Christy is the best photographer I've worked with (and I've had many)!!!
Her talent and personality are a perfect combo- she has amazing communication, promptness, cool under pressure, and her photos were incredible. She worked with kids and groups and was successful with both, getting some great candid shots as well as portraits. The colors of her photos are rich and crisp, which is what I was mainly looking for. She gave amazing advice on how to pose that looked beautiful when the photos came out. We got our photos within 3 weeks, with a generous amount of photos. She really cared to get all the shots I wanted, and really wanted to make sure of it. I am definitely booking her for future events or photoshoot, if she will have availability!!

Wonderful wedding photographer!
I’ll be the first to admit that, as an artsy person getting married in an unconventional venue (residential home) and a family that can be a lot to manage, my wedding was going to be a challenge for any photographer! I reviewed so many photographers before choosing Christy for her photo quality and editorial style - her attention to detail was clearly fantastic. As time went by I knew she was a great fit personally as well. She has been doing this a long time and is extremely professional. She is scheduled and organized (strengths you don’t always find alongside artistic talent) and she communicates clearly and well. She is also calm, a quality I appreciated at such a busy event. The day of our wedding she was on time, methodical, and everywhere working very hard. My family appreciated her management of family photo time - clear without being bossy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to another bride! Do be sure to read her contract fine print which among other things has a non-defamation clause.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Christy and am in LOVE with our wedding pictures!! Christy took my high school senior pictures 12 years ago and I couldn't wait to ask her to be our wedding photographer as well! All I can say is WOW!
My husband and I had a small court house wedding, and I wanted to book a photographer for only a couple of hours. I reached out to Christy and I could tell right away that I wanted to work with her! She is an absolute pro, and she even accommodated us at the last minute--I emailed her about two weeks before the wedding! As for how the photos turned out, I am speechless. I can't stop looking at them! The look and feel is romantic, playful, and elegant all rolled into one. Christy is not only an amazing person with amazing energy that she brought to our event, she is an amazing photographer and hands down the best I interviewed through a long interview process over a few months. Photography is one of the most important vendors you can hire for your wedding day, it was the first one we hired after securing our venue and date. You will remember your day through your photographs and will look at them over and over, more than you will any video, so the choice of a photographer is very important and Christy delivers on every level. Her detail shots were amazing, the candids during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception truly captured the whole event exactly as we remembered living it and her portraits are simply breathtaking. A wonderful experience through and through!
We really enjoyed working with Christy for our engagement and wedding photos! She was flexible with scheduling around our crazy schedules while working with a photo studio's availability, super responsive to emails, and helped in prompting/posing us for photos. Christy delivered our photos under the expected timeframe and weathered temperatures of 100 degrees on our shoot day. She is professional, talented, and super kind. We never take pictures together and now have SO many beautiful ones between both sessions. I could not recommend her enough!

Fantastic! Greatest photos ever!
Wow. What an unbelievable photographer! My friends and family cannot get over how amazing my photos turned out. She listened to everything I was concerned with color wise (bridesmaids dresses were redder in person than online which I didn’t want - was going for more rust) and the color looks phenomenal. She was so readily accessible and the photo turn time was very fast. I’m beyond excited about my new photos and cannot wait to have some printed. She was a great price and her work is outstanding. The photos they captured were not only classy and beautiful, but they also got some amazing candid material that I will cherish forever! I cannot say enough nice things about her! Christy was amazing to work with, she answered all my questions about locations, outfits, time of the day we should take our photos. We have not had professional photos taken in the past and were not sure about what to expect, she made us feel comfortable and gave helpful feedback about poses. Christy was phenomenal! She photographed my wedding day, and we had a bridals portrait session one month before. Christy is so professional, personable, and a great photographer. My husband and I are not the type to love taking pictures, but she made us feel very comfortable when we were taking staged photos. On the wedding day, Christy was organized and stuck to her timeline to ensure we got all the pictures we wanted. My husband and I did a photographed first look, and at the start of the first look, I had no idea she was there photographing! Those are some of my favorite pictures. During the more candid moments of the day, you would never know she was busy taking pictures of every moment and detail, but if I needed/wanted her, I could always find her within seconds. I cannot sing Christy's praises loud enough! She was ABSOLUTELY incredible in terms of helping us know what to expect in the process. Even in the midst of recalculating how to move forward with our wedding celebration during a pandemic, Christy made everything was so easy to plan and she made it all look so easy.
I had the privilege of having Christy shoot both my bridals and my wedding, where she was also joined by Britt. Christy was so fun and easy-going and made me feel like we were already best friends. Christy was absolutely AMAZING. My husband and I are the type of people who own horses and cows. Me being me, I wanted my horses and cows in our engagement pictures and in my bridal pictures. Christy was able to capture “us” perfectly, both with them and without them! I had a couple of pictures in mind when going into each shoot and I left the rest up to Christy and her eye for everything was perfect! Christy was a real dream to work with! We hired her for engagements, a couple's shoot (rather than just bridal), and wedding day. Christy was understanding and reassuring during the mess of 2020 with all the rescheduling. She was always quick with a friendly response to my multitudes of emails. She tirelessly worked with me to get the colors just right on our photos in editing so everything was just the way I wanted. After working together on the first two shoots, Christy remembered poses we liked, poses we didn't, and had all the editing done to my preferences for the hundreds of photos from the wedding day. She was also surprisingly fast at delivering photos to us after each shoot. Christy is the BEST!
Christy Archibald was the best decision we made for our wedding! Her photos are absolutely stunning, she is SO pleasant to work with, extremely professional in her processes, and she just has a way of making things easy! We'd never had professional photos taken so we were total newbies going into it for our engagement shoot and bridal session, but she guides you and makes things easy and low stress. The photos turned out simply amazing and were exactly what we were hoping for, and more. I am so happy and honored that Christy was such an important part of our special day!!! I highly recommend her!

If you want a fabulous Photographer Christy is #1!
I cannot tell you enough how much I love Christy. She is super nice and extremely talented. She thinks of every detail and gets many shots from different angles to allow you the greatest selection. She got our pictures to us the next day every time! The quality was amazing, we could not have hired a better photographer. She is very kind and takes the time to get to know her clients. She'll even help you overcome your nerves and carry items during the shoot. I absolutely would hire her again and recommend her to anyone!

I found Christy online after looking through wedding site reviews and recommended photographers. Christy has been easy to work with. Very flexible, always making sure we were happy and satisfied with her product! I fell in love with all of the engagement, bridal pictures and currently super excited about my wedding photography! Absolutely Perfect!
After thorough online research we were fortunate enough to find Christy and discover that she was still available for our big day. Now that our perfect day is behind us we are lucky enough to add to her list of incredible reviews. Neither of us have EVER had any type of photos taken and we had no idea what to expect for wedding photography. Christy organized our engagement shoot and instructed us through all the poses, giving feedback and helping us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. On the wedding day itself she had everything organized, it was very clear she has done this multiple times, and everything ran smoothly. She instructed us through the typical photos of the day and then constantly asked if there were any other specific shots we still wanted. If you look at her work it is incredible, and like all newly weds we are anxiously awaiting for the initial debut of our photos. Without even seeing them we cannot reiterate enough how much we think she did a great job and how special and beautiful we felt on our big day :) If you are in search of a wedding photographer, you would be in great hands with Christy! Highly reccommend!!

Christ is the BEST!
Christy was the absolute BEST photographer for not only our wedding day, but our engagement photos as well. She does a great job helping you relax and just ENJOY yourselves while she captures it all on camera. She has an incredible eye, and all of her photos are stunning. She even got sick from the extreme heat on our wedding day, but STAYED to make sure she captured it all for us- talk about commitment!!

Loved christy and her team!
Christy and her team were extremely attentive for my wedding day!!! I don’t know if every bride feels this way, but it’s nervewracking trusting vendors without ever meeting them in person before your wedding. However, Christy made all of my worries go away. She was very attentive to all of my needs and understood that I was on a budget and needed a last minute photographer since my previous photographer did not work out. Christy immediately sent me a questionnaire in regard to what I expected for my wedding photos. This questionnaire is EXTREMELY detailed and just proves that they are working FOR YOUR GOOD, brides!!! Brittany, one of Christy’s photographers, was available for my wedding date and I was so happy as I had seen her wonderful work on Christy’s page. Let me tell ya, Brittany busted her butt during the short five hours we had hired her for! She was everywhere and made sure we were getting everything we wanted. She got so many beautiful shots, was aware of good lighting and bad lighting, and was so friendly. I am so grateful for Christy and her team. Thank you for getting our photos back to us in a timely manner and dealing with my pickiness and loads of questions. If you’re looking for an AMAZING photographer for an unbeatable price, Christy is your girl.

Christy was very quick in responding to our emails. We had some last minute change ups and Christy worked with us to figure out solutions. She was very professional and thorough the day of the wedding and was such a pleasure to have there. She worked well with other vendors. We are so beyond happy with the way the photos turned out!!! Engagement Photo Session
We do not have enough positive words describe our experience with Christy! Our engagement shoot fell during the time of the pandemic, and required many calendar changes and accommodations. Christy's communication skills were beyond timely, thorough, and hospitable. During our shoot, Christy made us feel so comfortable, and it seemed like we had known her for years! Our pictures turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Christy found a wide-variety of backgrounds within the area, and had an endless amount of ideas for poses that we were comfortable with. She edited and returned our pictures in five days with a weekend included, because she knew we were working with a short deadline. If we described Christy in three words we would say: Relatable. Creative. Professional. We highly recommend choosing Christy to be your photographer.

We love christy!
There are not enough words to express how much I adore Christy and her beautiful work!!! From the moment we connected,(after spending weeks upon weeks researching photographers) I knew I’d found my golden ticket and we immediately booked her for engagements and wedding day!
Christy is extremely organized and detail oriented, she made each and every process so dang easy and stress free. She frequently went above and beyond the call of duty by helping me create several versions of wedding day timelines and always answering all of my questions in lightning speed. Christy also took the time to get to know us and our personalities which was super cool bc it allowed us to just be ourselves ... I never once felt alone during the wedding planning process and always knew Christy was in my corner which was a HUGE comfort to me, especially the day of my wedding.
I cannot imagine having anyone else by our side throughout our journey, the pictures Christy captured are seriously better than I ever dreamed possible, I am utterly obsessed with every single shot and could NOT be happier!! If you are looking for a photographer who is talented, creative, kind and organized - Christy is your girl! 5 stars isn’t enough!

Best Photographer Ever!
I am so glad that I chose Christy as our wedding photographer. Our pictures were beautiful & our style, and we got them back quicker than expected! I have a large family, and she did an awesome job of quickly taking family portraits after the ceremony. She was a wonderful "fly on the wall" at the reception, being there for all the moments without pulling attention away from our family and friends. She is so sweet and made our wedding day better.

Christy is not only a great friend but one of the most talented photographers I know. She photographed my engagements, bridals, and wedding. Fun, easy, organized!
Christy was our photographer for our engagement pictures and our wedding day. We are SO happy with how they all turned out, working with her was so easy and FUN!
I was nervous about the weather and the lighting for our engagement shoot and Christy was always quick to respond and made us both feel confident and comfortable. Our engagement session was so much fun and you can really see the love through our pictures. We also got them back super fast! She also made a photo album/guestbook for us that is my absolute favorite!!
Christy captured every single moment of our big day beautifully. I couldn't have asked for anything more, she went above and beyond my expectations! She was fun, calm and also able to get our big group together and looking good. She made sure that we got all of the pictures we wanted. We got ALL of our wedding pictures back in less than two weeks...that is unheard of! We are SO glad we chose Christy to be our photographer!

Working with Christy was one of my favorite memories of the entire process. We started with engagement photos which she helped us feel so comfortable and got some amazing shots that we didn’t know we were possible of doing (because long and lanky…) LOL. She was SOOOOO on top of everything from the first time I spoke with her. She response very quickly to any questions you have and will give you so many ideas in regards to engagement shoot locations, different poses, the vibe / style you are wanting from your photos. I chose Christy as our wedding photographer after reading her wonderful reviews here, so I want to continue the chain of positive energy that Christy very much deserves! I decided to do my bridal shots, engagement shoot and wedding photography with her. I first got to see her style of work during my bridal shoot. I didn’t really know what poses and expressions I wanted to do, but she guided me the whole time and made me feel really comfortable. She is very professional and truly knowledgeable about what she does. She understands what lighting and positioning will show up best in photographs. Next, we did our engagement shoot with Christy. Again, she brought all the characteristics mentioned above to the photo shoot. My husband was nervous that he would feel awkward, but afterwards he told me that he was able to be himself because of how comforting Christy was with us. She is patient, thorough and considerate of her clients. Weeks leading up to the wedding we were in constant communication trying to work out the little details and she frequently asked me if there was anything she could do for us. She came up with a timeline for me so we could be on the same page about what she would be capturing on our day. Throughout the wedding, Christy was very engaged and attentive to our requests. Our final wedding photos are proof of this because she captured so many more beautiful moments and details that what I imagined she would. We were so happy going through our wedding pictures because they were clear, bright, romantic, fun, and candid! Also, the online system she uses to share pictures with you is very organized and easy to use. I would highly recommend Christy to any bride!!

She does such a great job at finding the perfect angles and places to get the most incredible results. I didn't get a videographer for my wedding, but I don't feel like I didn't even missed out because Christy was able to capture every special moment. I have had so many compliments on how amazing all of our pictures have turned out. Not only are the pictures great, but Christy is just an amazing person to work with! I got my engagement pictures back within 5 days and my wedding pictures back a little over 2 weeks later! All of the pictures she took were so beautiful. Let me start off by saying, I truly believe we could not have chosen a better photographer than Christy. Christy has all the attributes you could want in a wedding photographer: communicative, creative, helpful, timely, and caring are just a few words I would use to describe her. We first met Christy at a Starbucks, where she was interested in getting to know us. She had samples of her photography ready for viewing, as well as different photo albums and printouts. We loved her work on her website to begin with, and her in person examples exemplified that. Christy did a great job explaining how the plan would work for taking engagement, bridal, and wedding photographs. We had interests in putting together specific packages and Christy was more than happy to work with us. When we met for our first photos, engagement session, we knew we chose a great photographer. We typically aren’t too photo friendly, but Christy guided us on all sorts of poses and made us feel super comfortable. She let us change outfits and if we had particular ideas in mind, she was happy to do them as well. On wedding day, she again arrived early and discussed the plan with us. She guided us perfectly along the process from first look to family photos. When we received the photos (for each session) we were amazed at how great they look! Each of our family and friends are in awe at all of the beautiful photos. We are very very happy that we picked Christy as our photographer and highly recommend her for everyone.

In the DFW area there are several photographers to choose from and we just needed engagement pictures since we are getting married in KY. We decided to go with Christy because we liked her photography(obviously!) and her professionalism. However, when we met her we felt like we were hanging out with a friend. They are all so bright and colorful and perfectly captured our wedding day. Not only that, but the portraits she did of my husband and I perfectly captured our relationship. I got my wedding pictures back in record time. She got them back to me only about a week after the wedding which is amazing. I was so scared I was going to have to wait months but Christy got them back to me in no time. She is the perfect photographer for a wedding because she is like a fly on the wall, capturing every single moment. I swear I don't think Christy missed photographing one single thing at the wedding! Looking through the hundreds of pictures was so much fun because we got to relive the whole wedding and even remember those small moments that she captured that we would've otherwise maybe forgotten. Christy is an AMAZING photographer! Seriously the best decision of the wedding was hiring her. I love how my wedding and engagement pictures turned out. We needed all the direction we could get on different poses and actions to do and Christy guided us through it all. The pictures captured how beautiful and fun our wedding day was and I am so grateful for them. Definitely recommend hiring her!!

Honestly- photography was one of my big sticking points when we were deciding budget. Christy's prices immediately appealed to me but it was her stunning portfolio that sold us. I didn't know she was even there for 90% of the pictures she gave us back. She captured moments (BEAUTIFULLY) that I doubt I had the emotional capacity to fully remember today. I look through our pictures frequently and relive each of the moments and feel overwhelmed with love and gratitude for her ability to find the angles and the light perfectly. Best of all- she is sweet and yet forward enough to command our silly family and wedding party.

As the mother of the bride, I can't say enough about the work done by Christy Archibald Photography! During the preparation, the wedding and the reception, she and her colleague were everywhere...yet were not at all intrusive (we hardly knew they were there!). They were fast, efficient and thorough in getting pictures of absolutely everything and everyone!
I have just finished reviewing and choosing pictures...(there were so many to choose from) and all were just exceptionally beautiful!!! I can not say enough about the work and services provided. Christy is an absolute joy to work with and I would highly recommend her to everyone! She took our engagement photos, as well as our wedding photos this year and made everything so fun, comfortable and easy.
Our portrait poses look natural and she really captured our personalities and the love we have for each other and our families in the candid shots. She was also really well organized, which was wonderful on such a busy day, so I didn't have to worry we were forgetting anyone.
We got our pictures back even earlier than expected and have received so many compliments on all the photos. I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect photographer and I'm so glad we found Christy! She definitely went above and beyond our expectations.

I couldn't ask for a better photographer. Christy was our engagement photographer as well as our wedding day photographer. She made sure we had all the shots we wanted even if that means we go over the amount of time we paid her for. Our wedding day didn't start out the way we planned, but when I arrived at the wedding venue she took care of everything without asking a single question (photowise). The wedding photos came out beautiful, and the best part is, I received the pictures within the second week after our wedding.

You definitely should book with Christy! I am VERY happy with her photography skills. I used her for my engagement, bridal portraits, and wedding day coverage. I love that she pays close attention to detail in all of her photos. She made us feel so comfortable in the posed pictures and really captured the emotions in the candid ones during the ceremony and reception. She is very organized and responds quickly to emails and got our pictures to us in a timely manner. Her packages are priced well and affordable compared to other photographers I found. I seriously would not recommend anyone else. We are already using her for my sister's wedding in December!

Christy was such a huge blessing to our wedding. She was so sweet when we met with her to go over the wedding package and talk about what we were looking for. She was also very accommodating to what we needed and worked with us to make sure we were happy with all the details. On the wedding day she was really efficient and made everything completely stress free. She made sure to get all the pictures we had asked for specifically and asked us several times if there were any pictures she hadn’t gotten that we still wanted. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture all the details and emotions of the day. Our pictures came out gorgeous and we loved them all! We've also gotten so many compliments from friends and family on our photos. I would recommend Christy to everyone; our photos exceeded our expectations and we were thrilled with the whole process!

It was wonderful working with Christy throughout the entire process. She answered all my questions and made sure she captured exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. We also had the privilege of working with Christy's partner photographer on our wedding day, and loved her just as much. She bought the guys ice cream from an ice cream truck to get a fun, unique shot. They were very professional, yet also fun to work with.
And the pictures... Darren and I got them about two weeks ago. There hasn't been a day that goes by that one of us hasn't been online looking at them. We literally can't get enough! They are perfect!

From the very beginning, Christy was all of the above and more for our wedding day! She responds almost instantly and she's very easy to get a hold of. We did something a little different and had a bicycle parade with our guests from the ceremony to the reception and she was very accommodating with the whole thing! Also, despite the gray weather on our big day, she made our pictures absolutely stunning and made the weather situation into a memorable scenario ^-^ All the little details she took were beautiful and her guidance on what to do (and not just for posing but with how to cut a wedding cake too! lol) was very helpful. I had a small wedding at the arboretum and Christy captured every minute of my wedding day and it was absolutely gorgeous! Christy was INCREDIBLE!
She was with us for about 11 hours, and even agreed to do the 11th hour the week before the wedding as our plans finalized. She had a second, who was also incredible, so that we could have extra coverage of getting ready, the ceremony, and the very beginning of the reception. The shots she got were absolutely perfect.
She has amazing style and her own eye, but she wanted to know what we wanted as well. She made fantastic effort to make sure we didn't forget the shots we'd told her we wanted. She was very friendly and blazing fast! Our wedding was in Texas in August, but we still wanted outdoor shots. She was so quick that we got hundreds of great shots outdoors without anyone breaking a sweat! She was also great with the natural light, making sure no one had weird sunny splotches on their faces.
My husband and I left the reception and went to Whataburger, and Christy followed us to get pictures of us there! Those are honestly some of my favorites just because it was such a special funny thing we did that was really our personality, so having Christy there to photograph it was perfect!
We got our pictures in 4 weeks flat! She set up a great online album that we can share with anyone. That way friends and family can order their own prints if they want to. We get our own digital copies without water mark and with reproduction rights.
I really can't imagine having any other photographer for that day!

Christy was the photographer for my engagement party in Dallas and my wedding in Santa Barbara. She is fantastic. She is very efficient and professional which is important because you don't want to spend your whole wedding day taking posed pictures. We loved how our engagement party pictures turned out so much that we had Christy come out to Santa Barbara to photograph our wedding and those pictures came out fantastic as well. She is great at capturing pictures with so much emotion. I would absolutely recommend Christy's services in a heartbeat.

I can get pretty picky (as can my fiance), but we have nothing but awesome things to say about her. She has a great eye and sensibility. She's also endlessly patient, thorough, and professional. She also was able to provide perspective as both a bride and a photographer on shots that we might want taken on our day. She was able to help my husband and I find good poses that worked for us, and was so efficient at posing our bridal party. She was very quick and efficient in all the family photos as well. All of our photos turned out even better than I hoped! We were so, so pleased and excited to see all of the photos that she took. They were all so perfect. Somehow she was able to perfectly capture the excitement and the beauty of the day. We didn't have a video recording of the day so having wonderful pictures was the most important thing to me. Christy was so professional. She took charge in a way that wasn't bossy or obtrusive. She captured all the moments that I would want pictures of, and she was so quick. I've heard about photographers totally hijacking the wedding day and taking far too many photos. This was not Christy. She got the perfect moments and I never felt like I was missing out on my wedding because I was stuck in front of the camera. She was a joy to work with and her photos were beyond perfect. Christy was absolutely amazing! When I was looking for a photographer I had a budget in mind and some photographers weren't willing to work with me whatsoever. But, I told her what I wanted and what my price range was and she worked with us! We got everything we wanted. She did our engagement photos and was very friendly and let us choose the spot we wanted. She uses natural light and does a lot of candid shooting which I prefer. Our photos only took maybe two weeks and our wedding photos only took a mere nine days! She emailed me back quickly and was always up for a phone call as well. She also doesn't over edit her photos which is a big no no for me. I can't say enough good things about Christy! I don't think I have one bad thing to say about her!

After seeing what a great job Christy did for my sister's wedding in Nov 2014 I had no doubt I would hire her as well. I didn't even look into other photographers. She is a pleasure to work with. Christy responds to emails really quickly and is really flexible. We had to change our engagement photos date and she didn't give us any trouble. Pricing is really reasonable. The day of the wedding she was on time and before the ceremony asked if there were any photos in particular I wanted her to capture. We received our engagement photos and wedding photos quickly and they were great. Overall Christy was great, highly recommended.

I found Christy through WeddingWire and she has been an absolute amazing photographer. My husband and I had her shoot our proposal, e-shoot, and our wedding this year. And every time I look at the pictures from each shoot/event, I think they're incredible. She captures the best moments and we really loved working with her.
