City BBQ is the BEST bbq catering around!!
We couldn’t be more happy that we chose City BBQ for our catering! Abbey and her team made us feel so special from our first tasting!! We were expecting a “taste” of food and instead enjoyed a whole feast of every item they served and had enough to bring leftovers home! Abbey was always phenomenal with communication even reminding me when I forgot to fill out forms (type B bride here for sure 😭). We got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS on our food! Everyone was served quickly at dinner service and there was more than enough to feed our large families and even had some leftovers! We ended up using city BBQ lemonade for our signature drink-vodka lemonades- and our guests LOVED it! I cannot recommend City BBQ enough!! ❤️❤️

We absolutely loved the food at our wedding and so did our guests!! We had chicken, brisket, and pulled pork and Mac n cheese and baked beans! We added on the lemonade stand and this was a big hit for our non drinking guests

Couldn't be Happier!!
We couldn't have been more happier with the service to the food. Abbey was unbelievable to work with for our day. Her response time was on point and the touch to details and last minute changes made our food planning stress free. We had multiple guests that have never had City BBQ before that are now customers for life. Also, the portions of meats and sides per guest was for sure more than others caterers. 100% happy!

The staff did amazing. Everyone was so polite and sweet. The food was 11/10!!! We love city bbq and are so happy you were able to cater for us. And the potatoes and the pickles were to die for.

Perfection
Everything was absolutely perfect on one of the most important days of our lives. It was relieving to not ever have to worry about any part the catering. This was our first time ever using City BBQ as catering and honestly I feel like it was best choice we made. The planning staff was very friendly and had extremely helpful communication. Everything was exactly how it was described and I believe the value is absolutely worth every penny spent. The brisket and pulled pork was cooked to perfection and the sauces were amazing. We added a smashed potatoes and Mac n cheese bar with all the toppings you could ever want for them. The quality was to notch all around and our on site caterer was extremely caring, knowledgeable, friendly, organized and efficient. She packed up all our leftovers and left them easily accessible. She also was very communicative throughout the process. All around fantastic experience.

Amazing Service
City Bbq made our experience with them so amazing. We booked the event with Abby, and she made sure to answer all of our questions that we had leading up to the event. Our caterers for the event were Brenda and Mike made sure there was enough food for everyone to eat and made sure once everyone went through the line that they called for seconds. They were also super nice and answered questions that I had about leftovers

Best catering experience on my wedding
Abbey and her team made this catering experience so smooth and wonderful. I have always loved city bbq but after my wedding I do even more. I live in New York currently but had my wedding in Ohio. Abbey made it so easy planning my out of state wedding. At the tasting I had car problems ans was a little late as a result, but she was so kind and made us feel so special when I arrived. City BBQ was truly some of the best catering I’ve ever had at an event. The caterers that night were Sheri and Henry. They were so kind and the food they served was incredible. I’ve been to a lot of events for work where food is catered but this is truly the best I’ve had. I had guests from all over the country and some even from Italy. All the guests keep complementing how good the food was. Definitely book with City Bbq for all your catering needs. You will love it. 😄Thanks Abbey, Sheri and Henry.

City BBQ made our wedding dinner wonderful
City BBQ was recommended by our venue. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable at all levels, from the catering coordinator to the restaurant representative who facilitated our initial tasting to the on-site representatives who handled the food at the reception. Amidst the chaos of planning, we really appreciated how organized and responsive the City BBQ team was with our questions and requests. Our guests said that the food was delicious. We were also glad that they chose the perfect quantity of everything to satisfy our guests without leaving heaps of leftovers. Additionally, the relaxed nature of the dinner really suited our wedding day vibe. We definitely recommend them to cater your special day.

Highly Recommend!
We hired City Barbeque for our daughter's wedding. It was a very solid decision! Our venue was at a barn and the ceremony was held just outside of the barn. I was concerned about distraction when the staff was setting up. This was not an issue at all! I kept hearing from guests they this was some of the best wedding food they ever had, as most said they didn't care for "traditional wedding food". Everything was excellent! Would highly recommend!

I used City BBQ Catering for my wedding of 175 guests. The food was amazing and I received many compliments from my guests.
Additionally, City BBQ catering was easy to work with. They were super helpful and patient when answering any of my questions and providing me details about their services.
We worked and communicated with Abbey Mohr. She was wonderful. So friendly, professional, quick to reply, and flexible.
I highly recommend City BBQ as an option for wedding catering. It is so affordable and delicious!

We had a top-notch experience with City BBQ for our wedding caterer, so much so that they completely stood out from all the other catering options we tried and they were much more affordable. Full Service Catering Was Awesome!
City BBQ wedding catering did such an amazing job for us! We have gotten numerous compliments from our guests on the food, and the way everything was setup! Everything from the apps, to the lemonade stand, and the main dinner was perfect, and we cannot thank Kimberly Arnold and her team enough! If you want something other than the same old boring wedding buffet, City BBQ is a fantastic alternative, that will go above and beyond to make sure the food is awesome, and your catering experience is great! City bbq was amazing to work with for our daughter’s wedding. Excellent customer service. The food was great and economical. It was perfect!
It was everything we could have asked for. Abbey was our contact person prior to the event. She set us up with a tasting, was very clear with the pricing, and could make adjustments when I fell hard for the peach cobbler - she added it to our order when it was never originally planned. She was sure the check in prior to the big day and made sure that everyone had what they needed. The day of service set up went flawlessly! Sheri, Hugh, and Anthony were great at making sure the food was exactly what we ordered and were both friendly and approachable. It was perfect!

BBQ is perfect for your wedding
I can not stand typical wedding food. I wanted something different but wanted to keep the classy elegant feel of the wedding. Who knew BBQ could be served so PRETTY. Everything from our initial tasting with Abbey to our wedding day service was above our expectations. I had guests who texted and said they wanted to sneak a plate of food on to the plane ride home from the wedding. We had plenty of food for 2nd's and some had 3rds and then we had leftovers to take home! So if you want to skip the boring chicken and green bean almondine for your wedding dinner and get something you and your guests will RAVE about. Go with City BBQ

Kind, efficient, patient and accountable
One of our biggest compliments of the night from our guests was the food! Everyone loved it and so did we. BBQ wasn’t something my wife and I considered for the wedding but our venue held a wedding expo and that is where we met Abbey. Abbey and her team were great to work with! We appreciated the advice she offered when it came to serving sizes and popular/unpopular dishes. Pleasantly surprised with the vegetarian and GF options they offered. We did 2 tastings with them and it was a fun experience for my wife and our 2 daughters!

Wonderful experience!
The guests are still raving about the food from City BBQ! The staff were extremely helpful and they did a wonderful job setting up a beautiful buffet. They even made my husband and I a late night snack box that we could eat when we got home after the wedding! 10/10 recommend having them cater for you!

We loved that the food was made to perfection and the girls were absolutely wonderful and helpful. They offered to help bring food back to seats for people who needed it and never let the buffet run out. They also left amazing honeymoon boxes for us. Prompt, Professional, and Delicious!
City BBQ catered our rehearsal dinner for 40 people. The planning process was easy and they were so flexible with my various requests! The food was delicious. We had one caterer for the evening, Kyle- He was thorough in set-up and clean-up, very kind, and his personality won our family over! They arrived a little late, but had left ample time so set-up so it didn't affect our timing at all. 5/5 would recommend!

Such a wonderful experience for a wedding!
City bbq was perfect on our wedding day. They arrived on time, set up, made sure everything stayed full, did light clean up at the tables, prepared everything for us to go home with leftovers. They even dished out myself, the bride’s, plate so I wouldn’t spill anything on my dress. At the end of the night, we found out they left little to go boxes with a side of everything we had that night to eat in case we were hungry when we got home. I would recommend them for catering any event.

Delicious Food at a Good Price
We did the whole hog, brisket, and pulled chicken with the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. We had more than enough food for everyone to get seconds plus leftovers! Everything was prepared well and tasted delicious. Not too casual but not too fancy either for our outdoor wedding

My wife and I had the privilege of hiring City Barbeque to cater our wedding and honestly, we wish we could hire them to cater every single meal of our married life. City Barbeque provided fair prices and quick communication. They helped us with all of our catering needs and were flexible with our ever changing menu.
We absolutely loved the Pulled Pork and Mac N Cheese and have tried to replicate the amazing Pulled Pork but nothing will ever compare to City Barbeque’s. Everything about city BBQ was wonderful. It was an amazing value and people told us all night and into the next day that it was the best wedding reception food they had ever had. Our caterers were so friendly and took care of anything from start to finish, we barely noticed they were even there. The Perfect BBQ Meal for Your Wedding!
City BBQ did an AMAZING job with their catering service and food! Lorie and Alyssa V did great with setting everything up quickly and efficiently; from appetizers for cocktail hour to a whole buffet spread for dinner. We received sooo many compliments on the food - especially the beef brisket! We even had a decent amount leftover to take home and enjoy for a few days after. Abbey was also great with communication and responsiveness with any questions I had. She was a pleasure to work with from planning our taste testing to the execution for our big day. Seamless Experience and Delicious Food
We did a completely DIY wedding in our back yard. Though the one thing we didn’t do ourselves was the food, and I’m so happy we didn’t and that we went with City BBQ. I didn’t want the vibe of a backyard BBQ because I wanted it to be a touch more elegant and City BBQ delivered. We got Brisket, grilled chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes and our guests loved every bit of it and so did we. There was enough food for seconds and no one left hungry.
We were able to do a partial full service where they came and set it up and one person served the meats while the rest was buffet. This worked out perfect for us and took one more thing off of our todo list. I very highly recommend!

City catered our recent 10.09.21 wedding and oh my gosh was it a HIT! Everyone raved about the food all night long, it was a fabulous choice to go with them to cater our big day. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!!

City BBQ was incredible!!!
We used City BBQ for our wedding on September 18th, 2021. Abbey was exceptional throughout the entire process of planning the amount of food and easily making changes to our menu. Payment was simple and every aspect was incredibly organized. TJ was our on-site person for the day of the wedding. There were 3 people from City BBQ for a 175 person wedding and it was like there were 15 people working! The three were so fast, helpful and made our wedding that much better. All our guests loved the food and we had some leftovers to give out at the end of the night. I would HIGHLY recommend City BBQ for anyone considering BBQ for any event.

City BBQ provided easy scheduling, outstanding service, and phenomenal food for an outdoor Day After The Wedding party for 125. Props to the wonderful staff! Highly recommend.

We didn't want traditional bland wedding food for our wedding, and City BBQ was an excellent choice. The guests loved the taste and selection while I remained very impressed with the professionalism, service and presentation for the buffet. Definitely recommend if you want your guests to enjoy the food selection and still maintain a polished and high quality service while also on a budget

I will forever recommend this catering company! FROM GO, it was absolute an easy, awesome, and satisfying experience. We used the Fairlawn location and worked with Abbey. She set up the most amazing tasting my husband and I had ever had. She had all the meats, sides and desserts ready to go. I even got a side of fries! She was super patient too. She had no issue with creating however many invoices I requested. The day of our wedding, it as a hit. Our guests are still talking about it. We also had left over meats and froze them. And have been able to have leftovers continuously. I highly recommend the pulled pork, beef brisket and the baked beans

We had a great experience working with City Barbeque for our outdoor wedding! They were so responsive throughout the entire process.
