10/10 would recommend Rich Ciro for your wedding. He's a great communicator, takes direction well and makes even the most camera-shy feel comfortable. My husband and I were supposed to do a first look at our venue and I showed up 45 minutes late due to traffic. Rich didn't even blink when it came to rearranging the schedule to accommodate couple photos and family photos. Received all 1300 photos 6 weeks later and they capture just how magical the day felt. -

Rich was an incredible wedding photographer and we cannot recommend him highly enough! We had the pleasure of working with Rich for our engagement shoot and then again during our wedding. Both he and his collaborator Greg were amazingly professional, kind, and talented. Rich helped us plan out the timetable for our wedding day and made sure that we got every shot that we had dreamed of (and many more!). Rich helped direct us when we weren’t sure how/whether to pose, and he made sure to get a wide variety of candid and portrait shots. He and Greg moved quickly and efficiently so that we could get beautiful pictures and also have time to enjoy our wedding. Many of our guests told us how friendly both photographers were, and also how they were amazed at how Rich and Greg were able to capture every special moment without drawing attention. After the wedding, we were so impressed at how quickly and beautifully he edited ~4,000 photos. We absolutely love our wedding photos and we couldn’t be happier with our experience using Ciro Photography! -

I am absolutely thrilled to share our wonderful experience working with Rich, our wedding photographer. From the moment we saw our engagement photos, we knew we had to hire him for our big day. Rich captured our vision so perfectly with bright, beautiful colors and candid shots that truly reflected our personalities. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Rich was incredibly reassuring. He took the time to review the timeline of the day, discuss the combinations of family, bridal party, and individual formal shots with us. On the day of when our bus was delayed coming back to the venue, which cut into our photo time, Rich knew exactly how to adjust our timeline to make everything work smoothly. I mentioned that I didn't want to miss a moment of my cocktail hour, and he obliged, ensuring we were efficient and got all the shots we wanted. Rich worked seamlessly with his assistant Greg and my videographer. Not only is Rich immensely talented, but he is also kind, gentle, and an absolute pleasure to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day. Thank you, Rich! -

Using Rich was one of the best wedding decisions we made. We really liked his style and ended up feeling very comfortable with him during our first phone conversation so we decided to go with him. From the very initial calls, to the engagement shoot and eventually to the wedding, Rich was super thorough, helpful, encouraging and informative. He was able to be so helpful and guided us while also perfectly incorporating our preferences and discussions. When the wedding day came, he was so calm and really relived us of any anxiety and stress and he led us and our party through the day. He made everyone feel so comfortable and it really showed in the shots. The second photographer he brought, Greg, was also just the best and made us all feel so comfortable throughout the day. We thank you so much Rich for all you did for us and for making this whole experience super positive!
The final pictures came out better than we could have ever expected and encourage anyone considering using Ciro photography to do so, you really won’t regret it. -

Incredible Experience!
When my husband and I started looking for a photographer for our wedding, we determined early on that we wanted someone who was professional, down-to-earth, easy to work with, and great at what they do. We also specifically wanted timeless, effortless, and natural photos. After speaking to about 5+ photographers and not feeling like we found our match, we came across Rich’s work. We immediately fell in love with his photojournalistic approach, his timeless work, and the way in which he captured the raw, authentic, and genuine parts of a wedding day. After our first conversation with Rich, it was clear that we found the photographer we were hoping to find!
Rich is not only incredible at what he does behind the camera, but he is also a wonderful person to the core. It was clear that Rich genuinely cares about his couples and wants to do everything he can to make them feel beautiful, comfortable, and happy. Communicating with Rich was easy and stress free. He responded to each email with enthusiasm and professionalism. He never made me feel like I was a bother or that I was asking too many questions, which meant so much to me as a bride. He helped us plan everything from our wedding day to our engagement shoot, offered his opinions on locations, and followed up with us the week leading up to our engagement shoot it as the weather was not looking great! Rich greeted us with a big smile, and made us feel comfortable immediately. It was as if we were catching up with a lifelong friend even though we had just met. I’ll never forget driving away from our engagement shoot and saying to my husband, “I am so grateful that we have Rich as our photographer!”. He made the experience fun and effortless, which only made us more confident in our decision to have him as our wedding photographer.
About a month leading up to our wedding, Rich communicated with us often and scheduled phone calls with us so that we could go over the flow of the day. This saved us a great deal of time and stress the day of the wedding, and allowed him to do what he does, which is capture the organic, raw, beautiful moments. Rich took the time to ask us which shots we wanted specifically, and he was sure to capture them. He and Greg both brought such a sense of calm the day of our wedding which was so appreciated. They reassured us that everything was going well, and directed us in a way that made it feel natural. They captured all of the moments we wanted, but never made us feel like we were following a script or “plan”. My husband and I could not believe how beautifully they captured our wedding day!
If you are looking for a photographer that is talented, kind, supportive, and professional, you need to schedule a call with Rich. I will cherish the photos he and Greg captured on our wedding day for the rest of my life. My husband and I knew we wanted photos that were raw and authentic, and that is exactly what we got. To say we are thrilled with Ciro Photography would be an understatement! We wish we could do it all again, and find ourselves reliving the day through the photos Rich captured at least once a week! Rich, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your beautiful work. We are so grateful for you and Greg, and will cherish our photos forever. Rich is the best!! We are absolutely stunned by how beautiful our wedding photos turned out. He made us feel very comfortable and at ease on our big day. and made sure we got all the photos we wanted while also being efficient! Rich even stuck around past his scheduled departure time to make sure we got one of the group photos we had asked for. We did engagement photos with Rich as well and really appreciated having a chance to meet in person ahead of the event - those also turned out beautifull! I knew I was hiring Rich about 10 years ago after I saw how beautiful my best friend and her husband's photos were. Then a few years after that my other friends hired Rich for their wedding and I was still so impressed. Rich is a creative visionary. His photos capture emotion and beauty perfectly. He worked over 12 hours to make sure he captured every special moment of our wedding. He has such a calm demeanor, positive energy and you don't even know he's in the room. We are beyond thrilled with our decision to hire Rich and Ciro Photography to capture our wedding day. Our pictures tell a story of one of the best days of our lives and we are so grateful for this amazing human that is Rich Ciro. -

Highly recommend
Rich was amazing to work with! He is the nicest guy with such a calming demeanor who also happens to be very talented. We spoke on the phone a few times leading up to the wedding and he was open to hearing any of the ideas that we had on what we did and did not want for our photos. As the wedding neared he helped in creating our day of timeline. On our wedding day he showed up on time and even worked ahead of schedule to get the "getting ready" photos done early so that we could get some extra time at the venue for additional photos. During the ceremony and reception he was never in the way or even really noticeable.
We would highly recommend for anyone to work with Rich for their wedding photography. -

first, I can’t start my review without mentioning what an amazing human being Rich is. His professionalism aside, a month after my wedding, my father in law unfortunatley passed away. I reached out to Rich to see if he could send me one picture from the wedding we could display at the funeral. We got in touch around 2pm, he asked me to send a picture of my father in law, and by 7 pm I had a file in my email of every picture he had of him at our wedding. It brought the only moment of happiness in such a dark time for my family.
That aside, the important thing I wanted in my photographer was to get pictures that represented the memory in an authentic non staged way. And that’s exactly what I got with rich. We first met for our engagement pictures, and I was nervous going in, but he immediately put us at ease. He guided but never staged so the pictures we got were beautiful but natural. Leading up To my wedding he was so helpful in creating a timeline and keeping everything on track. Because it’s life, things got pushed off our schedule but either way, we just rolled w the punches. My wedding pictures are so unbelievably stunning, and the greatest part is you never knew he was there. I was nervous waiting for pictures thinking I didn’t have any with the people important to me, but when I got them back, I was so pleasantly surprised that I had everything I wanted. But Rich’s style is just so non invasive I didn’t remember him being there. Even in my video, there’s not one shot with a photographer in it yet I have everything I needed. Can’t recomend him enough. -

As a photographer myself, finding another photographer that we could trust was my top priority especially as we were planning our wedding remotely and wouldn’t get to meet our photographer until the wedding day. I can tell you that we got more than we could have hoped for with Rich. It’s easy to see how beautiful his photos are so instead I’ll speak to our experience of working with him. Rich took the time to really understand our vision and it was a relief to hear his confidence that he could capture it and not simply capture photos “by the numbers”. Leading up to our day he remained organized and kept in touch to confirm timelines, must have photos and inquired about the little details like our family dynamics that made the day run smoother. During the wedding, we barely noticed he was there capturing away until it was time for our portraits and he had the foresight to grab us for additional sunset portraits at just the right time. If your concerned with awkward posing, you have no need to worry since he just directed us to interact naturally together and his clear excitement for the photos he was capturing made it an easy and comfortable experience. It felt more like spending a private moment with my new wife than a photoshoot. Lastly, I was impressed with the 2nd shooter Rich hired since his shots fit seamlessly in with the rest of our photos. It’s not easy to find a second photographer that can keep up with the style and quality of your work but he ensured that every photo we received from either of them exceeded our expectations. Laura Sent on 09/26/2018It was my dream to have Ciro Photography photograph my wedding from the first time I saw his work, and I am so thrilled my dream came true!
Rich & his team were so amazing, they made the whole day fun and easy, and now we have the most incredible photos to look back and reminisce. I pull up our online gallery several times a week and waves of happiness wash over me each time.
One of the biggest causes of anxiety for my husband was the thought of having to pose for pictures for hours and hours, but with Rich, we never "posed" - we kissed, and laughed, and enjoyed our first-look in a park on a beautiful fall day and Rich captured our love and excitement in the most natural, stress-free way we could have ever asked for!
I cannot thank Ciro Photography enough for the amazing job they did, the beautiful pictures I will have forever, and the fond memories we created on October 27, 2017! -

I had no problems asking for certain things I wanted and though he’d never even done a Connecticut wedding before he did a fantastic job of picking out good spots and lighting for photos. And extremely efficient- originally concerned about timing and traveling for photos, but he achieved our goal in ample time!! His service was on the pricier half for most Connecticut photographers, but completely worth it!! Our photos were stunning, we got so many compliments about the unique and beautiful quality of them!! Fantastic experience to work with!

We talked with Rich on the phone prior to the wedding but met for the first time on our big day. We are not the most comfortable in front of the camera but he made us feel so comfortable and captured so many incredible moments and details of our wedding. While getting ready and taking photos before the ceremony Rich kept us calm and laughing the whole time. He is a true artist and knew the perfect moments to capture, angles, and lighting for all of our photos. His pictures (not just my wedding pictures) are the most beautiful I have ever seen! He is very professional, responsive, and easy to talk to. He is also open to anything and very enthusiastic about your input on your wedding day. Rich provided a very relaxed and calm presence during both our engagement session and wedding. We did have to wait a few months until we received our pictures, but Rich edits each and every picture and gives you access to all of them, so it was well worth the wait. We are very happy with our pictures! -
