My wedding was a dream that could of easily been a nightmare! With close to 400 guests, a tent setting in the middle of a storm, and a caterer that did not provide, it would of been a recipe for disaster. DJ Cincy and his crew literally saved the day beyond measures and we couldn’t be more grateful. To begin, they started with the speakers and microphones for our outdoor service. When the rain started, they didn’t make a scene about anything and just made sure to help us get inside. Once we relocated to the tent, they had everything set up and ready to go in what seemed like seconds and kept everything going on track. DJ Cincy kept to the timeline the best he could with all the quick changes in our day and did it with ease. The lighting in the tent was absolutely perfect for pictures at all times, and the music was always on cue. He set up a playlist with me initially during our first meeting and there was never a lapse in music throughout the night. The way him and the crew made the music flow was perfect and there was never a dull moment on the dance floor! I got so many compliments on this crew from guests and still do months later. We have recommended this group to many friends and families events and can’t wait to hear more from them in the future! If you are looking for a great crew, with exceptional and rare service with the perfect sense of music, please give them a chance! You really can’t ask for a better group to create such vivid and lasting memories for any event, but most importantly, your wedding night!

Highly Recommend

Having a top notch DJ for a wedding, is a priority for most- and if it isn't it should be! The DJ sets the tone and the mood, and I have been to too many weddings, where they just fall short, and empty dance floors. That was not the case for our wedding. Braden sat with us ahead of time, and discussed the types of music that we, and our friends and family would most be interested in; as well as what time of the night would benefit from say either classical music for the dinner, or EDM on the dance floor! When the day of the wedding came, he was 100% on point with the music and vibe! We had friends and family from all around the country sharing with us their amazing fun experiences at our wedding, and I confidently attribute much of that to Braden and his team! To this day, over a year later, we still have friends and family who talk about how much fun they had dancing at our wedding and the overall incredible energy. My husband and I would recommend Braden to anyone looking to have fun and who want the music that they actual enjoy to be played.

More than just a DJ

We are so thankful to have had Cincy Entertainment Services on our big day. We spent about a year planning the original wedding and sadly it didn’t happen. We had to postpone our original date due to Covid and Braden never made that a difficult decision. He transferred our date no problem. He kept in contact with us throughout the next 6 months to make sure he had the up to date information and worked with our other vendors as we got closer to take some stress off our plates. He asked them what they had planned to make sure he was highlighting the big decor in the room and setting the right mood. They even showed up at the rehearsal to test mics and lighting for the ceremony. On the actual day of Braden stepped up and helped make sure that the wedding stuck to the schedule we had laid out without being overbearing. We had dreamed of a kids dance party during dinner so that the little ones could dance and have a good time before it got too late. Instead of telling us we were crazy he made it happen and even let the kids play their favorite songs and practice their DJ skills. Thank you Braden and Cincy Entertainment team! You really made our day special.

Most awesome music provider of the century!

We used DJ Cincy for both of our children's weddings and loved the experience both times. They made the day most memorable. We couldn't have done it without them!

DJ for my October wedding

My family has used Braden and his team for 10+ years now so there was no question who we should use for our wedding. They were of course more than we could’ve asked for! They were extremely professional from start to finish, they handled any hiccups without us knowing, great music choices for all ages- everyone told us they’d never seen so many people on the dance floor all at once because the music was THAT good! There are not enough words to thank Braden and his team for completing our perfect day!

We used Cincy Entertainment Services as our DJ for our wedding at Alms park back in May. Braden and his team did an absolutely amazing job. They provided music and mics for our outdoor service, MC'd the event, and kept the party moving on the dance floor. We worked with him before the big day to go over exactly what we wanted to play throughout the night and he nailed it. I never knew what a large role the DJ played during a wedding keeping the night moving and on schedule, but so happy we went with CES for our wedding. USE THEM!

Braden from DJcincy was the perfect wedding DJ. He met with us beforehand and told us what he needed and what he didn't need, he established realistic expectations and even offered additional lighting services. He kept the reception at our daughters wedding moving along well and anticipated well the kind of music the crowd was responding to and kept it going. We didn't stop dancing all night. Very memorable evening.

Braden and the DJ Cincy staff were absolutely wonderful and my husband and I were very impressed with their professionalism and services at our wedding! Braden really listened to what we were looking for in terms of music choices and flow and he exceeded our expectations! He brings a lot of good energy to the crowd and does a great job of making sure the dance floor is packed. Everyone had a great time because of him. The staff was extremely hard working, they were on time, the flow of the evening was great and Braden's music choices were perfect. We did not have to worry about a thing. He incorporated exactly what we were looking for. We also used DJ Cincy for lighting services and the bistro lights looked gorgeous. The bistro light set up made it look like it our wedding was out of a magazine. We received so many great compliments from guests asking who we used for our DJ because everyone was so impressed. Braden was really easy to work with and made our wedding run very smoothly. If we would have to do it over we would pick Braden every time, we trust him and couldn't have had a better choice for DJ/Lighting. Wow, amazing job.

Our daughter was able to customize all the specifics she wanted or didn't want regarding lighting, sound, and DJ services. Braden was pleasant, professional, and always available to answer questions. We had sound provided at our backyard ceremony as well and we were very happy to have that so all guests could hear everything!

I had the privilege of working with Dj Cincy for my fall wedding and they exceeded my expectations! I have worked in the wedding industry for a few years and worked with several dj’s so I knew I might be critical when it came to choosing one for my own wedding. Braden was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond for me. I appreciated his knowledge and keeping me involved the day of the wedding. He is by far one of the best if not THE best DJ in Cincinnati. My lighting was perfect, the music flowed beautifully, and most important he had everyone on the dance floor with the most up to date music and special songs that we requested. I also appreciated that he kept his equipment up to date (no cheesy disco lights) and I could tell he had a top of the line sound system and lighting. His professionalism and expertise was greatly appreciated. Over all, I can’t recommend him enough! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Braden and the whole DJ cincy staff completely made my wedding night! I don't usually leave reviews but I feel my wedding wouldn't have been half of what it was without DJ Cincy. From the get go Braden was so easy to talk to and was very professional. He kept the ball rolling with the timeline we had given so we could have all the time we wanted to party and dance. Almost no one sat down all night, and no one left until they basicaly had to kick us out of the venue. We were having an absolute BLAST. To have over 250 people, young and old, out dancing the night away is something I will remember forever. It's been months since my wedding and people are still talking about how my wedding was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding and I owe it all to DJ Cincy. Thanks so much for listening to what we wanted and for being so great leading up to the wedding day and the day of. Anytime anyone asks for referrals for a DJ I without a doubt tell people DJ Cincy! Braden was amazing! He dj'd our wedding at Ault Park on Friday November 10th. He responded promptly to all of our emails and answered all of our questions. We met at his office to go over all the details and made the process so simple and made us feel so much better about everything leading up to our big day. As for the day of, he was amazing and I can't say it enough. Very professional and made sure we didn't have to worry about anything except enjoying our wedding day. He coordinated all the events so smoothly and kept everything on track. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night and made sure the music selection was personalized to our taste and not "just another typical wedding playlist". I highly recommend Braden and DjCincy to anyone I can. If I could do it over and over again I'd choose Braden to do our wedding 11 out of 10 times!

Braden Hasselbeck with DJcincy was an amazing DJ for our wedding. HE made the fun contagious. The dance floor was SO full ALL night, that some people had to dance on the carpet just to get in on the action. He played all the best songs and we partied till the clock struck 12. In fact, the other vendors at the wedding said they had never seen so many people dance for so long.
He ran the events of the wedding with perfection and timed them flawlessly. He was not one of those gabby DJ's who wants to talk-he just kept the tunes on coming.
All my vendors were excellent and I wouldn't change any of them, BUT Braden with DJcincy is at the top of my list. I can't thank him enough for helping to make the day end so wonderfully.
He is was also amazing at solving a last minute technical and sound issue. We had a minor glitch with the technology before the ceremony and Braden came to save the day. I have been to a lot of weddings and heard a lot of DJ's -Braden is by far the best. You won't be disappointed.......His prices are reasonable too!

Braden was so wonderful to work with and was open to our music ideas! He made himself available to meet several times before the date of the wedding to nail down final details. Because he works so many weddings, Braden was very knowledgeable about other aspects of wedding planning other than music and we consulted with him on many details. Braden and his team have an extensive catalog of music and were so accommodating to us for our special day. His equipment looked and performed at such a high level of quality and he was a great MC for our wedding party introductions. He seems to know the wedding and special event community so well. He's a true professional who advised us along the way on where to focus our efforts and spend. He was able to take a few of our special requests with complete ease. DJ Cincy did an outstanding job at my daughter's Sweet 16. We had live entertainment as well and DJ Cincy worked with them in playing music to build up to their performance while still keeping the kids engaged. Loved having the videos playing with the music. They did a great job of keeping the party going after the entertainers were done. DJ Cincy was very accomodating to all of our requests. Great group of guys! I would highly recommend them!

Braden and his team at DJ Cincy were an amazing DJ company to work with. Their attention to detail and willingness to work with my husband and I on an eclectic list of music needs did not go unnoticed. We received several compliments on the amazing work of our DJ and the wonderful atmosphere he created both during our low key/casual dinner and for a party/dancing atmosphere following. They listened to what we wanted and delivered on every ask we made. Our wedding reception at Krohn Conservatory was the most wonderful night of our lives! Braden and his team helped us create the perfect reception and dance party. He was immensely helpful and detail oriented in helping us develop a timeline for formalities (first dance, father/daughter and mother/son dances, cake cutting, and toasts). He was attentive to the type of music we wanted to hear, and what we didn't want to hear - and even suggested the perfect background music for our cocktail hour. He was willing and able to accommodate a live musician outside during cocktail hour, helping us create two distinct moods for inside and outside the venue, and transitions between spaces were seamless. Our families and guests loved every part of our reception, and DJCincy was a huge part of helping us create a reception that was unique to us - rather than the same old, overplayed sounds you hear at every reception.

Without question, we can offer the highest recommendation for DJCincy!

As a bride, who felt she should do her due diligence in benchmarking vendors so she could ensure she got the most "bang for her buck", I can confidently say that DJCincy is by far the best value MC/DJ services.

We had an outdoor ceremony that DJ Cincy set a separate PA system up for and that worked out beautifully; many guests said the ceremony was magical. We also had a slideshow of pictures in our reception that DJ Cincy displayed on a 55" flat screen TV that was elevated on a tower for all guests could see. Once the dancing began, the TV then displayed music videos for the songs that were being played; our guests loved that!

In addition, I was also able to bundle DJCincy's MC/DJ services with Cincy Lighting's phenomenal lighting services. Braden is the ultimate professional and was so easy to work with. Not only will you be quoted a reasonable price but you can rest assured that you will receive the highest quality products and service.

A lot of couples are unaware of the impact lighting can have on a venue, inside or outside. Our wedding reception was hosted indoors but with Braden's help, a normal ballroom transformed into something much more beautiful! The color quality of the lights, the transitions of color between songs, and the custom monogram really made a difference and I couldn't have imagined working with anyone else.

In the end, not only did DJCincy/Cincy Lighting Services make our reception beautiful and enticed our guests to get on the dance floor but their excellent service made the night go so smoothly and worry-free, which is what every bride needs on the BIG day!

My daughter, her fiance, and I really appreciated working with Braden Hasselbeck of DJ Cincy on preparation for their Wedding at Ault Park Pavilion. We had many song requests for the cocktail hour, dinner hour, and the dance portion of the reception, and Braden managed them all extremely well. In addition, he provided us with a hand mic to use for the welcome and the toasts. The best testimonial to his skills as a DJ was how much everyone crowded the dance floor and celebrated right up to the end of the reception. They had a blast!

In addition to the DJ services, Braden handled the lighting. The strings of bistro lights that criss crossed the vault of the pavilion added exactly the right atmosphere that my daughter wished to create for the wedding ceremony and reception.

We highly recommend DJ Cincy for anyone's wedding event. Braden was very professional in handling the business side of the arrangements as well, staying in close communication and providing both the contract and other helpful organizational materials.

We couldn't have been happier with DJCincy. Not only was he the dj for us but he was also our lighting vendor. He was always quick to respond to us and was great at answering all of our questions.
I wasn't sure what all I wanted lighting wise and he was able to give us a lot of great suggestions. We had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome all the lighting was. He was really able to create a great ambiance.
I did compare him with other lighting services and he was able to offer more at a better price. As far as the dj service goes, he was well priced and worth every penny. He kept the crowd on the dance floor which were people of all ages. I actually work in the wedding industry and have seen a lot of dj's and DjCincy is BY FAR THE BEST!! He is very professional and really knows what he's doing. He had all the latest technology and it really showed.
When I was shopping around for dj's, a lot of them have several different dj's and you don't know who you're going to get. I've seen some really bad ones with all the weddings I work and I felt so comfortable knowing that with djcincy that was never an issue. When you book with him, you get him- the owner.
He also met with us and got to know us so he had a better understanding of what we were wanting for our wedding. I liked that he never asked us to pick all of our music. I know some dj's do that but If I pick all my music why am I hiring a dj? An iPod can do that. Djcincy was able to figure out what kind of music we liked and play it without us individually picking every song.

Bottom line.... he is the BEST value, BEST quality and BEST overall. I can't recommend him enough!!!!!

I could not have asked for a better DJ. The DJ and the other member went above and beyond for my event. I put complete trust in the DJ, and everything as planned. The DJ was always on his toes just in-case something did not go as planned. I was able to relax during my event and not worry. The DJ and his other member were friendly and professional! I would recommend this company to anyone, and would love to use him again for other events I have.

I'm so glad I chose DJ Cincy for my wedding. They listened to what I wanted, showed up early and kept us on time. They even went out their way to help skype my cousin from costa rica who couldn't be at the wedding. I will definitely recommend them to anyone having a wedding or needing DJ services.

I am currently 21 years old and met my husband when I was 19 right after we had graduated highschool. We both moved away from home to go to college not knowing we would be finding the love of our life there. We clicked immediately, and after 2 years, decided to get married on my birthday in 2010. Seeing as we are both really young and didnt know too much about wedding planning, we were in desperate need of some help. My parents live in West Virginia and his folks currently reside in Georgia so help with planning for a wedding was extremely difficult on our own. We were extremely impressed with how helpful Braden was with setting us up for our dream wedding. Since he has been in the business for a little while, any other wedding plans we had questions about he was happy to answer for us. Not only did he help us with the lighting and music, but he went above and beyond to help us with our wedding in general. I could not have asked for anyone better to help guide us through this journey and to make our wedding picture perfect. My husband and I got married on May 29, 2009. We were looking for someone who would be budget friendly and could work with our hectic schedules, seeing as we live in Dayton, Ohio. Braden Hasselbeck and his crew were extremely professional and helpful when it came to the lighting and set up of the dance floor for our reception. Before we got married, my husband and I met in college where I was in a sorority ZETA TAU ALPHA with a bunch of my friends. In our sorority we had a special song that every girl in that sorority, plays in their wedding. As with all of the craziness that comes with planning a wedding, I completely forgot to put that song in our play list for the reception. Little did I know, my sorority sisters (who were all attending the wedding and reception) spoke with DJ CINCY at the reception and he was able to get the song together and played, to my surprise, for all of my sisters and myself. I was ecstatic! It made the night so special and is definitely going to be a moment that I will treasure forever! I will thankfully recommend DJ CINCY to anyone and everyone who is looking for an open minded, thoughtful and detail oriented Dj. We loved everything that the team did for us and will definitely use their services in the future!

Mr. Hasselbeck and his entire staff were great to work with in regards to our Wedding Reception. We were very grateful for his willingness to tailor his equipment, manpower and services to fulfill our needs. Mr. Hasselbeck and his staff were very professional. We very much relieved after our consultation with Mr. Hasselbeck because of his experience and knowledge of DJ'ing wedding receptions was very evident. We recieved many compliments from our guests regarding Mr. Hasselbeck and the entire DJCincy staff. Our reception went off without a hitch and Mr. Hasselbeck's service can be credited for the successful evening. His organization and know how of corridinating the evenings events were fantastic. The only compliants we recieved in regards to our reception were the fact that it had to end. Everyone had a great time dancing and all of us enjoyed the music and lights that the DJCincy provided. I would highly reccomend DJCincy to anyone who is looking for a DJ who is willing to fulfill all of your needs. I cannot say enough good things about DJcincy.com! My main concern for our wedding reception was staying on schedule and making sure everyone had a great time. DJcincy definitely accomplished that! The organizational skills that they used during the reception really made the night less stressful and more enjoyable! They kept everyone on the dance floor all night! It's been almost 2 years since our wedding we still have family and friends telling us how great the music was and how much fun they had at our reception! Lighting and music was perfect

Excellent Experience

From start to finish, Braden and his team at Cincy Entertainment Services were professional, knowledgeable and great to work with! Braden's experience helped eliminate a lot of the stress associated with the audio, music and lighting for the ceremony and reception. Braden knew exactly what music to play and when even when we didn't know ourselves sometimes. Cincy Entertainment Services was definitely a major reason why our wedding day was fun and unforgettable! We would recommend them to anyone!

We couldn't be happier with Braden and his team. We used him for lighting and DJ service at Alms Park. The lighting was amazing. The transition of a beautiful park to a night time scene was magical. The sound system was excellent. Everyone danced their hearts out since the music and music quality were so good. Braden's announcement was professional and tasteful. He is highly recommended for a reason. If you don't want to worry about these details, use him!!

DJ’d our wedding at Ault Park. Was very familiar with the venue and staff. Could not have asked for a different more willing to work with our requests and help fill in our knowledge on the pieces we were missing. Played exactly to our taste with minimal direction or no intervention. Ultimately made our special night a truly memorable and dear occasion.

One thing that I did not care for in regards to this DJ service is that I specifically asked not to play any rap music at our reception. The song he chose for us to walk into the reception hall was a song from JaRule. And the song they played for the wedding party to walk into was "Let's Hear it for the Boy" from the movie Footloose. What is that about? I guess if you use this DJ service, you would have to tell them specifically what songs to play, or you will probably be disappointed.

This vendor I have a bit of a hard time giving a review for so I’ll base it on two parts. I was extremely disappointed in the planning stages with him. We had to provide the songs for him to play (as in purchase them ourselves, edit them ourselves). He also would blow off our phone calls and emails and it took him three months to get him to respond to meeting to discuss music. I repeatedly told him I just wanted the vibe to be that of a party and my biggest fear was to not having people dancing. Well at the reception, many people wouldn’t dance and I don’t think we ever had more than 15% of the guests on the dance floor. However, this may be due more to our guests than him so I’m not sure if I can really count this as a negative. Many guests gave us feedback that they really wish there were more slow songs and felt there were too many fast songs. Due to some unexpected circumstance my groom was not in the room for much of the reception, so I don’t know if this played into it at all. Also many of our must play songs were played back to back immediately at the start of dancing, so we didn’t get to dance due to saying hi to everyone. We also got the comment a lot that his microphone was too low and people could not hear. I even brought this up with him, asked him to make some announcements again since people couldn’t hear the first time, but people still could not hear him the second time. I would say for $500-700 he would be a great DJ, but I really feel we did not get what we paid for. It wasn’t horrible, but I feel like if he would not have brushed us off so much in the planning stage that the reception would have gone better. However, he was very flexible about meeting us where ever and time wise once we could get a hold of him. And when we asked for special songs to be replayed at the reception due to people missing them, he was very happy to accommodate us.

Overwhelmingly unprofessional; too busy to handle volume of work
• Consistently didn’t reply to emails for multiple weeks because he was busy. The week of the wedding he missed two planned calls without notice; apologized days later, citing he was again, “very busy.” (ProTip: don’t tell the bride that you’re feeling busy the week of her wedding. She’s losing her mind overseeing everything, you literally have one job for that day.) The fact that he doesn’t realize how rude this is indicative of his sensitivity and professionalism.
• Repeatedly missed phone call meetings without notice.
• Two months before, he told me he had the instrumental version of the bridal processional song. When I asked to hear the song the week before the wedding, he said he didn’t have it (and had never actually found it).
PAYMENT: I asked about online payment options as the two week payment deadline approached. I never heard back from him (and didn’t want to be penalized for late payment) so I mailed the check to the address listed for payments on the contract. When I didn’t hear confirmation that he had received the check, I emailed Braden to confirm. He never replied. I called him to confirm and he had not received the payment because he moved and didn’t update his address with me or on his contract. Now I had to call the bank to cancel the check (for a $33 fee), and make the payment online. All this when I asked for an online payment option weeks before.
DAY OF, CEREMONY:
• processional not queued, awkward silence between processional songs
• recessional not queued to play after our kiss, we walked the aisle from our ceremony in silence.
DAY OF, RECEPTION:
• Asked B + G how we would prefer microphones to be set up (shouldn’t that have been a conversation we had BEFORE our reception?) I don’t know about your job. Set it up so it works. The options he gave us were – “wired so it works or digital so it doesn’t always work and I don’t know why.” [more on Google review]
