My husband and I have been visiting the Chrysler Museum for years. We had one of our first dates there and we’ve had the opportunity to visit with friends and family numerous times. On a given weekend day, if we’re in Norfolk with no set plans, we drop in to see the different permanent and temporary exhibitions. This is our spot; so it was the perfect setting for our marriage celebration. Huber Court is a beautiful ceremony and reception location, and the Ancient Worlds and Porcelain Galleries made for a unique cocktail hour for our guests. We appreciated, too, having wide access to the museum and museum grounds for photographs prior to the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. We were able to take some truly epic photos – just us and with our wedding party, parents, and siblings. We loved it.

The Chrysler Museum was such a romantic and beautiful venue for our wedding. Jennifer and Gabby were attentive, communicative, and accommodating, helping to create an unforgettable experience for us.

We had our wedding here a month ago & I will tell you we fell in love with the venue the first day we visited. This venue is beautiful, there are so many beautiful views for you & for your guests. We loved being able to provide our guests with cocktail hour in the art gallery so they could all be able to enjoy some of the artwork as well. Gabrielle & Jennifer were both a pleasure to work with from the very beginning all the way through til the end. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I could not have been happier with our choice of venue being the Chrysler Museum of Art! Absolutely gorgeous building inside and out with the added bonus of having stunning artwork throughout! Our guests were blown away by the atmosphere and experience made possible there! Having the entire building to ourselves for our special event was amazing! The museum provided everything we were looking for in a venue and more! From the Bridal Suite, Groomsmen Room, Wedding Hall, and endless areas for photo ops... it was perfect!

If you are looking for the best place to host your wedding in Norfolk, you found it! I am a professional DJ and I work several wedding events here every year along with my colleagues and already have some lined up for next year. Before this year is over, I wanted to take the time and share with all review readers how grateful I am for the opportunity to be able to collaborate with such a great venue and the talented team that makes magic happen every time I am there. They communicate well with vendors, everything is always clean and looks amazing, and the layout options are awesome. Amber was so helpful from the beginning to the end of our wedding experience. She was always responsive, professional, and helpful!! I couldn’t have chosen a better venue because of the amazing staff!!

Walking into the Chrysler I knew it would be the perfect setting for the vision I was looking to have for my wedding. It was the perfect backdrop for both the ceremony and reception. So many beautiful locations for pictures. It was very unique to have the gallery open during cocktail hour for my guest and they all loved it! I would highly recommend this venue. The staff was very professional and accommodating to my vision!

Fabulous venue!!! It was like a fairy tale come to life. Our daughter wanted an Italian garden feel in a villa. And she definitely got that. The staff were professional and incredibly friendly.

I could not have pictured a more beautiful setting for my wedding than the The Chrysler Museum. I wanted a romantic, unique setting for our big day and the museum was absolutely perfect. Not only are the spaces gorgeous, but that staff is wonderful as well. Everyone at the museum is so kind and easy to work with. They really go above and beyond to ensure your day goes off without a hitch. Our guests were seriously blown away by the museum and we received SO many compliments. Thank you Mary, Danny, the security team, and everyone else who worked so hard to ensure we had the most magical day!

Chrysler Museum of Art was my dream venue and I am still so happy my husband and I were able to have our wedding there. Mary was great throughout the entire process and even helped with rehearsal when my DOC wasn't there and I didn't know they needed to be there. The museum really knows how to run a wedding and ensure things go smoothly which of course makes it much less stressful for the bride and groom! The museum also includes so much with the facility rental they really are a great value!

Wow, what a stunning venue! I could not be happier with my decision to get married at the Chrysler Museum of Art. The entire staff is so professional and accommodating, I enjoyed every interaction with them! My guests truly had a blast at cocktail hour in one of the art galleries and were pleasantly surprised with the transformation of Huber Court from the ceremony to the reception. Everything went off without a hitch! I would highly recommend the Chrysler Museum of Art to any bride looking for an astonishing venue with an amazing staff!!

The best venue for a wedding hands down. Beautiful facility. Very friendly staff. Highly highly recommended. Has the option of outdoor cocktail and indoor reception which is very unique. Would even recommend this venue for out of state people interested.

The Chrysler museum of art was an absolutely amazing venue. The staff were very professional and extremely friendly. Elise Hemler and Mary were the best. And although they could not be there the night of my wedding Sandy was superb. They assured that everything ran smoothly and catered to our every need.

I knew from the first time I ever saw the Chrysler Museum of Art that it would be the location of my wedding. It is such a stunning venue that doesn't require much decor and has great places to get some amazing photos! I was so convinced that I didn't even go to tour any other venues and I was not disappointed! If you are looking for a classy and sophisticated wedding location that will impress even the pickiest of guests, look no further!

Not only was the venue itself amazing, but the staff was a joy to work with. Mary and Elise did an amazing job at explaining all of the particular information about the venue and ensuring everything went smoothly on the planning side, and Danny was an awesome event manager the night of the wedding who was very pleasant to work with and helpful the entire night. You can tell this staff loves what they do and truly cares about their brides.

Along with the wedding day, you get to use the facility for bridal portraits as well on a day that the museum is closed. That sealed the deal for me and my bridal portraits came out amazing due to the gorgeous back drop of the museum. They let you into some areas of the museum they typically don't the day of the wedding and really let you take advantage of the museum feel for your portraits.

Go tour this venue first and save yourself some time. You will fall in love instantly!

The Chrysler offered a timeless, classic, unique and elegant venue space - on top of that, Mary and the event team was incredibly accommodating, flexible, and so fun to work with. For all prospective brides: the chairs, tables, china, and silver that comes with the space are some of the best in the area, and with the rest of the space being a "shell," The Chrysler allows you to truly craft your dream day - even down to the lighting! I highly recommend choosing The Chrysler to celebrate your special day - it was the perfect choice for us!

The Chrysler Museum is an INCREDIBLE venue. We were so pleased with their overall service that we've already recommended the museum to several couples with upcoming weddings. The only thing we were leery of was a required vendor for catering. That being said, the caterer was FANTASTIC - often doing more than other vendors contracted specifically to do that work. Mary and Elise are so easy to work with, it's like you're not working at all.

The Chrysler Museum is a beautiful venue that can't be topped! Everybody there was wonderful to work with. There ARE extra expenses involved there; you have to have a coordinator for the day, at least; you will probably want to do lighting; you have to purchase liability insurance. You can save money by supplying your own alcohol, but you have to use the museum's caterer, which is Cuisine and Company, and they are fantastic. If you have your wedding at the Chrysler Museum, you will be very, very happy!

Our experience at the Chrysler Museum could not have gone smoother, and their staff is the reason why! Beyond the elegant atmosphere and tranquil setting, Elise made our preparation incredibly easy and was so gracious in helping us get ready for our big day. Thanks again for everything!

Having our wedding at the Chrysler Museum was a GREAT choice. The architecture alone is a huge selling point, the staff are all great (Mary, Elise & Danny). Overall we are very happy that we chose this venue.

Chrysler Museum is the best venue in Hampton Roads for a formal or semi-formal wedding. The ambiance is amazing, the photo opportunities plentiful, and space itself is dynamic and interesting. The event staff were fantastic and beyond helpful and made for a well choreographed and coordinated event.

There are two points to consider when choosing the Chrysler. First, you will need to use quality vendors with experience at Chrysler. They have many (but reasonable) rules that vendors must understand and adhere to; after all it's a museum full of valuable artwork. These quality vendors were never the lowest-cost option; but they were the best of the best and many were found on the preferred vendor list provided by Chrysler. Second, the design of the museum is such that a DJ is needed if only for the sound equipment. The vaulted ceilings create acoustic challenges that a quality DJ must overcome. Choosing vendors familiar with Chrysler meant we did very little and let the professionals work their magic and a magical experience it was!

In sum, our event was amazing, the food incredible, the wine tasting a hit. The space was a sight to behold when lit up with colorful LED uplights, beautiful linens, and draping, with the symphony quartet and DJ serenading us through the evening. Did I mention that nothing can beat our first look in a beautiful gallery? Or, our grand entrance atop the staircase in Huber Court? If I had only one wish....is that we could do it all over again. It was our dream come true.

Chrysler Museum of Art (CMA) was the first of many venues we considered for our wedding, but we quickly noted that we were comparing any other place visited to The Chrysler. We already loved the museum, its galleries, exhibits, and glass collection, and we were able to envision a stunning ceremony and reception in Huber Court. The exclusivity with Cuisine & Co. as caterer was made known to us, so we set up a meeting with Cassie at their office to make sure we were comfortable with them; we were confident they were going to cater the affair well and take care of us, so we committed to the CMA. We could not be happier with our decision! The location was convenient to our home and to downtown hotels for our traveling guests, the grounds provided several lovely spots for engagement and wedding photos, and the day-of staff, security, and point man Danny helped everything flow smoothly. Not to mention how magical Huber Court looks and feels! We opted to contract with a company to have uplighting for the columns and our favorite florist to provide elegant but modern and simple centerpieces, and the space just pops. And our guests really enjoyed the cocktail hour being held in the Ancient Worlds gallery. It was nice that all events could occur under one roof; once our guests arrived they could relax and enjoy. Mary Collins and Elise Hemler were wonderful contacts, even assuring that one specific (reasonable) request we had was granted. We had an absolutely spectacular wedding at Chrysler Museum of Art, and we wouldn’t change a thing! – Heather and Michael

Chrysler Museum of Art was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. The moment we walked in to Huber Court, we knew we had to have our wedding reception there! We were married at the Chrysler Museum May 31, 2014, following the renovations. It was absolutely breathtaking! All of the vendors were amazing to work with and Mary is so sweet and helpful. I couldn't imagine a more beautiful place to get married.

The Chrysler Museum, Mary Collins, and the staff were such a pleasure to work with. After looking at all the venues in Hampton Roads suitable for our wedding, we knew we could not pass up the opportunity to work with Mary Collins at the Chrysler Museum of Art. The Chrysler allowed for the best options rain or shine for a September wedding in Virginia. Between the courtyard, the galleries, and the gardens, there is an amazing array of options for your wedding day.
We chose to have our Ceremony inside, Cocktail Hour outside in Mary’s Garden, and our Reception back inside the Courtyard. Due to impending weather, we made a decision at 4:00pm to move the cocktail hour inside to the Ancient Worlds Gallery, which turned out to be absolutely amazing and a huge hit with our guests. The Chrysler Museum allowed for that flexibility 2 ½ hours before the wedding started.
Mary answered any questions and accommodated all requests that were in reason. She even allowed us to come see another ceremony setup for another wedding just to get an idea of how it would look. That ceremony and ours were simply amazing in the museum. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue, and more wonderful staff to work with for our wedding. Thank you for making our wedding day so perfect!

We had both our ceremony and reception at Chrysler. I couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous venue. More importantly, Mary and her staff were incredible in making sure our day was absolutely perfect.

The venue was my dream venue and was more beautiful than I had imagined the night of. It needs minimal lighting and minimal decor because it is already so amazing.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect! From the venue, to all of our vendors, we could not have been more pleased!

The Chrysler museum is an absolutely fantastic location for a wedding. We chose it based on the unique features and it just took our breath away! I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for something unique yet timeless. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we weren't able to take pictures in the art galleries, but it's not that big of a deal - there's more than enough other opportunities around the museum!

We had an incredible experience having our wedding at the Chrysler. Their spaces are stunning and worked really well for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. All of our guests loved everything about the museum. The staff was very easy to work with throughout and made the coordination process stress free. Overall this venue was absolutely stunning. The ambiance that it provides is nothing short of magical. With a beautiful staircase and large space that fits well over 150 guests, this place is worth it if you're looking for that Bridgerton, cinderella, or gala vibe. The staff was responsive and able to answer any questions you may have. For the price, this venue should be high on your list. All in all, you have access to the entire foyer area and have the option to rent additional spaces if you are hosting a large crowd. Additionally, they host your cocktail hour within the art exhibits which was a very unique touch to the event. There is a bridal suite and an area for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. When you reserve this space they do offer a one-hour photography session that you will need to use before your event, but that is an option if you are looking to do an engagement shoot or photos for your save the dates/invites. The venue also provides security which is a nice added measure for your wedding day.

Now here are some things to take note of when choosing the Chrysler. When booking with the Chrysler Museum, they have a preferred vendor list that you can use to help with your vendor choices and they give you some flexibility to pick others outside that list as long as they can provide some required info to the museum. The ONLY exception is Catering. You are REQUIRED to use TASTE Unlimited Catering, as they have exclusive rights to catering at this venue. We would highly recommend that you get a direct quote from TASTE, you are given a rough ballpark from the staff at the museum, but there many additional things that are not taken into consideration that will be a part of your quote. Another additional cost with this venue is uplighting and possibly pin spots. The Museum warned us about the potential cost of the catering and lighting, but it would have saved us a lot of sticker shock later down the line if we got a generic quote or seen a previous catering quote from a similar-sized wedding before signing the contract. In the end, I was able to have the perfect wedding day and we were able to pay for everything. I just wanted to share some tips/ honest perspectives so the next engaged couple will know what to expect and all of the potential costs associated with this venue.

This venue is absolutely incredible. The building and art added a whole level of class and entertainment throughout the wedding. Amber was wonderful to work with and extremely helpful. We had the best day ever and this location played a huge part in that.

We knew as soon as we stepped into the doors and saw all of the beautiful natural light coming down from the enormous sky lights shining on the stairs and marble lobby floor, that this was the place! Working with Michael and Mary was a breeze, they host hundreds of weddings a year so things ran smoothly with no hiccups. The entire Chrysler team was professional, and courteous. Unfortunately our reception was cut short by 3 hours due to Hurricane Hermine, and we were't able to secure any discount or refund as this was due to weather. The Chrysler did allow us to take our photographs (originally planned for the gardens and out front) upstairs with the exhibits which produced very beautiful and unique photographs! All in all, the guests raved about the venue, it was as beautiful as we expected and a truly memorable day.

Working with Elise to get the perfect date was so easy. We got very lucky with a cancellation on labor day weekend and were able to save money by doing it on a Sunday. We knew Huber court was the setting of our dream wedding and Elise made sure we got what we wanted. Huber Court is BREATHTAKING, you don't have to do anything with it, it just speaks for itself. Amazing! It is totally worth the price.

Venue was wonderful. Huber Court was just beautiful. The staff was very cooperative and accommodating. Our family was very satisfied.

(Our only disappointment was the inability of our guests to hear well. The acoustics/sound system wasn't the best. We hired the recommended DJ just to announce things, but that just didn't quite work out.

I only wish they were bigger to accommodate more people! The place is beautiful. As little decoration or as much as you want. But the museum is gorgeous enough to stand on its own!

Mary at the Chrysler is your go to person! She not only helped with our event details at the museum but also helped us get into contact with potential vendors when we weren't able to reach them. Mary constantly goes the extra mile to keep clients happy! We were able to see the museum during the renovations and she helped us to visualize the final product and think of how we would integrate the beautiful aesthetics of the museum with our money. You don’t need to do too much, because the museum is beautiful already. The only downfall is that you must have a coordinator with a valid business license. This was an added cost that I felt was kind of unnecessary because there are a lot of brides that are very organized on their own and a lot of people can handle the job of coordinating a wedding who may not have a business license (i.e. your family member or church coordinator). Overall our day was amazing and the beautiful venue added that special touch.

The only detail of my wedding I had ever planned before I got engaged was to get married the the Chrysler Museum. Everything ended up being more gorgeous than I could have imagined! I got loads of comments on how amazing and unique guests found the location. If you don't mind the museum limitations (and curve balls that may come from traveling exhibits), this is the most amazing place to get married in the area.

It was a bit stressful that they were scheduled to be closed for renovations until two months before the wedding. It was frustrating that every time we asked about the re-opening we were told not to worry, everything would be fine, and then the re-opening was pushed back to two weeks before the wedding. There wasn't anything that could be done about it but Mary, our contact at the museum, did a pretty good job of fielding my parents panic. I'm sure they weren't giving her updates on the renovations as weddings are not their top priority (it is a museum). However, I thought Mary did the best she could with what information she had.

I did get notice of the giant inflatable duck sculpture two months before the wedding. The amount of people that came to see it did limit our access to other gardens and galleries for pictures but that's what happens when you get married at a museum.

PRO: gorgeous and unique setting; indoor and outdoor options in one; rental includes chairs, tables, dishes, and flatware; friendly staff (will try to accommodate you as best they can within museum limitations)

CON: no candles; no red wine at cocktail hour; limitations on time (must be after closing); changing limitations due to exhibits; exclusive caterer deal (everything was great but if you have your heart set on something other than Cuisine & Co. you would have to choose)

If the limitations don't deter you, you should absolutely get married here!

Gorgeous! The staff is very professional. Mia Byrd was very helpful. I was planning a wedding out of town and had to communicate mostly via e-mail. She usually responded right away. We didn't have any problems. They have a great preferred vendor list. Dina with Cuisine and Company did a great job. Everyone said it was the prettiest wedding reception they've ever been to. You can rent out the entire museum for the night for an extra $1,000.00 We opted not to b/c we wanted to keep everyone in the same area so we could celebrate with them. There are some small catches. You do have to use their caterer - Cuisine and Company - but they're great. They may cost a little more than some others, but there's a reason. The food is great and so is the service. Chrysler has a preferred vendor list and if you use some one not on that list - you have to give them proof that that person/vendor has a business license and insurance up to a certain amount, so you couldn't save money by having Grandma do your flowers unless she was literally a pro. You can't serve or carry red wine in Huber Court unless you pay $500.00. My guests didn't seem to notice or complain we had 2 full bars and no red wine. Also, the 'Norfolk Keels' (sp?) don't come down. The colored tarps hanging from the rafters are 'works of art' and will not be taken down for your wedding. I didn't mind - it was still beautiful and added more color to our reception. We were worried about having a band there with the acoustics, but it wasn't a problem at all. I highly recommend visiting their website and watching the wedding video and looking at the wedding album. It will give you goosebumps. Then visit the museum. It's even better in person!

The Chrysler Museum was awesome! I highly recommend this venue. It made my wedding day everything I dreamed of and more. The day of staff was professional and great. The had dressing rooms with mirrors and lighting. We were able to drop all of our decor and day of items off the night before. They made sure we had what we needed, one escorted us (I think her name is Darcy) through the museum and was an absolute delight. At the end of the night they were very complimentary. I had one issue with not having access to the piano during the ceremony. At the end of the day, everything else was so perfect that I could totally overlook that issue. We highly recommend these vendors: Stage Right Lighting, Cuisine and Company for catering (no other option expensive but great service and super tasty food), Vizink Weddings for videography, Keith Cephus Photography, and DJ Rob Stacks. We also used their preferred vendor Pearl Taylor from Uniquely Yours for wedding coordination. I would not recommend her. She was unprofessional and rude the day of the wedding. The Chrysler Museum is hands down one of the best wedding venues in VA.

This location was my first and ONLY choice for a wedding/reception. They were amazing. It was odd having security escort us around but I completely understand why. Plus they were very accommodating. Be aware that their closing time is VERY strict. There is no lingering after your reception time is over. HIGHLY recommend

The Chrysler was a really gorgeous venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. We got so many compliments on the space, and several vendors told us it's the best place in the area to get married. We had a paperwork mix-up with the Chrysler early on, but once that was resolved, things went smoothly. And on the day of the wedding, everything ran like clockwork, and there was a team of people to make sure everything was going well! It was impressive to see!

This Venue was so beautiful! The event coordinators were very responsive and helpful. We had our wedding towards the end of July so it’s really hot and humid in VA. We were told that that the doors will open for our guests at 6pm but if it’s too hot outside, they would open the doors early. We had elderly guest who were waiting outside the doors in the heat. We had the venue until 1130pm.
Towards the end of the night, the security officer made a loud unprofessional comment stating “if you’re here pass 11:30, we will charge you extra.” She could’ve easily handed either my husband or myself a mic to announce that it was time to close up shop.
Otherwise, it’s a beautiful venue.

The art museum was beautiful and had all the right elements of a beautiful wedding and reception. My only negative against them would be they do have several rules against what you can and cannot do. Very understandable considering all the valuables but just be sure to ask all questions before signing a contact.

We couldn't have picked a better venue. We had both our ceremony & reception here! The special events team is wonderful here. They help ensure your wedding goes flawlessly and they are very professional. Everyone kept saying how beautiful the venue was & how they enjoyed cocktail hour being indoors in the museum. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was how we were basically "pushed out" of the museum. They aren't playing when they say everyone needed to be out at 11:30pm. We had our things in the changing room and at the end of the night, they had all our things in the hallway just thrown around. Right before our send off, I was having to rummage through everything to find what belonged to me before I got into our limo. If they were in the room, we would have easily found what was ours. Since then, we have been missing a couple of items that were in that room prior to the wedding. Other than that, we would recommend the Chrysler, as they really know how to run a wedding smoothly. You don't need much to decorate that place since the museum is already beautiful!

Overall, I had a great experience dealing with the CMA. My point of contact changed a few times but within a day or two I was always recontacted by someone to answer my questions. The CMA offers an absolute beautiful space for a wedding/reception, however, I did an all in one wedding where the ceremony and reception were set up together, solely using the Huber Court, so it would have been great receiving a slight discount for that. All in all, it was beautiful and I thank each CMA representative.

The perfect venue! It was breathtaking!!! We could not believe it was our reception when we arrived!!! This museum is magical and offered so much to our guests! The caterer is phenomenal (see my review of Cuisine and Co) and my guests are still talking about the food, layout and how quickly everyone was fed!!! When we look at our pictures, we are reminded that we had a fairytale setting for our fairytale wedding and all we brought was our love

We got married at the Chrysler this past September, and they were fabulous all along the way, for the most part! The venue is beautiful, the staff were very responsive and helpful, and it's a great value for the price. However, their exclusive caterer is TASTE, and they have horrendous customer service. I have been told that the way they work with TASTE has changed since we booked with them, but I still wanted to warn other couples. The Chrysler team had to step in to deal with TASTE numerous times on our behalf since they were not responsive, did not provide pricing upfront, and were incredibly insulting. During our final vendor meeting, the Chrysler team did try to strong arm my now husband and I into changing our photography plan, but otherwise they were great, even on the day!

Everyone was helpful, venue was beautiful. It was weird having to do the rehearsal while the museum was open. People kept walking in front of us making it difficult to get everything done in a hour.

The Chrysler Museum was simply a live action fairytale. It was just beautiful. The staff was very helpful before the wedding. During the wedding they were…nice. Though I understand it, the security was a bit much; they didn’t seem to be very flexible. One example: it was hurricane conditions on the day of my wedding and my mother, who was already dressed, came in through the front door and was promptly asked to go around to the service entrance in the pouring rain where they were letting in the wedding party instead of escorting her through the museum. Rules are one thing but there has to be exceptions sometimes. Bottom line, beautiful place, guests love looking at the exhibits during cocktail hour but be prepared for the security.

I have known for a very long time that I wanted to get married at the Chrysler Museum. I am a lover of art history, specifically of the renaissance, baroque, and neoclassical art that dominates the inside and outside of the museum. I chose my venue before I was even officially engaged. So to look back at my experience at the museum, my expectations were high, and for the most part, those expectations were met. Mary Collins was my contact for the venue, and for the most part, she was very responsive and accommodating. The rental was expensive, but the contract included many items that other venues did not.

The two main issues that drove me to a less than perfect rating both originate from the idea of preferred vendors. First, as a bride, I was always looking for the best deal and best value. I had no choice over the catering company that I could use for the reception. The company came highly recommended when it came to their food, and this recommendation proved accurate, but as I expected, the customer service was very poor until I was finally paired with a specific coordinator that cared and was talented in her position.

The other issue I had was the treatment of some of my chosen vendors. It was made clear that the museum personnel treated vendors differently. This was made most clear during my bridal shoot. When looking online at previous bridal portraits, areas in the museum that were open to preferred vendors, were denied access by my photographer and myself. Moreover, during a few meetings, a lack of professionalism was highlighted by some comments appearing to have the purpose of bullying my vendors. I understand that the Chrysler is a well-respected art institution, but by no means should vendors be treated differently because of the price they pay to be listed on a preferred list.

I am so happy with my choice in the Chrysler, and I was happy with how everything turned out. These negative points were very small factors in the overall experience.

The Chrysler Museum of Art is by far the most beautiful reception site we visited. As a bride coming from DC I could not believe how affordable such an incredible site could be! There were a few staff changed during our planning process, but we were thrilled at the end result! Our guests are still talking about how amazing Huber Court looked on our big day!

The Chrysler Museum is GORGEOUS for a wedding reception. I loved it, my guests loved it. Mary Collins is extremely nice, responsive and professional and I enjoyed working with her. She was excited and upbeat and accommodating.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars was b/c with the museum comes the caterer- which I did not have a good experience with. Its too bad you do not have a choice- even a choice between 2. When one company has a monopoly like that they become lazy and overpriced.

Overall my guests and myself were wowed by the venue!

We had a construction situation one week before our wedding and were not happy with the customer service. However, the staff was extremely helpful an accommodating on the day of our wedding and the venue was beautiful.

Venue was beautiful. Customer service prior to the wedding was great. The day of, not so much. The time restrictions are strict and can make the wedding day more stressful. Rehearsal was interesting, the museum was business as usual so people would literally walk in front of us as we were practicing. When the coordinator asked people to walk around, one of the employees told her not to do that. One of the staff members threw our personal belongings in the trash. I had no idea they came to clean up when were not in there. She had to fish through the trash to retrieve it. I wasted an hr looking for my stuff before she admitted to throwing it out by accident. The venue is beautiful but it’s just that.. beautiful.
