Delicious and Beautiful!

We worked with Jennifer at Ciao Bella Cakes to design our wedding cake. She was so easy to work with and perfectly executed our vision. We went with orange creamsicle and white chocolate raspberry cheese cake as our flavors and they were absolutely delicious! Everyone raved about how yummy our cake was. Thank you, Jennifer!

Delicious!

Jennifer did our wedding cake, and I cannot give enough praise to the beauty and the taste. We had so many guests even days later ask us where the cake was from it was that good! Excellent Experience with Ciao Bella Cakes

Ciao Bella did an amazing job with our wedding cake on Oct 2 2021 at Nostalgia 1720! It was beautifully crafted with frosting designs and frosted roses. Most importantly it tasted so good and we got many compliments from our guests. Each tier was a different flavor that we got to customize at a fun cake tasting with Jennifer. Thank you so much Jennifer for being a reliable and excellent vendor to trust on our wedding day!

The Perfect Cake for the Perfect Day!

Amazing! We used Ciao Bella as the baker associated with our wedding package, and we have never heard of so many people loving the wedding cake so much. Jennifer was amazing from the get-go with the tasting. She worked with us and produced the absolute perfect cake (vanilla with chai!) for our wedding. It was gorgeous!

Best wedding cake ever!!

Jennifer was phenomenal. Hands down the best cake we’ve ever had! It looked stunning and she did exactly what we asked for flavors and filling. I might order another small version of it for my next family event because everyone loved it so much ! She also had so many other options that were delicious that we will be coming back for :) Highly recommended!!

The Best Cake I've Ever Had

I had a reception guest count of 110. We ordered a three tier cake as well as an assortment of pastries/desserts. They were so delicious, the treats were disappearing from the table the moment they were put on it. I was blown away! I had a very specific vision for my cake design and Jennifer took it on without hesitation and executed it beautifully. I cannot recommend this bakery enough!

Beautiful and delicious!

Jennifer did an amazing job with our wedding cake and mini desserts! We had a vanilla cake with raspberry mousse that our guests are still raving about! We heard from all of our friends and family that it was the BEST cake they had ever had at a wedding! In addition, Jennifer executed my dream cake design perfectly! We had an amazing experience working with Jennifer and look forward to working with her again (for whatever occasion we can use as an excuse to be enjoying one of her cakes)!

Delicious and beautiful!

Our cake came out exactly how we wanted it to look (based on a picture I had shown Ciao Bella) but more importantly, it was totally delicious... and I usually think wedding cakes are dry. We went with two tiers of lemon cake with vanilla icing and two tiers of chocolate cannoli cake -- I can't recommend the chocolate cannoli enough! Jennifer was also wonderful to work with, very sweet (we had a lot of fun at our tasting!) and flexible when our wedding was postponed due to covid. Please do yourself a favor and book Ciao Bella for your wedding cake!

Delicious!

Our cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious! I'm honestly not a huge cake person most of the time, but I would have eaten this entire 4-tier cake if I could have - it was THAT GOOD! My wife and I already can't wait for our 1 year anniversary so we can eat the top tier! Highly recommend Ciao Bella Cakes!

Most beautiful and delicious wedding cake

My daughter wanted to design an Ombré wedding cake and chose Ciao Bella to make her dream cake. Not only did they create the beautiful tiered cake of her dreams, but it was the most delicious cake we have ever had. Each tier alternated flavors and fillings, and the ombré floral design along with the icing was a masterpiece of beauty. Ciao also created a 50th Wedding Anniversary Cake with such wonderful flavor and beauty. I highly recommend Ciao Bella as the best!

Wedding cake and cupcakes!!

Everyone loves the desserts. We had a sweets table with cupcakes and a variety of desserts. We also had a two tier cake of two different flavors. It was all amazing and the desserts all went!!

Best wedding cake I've ever had!

Jennifer at Ciao Bella was a pleasure to work with. She worked with us on timing, and in creating the perfect cake for our wedding day. The cake was beautiful, and was one of the best wedding cakes I think I've ever tasted. We had two different flavors, chocolate with dark chocolate ganache filling, and a vanilla cake with a raspberry cheesecake filling. Both flavors were cooked well, were moist, and everyone enjoyed them.

Fantastic Cake and service!

The cake was delicious and beautiful! Meetings were stress free and enjoyable and I was so pleased with the end result after providing pictures of styles I liked! I would recommend this bakery and baker to anyone- she did a wonderful job and we were very pleased with the final result!

absolutely delicious and gorgeous cake!

Our wedding cake was absolutely amazing! It was stunning and went so well with our theme- cream and golds with an elegant look. They had such a variety of flavors to choose from- it was hard for my husband and I to pick! We chose vanilla buttercream with a peanut butter mousse. It was INCREDIBLE!! All our guests could not stop raving about the cake. We cannot wait to eat it on our one year anniversary!!

Wonderful!

We were very happy that our venue partnered with Ciao Bella for our cake. The tasting was fun. We were surprised that our favorite flavor was the orange cream - so much so that we made that our top tier to take home for our anniversary cake. Tangy orange flavor but not artificial tasting and Not too sweet, just the right amount of frosting. We asked for a.simple design of white frosting with a ribbon around the bottom tiers and fresh flowers provided by our florist, so I can't attest to the decorating skill. But we were very happy with our experience here overall.

Simply put... Amazing.

I couldn't be happier with Ciao Bella. My cake was exactly what I asked for and was even more delicious! Our guests have even told us it was the best wedding cake they had had. I don't disagree... and this is coming from someone who didn't even want a cake at their wedding. I am so happy I listened to the groom and I am so happy that we went with Ciao Bella. Our cake was gorgeous - we did a semi-naked 4-tiered cake with buttercream frosting and two flavors: vanilla + fresh strawberries and salted caramel. Both flavors were delicious and we got a lot of compliments from our guest on how beautiful and tasty our cake was.

We decided to have a cupcake tower. I told Jennifer what my vision was and she completely brought it to life. Not only was the presentation beautiful but the cupcakes were delicious! She also boxed us up a separate anniversary cake. I highly recommend if you are looking for a cake for any occasion!

We surprised my daughter and son-in-law with a Star Trek Groom's cake. I couldn't believe how nice the cake came out, complete with lights! Just a wonderful experience. They also did my daughter's wedding cake and again it was beautiful. I highly recommend Jennifer and Ciao Bella Cakes! I wish I could attach a picture.

After booking Ciao Bella for our wedding, we also used their services for my husband's birthday cake and my bridal shower. At those events and even more so, at our wedding this passed Sunday, the cake exceeded our expectations on both taste and delivery. Everyone was raving over the lightness of the cake and the flavors. Jen was an absolute pleasure to work with. I plan on continuing my business with this bakery for future events as well. Love them! I highly recommend this bakery!

We worked with Jennifer to make the cake for our wedding. She did a tasting for us to decide on flavors and we were blown away by how good everything was. Not only were the flavor amazing but the cakes and the fillings were so light ..... nothing like what'd you expect from a catered cake. We went with two flavors vanilla cake with Tahitian cream and chocolate cake with salted caramel mousse. Every guest raved about the cake and many thought it was so good, they had to try both flavors! Jennifer even worked with our florist because the florist did the final decorations on the cake. She was absolutely a pleasure to deal with.

Our cake was included with our package from the Lambertville Station Inn. We only spent about 40 dollars to upgrade our cake to a fresh strawberry and cream flavor and lemon cream flavor (1/2 of each). We did a cake tasting and all of the cakes were great! They weren't dried out and they didn't have weird icing like a lot of wedding cakes do. We liked it so much that we dug into our frozen "anniversary cake" when we got back from our honeymoon!

We used Ciao Bella as part of our venue package. It was easy to schedule a tasting and to see design upgrades in person. Great service and wide variety of cake designs to select as standard, or in our case an upgrade. The standard cake is amazing in design and taste but we wanted extra detail for our Fall wedding theme. Final cake presentation of 5 tier cake with separate layers (vanilla v. chocolate) to accommodate different guests was perfect in taste and design. We certainly would use them for another party cake design in the future.

Our cake was almost too beautiful to eat (although I’m glad we did. It was delicious!) Our wedding had an autumn theme, and the Ciao Bella team incorporated fall foliage as well as our initials carved into the “bark” made of icing. All of our guests were taking pictures! We sprung for spice cake with cream cheese frosting and it was the best decision.

Jennifer was super easy to work with, our consultation was quick and painless, and the cake was DELICIOUS! Our cake came included in our wedding package at Lambertville Station Inn and it was by far the easiest part of the wedding planning process. After our consultation Jennifer just sent us a quick summary of our choices and we didn't have to worry about a thing! The cake was beautiful and everyone raved about how moist and flavorful it was. Our wedding venue provides the cake in our package and they have a contract with Jennifer and Ciao Bella. We can see why! From the professional cake tasting (we can't pick them all?!) to providing us with what we wanted (a cake and cupcakes)....they were delicious! Light, moist and NOTHING like the dense, boxed cake taste of most wedding cakes. Phenomenal! What a pleasure to deal with Ciao Bella and Jennifer! We would absolutely use them again!

Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect. We could not have been happier with it!

Setting up the tasting appointment was very easy. Jennifer and Denise communicate well over email. We were given five options to taste, but they had many more we could choose from. We had a vanilla cake with vanilla filling alternating with vanilla cake and chocolate filling and buttercream frosting. Normally, wedding cake is not that good. That is not the case at all with Ciao Bella. The cake was light and airy. We received tons of compliments on the taste from our guests.

Jennifer said that she could create the cake to look like whatever we wanted. I emailed Jennifer and Denise photos of other wedding cakes I liked the look of, and the cake they delivered was spot on.

Our caterer Karen Spire uses Ciao Bella and a basic cake is included in the contract. They give you a taste test to choose your flavors and photos to choose your design. They can create whatever you like but there will be an additional cost for tiers and creativity. Our cake was perfect, exactly what we wanted, moist and delicious.

Jennifer was incredibly helpful doing several sketches for us to consider so we could visualize the cake design. The tasting experience was fun and the cake fantastic the day of the wedding. Ciao Bella Cakes was initially recommended to us by our wedding venue, and their work exceeded our expectations. Ciao Bella designed our wedding cake - and it was perfect! I was very no fuss about how our cake looked - I just wanted it to taste great! They drew a few designs for me to capture the feel of the wedding, and I loved how it turned out! And, the cake was delicious. We ended up eating half of the top tier the week after the wedding - and froze the other half! It was too good to wait a year for! I have already used Ciao Bella again since our wedding day and will be using them for all of my cakes going forward! I absolutely will recommend them to everyone I know!

We live out of state, so we had to work via email, and Jennifer was very responsive and great to work with throughout the process despite this challenge. The cake that was delivered on our wedding day was exactly the same as the sample picture I sent to her. We were too busy dancing and talking to our guests during the cake service, so we missed the cake. But we heard nothing but rave reviews from all of the guests who were lucky enough to get their slices. Everyone said it was delicious!

Loved loved loved Ciao Bella!!! Super easy to communicate with and really friendly. Most importantly she is fantastic at what she does.

We wanted a tower of cupcakes for our wedding with a top tier cake to be able to cut into at the wedding. It was decorated beautifully and tasted soooo good!!!

We saved a piece of the top layer (chocolate cake with white chocolate buttercream and peanut butter filling) to eat on our year anniversary and to my surprise the cake tasted just as good as it did at the wedding.

I just wish I had more of it now!!!

Ciao Bella is the best! Stefanie was a dream to work with. We had a tasting and booked her on the spot. She made a four-tiered wedding cake for us with two flavors: chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling, and yellow cake with layers of lemon buttercream and raspberry. They were two perfect options for our guests at our late summer wedding. She also made a NY Giants helmet groom's cake and managed to help keep it a surprise for the groom. I was so relieved to meet Stefanie and taste her awesome cake. I run my own little cupcake business as a side venture and I knew all of my guests would be expecting awesome cake, but I also knew I wouldn't be able to bake for my own wedding. We did things out of order and did our cake first. We looked at our options through our venue and Ciao Bella was the only one that looked like a fun bakery that wouldn't do our typical cake. After our meeting I fell in love with our baker and the cake she had designed. On our wedding day it was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I had my reception at the Villanova Conference Center and my cake was included in my package, provided I select one of two bakers they recommended.

My parents, fiance and I visited the other bakery, which I won't name here, first. Essentially, they ignored us, the cake was dry and when I asked for a specific detail on the cake, they were rude and quick to tell me it couldn't be done.

Then, we visited Stefanie at Ciao Bella. She was the complete opposite in every way. First, she was extremely accommodating. We were very late for our appointment, as it was the weekend after Hurricane Sandy and we had travel issues. Stefanie saw us at the very end of her day, never rushed us and went through all of our options in great detail and with patience, upfront about any extras that we would need to pay for that went beyond our package. She truly cares about her customers, and her work. Most importantly, the cake samples were delicious. Also, when I asked Stefanie about the same detail I had asked the other baker about (I had wanted to incorporate the same flowers that appeared on the sleeves of my dress onto the cake), she immediately came up with suggestions for how it could be done.

After our first meeting, she sent sketches of three different cakes. All were beautiful. On the day of our wedding, when I saw the cake we had selected, it was perfect. The detail on the cake matched my dress perfectly. And, again, it tasted great!

In summary, I believe that even if I could have chosen from all of the bakers in the Philadelphia area, Stefanie would still have been my first choice. Highly recommend!

I had my reception on the Spirit of Philadelphia and by default Ciao Bella was the bakery that would provide my wedding cake. I was a bit nervous about not being able to pick my own cake baker but was extremely happy when I went in for the cake tasting and saw her designs. I was a pain in the butt and changed my original design after I had told her it was ok and Stefanie was completely understanding and sent me a new sketch soon after. The cake was beautiful and most importantly, delicious! All my guests loved it! My husband and I didn't get to eat a whole slice ourselves b/c we were so busy so we were very tempted to eat our top tier the next day instead of waiting one whole year! they were great!

My friend's birthday was coming up and I wanted to surprise her with a specially designed birthday cake. Having worked with Ciao Bella recently for my wedding cake, I knew Stefanie would be the first person I went to! We asked for a round birthday cake, with coconut-vanilla cake and lemon buttercream filling. Our friend loves rabbits, and we asked Stefanie if she could incorporate a bunny and flowers. Words cannot do this cake justice! Not only was the cake beyond yummy, but it looked amazing as well! Stefanie built a very cute bunny coming out of the cake, with it's head and floppy ears on top of the cake and it's feet coming out the side of the cake! Our friends were blown away! I'll be coming back to Ciao Bella for many years to come for all of my special event and birthday cakes!

Ciao Bella made our wedding cake and it was fantastic. We had them make a special cake for us - it was shaped to look like a mountain with a ski slope on it. Ciao Bella provided us with multiple options for how the cake could look at different price points so that we could pick the look we wanted and consider our budget at the same time. It turned out fantastic and not only did we love it but our guests did as well. My husband was thrilled with how it looked (as was I) but I was more happy with how it tasted. Ciao Bella had great options for the cake flavors as well as the fillings/icing. Ciao Bella was a pleasure to work with for our wedding cake. They were professional, patient, and kind. I would definitely recommend Ciao Bella to anyone needing a wonderful tasting and wonderful looking cake for their wedding or other special event.

Our wedding cake was the most delicious cake I've ever eaten!!! And the design was exactly what I described to Stefanie at our tasting. She's an incredible baker.

Stephanie was a joy to work with. When i seen my cake on my wedding day it was exactly what i invisioned!! The cake was soo delicious also my friends and family were raving about how great it tasted. Will definently use Ciao Bella agian for other occassions!!

Stefanie did a fantastic job on our wedding cake! The cake topper fell off of our cake and fell down the side before the ceremony started but Stefanie came back and fixed everything! The cake was perfect, and we had an unusual cake. It tasted great as well! I would definitely recommend her to a friend!

Stefanie was very flexible with her availability to meet up to go over flavors, and the cake turned out exactly as we had hoped! All of our guests had great things to say about the appearance and taste of the cake. My wife and I definitely recommend her!

Stefanie was extremely responsive from my very first email. She was fun to work with and produced a fantastic product. Our cake arrived hours before the wedding, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The cake was delicious and beautiful. Everyone raved about it!

Our cake, besides being exactly what I wanted it to look like, was also VERY delicious! Stefanie was amazing to work with, and made sure that my cake was exactly what I had wanted. She also gave me great tips about what would work with what pertaining to my cake. I was able to pick from different designs that she drew up just for me after meeting with me to figure out what I was thinking and for a taste testing. All I had to do was meet with her ONCE, and then she emailed me my personal cake designs. Not only did she email me, but she emailed me quickly making it so easy!

Many people at my reception were asking where the cake was from because it was so delicious! What more can you want in your wedding cake, but for it to be beautiful AND delicious! I highly recommend Ciao Bella Cakes. You won't regret it!

Ciao Bella did an excellent job with our wedding cake. The tasting was fun and delicious, and the designs are beautiful. Stephanie was proactive in letting us know if we owed her any information, so we hardly had to think about the cake. And when it showed up on the wedding day, it was perfect and delicious!

Of all the wedding vendors, Ciao Bella was the only vendor who took the intiative to contact me before the wedding! They were wonderful:)

INCREDIBLE!!

It took me so long to settle on my baker (literally, we booked Stefanie less than 2 months before our wedding!) but something kept bringing me back to Ciao Bella Cakes' website. I just thought every cake looked perfect. After we met with Stefanie, and tried a few of her delicious flavors, I knew I had made the right choice. She sent me a drawing of what she had come up with for our cake, and I loved it. The day of the wedding, we got to see the cake before the ceremony, and it was PERFECT! It was EXACTLY like the drawing she sent me! We had chosen red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream and raspberry preserves, and chocolate truffle with chocolate buttercream. I love red velvet, but I actually preferred the chocolate truffle on the day of the wedding (luckily I got a piece of both!!). It tasted like heaven!! I would truly recommend Ciao Bella Cakes to anyone!!
