  Chris Howard is an awesome photographer!

  Chris Howard is a wonderful photographer - both for the beautiful images he captures, and his calm, charming and creative energy as a photographer (he took both our engagement photos and our wedding photos.)
  
  We knew we wanted to have an intimate and handcrafted wedding, and did much of the decoration and organizing ourselves - but for photography we knew we wanted professional photos so that all the details of our special day would be captured. Chris was the perfect match, we absolutely loved working with him.
  
  Our wedding photos turned out soooooooo wonderful. He really knows how to capture the special moments, the guests who came so far to celebrate us, the energy of the dance floor - all phenomenal.
  
  Our wedding book we created from the photos Chris took is a treasured piece of our family story. We look at our photos and cherish the day- all thanks to Chris Howard. I highly recommend Chris Howard Events!

  10/10 Recommend - The best

  Chris is extremely talented at his craft while also an awesome, kind, and fun person to work with. He took our engagement and wedding photos and they came out better than we could’ve imagined. Portraits, landscape, objects, he captured it all beautifully and with incredible taste.

  Photos we will cherish forever

  Chris Howard and his team were incredible from start to finish. My wife and I got married in Muir Woods in 2017, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Chris's attention to detail and unique style truly captured the essence of our day. Every time we look at our photos, we're transported back to that moment, and it's all thanks to Chris's remarkable talent. He went above and beyond in every way, making sure we had memories we'll cherish forever. We wholeheartedly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

  Chris is wonderful!! From his dynamic imagery to personality!

  Having Chris capture my best friend's wedding was an amazing experience. His documentary style perfectly captured every special moment without ever being intrusive. Chris is incredibly talented, friendly, and genuinely kind. He made everyone feel comfortable, and the photos truly reflect the essence and celebration of their day. I can’t recommend him enough!

  Muir Woods Wedding

  We had the pleasure of working with Chris for our small, intimate wedding in Muir Woods. The photos turned out wonderful, capturing the natural beauty of the Muir Woods and candid moments of the evening. Chris communicated clearly from start to finish and was very friendly — and when your photographer is 1 of 10 total people at your wedding that’s important! We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a photographer!

  Phenomenal Photographer

  Christopher Howard is a phenomenal photographer. He is incredibly kind, professional, and experienced. He possesses that rare gift of being a calm, unobtrusive presence which both puts subjects at ease and captures their essences in intimate, iconic, and forever treasured moments. I would highly recommend Christopher as a photographer for weddings or events, having worked with him in both large and small scale settings. We LOVE him so much, he's photographed four weddings in our family! Can't think of a higher recommendation than that!

  Chris took absolutely beautiful photos of our wedding, and whenever I meet anyone who needs a photographer for not just a wedding, but any memorable event, I recommend him enthusiastically and without hesitation. Not only is Chris an incredibly talented photographer, he is great with people and even makes the camera-shy feel comfortable and relaxed. His images, both posed and candid, capture people's beauty and personalities perfectly. I wouldn't go to anyone else!

  Chris was our photographer for a small, backyard wedding which we designed to make my father, who has dementia, able to participate and feel comfortable. I cannot express how much I LOVE the photos. He was so attentive to light, body position, and important moments. He was wonderfully warm and at ease with my father, which I appreciated. Unlike with the photos from our big, official wedding, I will be making an album because ALL of the photos are beautiful. I wish we had had Chris photograph both events.

  Chris was an absolutely amazing photographer. My wife and I used him for our engagement photos and wedding photos. Almost two years later we're still printing photos and hanging them up around the house. We have a great canvas photo that we developed from the pictures he took. We were really happy to use Chris to capture all of the great moments. He was truly a professional in his ability to capture great photos and to make the whole process very easy. Once I received all our photos I couldn't believe how many details he had captured because I was able to just enjoy the whole event, didn't have to worry about where he was or if he was capturing everything, as he seemed to be everywhere, yet be invisible all at the same time. I would definitely recommend Chris.

  Chris did both our engagement shoot and wedding day photos. We really enjoyed working with him, as he is very creative and positive yet just as calm- he knew how to guide us when we got awkward. haha! He listened to our feedback and we were able to get exactly the look we wanted. At the wedding, he requested a handful of shots that we LOVED, but otherwise he flew under the radar and did not add to any of the wedding stress. (My brother in law used a photographer for his wedding last month who was the loudest most disruptive person at the wedding) Chris is the opposite! Thanks again for everything!

  While looking for wedding photographers, I was drawn to Chris' work, and could see immediately that it would fit well with our semi-casual outdoor wedding. I liked his blend of striking, atmospheric photos, and relaxed candids that let the joy of the event shine through. From the moment I first got in touch, he was enthusiastic and responsive, and a pleasure to work with. On our wedding day, he helped make sure things ran smoothly, laughed along with us, graciously allowed our photographer friends to also record the day's events, and managed to wrangle both our extended families with aplomb. His calm, collected vibe definitely rubbed of on the whole wedding party.
  Our photos arrived later than anticipated, but hey, life happens, and we were in constant communication with Chris the whole time so it wasn't a surprise. We appreciated his responsiveness. Most importantly, the (many, many, MANY) photos were lovely. We got all the family shots for aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc., plenty of couples shots, wedding prep, ceremony, and other big moments throughout the day. My favorite ones are the party shots of all the guests having a blast.
  We highly recommend hiring Chris for any event, whether it's a wedding, or just a large gathering of people, because he really captures the atmosphere of an event and the personalities of the people.

  I originally found Chris to do our engagement photos, and we had such a great experience that we decided to use him for our wedding as well. I could not be happier with our decision- he totally "got" our vision (we didnt want any cheesy typical wedding photos, we wanted more natural and documentary style shots) and he was super responsive throughout. At the end of the experience, he really felt like a friend on top of being our photographer. We still keep in touch and I can see his skills keep getting even better than before, which I didn't know was possible. Would highly recommend him as a lifestyle photographer!

  For the past few years, I've been experimenting with photography. Because it's fun. I bought myself a decent DSLR, and I've found that I can take some damn good photos when I've got the time and the inclination. In a few moments of hubris (based on a couple lucky shots), I've even deluded myself into thinking I might be able to do this professionally somewhere [very far] down the road.
  
  And then I got married. About that photo career...
  
  1. The pictures from my wedding, taken by CM Howard Photography, are so mind-blowingly superior to anything I have ever taken...no. Just no. I am a hobbyist. Chris is is a professional.
  
  2. If this is the competition, my photography skills are clearly not going to support a family.
  
  The rich detail, the fantastic quality, the way in which the photographs capture the sheer joy and ebullience of the day...we couldn't ask for anything more. He somehow captured every moment of the celebration, and it literally makes me smile just thinking about the ridiculous action shots of my clown friends on the dance floor.
  
  These are memories that will last a lifetime, and if you are thinking about getting a photographer for a very special occasion, it is worth it to get the best. And CM Howard Photography is the best.
