Christy was wonderful to work with! She is very responsive and easy to communicate with. My husband is quite shy and she was able to get him to smile naturally and captured many amazing photos for us. Christy shot both our engagement photos and our wedding day, and we are over the moon about the results! Our photos are absolutely stunning, and she captured our day so perfectly! My favorite part about working with Christy was her honesty and her ability to be transparent about what is possible during a shoot due to time constraints. She helped us prioritize the photos that were the most important, and worked with us to capture as many photos as she possibly could. We are forever grateful for the work she did for us! Christy is the best photographer I've worked with (and I've had many)!!!
Her talent and personality are a perfect combo- she has amazing communication, promptness, cool under pressure, and her photos were incredible. She worked with kids and groups and was successful with both, getting some great candid shots as well as portraits. The colors of her photos are rich and crisp, which is what I was mainly looking for. She gave amazing advice on how to pose that looked beautiful when the photos came out. We got our photos within 3 weeks, with a generous amount of photos. She really cared to get all the shots I wanted, and really wanted to make sure of it. Wonderful wedding photographer!
I’ll be the first to admit that, as an artsy person getting married in an unconventional venue (residential home) and a family that can be a lot to manage, my wedding was going to be a challenge for any photographer! I reviewed so many photographers before choosing Christy for her photo quality and editorial style - her attention to detail was clearly fantastic. As time went by I knew she was a great fit personally as well. She has been doing this a long time and is extremely professional. She is scheduled and organized (strengths you don’t always find alongside artistic talent) and she communicates clearly and well. She is also calm, a quality I appreciated at such a busy event. The day of our wedding she was on time, methodical, and everywhere working very hard. My family appreciated her management of family photo time - clear without being bossy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to another bride! Do be sure to read her contract fine print which among other things has a non-defamation clause.Christy Archibald Photography's reply:

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Christy and am in LOVE with our wedding pictures!! Christy took my high school senior pictures 12 years ago and I couldn't wait to ask her to be our wedding photographer as well! We had our engagement pictures and wedding pictures taken by Christy and I HIGHLY recommend her for any photography needs! She took the time to get to know what we wanted for our wedding/engagement photos and made our vision come to light better than I could've imagined! Christy is so easy to work with and is very kind! She is very organized, punctual, accommodating to clients' busy schedules, knowledgeable, creative, and detail oriented. She also answered any/all questions and made us feel comfortable/heard throughout the whole process. We got both our engagement and wedding photos back within a very short time frame and they are just perfect. I am so thankful to have such wonderful photos that captured our wedding season and I love reliving our best day through our beautiful pictures! Absolutely magical
Communication and updates throughout scheduling was clear and concise, she was so helpful and patient with me, as I was 32 weeks pregnant during our session, she provided ample options for off-site photographs (we had a courthouse wedding), and was just an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I had a small court house wedding, and I wanted to book a photographer for only a couple of hours. I reached out to Christy and I could tell right away that I wanted to work with her! She is an absolute pro, and she even accommodated us at the last minute--I emailed her about two weeks before the wedding! As for how the photos turned out, I am speechless. I can't stop looking at them! The look and feel is romantic, playful, and elegant all rolled into one. You might think that some of the poses are awkward feeling, but I promise you they will turn out great. Thank you, Christy. Using Christy as our wedding photographer was by far the best decision I made throughout the planning process. She was super communicative, provided exceptional service, and the photos turned out stunning. On the day of the wedding, I knew I was in great hands with Christy and her second shooter. I’m not creative and didn’t have many ideas of what I wanted out of my photos, and Christy took the lead, getting beautiful shots efficiently. She's really quick respond and her turnaround time on the photos are super quick as well. We really enjoyed working with Christy for our engagement and wedding photos! She was flexible with scheduling around our crazy schedules while working with a photo studio's availability, super responsive to emails, and helped in prompting/posing us for photos. Christy delivered our photos under the expected timeframe and weathered temperatures of 100 degrees on our shoot day. She is professional, talented, and super kind. Fantastic! Greatest photos ever!
Wow. What an unbelievable photographer! My friends and family cannot get over how amazing my photos turned out. She listened to everything I was concerned with color wise (bridesmaids dresses were redder in person than online which I didn’t want - was going for more rust) and the color looks phenomenal. She was so readily accessible and the photo turn time was very fast. I’m beyond excited about my new photos and cannot wait to have some printed. She was a great price and her work is outstanding. The photos they captured were not only classy and beautiful, but they also got some amazing candid material that I will cherish forever! I cannot say enough nice things about her! Christy's work is simply incredible! After having chatted on the phone, I loved how easy it was to speak to her about our vision and style. She immediately understood what we were looking for and had lots of ideas. Christy was the best at posing us in a way that made us feel natural and look beautiful. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, Christy was always so responsive to my many questions and concerns I had. I could expect a response from her within 24 hours and usually much quicker than that. Our finished wedding photos blew us away! I am in awe of how filled with love, naturalness, and light the photos are. Christy captured gorgeous family photos, candids, intimate moments of my husband and I, and the most perfect lifelong memories which we will cherish forever. Thank you for you amazing work, Christy!!
