Amazing photographers!
Hiring Rob and Laura was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They were warm, kind, and detail oriented. They made us feel so comfortable and they were very respectful of what was most important to us for our photos.
They were also amazing with our toddler. He did not always want to cooperate, but they approached him with so much patience and playfulness that he eventually warmed up and ended up loving them. The only reason we have so many great family photos is because of all their extra effort with him.
When we received our gallery, we were blown away. They delivered hundreds of stunning images that captured the full story — the emotions, the beauty, and all the in-between moments we didn’t even know were happening. We love our photos so much, and we were also able to share so many great candids of our guests who love their photos too. We received so many compliments during and after the wedding of how great our photographers were!
Rob and Laura were worth every penny and exceeded our expectations in every way. We are truly grateful we had them there to document our day and would recommend them a thousand times over. -

Rob and Laura are professional, genuine and an absolute dream to work with for a wedding. They are both truly artists and make you feel comfortable with gorgeous pictures as the final result. Rob and Laura know how to capture the important as well as the candid moments. While we were taking family photos after the ceremony Laura ran down to the bridal suite to bring back a comfortable pair of shoes for me to change into since my wedding shoes were killing me. And we loved our engagement session where our fur babies joined in the fun because they're our family. I can't imagine our incredible wedding journey without Rob and Laura! -

The best decision of our wedding!!
I cannot scream from the mountains loud enough that everybody needs to book Rob and Laura as their photographers!! Outside of choosing my husband, choosing the Cimbaliks was the best decision I made on my wedding day.
From the getgo, we felt such an instant connection to them and they provided support and help throughout our entire wedding planning process. We were planning from out of state and had to make lots of changes — even changing our venue — and the Cimbaliks never once showed any hesitation or doubt that everything would end up perfect.
They were so accommodating with us — we live in North Carolina, so all our planning sessions were virtual, and we still felt like they were sitting right next to us walking us through everything we needed to know. They were also willing to squeeze in our engagements once we flew in TWO DAYS before our wedding.
On the wedding day, there was nothing more comforting than Laura knocking on my door and bringing such a comfort and light into the room. On a day that was so hectic and went by so fast, they were able to help us focus on each other and remember to take it all in. I truly feel like they weren’t just our photographers — but our FRIENDS!!
Not only are they the best people, but they’re TALENT! Oh my goodness. I haven’t stopped staring at my wedding photos. Every other piece of my wedding is a memory — but these photos live on forever.
Investing in the Cimbaliks is a decision I would make over and over and over again. Stop looking now — you’ve found your photographers!! -

Rob and Laura truly made our wedding day perfect! As someone who is nervous for photos they did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable and leading the wedding party and family quickly through all key shots. I would recommend them for any photo needs, I can't thank them enough for all of the hard work they put in around our wedding and the joy they brought to our day!! -

Look no further, hire Rob and Laura for your photography needs! They are gifted artists, with an uncanny ability to capture the most precious moments so beautifully. My son picked them to capture his engagement - which was a surprise for his now bride-to-be! She had no idea he was going to propose; Rob and Laura captured her surprise and the pure joy of the moment for both she and my son. It just could not have been more perfect! They traveled to Tamarack for the photos, and we had to call an audible in the original plans due to some weather concerns; Rob & Laura knew exactly what to do to make this work and still make it a surprise. We love the photos and they helped make the moment just that much more special! -

We were so fortunate to have Rob & Laura as photographers for our wedding day. They not only provided photography services on our special day, but we’re also so helpful in navigating all things wedding— keeping my veil on, helping with wardrobe malfunctions, interacting with guests, laughing with us, providing us memorable keepsakes, etc. We heard so many comments from guests on their positive, warm interactions with Rob & Laura throughout the day!
Rob & Laura photographed our engagement session, and from there we knew we hit the jackpot with them! Not only are their pictures phenomenal, but they were so helpful in the planning, providing location ideas, etc. for the photo shoot. We fell in love with the pictures the minute we saw them! But their support and help didn’t stop there. They were with us along the journey of planning our wedding over the next year— providing insightful tips, recommendations, etc.. For example, they helped us outline the timeline of events for the big day and helped us determine where our ceremony location was going to be based on lighting tips and info! We would have been lost without them.
Now, to talk about their product. Wow! Our pictures are phenomenal! I have high expectations but they completely blew them out of the water— with both our engagement session and our wedding day. It’s probably one of the biggest compliments we routinely hear from our family and friends! In fact, we love them so much, we’ve created a dozen photo books and have gifted them out to our wedding party, friends and family.
We are so, so thankful that we were fortunate enough to have Rob & Laura as our wedding day photographers. They were more than “just photographers”. They were our planners, biggest cheerleaders, etc. Our day would have not been half as successful as it was, if it wasn’t for these two! And we have gorgeous pictures to look back on and relieve the day over and over again. We are so appreciative!! -

Where to even begin....working with Rob and Laura for our wedding was the best decision we ever made. Words hardly do them justice because they are the kind of people who are just genuine, friendly, loving and caring. They went above and beyond what we paid them for and surprised us with little things throughout the planning process and even beyond the wedding. I wont spoil all their secrets because you just need to work with them to find out. You will not regret it.
They are set apart. The two of them complement each other so well and capture different images. They are so generous with their time and in the week leading up to the wedding (after I changed the timeline up) Laura took time to have a call with me to walk through the new timeline. Simply put, Rob & Laura are phenomenal photographers with exceptional customer service and artistic talent. As the mother of the bride, there are plenty of details to worry about, but from the moment we first met the Cimbaliks, we knew we wouldn’t have to worry about the photos.
It was so awesome to have photographers who knew exactly the locations to take my daughter & her fiancé for their engagement session, and that they made it so fun abs special despite the cold and windy weather that evening. We received preview photos very quickly and were so grateful to have such beautiful, high quality images to use in the wedding invites and to display at home.
Fast forward to the wedding at Tamarack this fall, we did feel very fortunate to have spectacular fall colors and sunshine, but doubly fortunate to have talented photographers capturing special moments throughout the day and evening. From the hair & makeup shots to the ceremony, family portraits and reception, Rob & Laura captured every memorable moment and exceeded our every expectation — so much so that they felt like part of the family by the end of the evening! -

The most amazing photography team
Rob and Laura are absolutely amazing. We originally met during some family photos a couple years prior and I was already impressed so I made sure to keep them in my back pocket for when marriage came along. Not only are they very talented photographers, but they go above and beyond that role. I do not want to divulge any of their little surprises, but know there are many along the road to your big day! Both Rob and Laura have great strengths they bring to the table. Rob is the maestro and keeps the day of the wedding moving while Laura completely embodies that motherly spirit to help not only the bride but the entire bridesmaid group. She even brings a little sewing kit so when your bridesmaid's dress's zipper fails, she is able to supply the tools to help us sew her into her dress (true story!). Both Rob and Laura are obviously seasoned vets when it comes to the wedding scene! When booking Rob and Laura, it is indeed an investment. I look at our photos and relive every moment. Not only will you be happy with them in person, but their final product is amazing. I had so many wedding guests during the wedding, the day after the wedding, weeks after the wedding, and months after the wedding compliment them. In regards to the weeks leading up to the wedding, Laura and Rob are very responsive and helpful. They definitely do not stay confined to a roll of 'photographer only'. They are able to help you plan the day and give helpful advice when it comes to those very stressful tasks. Love, love, love them. -

Rob and Laura Cimbalik took pictures for our engagement session and our wedding. Let me tell you, they are hands down the best! Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they are also such a joy to be around! They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and always had us laughing. Bonus points for having two photographers! They get so many moments that I feel like would go missed if we just had one of them. We were treated with so much love during our engagement, wedding, and even afterwards! They were so easy to work with when we had to postpone our wedding a year later than we originally planned. The pictures we received from them were one of my favorite things from our wedding. They have such a love for what they do it really shows in their work. We get so many compliments on our pictures! Rob and Laura Cimbalik are a joy to work with! They are such a great team and have a fantastic eye for photography. After a couple of google searches for McCall area wedding photography we landed on their website and fell in love with their bright and vibrant style. My husband and I wanted a local photographer who knew the area and knew how to capture the beauty of the Idaho mountains - Rob and Laura did not disappoint!
They are truly a beautiful example of love and marriage and their passion for their craft is apparent. We have received endless compliments on our engagement and wedding photos, and are over the moon to with the quality and care that they put into our photos. Cimbalik Photography - a perfect duo!
Rob and Laura Cimbalik are too good to be true - they are kind, fun, professional, and produce absolutely stunning photography. From the beginning when we started planning our wedding we had great communication with them. They also go beyond photography - for instance they helped to ensure all details were in place on their part and coordinated with our other vendors. We cannot imagine our wedding day without Laura with her huge smile guiding our poses and taking our photos, with Rob behind the scenes snapping candids like a champ. We cannot recommend them more! -

Where do we even start with the Cimbalik’s!? Rob and Laura are such a joy to be around and they were absolute blessings on our wedding day! They have such fun energy and any photography session with them feels like you are just hanging out with your friends!
My husband and I have never taken any professional photographs and Rob and Laura were the perfect pair to show us how it’s done! They help teach you how to pose and coach you through the session and when you get your photos back you will be AMAZED!
They photograph with such a bright and vibrant color palate and they truly do capture your love story one photograph at a time! Rain or shine, Rob and Laura will be there to help you every step of the way! With planning, engagement photos, and any last minute-changes to your special day, they are quick to respond and will help in any way!

Beyond Happy
Hiring Rob and Laura to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we ever made. Planning a wedding is already stressful but during a pandemic it was beyond stressful. Not only were Rob and Laura with us through it all, they were so accommodating when it came down to changing our venue location two months before the wedding.
On our wedding day Rob and Laura were beyond amazing! They came on time, well prepared, and ready for our big day. Rob and Laura have a talent for capturing those special moments where you least expect it. They are great at capturing every little detail of your wedding, from the venue location right down to the center pieces. They are the most warm and welcoming couple and I can’t recommend them enough to anyone. I know that Cimbalik Photography will forever be our photographers for in the future once we decided to grow our family. -

Recently I had the opportunity to with Laura and Rob for some branding photos. I have worked along side Laura at weddings, previously, as another vendor, but it was a real treat to be able to actually work with them as the subject of their work. Their friendliness and professionalism are perfect. They laughed with us and played with us, and were so good at instructing our poses so we looked good. I think many people don’t realize how important it is to have a photographer that really watches their clients, and corrects their poses to be just right, and to make the subject look their best. I promise, it is an art form in and of itself. Laura and Rob made us all feel comfortable and confident in front of the lens, and I can’t wait to see what we get back. Breathtaking pictures
Rob & Laura Cimbalik have the experience, the talent and the capability to capture a moment in time. The pictures they took at our daughters Brundage Mountain top wedding were spectacular. They incorporated the beauty of the setting and the magic of the ceremony and delivered breathtaking pictures.
It seems like anyone with an iPhone considers themselves a photographer. Not so, it takes an eye for composition, a feel for lighting, an understanding of what can and cannot be done with your equipment and the the ability to relax and direct the subject to get a natural smile. Rob & Laura are very unassuming and disarming as they prepare their subjects. They also can be flexible and capture special moments that aren’t always planned. Right before our daughters ceremony at the top of Brundage Mountain, the resort lost power, stranding the father-of-the-bride and the bride on the ski lift. But instead of waiting for the ceremony to begin, since they were already set up, they grabbed their gear to capture all the fun that ensued. And 20 minutes later when the lift started up and delivered the bride and her dad, they were ready for the ceremony. During the ceremony didn’t impede the event, they captured it. No one had to look around them. I had very high exceptions for our daughters wedding photos, but I never expected the quality and quantity of what we received from Cimbalik. I’m sure I will be hiring them again for our next family event. Thank you, Laura & Rob

We hired Rob & Laura for our wedding in Fall 2019, and are so happy with the results! We selected them because of the timeless style and vibrant color throughout their portfolio, and they applied the same style to our engagement and wedding photos. They are delightful to work with - they made us comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. Both sessions with them were fun, and that's not something you can always say about taking photos. They were wonderful and personable with our families and wedding party, and very good at efficiently coordinating the various groups through the photo process. The photos we got back from our wedding are absolutely amazing, there are so many beautiful photos of us we don't know which ones to print and use in our home! Best photographers!
The Cimbalik’s were the absolute best, from taking our engagement photos to our wedding day! We couldn’t have asked for a better duo, Laura was with the bride and bridesmaids and Rob was with the groom and groomsmen while getting ready on the wedding day, it was perfect! They are so genuine, kind, professional and do AMAZING work. Amazing!
I don't even know where to start with how grateful and impressed my husband and I (and ALL of our friends are family) are of the Cimbaliks! They have allowed our incredible day to last forever. As a bride, they made me feel incredibly special and made the day all about my husband and I. They were easy going and made everything go smoothly. And those pictures! OH MY GOSH! Amazing!!!!! There is not enough positive words to describe Rob and Laura! We had the most magical wedding of all time and they captured every second of our happily ever after! Kind, patient, compassionate, happy, stress free, spontaneous (because if you saw our blog, we forgot my honey’s pants for the engagement shoot, and they just rolled with it)! I will forever and always recommend Cimbalik Photography to anyone!

Choosing Rob and Laura Cimbalik to photograph our wedding was the best decision we made! From the very first meeting, they were prepared, organized and so friendly. We felt like we had already known them for years, even though we just met. Our engagement session was so fun and the location they had in mind for us was perfect! In between the engagement session and the wedding day Laura kept in touch, helped us create our wedding timeline and answered all other wedding related questions that we had (she is a great resource for all things wedding!). During our wedding day, Laura and Rob were there on time and prepared for the day. I feel like they relieved some of the day of stress for us with their fun-loving personalities and laughter (especially with having a rainy day!). They were also fantastic at getting pictures of everything from the venue, decor, ceremony, and reception. We have photos of everyone that attended our wedding plus more! Rob and Laura are amazing people and photographers. Our guests and other vendors complimented us on how fun and easy they were to work and how they just fit into the party! The photos are SO BEAUTIFUL and we could not be happier with our decision! We will definitely be using Cimbalik for all our photo needs in the future. -

Emily Sent on 11/03/2016One thing I will forever look for in a photographer is that there is two! A husband an wife team is the smartest thing ever! Pictures of the bridal party getting ready were a breeze and the mix of close and far shots were amazing! The best part of my wedding was having cimbalik photography apart of it!
