If I could give 10/5 stars I would. Upon arrival for the open house, I wasn’t stoked on going in. I had the venue searching burnout… But my fiancé insisted on going in and oh my goodness I am so grateful we did. The inside is so romantic, beautiful and Kerri, her husband and staff only made the experience better! Kerri responded to all of my emails quickly, which is a big deal to a control freak of a bride (me)!! I was against an all inclusive venue, but my mind sure did change fast and honestly, that helps take so much stress off of planning!! Fast forward, a few weeks before the wedding, we have our final meeting and they care about all your small details.. I never felt rushed, but they definitely care about providing amazing service. Now day of the wedding, we came in like a zoo! The tables were put together, the seating outside was ready. We set up and the Event manager Kara was nothing short of amazing. She was so kind, and anything I had questions about, I had immediate answers.. The other staff members were also just as amazing and so friendly to me guests. They told everyone when to walk and it was beautiful.. The food was amazing, it was warm and I had no complaints!! The photos do not do justice to how beautiful the venue is, nor how amazing the staff was.. Thank you guys so much for making my wedding so beautiful and for handling us all with so much care and kindness..Christies of Genesee's reply:

Christies of Genesee handled our wedding & reception for us. We live out of state so it was important for us to have a venue that could accommodate and handle as many details as possible. They exceeded our expectations. From the Ceremony, to the food, and emcee duties. When the winds became too strong, we quickly adapted and moved everything indoors without any fuss. Thank you to Kerri & Staff for a memorable event! -

We got married in September at this beautiful venue. The staff were all amazing and beyond helpful in every way possible! We had an issues with the whole mountain side losing power for about 45min (totally out of their control) they were very apologetic and brought out candles and a speaker from the kitchen to be able to continue the evening. Even brought out glow sticks for everyone and it was still so much fun and an amazing night! I would recommend this venue to anyone! It is as pictured and perfect for smaller more intimate weddings/receptions!Christies of Genesee's reply:

Great and very organized, power did go out in the area during wedding, but they were prompt on getting lighting for us and glow sticks were so much fun. Great people and made it very memorable, I highly recommend them to anyone and the price was very low compared to other venuesChristies of Genesee's reply:

My Perfect Wedding Venue! - Happiest Mr. & Mrs.
It is an honor and privilege to provide this recognition to Christies of Genesee Wedding and Event Venue!
Kerri, her husband and her entire team were absolutely a pleasure to meet and there aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for their support and effort to make our dream wedding come to fruition. Their kindness and care for every single detail was by far one of my greatest experiences. The entire team was serviceable, attentive and made all our family and friends feel welcomed.
From the first day, we met Kerri during an open house, we instantly knew this was exactly where we needed to be and I will add with less than 60 days to plan - everything we wanted, we found it!
Kerri, also recommended several vendors that made everything so much easier for us. The chef did a marvelous job with our dinner selections. Everyone commented on how great the food selection was and tasted amazing. The venue in its entirety was absolutely amazing!
From beginning to the end, everything was PERFECT!!! Sergio and I, are truly grateful and blessed to have found this venue for our special day. We loved it so much, that we only wish we could have a repeat of our wonderful wedding every year!
Again, thank you so much for everything. This was a day that we will treasure FOREVER!

The venue was gorgeous, and Kari was so sweet. The food was amazing and everything was absolutely perfect. If you love the modern rustic feel, this is the place. The wedding was everything I imagined and more.Christies of Genesee's reply:

Fantastic venue - highly recommend
I wanted to recommend Christie’s of Genese where we had our wedding on 05/29/2021. The owners are extremely nice, friendly and accommodating. A plus In customer service department. The place is so beautiful inside. They have a lot of neat decorations and the outside is so cute. The staff was amazing during the wedding and food was great. I don’t have a single bad word to say and I wholeheartedly recommend this venue. We had 46 people but they accommodate way more. It’s also not that far from Denver, it took us 45 minutes from Parker, plenty of parking, and awesome woods behind the venue to take pics with Mountain Views.Christies of Genesee's reply:

Our wedding reception at Christie's was so beautiful and memorable, we're so glad we went with them!! We got nothing but compliments on the food, the venue itself, and the great atmosphere. Claudia, the event manager was great, she was friendly and made sure everything was running smoothly so I didn't have to worry about what to do when. The owners are flexible with making sure you have the wedding you want and they have a quick response time when you have questions.Christies of Genesee's reply:

They were so professional asked us when we were ready to do each activity and were wonderful at explaining the process of events that would occur that day! The food was excellent but the service was outstanding. They packed up all or cake and decorations and we were all able to dance and enjoy ourselves until the very last minutes of our event. They are very reasonably priced as well. We also brought in our own ceremony music and they did a wonderful job when one of the songs began to skip they just faded it out like it was suppose to happen. Beautiful garden area as well! We will be telling others to go to Christies perfect for a small wedding ours was abot 100 ppl. -

Gamble Wedding
Christies of Genesee were so easy to work with and helped make our big day turn out awesome. This place made everything very easy because it was all inclusive and the staff were all friendly and super accommodating. For couples choosing this great venue, make sure you have a plan to decorate because you only have an hour prior to the wedding to set up but like I said most everything is provided so it was not a hassle trying to set up. Overall we were super satisfied with the venue and staff at Christies of Genesee.Christies of Genesee's reply:

Completely perfect

Our daughter's wedding was outstanding. The staff was attentive and professional. I was so impressed, especially when rain came just before the ceremony. The bride had her heart set on being married outside. A young man spent at least 20 minutes with a big squeegee, removing water from the flagstones for her walk down the aisle. Food and service were wonderful!

Lori Sent on 09/13/2009This was the perfect venue for our wedding and reception. The ceremony was small - family only; immediately followed by our reception with 110 people. We found the place by visiting their open house on a Saturday morning. Daniel, the head Chef is the one we first made contact with. The entire experience was great. Our wedding day coordinator was very good to work with. The food was wonderful. Christies was exactly what we wanted for a venue.Christies of Genesee's reply:

Karen Sent on 10/28/2009This was a great place! I loved it. They did so much for so little and that really helped when I was working with a small budget. I just wish we could have taken home the left over food since a lot of people did not show up as it snowed on my wedding day. Even with the snow, everything there went great. The people were all nice and helped my through things that I wasnt quite sure on. Its a beautiful location. -

April Sent on 09/23/2009This was a beautiful venue and I would definitely recommend it to many brides having a smaller wedding - less than 100 people. The only problem I had was their flexibility - they were not willing to accomodate many special requests so this would probably not be the best place for a bride that is very particular. The location is beautiful, the food is great and the staff did a great job on the day of the wedding. -

User842275 Sent on 06/26/2012This venue was beautiful. For being on a bugdet it was the outdoor mountain wedding we hoped for. They catered the food, were our DJ, reception place as well as ceremony. It is kind of small but fit us woonderfully. The owners were hard to understand sometimes but the staff working on our wedding was the best. They were considerate, very nice to guests and us. They checked with us before anything went on. We were very pleased at the end of the day. -

Kendra Sent on 07/11/2008In general, our wedding was beautiful. Christie's is a great location with a beautiful outdoor setting. Our "wedding planner" for the event didn't even really speak English that well. I heard later from some guests that they couldn't hear the ceremony because of the noise from the highway outside. Also, there was a HUGE catastrophe with our music. We made CDs (which took hours) for every part of the event that we never heard over the speakers. And I don't know if the guests could even hear the music for the ceremony. When the dance music was supposed to be played, the DJ instead took requests rather than playing the music we MADE for it, labeled "DANCE MUSIC". It was infuriating. There was so much going on with guests and photographers and final things that we couldn't really step in. We still are upset about that part.
