery he wouldn't leave until my husband gave his credit card number again. Luckily when I contacted them the next day they were already aware of what had happened and assured me that we weren't going to get double charged for our dinner. Other than that, it was perfect! -

We got a lot of compliments on the food from our wedding guests! We did a tasting prior to our wedding which I highly recommend. Everything was good but the peach cobbler was AMAZING! Ashley was very helpful to us as well!City Barbeque's reply:
