10/10!! AMAZING, FANTASTIC, GENUINE, INCREDIBLE, SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPEALIDOCIOUS!! Honestly, I really do not feel words, or atleast my vocabulary, even begin to do Chris justice as a professional photographer and as a human being. While I was immediately interested in working with Chris from simply reading his "description of himself" and looking at his sample photos on his website, he immediately confirmed this for my husband and I when we sat down to meet him in-person for a "consultation" with him in regards to wedding photography. He is such a genuinely interesting and wonderfully nice guy, that my husband and I could talk to him and laugh with him for hours. This made taking pictures with him at both our engagement session and throughout our wedding day so, so enjoyable and authentic. My husband sincerely dislikes taking pictures, and Chris had Jason smiling and genuinely enjoying himself FOR A THREE HOUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION (whaaaaat!?!). This is because Chris is unique, interesting, fun, and has a style about himself as a photographer that "cues" and leads to authentic, real pictures -- not the same ol' staged wedding pictures that most everyone else gets. Just look through his sample albums, or ask him to give you our wedding album password, and you will see the genuine emotion in not only our pictures, but in the pictures of our many guests present on our wedding day. We chose Chris because of his incredible personality and his unique ability to capture the emotion of the moment from different, refreshing angles. The second shooter he brought with him on the day of our wedding, Parker, was seamless with Chris. They are yin and yang, Chick to the other's Fil-A. They work so well together, and Parker was also so fun to be around!! You don't realize how much you're around your photography team until the wedding is over, and they were truly like friends throughout the entire process! I could go on and on about how they pitch in doing things well beyond their scope (helping other vendors, helping my coordinator, etc), but I think I would eventually run out of space in this review thing. At the end of the day, we LOVED every second working with Chris, and his team; and I would pay double to work with them again (which says alot, because I'm very frugal!). YOU WILL NOT REGRET WORKING WITH CHRIS, HANDS DOWN!! We love you, Chris!!!!! -

I first met Chris at my best friends wedding in 2014/2015 and I have been obsessed with his pictures ever since. When I first reached out about our wedding, I was so surprised that he remembered me after so many years. My husband and I thought he was the kindest and most talented photographer we have ever met. Both of us are very awkward and don’t love having pictures taken of us but he made us feel so comfortable and both the engagement and wedding pictures turned out amazing! More than we ever could have wanted! 10/10 would recommend! -

Chris and Parker did such an amazing job with our engagement photos we knew that they were going to do amazing things with our wedding. I’d seen Chris’s work and after our introductory Zoom call I knew that he would be the perfect fit to add to our wedding professionals. When I told him that I wanted to take some wedding party photos in a tunnel that had all kinds of graffiti he didn’t even bat an eye. He’s so personable my husband and I were completely at ease and he has an amazing eye for photography. At one point during our reception he came to me and said, “grab Mike and come with me, there is some amazing light and we have to get some pictures” - yes sir! Where he placed us to photograph didn’t seem that special to us, but then he showed us the raw image that he just shot - holy cow! I can’t recommend Chris and Parker enough, awesome people and photographers. -

Choosing Sowing Clover for our wedding photography was one of the very best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. First (and probably most important) the photos we received back are nothing short of stunning. We got back such a perfect mix of candids, beautifully posed photos, and fun behind the scenes moments. He and his partner also had the BEST vibe the entire day. They showed up in such a fun mood and did a great job of keeping things lighthearted and fun and getting the whole bridal party to really relax and have a good time while we did photos. So many guests came up to us at the wedding to compliment the photography team and how fun/kind they were. I would absolutely recommend Chris to anyone hoping for the most incredible photos (And have! My sister has actually already booked him for her upcoming wedding!) So so grateful for the way Chris captured our special day. -

Our friends were all jealous of our photos!
We are SO glad we chose Sowing Clover for our wedding photos. Chris and Canaan did an incredible job at making us feel relaxed, comfortable, bringing out the beauty of our wedding day. The photos turned out spectacular and with a really timeless look that captured our guests and us. His rates are extremely reasonable and he’s a great communicator with a lot of experience. Definitely would go to him again for any photography needs. -

Wonderful experience for our wedding & amazing photographs!
With the number of wedding photographers out there to choose from, Chris at Sowing Clover Photography first gained our attention with his incredible portfolio; then it was his interest in our story and attentiveness to our desires for the big day. Even down to the timeline of how our wedding day unfolded, he gave expert insight and suggestions that relieved us of the stress of "How is it all going to come together?" He continually put us at ease with his professionalism and experience.
On our wedding weekend, he previewed the venues, was personable and approachable, and made sure that we relaxed! He reassured us that we could just focus on each other and the celebration, so it was a relief to know that the photos we wanted (and plenty that his creativity and hard work produced that we didn't even dream of) would be more than well taken care of.
In the end, he provided us with more than we could have asked for--superb quality and brilliant photographs that remind us of our special day, those present with us, and the joy and excitement that we hold on to. We more than recommend him as a wedding photographer and we are so happy we chose him for our big day! -

You need to hire Chris for your wedding. Not only are his photos AMAZING, but his personality makes the night so fun and carefree! If you are looking for a photographer to make taking pictures enjoyable and not awkward, Chris is definitely a fantastic option. Plus, our photos are beautifullll! -

I had the pleasure of working with Sowing Clover Photography in August 2019 and they quickly gained favorite status on my recommended photographers list. As a wedding planner, I think that the best photographers are the ones who capture the emotions and experiences of the day, who see details creatively, who can help their clients be relaxed and authentic while also keeping the timing on track, and who deliver photos that have a wow factor. Chris and Adam not only aced all of those qualities, they made the whole weekend more fun with their presence and then squeezed in an early morning underwater photo excursion with our couple on Sunday before catching their flight home. Favorite status all the way. I can't wait to work with Sowing Clover again! -

Chris was wonderful! He communicated very clearly throughout the entire process, was laid-back and comfortable, and seemed to be able to be in all places at once on our wedding day. Chris made my fella and I feel at ease and was a delight to be around. He is creative, attentive, and listens very well. Chris made even the most mundane places feel magical and beautiful in our photos. It's hard to put into words how thankful I am for Sowing Clover Photography. Long story short, our wedding ended up having a flash flood... which quickly turned into a mud pit. I was afraid everyone would leave, but Chris not only stayed... he actually got IN the mud with us and photographed all of our loyal mud loving family members and friends. Chris helped make our wedding an unforgettable night with beautiful and fun pictures despite the mud and rain. We chose Chris based on his good character, fun personality, charm, and iconic photography skills. You will not be disappointed. -

Chris was a pleasure to work with! We had a night time NYE Wedding so it was a very long day for all, but that did not stop Chris. He was zooming around the dance floor to get the perfect shot of everyone! Chris was very professional and flexible with all our requests through the day and night. He has a great eye for candid photos. We appreciated how quickly we got our photos back, about 3 weeks after the wedding. I would definitely recommend working with Chris & Sowing Clover Photography! -

Chris was absolutely amazing on my wedding day and the months leading up to the big day. He was professional yet personal. It was a joy to have him a part of the wedding in regards to personality, but when he returned the photos it made the experience that much sweeter. They were perfect! Chris was everywhere catching every little moment, yet he did not feel intrusive. He was able to capture both intimate moments and laughter. He even made my husband, who is uncomfortable being photographed, comfortable. As a bonus our guest loved him too. Chris’s photos are authentic and beautiful. He was able to work in the freezing cold, crazy wind and with difficult lighting and still produce pictures that you would never know that he had to overcome all these challenges. He is an incredibly hard worker and went the extra mile to make sure I had all the photos I wanted and more. You will not be disappointed if you book Chris as his talent is undeniable and his spirt is joyful, energetic, and creative. -

All I can say is WOW! Our wedding photos turned unbelievably beautiful. Chris captured every special moment during our wedding day and didn't miss a beat. He was literally in the middle of the dance floor with our guests snapping the most amazing and fun action photos. I'm still in awe how involved they were throughout the entire day & night without missing a single moment. His pricing is also unbeatable- especially considering they were there from the start of the morning until the wee hours of the night until sendoff. His personality made everything so fun and our guests loved having him around! Highly HIGHLY recommend booking him. -

Fun, beauty and flexibility
Absolutely loved Chris and his work! He and his 2nd photographer were fun, unobtrusive and flexible. There were a few off the cuff shots we wanted, and he had no problem stopping and switching gears for us. The photographs were beautiful! Would ask him to be a part of the wedding all over again. -

Coolest. Photographer. Ever.
I had so many guests tell me that Chris was the best photographer they had ever seen...and that was before they saw the pictures. He danced with the guests, he clipped a speaker to his belt to get the party going during group pictures, and at one point he was even LAYING on the dance floor taking pictures of the groomsmen singing "Friends in low places." He and Austin showed up to our hotel at 9:30am and they were with us until after the send-off at 10pm. His photos are natural looking, bright, and beautiful. They captured our big day perfectly!!! -
