Highly Recommend Tim!!!!

Tim was fantastic! I think a DJ can make or break a wedding, and Tim definitely MADE ours. He was amazing to work with. I loved how he had a portal for the wedding to go into and select songs and organize our timeline. Our wedding flowed perfectly because of Tim! He was easy to work with and communicated flawlessly. Our guest were able to request songs which was so much fun! His equipment,microphones, and lighting were top notch. His set up was beautiful and looked very professional. A few songs I selected DJ Choice, and his music flowed with everything else we had selected. I highly recommend Tim/ Circle City Sound!!

Would hire Tim again in a heartbeat!!

Tim was an amazing DJ!! He did a great job facilitating the evening, paying attention to detail, but also being flexible when something unexpectedly changed. A couple weeks prior to the wedding, Tim and I set up a time to talk over the phone and went over all the details for the evening. I really appreciated how professional and organized he was, it made me feel like I had one less thing to worry about as the bride! I also loved how before he introduced our wedding party he made sure he pronounced their names correctly, again very professional. He took all of our song requests and was able to create a good blend of songs that encouraged a lot of participation throughout the night. Tim was very good at reading the audience and playing songs that would get people of all ages out on the floor dancing. He did such a fantastic job with transitions and the fluidity of the night. I had SO many compliments on how much fun our reception was and we give Tim lot of credit for creating such a energetic, comfortable, fun, and memorable evening for everyone! I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in a DJ!!

Highly Recommended!

Tim did an amazing job! Leading up to the event, Tim was very communicative and quickly answered any questions that we had. He walked us through the planning process and made sure no small detail was missed for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The day of, Tim was timely, professional, and exceeded any and all expectations we had. All of our requests were fulfilled and we received many compliments from our guests. In addition to playing great music, Tim kept us on schedule with clear announcements throughout the event. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ/emcee experience! I highly recommend using Circle City Sound for your event.

Excellent wedding dj

WOW! Tim Glesing did an amazing job as our wedding DJ. He made sure to announce everybody's name correctly at introductions from the start and briefed the wedding party before entering. He kept the party rockin' all night and made sure nobody left the dance floor. You could definitely tell that he loves what he does and he's good at it, too. We highly recommend Tim for any event that requires music, dancing, and fun!

Highly recommend for a perfect reception!

Tim was prompt to respond to the initial inquiry, he was very organized, and he was super easy to work with. He played just the right songs at the right time. Our small crowd of 60 was dancing all night, and several guests commented on how perfect the music was. He was very professional and polite. He made our reception a fun night to remember. I highly recommend Tim at Circle City Sound!!

Tim is amazing!

Tim Glesing at Circle City Sound was such a pleasant and professional DJ to work with for our big day! Our wedding was on August 10, 2019 and I couldn't have imagined a better person to be the emcee and have responsibility for dictating the "life of the party." He was really easy to work with and flexible on taking phone calls or making sure all the details were taken care of. He has an online tool that makes planning easy and it really helps take all the guesswork out of all the little details that are required for music and sound planning for both the ceremony and reception. Tim was very punctual on the timeline for our day of and made sure the keep us moving along, the flow seemed effortless. Tim was very cognizant of keeping us in the loop of all the things he was doing day of and making sure that's exactly what we wanted. I can't thank him enough for keeping everyone on the dancefloor all night. My husband and I are still getting so many compliments on how fun our wedding was and we owe a huge part of that to Tim. He even said on a planning meeting with him that his main goal is "to keep people on the dancefloor and at the wedding reception for as long as possible." We never had to worry about Tim being too cheesy or not playing music we liked. He did a great job of reading the crowd and playing music everyone would love. I would not hesitate to fully recommend Tim for any DJ services you may need. Thanks so much Time, Carl and I appreciate the amazing work you do!

Excellent DJ

We were very happy with choosing Tim for our June 2019 wedding! My husband and I are both from out-of-state so we mostly had to rely on reviews when researching wedding vendors. We were very nervous about choosing a DJ as we both felt a good DJ was important to a memorable reception. I spoke to Tim on the phone prior to booking and he was very professional and accommodating to some of the ideas we had. We were able to fill in many of the specific details online ahead of time for our big day and met with him a few weeks before to make sure everything was correct and go over the day of plan. He respected our Do Not Play list and was also open to requests from our guests. The dance floor was full all night and Tim did a great job of reading the crowd and playing songs to keep the party going! Tim did an excellent job delivering the opening lines for our sports themed bridal party intros we had written ahead of time for him and made sure he had the pronunciation right for everyone’s names. You can tell that Tim takes pride in his work and he was able to keep the evening flowing smoothly without us having to worry about a thing. We felt his price was fair and a great value for the service he provided. Highly recommend this vendor!

This review is a long time coming since we were married in July of 2017, but our first year anniversary has my husband and I reminiscing about our wedding and how Tim truly deserves some praise. Of all of our vendors, we both agree that Tim was the most crucial to the success of our big day. I think I underestimated just how important it was having someone help guide the direction of the day, as we had no wedding planner, but that's where Tim really shined. In addition to meeting with us prior to the wedding, and additional email contact, he checked with us frequently throughout the ceremony and reception and was really the one who stepped in to set the pace and make sure we stayed on track. He has a very calming demeanor and handled any "issues" we had with ease. He was professional and prompt and we would absolutely recommend him for any wedding. Thank you for making our day so special Tim!!

We hired Tim to DJ our wedding on April 22, 2017, and we definitely made the right choice!
Tim was always on time, organized, friendly, and gave off a very good vibe from the beginning.
While other DJs we interviewed seemed capable, they didn’t seem like they would offer the same type of professionalism, class, and/or overall experience that we knew Tim would deliver.
After we contracted with Tim, he gave us access to his website to begin creating our schedule, provide names of key wedding party members, and to pick out the songs and details for the different parts of the ceremony and reception. His music database was massive! The client website offers entry of many different data points, and the attention to detail was really appreciated!
Tim managed the ceremony and reception on schedule, kept the energy up, and maintained a great flow of music throughout the night! We picked many songs we wanted him to play, but then gave him free reign to play music he knew the crowd would like based on his experience. At no point did we feel Tim’s DJing was over-the-top or obnoxious, and we never felt like we were unsatisfied.
Tim continued to check to make sure we were happy. The reception party flew by because everything was going so smoothly, and we were all having so much fun!
Not only was Tim able to provide top quality talent, he was also able to provide high quality equipment. He was able to bring in all of his own high-quality gear that produced great sound and lighting, including floor lights / up-lights, to create an awesome visual experience.
As stated before, Tim’s delivery of class, professionalism, and overall experience was exactly what we were looking for on the biggest day of our lives. He was the perfect choice to help enhance the event of our lifetime. Overall, I would highly recommend Tim Glesing and Circle City Sound for any event!

Tim was very helpful throughout the entire planning process, provided an easy-to-use web portal to assist with planning songs, and delivered on the big day with a great DJ performance that had everyone up and dancing. My wife and I are pretty low key people hoping to avoid a "cheesy" DJ, and Tim did a great job, managing the flow of the evening and ensuring everyone had a good time. Highly recommended!

Tim did an amazing job and made my life so easy as a bride. Meeting with him was super helpful and never overwhelming - he offered feedback if he didn't think a song would work well but left the choice entirely up to me. The software for picking your favorite songs and setting up a timeline was very easy, too. Tim was engaging and fun without being cheesy in any way, and he read the dance floor so well. I've had so many comments from my guests that they've never seen so many people dancing at a wedding before - and that was all thanks to Tim!

Working with Tim was so easy and one of our best decisions! His professional yet relaxed demeanor really calmed my nerves throughout the wedding planning process. After our initial phone call I felt as though the dj was checked off my todo list. His wedding planning website is easy to use and the top 100 suggestion pages for different categories really helped me pick the songs I wanted to be played without having to remember them. Tim is highly capable and highly respected by the wedding planners at my venue the Milltop in Noblesville. My favorite part of working with him was that he watched me during the first dances and when i was ready to cut them short he knew immediately by me giving him a look. I was so grateful since I was nervous and didn’t want to be dancing for the whole 5 min both times. Also we used his uplighting and it made our reception absolutely beautiful!

Tim did a wonderful job DJing for our wedding at the Omni Severin over Labor Day weekend, and I highly recommend him! We don't live in the Indy area anymore, so we were planning most things for our Indianapolis wedding remotely. Tim went out of his way to accommodate our remote planning and made himself available for phone calls whenever we needed to talk through schedule/plans/etc. The few weekends we were in town to knock out planning prior to the wedding, Tim made himself available to meet with us and talk us through his DJing style and what to expect.

He was familiar with the venue, which made it easy on us since we didn't have to coordinate setup or anything.

Tim has a great emcee voice for introducing the wedding party, parents, ushers, and was perfect with keeping a balance between keeping an up-beat attitude and demeanor without overpowering the celebration at the reception.

Tim accommodated A LOT of requests we made for specific songs and the timeline for the night. We told Tim specifically that we didn't want any super cliche wedding reception songs, and he was able to keep the dance floor completely full for the entire night. Everyone after the reception, from young kids to our grandparents, were raving about how much they enjoyed the song selection.

Finally, we got all this for a super affordable price! You can't beat the value for the price. Thanks Tim!

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Tim and would definitely recommend him. He was very responsive throughout the whole process, accommodating to any requests we had, 100% professional, fair on pricing, and played a great variety of music at our reception. We received numerous compliments from our guests of all ages about the playlist. One thing to note that I greatly appreciated, was his attention to detail, thoroughness, and utmost professionalism. You can really tell he takes pride in what he does, cares that his clients are happy, and has the experience to guide you through the process to ensure you've covered all of your bases.

While we're from Indiana, we currently live out of state and had to travel in for the wedding. This didn't interfere with the planning process beforehand with Tim at all. He was perfectly fine with email correspondence and made sure to provide me with timely responses. He also spent 2 hours on the phone with me to finish up all of the final details in the final week before the wedding.

We also had him take care of the music at our ceremony. He and I worked together on the song timing I wanted. While I had a good idea in my mind of exactly what songs I wanted played during the ceremony, his playlist was a huge help in figuring out the rest. He did a fantastic job and absolutely nailed the timing!

Lastly, I'd say the most memorable thing from working with Tim was what he helped me do at the reception. I had mentioned to him when we were finalizing the details of the day, that I wanted to play a favorite song of my husband's aunt, who is special needs. He helped me come up with a surprise plan of how to carry out a very special dedication to her. We all got to dance with her to the song. The moment was incredibly touching, emotional, and meant so much to her and my husband's family. I will forever be grateful to Tim for assisting with that moment.

We loved working with Tim for our wedding back in August, and we would highly recommend! We were planning the wedding from out of town, so his website made it super easy to pick songs and organize all the details of the reception without being there in person. Also, during our phone consultation, we requested a different song be played for each bridesmaids/groomsman couple during their entrance. He was able to blend the songs seamlessly, and he helped us make the event run so smoothly. He played our requests and added some of his own choices. He had our guests dancing the whole night! It was perfect!!

We used Tim for our wedding on October 28, 2017 at the Mill Top Banquet Center, and I would highly recommend him. Tim met with us while discussing our options for a DJ, and was very prepared for the meeting. He has a user friendly website that allowed us to add songs to a must play list, a play if time option, and songs that we absolutely did not want played. He also has a planner form that you can update over time to map out every last detail of your reception. Leading up to the wedding, he scheduled a phone call to review the planning form and any last minute updates. We switched a couple of things up at the last second, and Tim was accommodating to those requests. On our wedding day, Tim helped ensure a very smooth evening. We elected to get through our formal stuff quickly to allow everyone to have a good time, and Tim was great at keeping things moving for us. He played all of the songs we requested, and had a good mix throughout the night. I would utilize Tim again with no hesitation.

Tim was great to work with for our big day. He helped guide us through every step of the day, including a detailed, minute-by-minute schedule for the evening, keeping things simple for us. Tim did an incredible job for our wedding at Laurel Hall in Indianapolis, IN! Anyone that knows this venue, understands that there are challenges for setting up music, as there are multiple rooms on 3 different floors. Tim navigated this with ease, and never missed a beat. He was the perfect blend of behind the scenes, yet commanded the microphone when needed. Additionally, he was one of the most professional vendors we have worked with. Tim's website makes song planning a breeze and he had every song that we wanted.

When it came to dancing, we were a little worried that we'd have trouble getting our guests comfortable enough to dance. Tim's energy, song selection, and guidance got everyone dancing, and kept them dancing throughout the night! He far surpassed our expectations and we can't thank him enough for his help in making our wedding perfect!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Tim for our wedding. He was the most incredible DJ and we received countless compliments on the music. The music at the reception can definitely make or a break a reception, and we had guests dancing throughout the entire night, even after the last song ended. Tim did exactly what we requested for the music throughout the night, and even more. The music mix was perfect to get all ages up and dancing and enjoying the evening.

If you have any kind of big event coming up, especially your wedding, you want Tim as your DJ. He's incredibly professional, great at planning with you, and he will make your special day one to remember!

Tim did a fantastic job spinning records at our wedding reception. He made the entire progress easy. He listened to all of our wants and needs and executed them extremely well. He filled in the gaps with music that brought people out to the dance floor. He took requests from guests and told people no if the song was on our no play list. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality and experienced DJ.

Tim was a HUGE help in our wedding and to be honest we were not the easiest bride & groom to work with! We were not very decisive and waited until the last minute to make our music choices. However, Tim was patient with us and kept on us (kindly) to make sure we stayed on track. He also had great suggestions that kept the dance floor moving all night. I don't recall it ever being empty! He also had some fun (not cheesy) games that everyone enjoyed, and he always made sure we were OK with whatever he did BEFORE doing it. He was a good value and worth every penny. Since our wedding he has gone on to do both my sisters' and good friend's wedding!

Tim was our wedding DJ, and made things really easy for us. He got people dancing, and there weren't any songs played that made you go, "whats up with this?!" It was great.

We could not have asked for a better DJ than Tim with Circle City Sound! He always made himself available during planning, via email, phone and Facetime. His online tools made the planning process super easy, too - one portal for choosing our ceremony/reception songs, adding Do Play/Do Not Play lists, etc. As the emcee of the reception, he was thoughtful in his announcement, pronounced everything correctly and moved the events along at the perfect pace, and the uplighting he provided for the reception space made the room perfect. I would highly recommend Tim to anyone!!

Tim was perfect. The music he played was awesome and the dance floor at my reception was full of happy & partying people. Tim seems to know how to read the crowd and know exactly what to play and when...to keep them all dancing. At my sister's wedding, a while back (a different DJ), that DJ actually was drinking on the job and wearing jeans while cracking silly jokes. THAT was embarrassing for my sister. But not Tim! Tim was formally dressed and maintained a professional demeanor all night long. I highly recommend Tim. You'll be pleased. He's the best. He was a good listener and appreciated the songs I suggested. VERY professional. Thank you, Tim.

We chose Tim Glesing after my bridesmaid recommended him. Tim was very flexible and worked with us on our budget. Our wedding was outside and he also did the sound for the ceremony. Tim is very professional and has been in the business a long time. I felt like I could trust him because of that and I took some advice he offered when reviewing last minute details.

He also has a wonderful online planning tool that allows you to plan the ceremony, reception and choose songs you want played and songs you don't want played.

I highly recommend Tim - he is easy to communicate with and played the songs we wanted! Our guests were fans of his too!

Tim is amazing! He met with us multiple times through out the wedding process. He was also available via email. He could answer any and all questions that we had. He gave us great feedback and suggestions. We added services at the last minute and he was able to accommodate our request. Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to Tim! The flow was perfect! Our dance floor was PACKED the entire night! Our guests never sat down! We had our friends and family coming up to us saying this was the best wedding they had ever been to! We had quite a few work friends at the wedding who want to use Tim for corporate events! We could not have picked a better DJ! We were so happy with Tim! He is AWESOME!

Tim Glesing was a great planner, has a website that is easy to use, and helped give advice throughout the pre-wedding stages. At the wedding, he was a wonderful host, played appropriate music throughout, and helped the party stay rocking throughout the entire night! Highly recommended!

Tim was a driving in force in making our wedding reception a success! He was always professional and gave important input on how to organize a fun and memorable event. The DJ was great! We met beforehand to go over the play lists, and he borrowed our CDS for a few more obscure songs we wanted played that he didn't have. He did a great job at the reception making announcements and playing music. Would definitely recommend.

Tim was a fantastic DJ! He was very professional and provided a great atmosphere for the entire reception. He met with us well in advance in order to iron out all of the details. He provided us with great suggestions about the how the reception would be run and the best music for each part of the event. The cocktail hour and dinner music was classy and relaxing. His emcee skills are second to none! And of course his choices of music combined with ours made the dance floor the place to be the entire reception!

Working with Tim and Circle City Sound was a pleasure. He was always prompt with replies, flexible with meeting, and willing to accommodate even the most eclectic requests. Tim was GREAT. I still have people who come to me (my wedding was almost two years ago) and tell me how wonderful my wedding was and how it was the first wedding they attended where every guest was dancing - I contribute this to Tim! Also, I lived about 8 hours away from Indianapolis at the time but Tim was so flexible in the planning. He met with me beforehand to go over what I needed to do and what I needed to have for him. He also had great recommendations for what needed to happen. I mostly appreciated Tim when we went off plan in the wedding party introduction. My husband and I had a wild group and they insisted on doing the conga line, so Tim had to list off names all together and I'm sure that was stressful, but he was great. Thank you!

We made a last-minute decision to hire Tim to deejay our wedding, and it was one of the best choices we made! He was super-accommodating and had no trouble coming in about a week before our wedding or working with 2 brides. He was responsive and open to our music choices, and he even helped to steer us when we could only offer vague ideas of the kinds of music we like. I loved using his website and online forms. It made everything so easy to set up. Tim himself was wonderful to work with: professional, friendly, and very calming - on the big day he directed our event perfectly from the stage, including managing things like the late arrival of a member of the wedding party and the sound for the toasts/performances from one member on acoustic guitar and another set to an mp3. All of our guests said he was amazing, and I couldn't agree more!

We found Circle City Sound (Tim Glesing) from Angies list. He’s price was reasonable and he had really good reviews. So decided to choose him for our wedding. He didn’t have that many reviews on wedding wire unlike some other DJs in town for some reason, so we were a little hesitant but took a chance and it worked out well.
We are really happy with Tim's DJ services and he exceeded our expectations.
He met with us prior to our wedding to go over things. On the day of the wedding he took over and ran things smoothly. He knew how to get the crowed going and pretty much handled everything with minimal input from us.
He was very professional easy to work with and we will gladly recommend him to anyone.

I was thrilled with the way things went on our wedding day. I didn't have to worry about Tim over-taking the show or talking too much, and I didn't feel like he might make our guests get up and do something that they didn't want to do. I was amazed at how quickly the dance floor filled up! I was especially impressed with how well Tim was able to cater the music to make sure that everyone was having a good time. People are still talking about what a great time they had at our wedding and how amazed they are that on the first song in which the dance floor was open, people were out dancing! Tim was very easy to work with and was willing to cater to whatever we wanted to do. Prior to the wedding, Tim was very prompt in responding and seemed to genuinely care about our event. We were definitely happy that we picked Tim to be our DJ and could not have asked for anything better!

Tim's professionalism and service was good overall, however, we did have a big issue during the wedding that resulted in his final rating.

Tim had good preparation and was happy to meet with us several times to review what we wanted for our wedding. He had a convenient online form that addressed what, when and where to play music, talk, etc. He showed up on time for the wedding, set up and dressed professionally and accommodated some quick requests early on in the evening.

The ceremony music did not go exactly as planned, but this was not a huge deal. The problems began later in the evening when the dancing music began. We had two points we were firm on - (1) no requests and (2) stick to our list (made to be appropriate for our families and entertaining for our guests) unless he ran out of songs and then ONLY play songs similar to the music we had chosen. As soon as the reception began, Tim ignored our first point and announced he was taking requests. Our play list was roughly followed, but Tim choose to play a variety of top 40 hits that had some crude language and content. Although the younger part of the crowd may have enjoyed this, it was not appropriate for our grandmothers and older guests (something we tried to avoid by creating our own playlist in the first place). Nobody wanted to put a damper on the evening by chastising Tim so we tried to ignore it and hoped it would rectify itself. It did not. Ultimately, one of the guests was so embarrassed for the couple that she confronted Tim and, to his credit, he immediately switched to a different song. We understand Tim's intent was to keep the dance floor going and, in retrospect, someone should have just confronted him earlier. However, after all the time spent meeting and filling out forms, it was disappointing and wrong to be put in that situation.
