Superb!! Look no further.

Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful job you did with the photography at our wedding. The pictures came out great! You guys captured our moments beautifully. The shots are creative, the angles are spot on! We absolutely love it! We knew that we selected the right person to capture our precious moment. These amazing pictures will remain in our family for the rest of our life even to our kids.

Chris and Ayya were amazing and the pictures were beautiful. We only had them with us for 4 hours and got plenty of great pictures - that was one of the reasons why we picked them in the first place- flexibility with hours of shooting time. Another selling point for me was that we got our pictures only after about a month! And last but not least-we had two photographers so two different angles and perspectives. I would Definitely recommend Chris and Ayya for your event-there is no nonsense, plenty of communication and follow up and value you can’t beat.

Captured our wedding day beautifully!

Chris and his wife did an amazing job on both our engagement and wedding photos! They were very responsive, flexible, and easy to work with. They made sure to get every detail of what we wanted for our photos on our big day and didn't miss a single moment or angle. We received our photos back in a very timely manner and they were absolutely stunning! I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for beautiful photos for their special day!

Great experience, great photographers!!

I wanted to thank Chris and his wife for taking such great photos, our family is in awwwww of the photos, we got everything we could have ever asked for and then extra. Chris & his wife Ayya were amazing to work with. They are very professional and kind people.
Once we met with them to do our engagement photos we knew we made the right choice. Our wedding day pictures went very smoothly. They came to the hotel while we were getting ready and stayed at our reception 'til just about the end. They captured our day beautifully and did not miss one shot. We couldn't be any happier! Superb Service

Chris & his wife are experienced and professional photographers that will do everything they can to capture everything you want on your big day. Between juggling my and my mother's ideas for pictures, they were able to capture everything and more. Bonus: They have creative impromptu ideas that you should always say "I do" too! :) You won't be disappointed in the classic and creative images you get PLUS every single picture from your 12+ hour wedding day!!

Choosing a wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions you can make in preparing for your BIG day! Chris and his lovely wife Ayya captured our engagement session and wedding day. We put all of our trust in them and were confident that they were the only photographers to capture all of the intimate details of these very special days for us. I booked my wedding date with Chris this week. When I met with him I just kinda knew he was right for our day. His price for a double shooter wedding and all that he includes was unbeatable. I was very pleased with his attention to detail and how he goes above and beyond to make us happy. I cant wait to see the amazing stuff him and his wife will do for us.

We were so happy to have Chris and Ayya for our wedding, we received our photos within 3 weeks and they were incredible, some photographers only gave the retouched photos and if you want more photos we have to pay again (based on my friend’s experience) but he gave all the photos either retouched and unedited. The wedding day passed so quickly but he caught so many details that we always remember and cherish forever through the photos. Thanks Chris and Ayya to make our wedding so memorable. Highly recommend!

Chris and Ayya were an absolute pleasure to work with. They kept everything very simple, stress-free, and were understanding and accommodating when we weren't sure what types of poses we wanted on our wedding day. They even brought past examples for us to try, which made the experience that much more fun. We also received both our photos and flash drive within a month of our wedding (much faster than a lot of our friends and family), but they don't look rushed-through in the slightest. We couldn't be happier with their friendliness and professionalism throughout the whole process.

Chris and his wife were absolutely amazing! They captured every single moment, nothing was missed! I felt confident having selected him from the beginning to the end. He was great to work with and really took into account what I as the bride wanted! The photos are absolutely amazing and everyone has commented how beautiful they look and how attentive they were in capturing the moments of my wedding day! We even received our photos for viewing in about a month after the wedding, which was crazy fast considering most timelines I've heard from other brides! I highly recommend them for your wedding! My wife and I were referred to Chris through Wedding Wire. We had a late start to looking for vendors last spring with our wedding in October, but after looking online and checking out his website, we gave Chris a call and set-up a meeting. We met him at a Panera bread where we discussed types of photos, venue location, wedding date/time, and all the while looking through his past photo collections for other weddings. My wife and I became quite comfortable with Chris and decided that night after our initial meeting to send in a signed contract with our initial deposit of $100. Throughout the course of the next 8 months leading up to our wedding, Chris emailed updates and checked in to see what types of shots we wanted. He said we were more than welcome to use ideas from Pinterest and if we had any questions to let him know prior to and up to the date of our event.

On the day of our event, Chris and his wife arrived early. We had booked his services for 10 hours, which was plenty enough time for him to get all the shots he needed and we wanted. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the wonderful job he and his wife did the day of our event. That evening he let us know it would take about 4-6 weeks for completion of our photos. We received an email on week 5 with links to view edited photos through Google and Dropbox, so it was easier to download. He placed our CD's in the mail with all the original unedited photos and said if we had anymore questions to send him an email.

Like I said though, my wife and I were extremely pleased with Chris and his wife's professionalism and photography. They did an excellent job for our wedding and we definitely recommend their services. Thanks so much Chris and Aria!

I can't say enough about this company. Chris and his wife did the most amazing job capturing our wedding. Not only did they capture all of the moments we wanted them to, they captured the overall feel of the wedding. The pictures are so beautiful I can't stop looking at them. Turnaround time was so fast, and they were incredibly responsive. These are pictures my husband and I will cherish forever.

Chris is the top pick for wedding photography in Northeast Ohio! He and his wife captured all the wonderful moments of our wedding day in beautiful and creative ways. He was accommodating when family members requested additional group portraits and used our National Park setting to its fullest. We received our photo links much earlier than expected with about 1,000 shots and couldn't be more impressed. I will recommend to everyone I know!!!

My husband and I are not the type who wanted to spend a lot of time posing for photos or running around to different locations etc. Chris and his wife were very respectful of that and were able to quickly get all of the family and bridal party photos done to maximize our time enjoying the expensive party we planned for months! They took lovely getting ready photos, and made me feel completely comfortable. I also heard a handful of friends comment on their ability to capture the best candid shots without being in the way. The best part of working with Chris was that he listened closely to what we wanted and provided the exact service we were looking for.

Chris was easy to work with and did a great photo book for us as well and the prices were very reasonable. He tried very hard to get photos in that we thought would be impossible because it had rained that day. However, when it stopped raining, we were able to get most outdoor pictures we wanted and he was very flexible as to what we needed that day such as going to other locations, etc.

Among all of the activity and nerves of your wedding day, Chris is a true professional! Very patient and flexible with family and the wedding party. Our pictures were unique and very artfully done! Chris is a very talented photographer and definitely knows how to work with different types of lighting. We had dance floor lighting, up lighting and other lighting as well at our wedding all of the pictures turned out wonderful. Also, you get the rights to ALL of the pictures which is so great, because we ended up with thousands of pictures capturing each moment of our wedding day! Chris and his wife provided better service than I could ever have imagined! They were very friendly and professional. He encouraged us to send him lots of sample pictures so he could capture exactly what we were looking for. The day of the wedding his wife had all the picture ideas I had submitted on her phone and made sure to get every pose we requested. My family loved all the creative shots we did and we've had nothing but compliments on our album! Chris also provided us with 6 disc! That's over 1000 photos! We got over 800 edited photos, about another 800 black and whites, and then every picture they both took in addition on the other discs. They didn't miss a moment or a shot! I would highly recommend! If your interested in seeing some of our artsy shots I will gladly share.

Chris Smanto and his team were absolutely fantastic! We couldn't have been happier with our pictures and the entire process. He was fast and proficient and knew what poses to do and in what order to do them. He left us with zero guess work which was great because we already had so much going on. Thank you so much Chris Smanto photography for all you did for us and for getting us our pictures a week after our wedding! We wouldn't reccommend anyone else!

Chris was an amazing photographer. Our wedding pictures turned out beautiful and he was super helpful and accommodating when it rained during our wedding photo time. He provided us with all the pictures he took. We really enjoyed working with Chris. He had great ideas and made us feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend him highly!

Chris and his wife are great to work with! Very flexible with time limitations and rescheduling. We couldn't be happier with the engagement and wedding pictures they took!! Our family and friends have been raving about them ever since. I personally appreciated the constant communication back and forth on various subjects. It is beyond obvious that you get so much more from Chris in high quality and professionalism than other photographers in the area. Also, their pricing is quite reasonable in comparison. Being able to receive the photos in only 2 weeks after the events was a HUGE plus, which included all of the originals, retouched, black and white, and if I wanted any others specifically done or a special way, all I had to do was ask. I highly recommend these folks and will be a repeat customer!

Chris & Ayya Smanto were wonderful! They were very professional, but also had fun and joked around with us, putting everyone at ease. The photgraphs, edited and unedited, that we received were amazing. They caught every moment of our big day! I am very pleased with that, as I busy getting ready and preparing for the big day. I can now look through the pictures and relive the day! The communication in planning for the big day as well as communication on the wedding day was great, took a lot of woory off my shoulders. Thank you so much Chris and Ayya - we couldn't be happier!!

If you are looking for a professional photographer to capture your wedding, you will not regret it if you choose Chris Smanto to do the job. He truly went above and beyond my expectation for photos. He gave us every photo that was taken and the ones that he retouched are simply beautiful. I will forever be able to look back at my wedding photos and relive my wedding day. He is wonderful to work with and very flexible. He was very prompt at answering my emails and offering advice along the way. He asked us about specific poses we wanted to incorporate and did his best to accommodate us at our venue. He and his wife are very nice and were creative and professional on my wedding day. His experience really showed on the day of my wedding and in the photos I received. I cannot say enough good things about this photographer!

Chris did an AMAZING job capturing our wedding day (as well as our engagement pictures!). Chris is very professional, prompt, personable, and talented. Chris and his wife photographed our wedding on June 21, 2014. They were excellent! Not only are the pictures amazing, but it was wonderful to work with Chris. From the beginning, he was very responsive and answered all of our questions. Chris and his wife came early to photograph myself and the bridesmaids getting ready. It was a busy morning in some small areas, but Chris and Ayya worked well with everyone, including our videographer, and made us all feel comfortable. At the church they did not overwhelm the ceremony (no loud clicking!) and were very discreet while still managing to capture every moment. We then traveled to Wendy Park, the Flats, and our venue, Windows on the River. Chris and Ayya had excellent ideas for poses and took candid shots as well. They were open to our ideas and respectful of our wishes. We had a lot of settings and backdrops. They worked quickly and helped to move the bridal party along without being pushy, bossy, or annoying. Everyone in our bridal party complimented and thanked them. They made our wedding day so much fun. It was truly enjoyable to work with them. When asked to stay later, they had no issue with extending their time by two hours. They then worked to retouch over 1000 of our photographs and had them available online and the digital copies in the mail in a week and a half! The pictures are really beautiful, and we could not be happier!

Chris was very helpful and his photos very amazing. I was happy to get all the digital photos within 2 weeks. This is nice to get them fast and be able to share my photos immediately with family all over the country and the world.

Chris is great photographer me and my wife were very pleased with him . He showed up earlier and stayed later to make sure everything went well and capture lots beautiful pictures. I defently recommend him for weddings. I couldn't ask for better photographer in my wedding day.

I can't thank Chris and his team enough for our wedding photography. I have SO many great pictures - I am having such a hard time figuring out which ones to print and display in our home. Chris and his assistants did a great job of capturing everything about our big day. He also gives you the prints so that you can choose to have them printed where you please (you don't have to print through him). I found this to be a great value because I now have CDs with all of my pictures from my wedding. He was also very efficient in getting our edited photos to us (we got them as soon as we got back from the honeymoon). I was able to give Chris our picture requests and he did his best to get everything we wanted. I'd highly recommend him for great photography at a great value!

Captured the moment

The pictures while they were fantastic, were lacking in facial close ups. There were a lot that captured candid moments throughout the day, but looking back there is no clear picture of both of us looking at the camera. I would have appreciated more direction while taking pictures if it was noticed everything seemed a profile rather than straight on.

Chris's photos were fantastic! However is inability work with large groups made him an average photographer. He also did not take the time to meet with us prior so a lot of photos that I would have liked to have had were missed. It was my responsibility to have a list of photos written out as well as poses and have my maid of honor make sure they were shot during the day. Overall I think the quality of his work is great but he needs to spend more time getting to know the bride and groom as well as what they are looking for on their big day!

Chris and his wife are very nice and easy to work with, but you have to tell them exactly what you want. I had a list/sample images that were provided prior to the big day and on that day they were going through the samples on their phone asking me what I wanted. As you know there is limited time for photos and we were trying to avoid rain so there was no time for me to choose the poses I wanted...again. The angels at which we were photographed were not flattering, most were straight on or from an upward angle - hello double chin - and we were not posed to make us or our attire look good at all. I don't hate all our pictures, but there is not one that I can hang on our wall. I have talked my self into liking them based on the memories of the day, not the actual images. Some of the sample photos they had were spectacular, but on our day they seemed a bit off and kind of showed a lack of creativity.

I hate to post a mediocre review as this is there bread and butter, but its been over a year and I am still disappointed when I look at our pictures.
