As a bride, one of the things that mattered most to me was capturing the emotions of my wedding day. It was at the top of my list. I browsed through countless reviews and videographers, until I found the one -- Cinemarvel Films.
From the moment I saw Cristian's work, I was captivated. It was exactly what I had dreamed! He tailored each film to the personalities, emotions and day of each couple. No two videos were the same. They were organic beautiful representations of each wedding. I fell in love with his storytelling style and watched every single video on his YouTube channel. I connected with the couples and their families and felt like I was part of their day.
Then I reached out for a consultation. I was so impressed with how funny, smart, friendly and warm he was. He made my partner and I feel at ease. His experience, family values and professionalism were evident from our meeting. He thoroughly answered all of our questions, gave us referrals for other wedding vendors and promptly followed up with every single request (insurance information, meetings with our wedding planner, everything). I remember praying for a sign and I received it.
Cristian speaks Spanish and understands my culture which was highly important when making this choice. We decided to book him right away before someone else snatched him for our day.
On the wedding day, there was so much going on. Cristian and Stephanie (his colleague) got to the hotel early. They were organized, proactive and grounding. He pulled me aside and encouraged me to take a breath and trust my vendors. I felt seen and supported.
My husband, who is typically a quiet man, told me how impressed he was by Stepanie, who was with the groom, capturing those moments. My husband's comments: “he was dedicated to us on our day.” (He's a man of few words)
Cristian recommended a first look, and it was so emotional and magical. During the first look, they captured all of those beautiful moments without imposing so that my husband and I could be in the moment. During the ceremony, they were mindful and proactive with ensuring all the details and emotions made it on to our film. During the reception, Cristian checked in with me periodically to extend the time, and I appreciated this. They were respectful and caring.
It was wonderful to get a sneak peak rightvafter wedding. And then when the film came- wow, I felt like a superstar waiting gor my premiere.
Our film intimately captured our emotions, the nuances of the day, so many moments that I missed. It was truly special and I have watched it many many times. Each time, I feel grateful that we went with Cristian. A wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime event, you want reliable, responsible and artistic people alongside you. Anyone can put together a few clips with music in the background, but to capture people's humanity, it takes a different level of skills. If you want a curated, tailored and artistic film, while working with a solid professional, then look no further. If you're looking for one, this is your sign. Make the investment. Book him!
Even our guests commented on how precise and active they were with capturing every moment. They didn't miss a beat.

I can’t say enough about Cinemarvelfilms! Cristian and his team are remarkable to work with. From every detail start to finish complete professionals. Cinemarvelfilms were able to capture one of the most important and special days of our life on film and have our love story come to life again and again when we watch it. My family and friends were brought to tears when they watched our video. I could not recommend Cinemarvelfilms any higher.

Cristian did an amazing job as our wedding videographer at Brant Beach Yacht Club this May! He was extremely attentive and did an amazing job at capturing everything without being intrusive. His video came out perfect with absolutely no changes necessary. He captured everything we wanted for our big day and more. He was even able to provide the raw footage as an add on to our package. Cinemarvel (Cristian Velez and team) were amazing for our wedding! One of the first things Cristian said to us was how he loved to document and tell a couple’s unique story through his films. We are so happy with our wedding films because he did exactly that and more. We received both our teaser and short film within a month and both were crafted extremely well. Watching the films brings us so much joy and emotion as each scene is so clear and beautiful. It’s as if we relive the entire day each time we watch.
During the planning phase, Cristian was very thorough and made sure we outlined our entire day and important moments to capture. He was also very detailed and gave us information on what to expect on the day of our wedding.
Cristian arrived early on the day of our wedding and got cool aerial footage of our venue. He captured all of our details and had a lot of great ideas from the beginning. Cristian worked well with the photographer to get a multitude of shots throughout our venue. He got great shots of us, the bride and groom, as well as our family and friends. There are so many awesome candid moments in our videos that we were so happy to see.
We are so grateful for Cristian for beautifully documenting all of the moments of our special day! We highly recommend Cristian and his team! -

Cinemarvel Films is hands down the best cinematographer in the NJ/NYC area. We met with roughly 20+ cinematographers throughout our planning process and no one was able to convince us on handing them the keys to film our wedding and deliver a first class product. There was a point where we started to give up on the idea of cinematography as an option but then we luckily found Cinemarvel Films. Cristian (lead cinematographer) was very thorough during our initial consultation and welcomed our ideas as it pertained to the vision that we had. He was very responsive throughout our decision making process and answered all our questions promptly. Cristian was really a breath of fresh air and we were very confident that he would be able to meet our standards therefore we decided to pull the trigger and lock them in.
The package we picked had a save the date video included and Cristian was willing to work with us as it pertained to the location, dates and time. He also allowed us to bring our dog and incorporate our dog within the film. We suggested we wanted this film to serve as a Time Capsule of our love at this moment before kids and Cristian delivered. We loved it so much and received so many compliments on it regularly. As it pertained to timing, Cristian was very quick on turnaround.
Now, leading up to the wedding. Cristian sent us a questionnaire which asked key details and hit on specific topics that would be essential to ensure he was equipped to deliver on our vision. Moreover, We had a coordinator that worked with all of our vendors and in terms of communication, cinemarvel films was very on point and efficient.
Now, on our wedding day, The team of cinematographers were early to the venue, very professional and had amazing attention to detail. We noticed that Cristian and his team worked really well with the other vendors. In relation to personality, the team was very personable and allowed us to have genuine candid moments. We showed our save the date film during dinner with our wedding guest and we received many compliments from not only our guest but the venue staff (several of them said that this was the first time the saw a film of this quality shared during a wedding).
Lastly, for turnaround time of our wedding teaser/film. We received it before the amount of time that was promised. If there’s one constant theme I can say about Cinemarvel is that they consistently underpromised and overdelivered for us. We watched the film and again we were blown away with how amazing it was. I know we have said this several times throughout the process but thank you so much Cristian. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cinemarvel Films. Please look no further. This is the best cinematography company out there but more importantly overall genuinely nice/honest people.

We found Cinemarvel in a wedding Facebook group and are so so glad we did! We knew the typical sappy romantic wedding video wasn’t for us, and loved that Cristian really tailors his videos to each unique couple. Personality was an important factor for us in hiring all our vendors, and we could tell from our first video call with Cristian that we would get along great. We loved meeting him ahead of time and getting comfortable being filmed in our Save the Date shoot, and that video was fantastic. Then on the day of our wedding, he and his second shooter, Andres, did an awesome job of capturing every special moment without anything feeling forced. We were completely blown away by the teaser video he posted the very next day - it honestly looked like a movie trailer and we felt like total celebrities. The longer video arrived sooner than he said it would and it was equally amazing. Some people think wedding videos are something you’ll only watch once, or only worth having to show your kids in the future, but we and our families have been watching these videos on repeat. -

Do not hesitate to book Cristian as your wedding videographer. We found him on Instagram and were immediately floored by the quality of his work. The day-of, he was unobtrusive and let our photographer lead, but also somehow got every shot framed and captured perfectly. We had our sneak-peek trailer about 24 hours (before we even got to our honeymoon destination!) and our feature film quicker than we could believe. It made our parents cry even more than they did on the day of our wedding! His second shooter, Jason, was also so pleasant and talented. Cristian and Jason also worked well in tandem with our wedding photographer, and were very flexible. We were so happy with this team. -

When deciding whether or not we wanted to hire a videographer for our wedding, my husband and I really had to weigh the pros and cons as we were trying to stay cost effective. While it came as a last minute decision, we are so incredibly happy that we decided to hire Cristian to film our day. The experience was simple and easy from start to finish, and Cristian was always quick and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Cristian did my engagement and micro wedding pictures. He captured some seriously amazing shots!!!! Both my husband and I are so happy with the images he was able to capture of our very special day. I had the most amazing experience working with Cinemarvelfilms! Like so many other couples we had to rearrange our plans last minute due to COVID. I was so happy to find them on such short notice. Cristian was so quick to respond as well as being helpful with all of my questions! He was so kind and even called us to make sure we covered everything we needed to. On the day of our wedding even though we were running a bit behind he made sure to get us all set up with what we needed. He was very attentive and made sure we had all of the shots we needed to make our film beautiful! He even came back to get us when the weather cleared up in order to make sure we had the perfect footage. He was so great during the time in between the wedding and when our film was ready. We had sneak peeks and a trailer to keep us anticipating the finished product! Once we received the link to our video we were blown away! The quality and artistry was incredible. He knew exactly what clips to put together to highlight the most important parts of our day. It was such a beautiful flow and I’ve watched it over and over again! We had our wedding during COVID. Cristian worked with us patiently and answered all our questions. He was engaging and professional. One can tell that he is serious about his work. He even has a questionnaire that you can fill out so that he can give you the best service during your wedding.
Our wedding film had clips from our family and friends who were miles away. Combined with the beautiful work that Cristian captured, the end result was a tear-jerker. We had something special to share to our families and friends who couldn’t make it to the wedding, and we have documented memories for a lifetime. We are so blessed to have had him as our videographer. -

Working with Cristian was awesome! He was punctual, courteous, and managed to get awesome footage without being in the way, which was my concern with having a team with two photographers and a team with two videographers. We love our short film (we’ve watched it SO many times) and have gotten so many compliments from our family and friends. Excited to relive more of the wedding with our documentary cut! It’s wonderful that we’ll get both. Essentially, we got exactly what we wanted for a very reasonable price and would certainly work with Cinemarvel again! -

Once you have an amazing service, its the little touches that really count to differentiate and go above and beyond. And that is exactly what they have done.
Christian took us on last minute because we had to plan our wedding in a month and was very accomodating. Before the wedding Christian and his wife were attentive, quick to respond and very personal with their service. Their demonstration videos/albums alongside the thorough planning of the day put us at ease, knowing we need not stress about getting the "perfect" pictures.
During the wedding Christian and his team arrived with plenty of time to set up and get us ready, especially since the plans were changed due to a thunderstorm. Not only was he quick to react with this, he was also quick to reassure us and adapt to the situation.
Christian and his team seemed to be everywhere at once, capturing every special moment from multiple angles. He stayed later than planned after we requested as he was doing such a great job at immersing himself in the event and seeking those one of a kind moments, even standing out in the rain with us and his team for some shots of the NYC skyline.
After the wedding Christian and his wife released a select few photos the morning after which were great, and their communication afterwards was prompt and attentive still. We received both photos and videos inside of two months after the wedding which was way faster than we expected. They were also very reasonably priced for the outstanding service provided and we wish them all the success in the future. When we have family photos/events we will certainly be returning! -

My husband and I are super thrilled with Cinemarvel's photography and videography; they captured the most special moments of our *brunch* wedding, beautifully! We went all out with the packages, and glad we did: we purchased the photography package, the photobooth, the short film (~5-6 minutes) and documentary video (~1hr). The wedding album we received was so beautifully done, we ordered an additional 2 for our parents. Overall it was such a pleasure working with the Cinemarvel team! Cristian and his wife are super talented, super responsive, and super friendly - would definitely recommend them for a wedding event! -

He was patient, flexible and the ultimate professional. The quality of his work was exceptional and all of our family was so impressed with his work. We canceled our engagement photo shoot several times due to logistical issues but Cristian was always willing to work with us and remained professional despite our challenges. Our wedding ceremony was chaotic due to several vendors showing up late but Cristian was able to work through all of the chaos and provide us with amazing shots of our day. Please choose Cinemarvelfilms, you will not be disappointed. There packages are super reasonable and delivery is super quick.
