We've had Christopher perform for wine tasting, dining and a few parties.
He is incredibly talented and anyone who hears him is absolutely impressed by his musicianship and professionalism. We would be happy to have him live here, but we have to share him with the broader public and his wife probably wouldn't be very enthusiastic about it.

I would highly recommend using Christopher Rude for your wedding or any event! He was very professional and we really enjoyed working with him. We were planning a wedding in Downtown Milwaukee from across the country and he made himself available to answer any questions or concerns we had through the entire planning process. We requested 2 custom songs and even had one of our close friends accompany him on vocals and he was very flexible and took it upon himself to work all the details out with our vocalist. The music was absolutely beautiful and added a personal element to our wedding. The wonderful work that Christopher Rude did for our ceremony turned out to be one of our favorite and most memorable moments of the entire day.

We enjoyed have Christopher play Christmas music at our Old Fashioned Christmas event - his music added the perfect ambiance to our environment and really put people in the holiday mood. He is a wonderful musician and always a joy to listen to!

Chris was very easy to work with - very accommodating (he even helped do some decorating when we were running a little behind before the ceremony - it was supposed to be outside and it ended up pouring down rain so things were quickly and at the last minute moved inside.) his music was beautiful! His website is great to!

Chris is a very accomplished musician and professionally trained. He did some extra and time consuming things for our daughter's wedding in addition to accompanying the maid of honor. He was always very timely, prepared and highly capable. There were no lose ends.

Chris was very professional and easy to work with. His music choices fit our wedding perfectly! He worked with our vocalist on a custom song and it went beautifully! He also provided and set up all of the microphone and amplification equipment. We didn't have to worry about anything. Definitely worth it!

Chris did an amazing job providing music for our wedding ceremony. He was so easy to work with before our event and really helped us select the music that fit our wedding and us as a couple. I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of: Chris was very prompt, set up everything on his own, and even went above in beyond in helping out my cousin who was having issues setting up his camera. He was totally there for us and we received so many great comments regarding his music. He worked with our officiant ahead of time to work out cues to start and stop the music where it made the most sense and just did an overall great job. I would recommend Chris to anyone.

Our wedding was held in Las Caletas, Mexico, and Christopher Rude's classical guitar was perfect for the beach setting - romantic and elegant, complementing, not over powering. Christopher was helpful, flexible, and professional. As it wasn't possible to have Christopher there in person to play, he provided us with digital recordings of the music we wanted. The night before the wedding we held a dinner in a villa in the hillside of Mismaloya, we played Christopher's Heart Strings CD during the dinner - lovely! We gave copies of the CD to the bridal party, they loved the memorable gift. We appreciated Christopher's responsiveness and interest in making sure we had what we wanted, even though we were not a big client.

Christopher offers an enormous selection of pieces to choose from - we were delighted with the music during the ceremony as well as during the social hour. He took care of all the details associated with sound for the ceremony - including things we would not have thought of. He is a true professional and easy to work with. Everything was perfect!

Chris was very friendly and very helpful in the planning and execution of the ceremony music at our wedding. He not only talked me through the details of the ceremony, but even collaborated with my wedding officiant to make sure that all of the cues were timed perfectly! He made planning the music easy and stress-free. His music was beautiful and his classical guitar set the mood perfectly for our romantic wedding beneath two trees! Chris was great to work with. Wedding planning can be stressful, especially when it comes to ensuring all details are squared away with all your vendors. When it came to Chris, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Even though my venue was untraditional (posing some logistical challenges), he had thought of everything, and addressed it all with me in a very organized manner. He was prompt, professional, and very flexible (a few weeks before the wedding I decided we wanted him to play during cocktail hour too - no problem). Christopher Rude performed for our ceremony, as well as pre-ceremony music, social hour and dinner background music. He was one of many excellent aspects of our day. We hired Chris to play our orchard ceremony, and as background music for our cocktail hour and dinner. We could not have been more happy with his performance. After having heard him play I can truly say that he is a master at his craft. He was able to create the perfect atmosphere for our day.

On top of that, Chris was phenomenal to work with. In an industry filled with vendors that can make things more difficult/frustrating, Chris was the definition of professional. Using his website as a tool, we were able to plan our event with Chris in just 30 minutes on the phone. His packages are easy to understand and pricing was (I felt) affordable for most.

We absolutely loved having Christopher Rude play at our ceremony - he was very quick to respond to all of my inquiries, and he extremely easy to work with. I have a big appreciation for people who quickly respond to e-mails and phone calls, and Chris was on the mark with all of this! He is a very talented man, and he played beautiful pieces for our wedding. We had an outdoor venue, and the sound and volume were set up just right - he does a great job of showing up early and making sure everything is perfectly set up for the ceremony. Working with Christopher Rude was great, he was always very prompt in response, professional, easy to work with and definitely delivered the day of my wedding. I can't even imagine having someone else at our ceremony! We didn't have the most necessarily traditional ceremony requests, but he was quick to accommodate and learn new pieces. He added a classy element to our wedding with great quality of service plus he came professionally dressed. His service is well worth the value especially on a day you will cherish for the rest of your life. He made our ceremony truly personal and for that we would recommend his service to anyone for any type of event. Highly recommend!

We could have not been happier with our ceremony music! My husband is a guitarist, so he immediately was in awe of Chris's talent and skill. Chris is masterful classical guitarist! His music was beautiful at our wedding and we got many wonderful compliments.

But in addition, I want to mention some of the "behind the scenes" things that made working with Chris a pleasure. He rearranged his personal life to perform at our wedding. He didn't have to, but that is how dedicated he is not just as a musican, but as a businessman.

He was also very easy to work with. He was very responsive to all my communications and questions (and there were a lot) and he was confident and secure in his work and that helped to calm me down.

In addition, his prices are VERY competitive! I checked into other claissical guitarists and a harpsist, and no one sounded better than him, even those costing double the price.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHRISTOPHER RUDE for your wedding, or any event that you need beautiful music to set the tone.

Chris performed recently at our son's wedding in Milwaukee. Although we live in Oregon he made it easy choose and organize appropriate music, and was very accommodating. Chris' playing was beautiful, and complemented the ceremony perfectly without being intrusive. A+

Really could not have loved Chris more! He played at our outdoor wedding, and then moved to play at our cocktail hour at another venue. The music sounded fantastic, and Chris really put us at ease during our planning session. We had to do our planning session by telephone because we live in Washington DC--and it still all came together flawlessly. Chris had great ideas for songs, and was completely flexible with anything and everything we asked for. He was the most professional and easy vendor I had...out of about 100 vendors:) My husband and I would recommend Chris to everyone.

As a bride, I loved this guitarist! We discussed all the details prior to the wedding day, so I didn't have to worry about a thing on the big day. My husband and I found him to be very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely well prepared. Additionally, his music is beautiful! We had an outside wedding and his music set the mood perfectly. If you are looking for a great guitarist for wedding music, I would definitely recommend Chris Rude!

Christopher was exactly what we had hoped for our ceremony and over the dinner hour of our Wedding day. Not only all was all contact before, during and after the event professional it was also friendly and memorable. It was truly a pleasure having him as part of our day. I could not have asked for more.

Christopher Rude did a a phenomenal job at our ceremony!! He was very professional, patient, and attentive when it came to exactly what music we wanted played throughout the ceremony. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a classical guitarist for their wedding. His talent and price were exceptional. He helped to truly make our day perfect!!

Chris is a true professional! I wasn't sure about which music to choose for my wedding, and he was right there with terrific ideas! The wedding music was beautiful. When I hear Canon in D my mind flashes back to my wedding day, and the beautiful acoustic guitar that Chris played. I couldn't have asked for more.

Chris Rude played for my wedding. He arranged special music for me to choose from and played both before and during the ceremony. He was friendly, flexible, and extremely helpful. In addition, his music was beautiful and helped to make our day very special. I give him my very highest recommendation.

Chris’ music was beautiful and made our wedding ceremony truly special. Chris met with us and provided lots of choices and ideas for our ceremony music. Chris is very professional and his musicianship is top notch. His performance was touching and heartfelt. Many of our guests commented on the beautiful music and still talk about it today. He was great. Very talented and great ambiance. We had our wedding indoors. He performed during the ceremony and cocktail hour. He had many songs to choose from and was very flexible.

Chris was great to work with. He is extremely easy to communicate with and responded to emails and phone calls quickly. He is very detail oriented and professional. He made sure nothing was missed in the set up of the ceremony. He also attempted to make a special request happen, but due to time constraints couldn't make it work. Overall, very positive feedback from our guests and he really make our ceremony unique and special.

My experience with Christopher Rude was wonderful. He responded very quickly to my inquiries, accommodated a special song request I made, and even allowed us to use his microphone when the one we rented wasn't working. I would definitely recommend Mr. Rude to anyone looking for a musician for their wedding.

Chris has a really great selection of classical guitar pieces, many of which are available for listening/previewing on his website. He took a leadership role in helping us plan the music for our ceremony, which I appreciated, but was also willing to work with our ideas as well. His music was lovely and he was easy to work with.
