Excellent DJ!

We had the pleasure of working with Chris Laich as our wedding DJ, and he was absolutely fantastic! From the start, Chris was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to go over every detail with us. He was always available to answer questions and helped guide us through the planning process.

Our main goal was to create a fun and lively atmosphere that would keep our guests dancing all night, and Chris nailed it! He took our playlist seriously and made sure nothing from our "do not play" list sneaked in, which we really appreciated. The venue itself was a historic mansion, so it had some unique audio needs, but Chris was a pro. Having worked at the venue many times, he was already familiar with the layout and made sure all the sound equipment was set up perfectly, even for the different spots at the reception. We got married outdoors, and everything went off without a hitch thanks to Chris.

One of the standout moments was when we fell behind on our timeline. Chris noticed it and came to us to let us know, but reassured us that everything was fine. He smoothly adjusted things and helped keep the day moving, making sure the event flowed naturally despite the delays.

Overall, working with Chris Laich was a pleasure. He was a great DJ who helped create an energetic, fun environment while also keeping everything running smoothly. We highly recommend him for anyone looking for a professional and personable DJ who truly knows how to keep the party going!

Best dj ever

Chris was one of our favorite vendors we hired for our wedding. From our first phonecall, Chris's energy was infectious. He is a true talent and made our wedding sound, lighting, and music absolutely perfect. Our venue was a challenge with acoustics and Chris ensured that everyone could hear music/speeches from anywhere on the property. We also hired him to light our reception space and he did a phenomenal job. Look no further for the best DJ and sound man in the DMV!

Chris was fantastic!

We hired Chris as our DJ and have zero regrets. We hired him about a year out and were impressed with his experience. But even with all that, he was always about what our choices were and was flexible on that -- he found the exact versions of songs we requested (including a song from a Disney movie that I really wanted to play during the reception). In addition to keeping to our timeline and keeping the party going through the night, Chris also did the sound for our ceremony and provided uplighting for the venue. Overall, we loved working with Chris and would do so again!

Best Wedding DJ

We are so happy we booked Chris to be the DJ at our wedding in September 2022. He did an excellent job and our friends left the wedding wishing it went longer because they were having so much fun on the dance floor. We got so busy with planning the month prior to our wedding that we gave Chris very little guidance but he did a perfect job reading the room and creating the perfect atmosphere. He is meticulous with his work and doesn't miss any details - he was our second wedding planner making sure the day ran smoothly. He did the mics and music for our ceremony and it went beautifully. He also did uplighting around our venue which turned out great and added to the festive mood. Highly recommend!

Confidence to Relax

I loved that Chris was professional and accommodating. His experience made me confident that he’d know what to do when and be able to problem solve as needed. He was extremely responsive and easy to get a hold of. His musical blending was excellent. He included all of the music I wanted and made it work for me to have a hymn and instrumental background for a friend who sang during the ceremony. It felt like he was personally invested in us as people and you could tell he cared and likes his job. You instantly feel like he has control over all the moving parts. We also got uplighting from him which as you can tell from these pictures looked great!

Best dj ever!

Very great great DJ!!!

I have been to several weddings, however this DJ is the BEST I have ever seen!
He respond very fast every time so it made me feel so comfortable. He did DJing more than 2000 weddings already, so trust me you will love him so much!
He knows about weddings a lot, so he gave us many suggestions when we have questions. Very helpful.

We chose our "Must Music", and his arrangement was perfect! All of the music always comes at the perfect time!
The MC was also so good, loved his voice!

A cut above

Chris is incredible! The DJ was the vendor I was probably the most nervous about choosing, because my husband is a huge audiophile and had a LOT of strong ideas and opinions. We wanted someone who would be able to play a lot of great crowdpleasers, but would also cover his (and his friends) EDM tastes later in the night. In addition, we had an incredibly logistically complicated wedding: a hybrid Jewish-Hindu wedding with different tracks for him to play during the ceremony, and a baraat at a venue that had never done one before. Chris did an incredible job getting the audio all across our venue, Woodend--the sound was perfect throughout--and nailing every cue. His attention to detail is remarkable. There wasn't a single dud tune that drove everybody off the floor, and he even mixed the tunes perfectly in between (something my husband cared about a lot) as if it were an EDM concert. He even went above and beyond, loaning his personal computer monitors to serve as TVs (we had babysitters upstairs for our little-kid guests). Chris will talk--a lot--with you on the phone, but his announcement/DJ demeanor is calm and minimalist, which we loved. He was probably my most responsive vendor, responding to every email or question within the hour. He does cost more than most DJs in the area, but considering how much equipment and extras we needed for the baraat, we really appreciated how straightforward his pricing was, and honestly, he is a cut above the other DJs we've seen at weddings and that we interviewed. For us, it was well worth it.

Fabulous Experience

We had such a terrific experience working with Chris, and our guests had a blast.

My husband and I had no clue where to start or what to look for in a DJ, but Chris met us exactly where we were, really took the time to explain things to us, and listened to our concerns and personal preferences. He was always super responsive to any questions and we felt so confident going into our wedding that we were in good hands and totally trusted Chris.

I would highly recommend Chris. He was so easy to work with and our guests all had a fabulous time.

Simply the best!

We hired DJ Chris Laich for our 80 person wedding in May 2022. He provided music, speakers, and microphones for our ceremony space, cocktail hour, and reception. He was excellent! You know from your first call with Chris that he feel really confident in his services and he absolutely delivers. He played our playlist and then added in other songs that fit perfectly. Our guests raved about him and he gave us one less thing to worry about day of. Cannot recommend him enough!

Great wedding DJ!

We met Chris at a vendor open house our venue was hosting about a year before our wedding, and booked him a few months later. What a great decision that turned out to be! Chris had worked several events at our venue before (The Woodlands at Algonkian) so it was a huge weight off our shoulders to have one less thing to coordinate - his experience made us comfortable that everything would flow smoothly on the day, and it did! He was super helpful with ceremony music selections, and even made us a custom track for the processional when the selection we wanted wasn't quite long enough. As for the reception, we gave him a list of maybe a dozen songs, said "this is the vibe we're looking for" and trusted him to build out the playlist from there. He did an AMAZING job, kept our guests on the dance floor all night, and it was one less thing on our plates - truly invaluable during the crunch time of wedding planning. He also provided uplighting at our venue that really elevated the look of the space!

Best of the best!

Chris is the best DJ in the game! He is professional, organized, and super personable. He is extremely knowledgeable about the industry, and offered us several great pieces of advice that helped our event flow smoothly, like when to do parent dances, how many songs to use for our processional, etc. He also cued all of our songs perfectly for each event of the night, and having him as our MC helped keep things moving according to our timeline. Our event was small, only about 30 guests, but Chris kept the dance floor moving and grooving all night. I would recommend Chris to everyone!

Danced the night away

Our friends had hired Chris Laich Music for their wedding, so when it was our turn we knew who to choose! DJ Bill provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and every song choice was perfect! We wanted our guests to stay on the dance floor and they were there dancing the night way until the very last song! DJ Bill was super responsive and answered all of our questions (like what length song do we need for the processional and how will our guests hear us read our vows). He got to the venue early to scope everything out and set up his equipment. You could hear the music throughout the venue, which was great! 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent DJ Services!

Chris was our first wedding vendor booked after we committed to our reception space as having a quality DJ for our ceremony and reception was paramount in our wedding planning process. He met every conversation with such enthusiasm towards his work, honest feedback regarding each of our timeline decisions, and was supportive and encouraging about all of our selections. Our ceremony music was executed perfectly, and his speakers are small and of extremely high quality. Chris provides uplighting as well, if desired, for an additional cost, which helped transform our reception space. We did not have a wedding coordinator, and Chris took command of the room in a very unobtrusive way once we started dinner (ie, he did not talk too much, but rather swiftly kept things moving and pronounced everything perfectly). He seamlessly guided the room through dinner, toasts, first dances, and then dancing for the rest of the night, much like his music transitions on the dance floor. Chris helped us develop our first dance mashup with our guidance, and made it come to life. He did this as part of our whole package even though we asked for help with this after committing to everything. It was one of our favorite memories from our day and we were so thankful for his help. We would highly recommend Chris as you will be getting a skilled veteran in the industry who has perfected his craft, is extremely knowledgeable about music, and will help guide you through what could have been a very stressful reception!

Amazing DJ with a company who cares.

This review is for Chris Laich's company and Bill the DJ.

Long story short, I had to cancel my international wedding and re-plan a whole wedding in 6 weeks. After calling more vendors than I can remember, I landed on Chris Laich; after hearing what happened Chris told me he could help me out however he wont be able to be my DJ but his partner Bill would be able to fit me in. Man of man, how did I get so lucky!? Chris was amazing when we talked; he walked me though everything and gave me great advice on timelines. This company's equipment was exactly what I needed; they have a full wireless set up that was all in sync with each other! We had a couple guest who was late but they were able to hear everything happening at the ceremony (down on a golf course) while not being at area themselves. Bill was an amazing DJ, why? He simply cared! He make sure to talk to us about timeline and to make everything flow perfectly. He called to make sure he had the right pronunciation of names, he built us a playlist based on what we wanted (we didn't know what we wanted), he was on time and literally got the whole wedding flowing the way it should.

I could go on and on about both Chris & Bill but in short, they are amazing. They deserve this 5 star and I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Reliable and knowledgeable DJ

Chris was way more than a DJ for us--he made a great referral for our coordinator, helped us come up with a timeline for the night that we were comfortable with, and was just generally fun to work with. Made Sure We Danced All Night Long

Chris was a pleasure to work with and made our wedding the party we always wanted it to be.

Chris was very knowledgable about using music to help the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception flow together. Chris started the day doing the music for our wedding ceremony and coordinated the timing perfectly.
He has a great understanding of how to select songs to keep people on the dance floor.

His music system made it easy for us to let him know the songs that we wanted to have played throughout the day and he helped us make sure that those songs were played at the best possible time.

He worked very well with our other vendors on our wedding to day to help manage the entrances of our wedding party at the ceremony and different events throughout the reception (Grand Entrance, first dance, cake cutting, etc.).

We highly recommend Chris Laich Music Services.

Wonderful!!

We hired Chris Laich DJ services and were matched with DJ Bill Irwin. Both Chris and Bill were so professional, responsive and talented. During a crazy chaotic year, our DJ Bill Irwin made sure we knew he was ready to DJ at our event which was much appreciated! Bill listened to our requests, kept the dance floor lively (even when we had to cut out guest list to a smaller group). Bill was able to check-in with my husband and I during the event as well as read the reception to create an unforgettable dance floor. They also set up white up-lighting and it was so beautiful in our venue. Loved using Chris Laich DJ services and couldn't recommend them more!

Chris is the BEST!

We used Chris to DJ our recent wedding, and it was one of our best decisions! Chris was amazing!!! We loved working with him. He was fun and professional. Besides being a great DJ, he really knows the wedding industry. In fact, you can probably do without a wedding planner because Chris really helped us set all of the timing for our big day.

Besides playing all the music we liked, he introduced every aspect of the wedding - cake cutting, first dance, speeches, etc. He even gave us some suggestions that helped personalize our big day.

We had multiple guests comment on Chris and how much they liked him. We thought he did the best job and was one of the best vendors we hired for the wedding. If we hold any other event in the future, we are definitely giving him a call!

We Loved Chris!

Chris Laich was our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception DJ and he was amazing!! Chris is a total pro, which is clear from the first time you talk with him. He was referred to us by our wedding planner and we are so glad he was! He walked us through his entire, thorough process from setup to take down. We knew that hiring someone so detail oriented would mean we would have to worry about zero details on our big day, and that was very much the case! Chris setup discrete speakers for our ceremony and provided microphones for our officiant, our readers, and the bride and groom so everyone could hear all of us. The cocktail hour music was lovely and he kept the party going all night, the dance floor was never empty. Chris also did the uplighting of our venue, which was absolutely gorgeous. We would highly recommend hiring Chris, he will make sure your event is a hit!

Got everyone dancing!

Chris was recommended to us by a good friend and after talking to Chris it was a no brainer to go with him. Chris was booked the day of our wedding, so Bill was our DJ on the actual day. Bill was great! Responsive, walked through day of timeline with us, asked all the right questions to make sure we had thought through everything regarding music and tempo and vibe all the way from pre-ceremony music to the last song.

Bill let us be very specific about our music - like provided our own playlists specific! - and would add his advice and suggestions as he saw fit, while still ensuring he was letting us drive the vision we wanted. For parts of the evening where we didn't provide a lot of specifics, Bill took care of everything and adjusted the music to the mood in the room.

I was worried about going with a DJ at first, but Bill got everyone dancing from the first dance to the end and was a pleasure to work with!

I knew right away

I sent in a request for information to Chris and from the first 10 mins on the phone with him I knew he was the DJ for us and I was so right! He was amazing! Our friends loved the music and so did our parents! It was a great mix of music! He knows what he’s talking about and he helped so much with even giving us his thoughts on how the day should go based on the venue you picked! I highly recommend!!

Made the wedding!

Chris was the DJ at my sister's wedding 8 years ago and I knew we wanted to book him as soon as we confirmed our wedding date! He was great to work with leading up to the wedding (asking about our priorities, confirming song requests, etc). And the music at the wedding itself was incredible!!! He started with some more of our classic requests (Motown, etc) and steadily built up throughout the night to more modern music so that the last two hours of the reception had a completely packed dance floor! Our guests (parents and friends alike) were all raving about Chris and we truly could not have asked for a better party! We had the utmost confidence that Chris would make sure all of the different aspects of the night flowed well and he exceeded expectations--we cannot recommend him highly enough!

We were so happy with our decision to hire Chris as our DJ. Best DJ ever!

We got married in April 2019 and Chris was our DJ. We can’t say enough good things! He was so thorough and responsive through the entire planning process. He did an amazing job with all the music - from the ceremony to dinner to the reception. He played exactly the music we liked and was super upbeat and got our guests up and dancing. He was also able to supply our gorgeous uplighting at a really reasonable price. Would 100% recommend him!

Highly recommend!

We worked with Chris himself (as opposed to one of his associates). You will definitely pay more for Chris than the average market rate, but the investment is definitely worth it. The DJ has a uniquely large impact on the "feel" of your wedding, and is frankly in a position to make or break the event. We appreciated that Chris was forthright and up front about the fact that his prices were above average and that he explained why he believed he was worth the extra money. After our wedding, we can say that he definitely was worth it. Chris is very enthusiastic, and to be honest, it can be tough to get a word in when talking with him sometimes, but that's what you want in a DJ--someone who isn't going to be at a loss for words and who will keep the event (and party) flowing. He did a GREAT job listening to us re: our music preferences, and we couldn't be happier with how he managed the dance floor and the flow of the party. Highly recommend!

Great music that will make your reception memorable!

Chris Laich is a fantastic DJ and experienced in managing the flow of a wedding. He helped make our day special and fun. He facilitated our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music. He made our first dance special, and tailored it to what we wanted. We danced all night and all of our guests had a great time, in no small part due to his efforts. Incredible!

Chris is an incredible DJ! Not only does he play great music but he is very knowledgeable about weddings in general. Working with him was a huge relief, there were so many little details that we had no idea were so important! Chris knows how to keep people dancing! For days after our wedding we heard, "I kept wanting to sit down and take a break from dancing but each song was just so good I couldn't stop!" We are so thankful to have had Chris DJ our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. His equipment is powerful yet sleek. We couldn't have done it without him! Everyone was sore from dancing, my husband ripped his pants from dropping it low and so did his groomsmen! 100% would recommend!

We worked with Aaron Platt for our ceremony and reception and cannot say enough good things about him. He kept everything flowing seamlessly and we didn't once have to worry that the schedule was off. He did a great job "reading the room" and played music that kept guests dancing all night. Chris is a true professional, went above and beyond

Chris thinks of everything sound related. He worked seamlessly with our live musicians and officiants for the ceremony/cocktail hour, and ran everything for the reception and dancing, including mics for toasts and dinner music. He offered ideas for how to integrate with our recording devices and provided us with files that we needed, which was a huge help to us and beyond what we expected from him. It also helped that he has worked so often with our venue, Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, so he knew the space and the staff there, further alleviating the need for us to think of everything little thing. On top of this, Chris knows music. We had a somewhat unconventional song selection, but he understood our taste immediately and mixed songs together, read the dance floor, etc. We were very happy with everything. Highly recommend. Met Chris at an event open house and he impressed me with his experience and knowledge with weddings. So happy we hired him! The evening and music were perfect. We had a great experience with DJ Chris Laich at our wedding in August! He was easy to work and communicate with throughout the entire wedding planning process. He was very responsive, quick to answer any questions, and offer any advice/suggestions needed. The month prior to the wedding, we utilized his music portal (which was user-friendly and intuitive) for song requests as well as had a phone call with him to discuss all of the music. We could tell he was very experienced and definitely knew what he was doing - so it was reassuring to know the music was in good hands!

During the wedding, the music was the right mood before and during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He also did a great job emceeing - announcing names, any special events e.g. family photos, cake cutting, shuttle times etc. He offers uplighting as on additional service which looked great in our reception hall.

We received compliments all night and even after the wedding that the music variety was perfect! Our guests had so much fun out on the dance floor with songs from various eras as well as some fun group dances! Overall, DJ Chris Laich was a huge hit at our wedding and we would highly recommend him for any event!!

This was my "out of sight out of mind" vendor. I honestly didn't have any special needs or requirements for music--and hadn't put really any thought into it at all. Chris' online planning service was super helpful and easy to get through all of the important things I didn't even realize I should have thought about. Day of he was absolutely professional, and seasoned. He set up and tore down like a ghost, needing no assistance or even notice. The song selection was a wonderful mix of everything--including fantastic covers of songs I want to have on my iPod!
Overall I would not hesitate to recommend Chris Laich to anyone for any DJ need.

We really enjoyed having Chris for our wedding DJ. I was initially concerned about the dance floor of my venue, because it was in a historic mansion, so not the easiest space. I went with Chris because he had worked at the venue before, and was able to explain to me how everything would be set up and put my fears to rest. He was really flexible on the set-up and where he would be located. I knew on the day of the wedding, I didn't need to be stressed about about microphones or music, which was great. Most importantly, the music was awesome. He played all the songs I wanted, kept the dance floor going, and added fun transitions between songs. Overall you can tell he is a professional and knows what he is doing.

Chris was extremely professional and accommodating throughout the process. He gave great suggestions and really helped us navigate through the process. He was available to meet in person, chat over the phone and put together a great playlist for the whole party. After being to many weddings, my husband and I realized how important good entertainment is to the life of the reception. Add in that my husband is a little bit of an audiophile, and we were very selective in our choice for ceremony audio and reception entertainment. Michael Tate, part of Chris Laich Music Services, was exactly who we wanted. Our ceremony was seamlessly wired for sound, and we had no audio issues. For the reception, Michael continued his great work by keeping the dance floor packed! We also had several cuts for music (entrances, cake cutting, etc.) and Michael did not miss a beat with any of them. The portfolio of music Michael had was broad, and he was able to please the musical taste of multiple generations! Even though the price was higher than what my husband and I were expecting to play for a DJ, they are worth even penny and were honest and transparent with us throughout the process. We highly recommend Michael and the rest of the Chris Laich team!

Chris did a fabulous job at my wedding. We had a three location set up from the wedding and cocktail hour, both outdoors, to the indoor reception. We had microphones magically in place at the exact moment they were needed and he even provided a string quartet for our ceremony. At the reception he kept our party going strong until the very end! Chris delivered on our wedding day! Based on our music tastes, Chris was able to play and mix songs that kept the reception going, and our guests on the dance floor. We were very lucky to get Chris Laich as our DJ and MC for our wedding. Chris is passionate about his business which probably explains why he is so popular. But he doesn't only deal with the big million-dollar venues. He also will work with a couple (such as us) to come up with a package that fits their budget and truly gives a wedding that extra something. We went with Chris because of his reputation. We were on a budget and we weren't sure if we could afford Chris. When we got his estimate (which included lighting) it was a little more than we wanted to spend but not too much more. Boy are we glad we went with him! He made the wedding banquet room look amazing and he kept the wedding lively throughout the evening. He also recommended another vendor who fit our budget who also worked out great. We know that Chris is not always available for all weddings--according to our other vendors, all of his DJs are excellent--but in our case we feel very fortunate that we had the master running the show. Very professional and reliable! We highly recommend him!

Chris did an amazing job DJ-ing our wedding. He was full of good ideas, but also very focused on making the day exactly what we wanted. He made a concerted effort to pronounce all of the names of our bridal party correctly (something that is often overlooked, but is just so nice when done correctly). And on the day-of, he arrived early, got set-up, and had everything running smoothly in plenty of time. His mics were great, his lights were great, and he did a great job of speaking to the guests when needed, but otherwise letting the music do the work. Perhaps most importantly, he followed our list of songs almost entirely (I think he played 1 or 2 songs that weren't on the list, but he otherwise played all of the music that we asked him to). I would definitely recommend Chris!

Let me start off by saying Chris's services are much more than just a DJ Who shows up for a wedding and hits bottoms. He offers an experience that can't be bought. He knows not only the top best music choices but also how to run and manage a wedding crowd. His equipment is top of the line quality and you can tell. He also does a fantastic job on making you know he is there but also invisible.

He never once made the crowd feel awkward or out of place. He managed to turn the whole dance floor and venue into a giant party. I have nothing but great things to say about him. His price is 100000% worth every penny. You will not be disappointed.

We didn't give him a ton of specifics, but he was able to creatively put together great, fun, varied music. Additionally, his energy is contagious - he does not phone it in. Chris went above and beyond our expectations to make the music during our reception perfect and seem-less. We had a ton of requested songs and somehow Chris was able to work them all in at the perfect times throughout the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. He even had some unique remixes of some of our requested songs that fit the mood perfectly. When looking for a DJ I was originally expecting good music without distracting too much from family and friends. Instead, with Chris, the music seemed to elevate the reception to the perfect level of energy and kept everyone engaged and having fun the whole night. We had Aaron, from Chris Laich Music Services DJ our wedding. We initially spoke with Chris but we didn't feel it was a great personality match for us, so we asked to speak to Aaron and were more comfortable with him. The sound quality was amazing (Chris will tell you that his sound system is unparalleled in DC... I can't say for sure if it is or not, but everything sounded perfect for us. This was super important to us because we've known people who were married at our venue (a large, marble covered museum) and we've been warned that sound quality can be terrible - many people said that they couldn't hear anything during ceremony/speeches, and we wanted to avoid that. Well, huge success on that front.

Additionally Aaron CRUSHED IT as a DJ. My husband and I were very free about the playlist, and I was AMAZED by how well Chris kept everyone dancing. I don't think I've ever seen a wedding with such a packed lively dance floor. Worth every penny.

WOW! I cannot tell you how amazing Chris Laich was for our wedding. We had a huge range of ages present (young people, older couples, families, etc) and everyone we've spoken to has said they had a blast. More specifically, everyone has mentioned that the dance floor was packed all night - thanks largely to Chris! He was wonderful to work with and was very accommodating, especially considering that my fiance and I were living out of state. He was helpful and made some good spur of the moment decisions during the reception that helped make it such a fun night. He also was able to easily work with our other vendors and our planner. He followed our requests but we also let him have the flexibility to decide much of the music. Choosing Chris was the best decision we made!

Chris was AMAZING! I was very picky about who I selected as my DJ and when Chris and I spoke on the phone for the first time, he was extremely patient with me and spent a very long time answering all of the questions that I had for him and made me feel extremely comfortable about why I should use him. ROSS is amazing!! My husband and I met with Ross one time about 3 weeks before our wedding (we procrastinated) and immediately I felt at ease. Ross is a true professional and took the stress away. He was very accommodating with the music we wanted to play and made it happen without any question. Our First dance song was also a tricky one, but him and Chris were able to edit the song to fit our needs. I would highly recommend Chris Laich and Ross for your wedding. The dance floor was packed the whole night! Only down side was we had so much fun we didn't get to eat any cake :)

Our DJ was Aaron. And I am SOOO happy that we chose you guys!!
We met with Aaron over the phone before the wedding and talked about everything for the wedding! He was so helpful with choosing songs or how things should work. I was a little nervous (like everyone is) that having a DJ would be cheesy or they would say/play goofy stuff, but Aaron was THE BEST. He knows what he is doing, nothing cheesy or weird at all. He has DJ-ing down to a science. Everyone was out on the dance floor the minute that he started playing music. I got complements about him all night!!
We had him introduce the wedding party and right before we were announced he came to make sure we were all ready to go and lined up. He double checked with everyone that he had their name right. And at the last minute the groom and my parents decided they wanted to be announced along with us. And with no hesitation at all Aaron was on it and our parents were announced! He was so open to everything.
We did have a little timing problem (which was my fault) between the venue and Aaron, but everything was fixed and ran perfectly! You never would have known!!
Thank you Aaron for making that night so perfect!! The things we cared about the most (first dance, our last song, and the father/daughter and mother/son dance) were all perfect. I kept seeing reviews from other DJ companys that DJs would mess those up, but you did everything wonderfully.

My husband and I hired Chris as our wedding DJ and we could not have been happier! Chris handled our ceremony music as well as our reception music, and he knocked it out of the park. The dance floor at our reception was PACKED all night long!! There was never a lull in the energy either- every.single.song. was amazing! Our guests kept commenting on how much they loved the music and that our wedding was one of the most fun weddings they have ever attended. Even to this day our guests tell us the same thing. Chris Laich was our DJ at our recent wedding at The Hay-Adams Hotel in DC. Music is such an important part of setting the mood for an event and Chris did an outstanding job. Chris kept the energy up and also had special uplighting which he used to enhance the visual appeal of an already beautiful venue. Everybody agreed it was such a great party and we are so glad we picked Chris to be such an important part of our big day. Do not hesitate to contact Chris if you are looking for a great DJ for your big event.

My husband and I knew that music was the most important part of our reception, so we wanted to make sure we booked the best of the best -- and that we did! We were honored to have Chris Laich DJ our event last October. Chris is most definitely a true professional and takes his job very seriously -- from start to finish, Chris was easy to communicate with and really worked to create a playlist that worked with our music preferences -- he also MC'd our event and did a phenomenal job (everyone commented on how great the DJ was). Chris made our wedding day amazing! I began to feel especially good about Chris after we met him in person and saw his attention to detail and flexibility amid my family's many requests. Chris did everything exactly how we had discussed in advance, and when he did have to occasionally make a decision on the spot it was perfect. During the ceremony, for instance, we had a fairly long blessing ritual immediately following the processional, and he had the intelligence to continue to play the processional music through the blessing which (in our specific case) made sense and saved us from several minutes of awkward silence. I remember thinking, I would have never thought of that in advance myself! Overall, Chris kept the flow of the evening going smoothly and helped us, the bride and groom, actually relax and actually enjoy our night. Thanks, Chris!

Chris was amazing to work with. He was professional, personable and a perfect addition to our special say. He was very easy going and flexible in planning as well as helpful. He remembered the things we forgot and was always ready with a suggestion when we were drawing a blank. Not to mention he was able to help us put unique elements into our ceremony by adjusting a song my husband wrote to fit perfectly. All of his transitions were seamless and everyone found him delightful. We lived working with him and would definitely work with him again given the opportunity.

People are still talking about how great the party was at our wedding! Chris Laich had a lot to do with that. He's such a fun guy, and we loved working with him. He did the music for our ceremony and reception, and both went off without a hitch. It was truly perfect. His services are customizable for any couple, which we appreciated. His pricing is also very fair compared to other vendors and DJs I spoke with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

Great experience with Chris Laich and our DJ, Michael Tate! I highly recommend! Our dance floor was full all night, and by the end of the evening we had future brides asking where we found our DJ. I'd hire Chris and his team again in a heartbeat!

Chris and Ray were fantastic at our wedding in April 2014. We just can't say enough positive things about them. They were fun, full of positive energy and did a great job with the music throughout the evening. I'm a dancer and everyone knew going into this wedding that dancing would be the pinnacle of the night! Ray provided a great mix of music, great guidance in advance on how to think about timing across the evening with dinner/speeches/cake cutting, etc. Our guests came up to us and said how much fun they thought Ray was! We also experienced some serious last minute challenges with our ceremony music/support, and Chris and Ray stepped in and TOTALLY KILLED fixing the issue. Without their last minute support and problem-solving, we would have walked down the aisle to the sounds of my heels!! They were great and highly recommend!

We still receive compliments on the playlist. Aaron was our DJ, and he totally understood the sound/vibe that we wanted to convey. He met with us beforehand, and had great suggestions along the way. Chris was clear, thorough and engaged in our conversation the whole way through. He shared his vast experience so that we could time our event perfectly, i.e. he did not sit back and let us make mistakes. He knew better than us how these things go, and *cared* enough to guide us. Our exact words to Chris regarding 98% of the musical selection for the whole event was "We do not care, make it classy" and he did! Chris also provided MC services by introducing our wedding party, speakers, and making special announcements throughout the evening ("Cigar bar is open outside!"). His service is worth whatever you may end up paying, and since we booked him in the off-season, I know we got him at a steal. This component of our event could not have gone more smoothly, and I will always recommend Chris Laich's services.

I would highly recommend Chris! During the planning process, he was readily available by phone or text. We talked through any concerns and he kept me cool, calm, and collected. At the wedding, he ran the show. I felt confident that everything would go off without a hitch because he was so organized and prepared. Chris sticks to timelines, tailors the music to the time of day/night and the crowd, pronounces names correctly and keeps it classy. Really, we had no complaints! I had many worries the morning of my wedding, but the DJ wasn't one! He just made me feel comfortable that he had it under control.

Every aspect of our experience with Chris Laich's company was outstanding. During my first phone call I had a lot of questions, and Chris took the time to address every one of them - he also added additional suggestions for our ceremony and reception that turned out to be exactly correct. Our meeting with our DJ, Aaron, was held at a convenient time and location for us, and he arrived very well prepared - completely warm and friendly, but also completely professional and efficient. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ during our wedding - Aaron did a beautiful job! Fortunately, we did not have any unexpected "surprises" during the ceremony or reception, but we knew that if we did, Aaron would be more than capable of gracefully handling them. We would recommend this company to anyone looking for an experienced, elegant DJ - absolutely worth every penny.

We had a great experience with Chris Laich as our Wedding DJ. He was very receptive to our preferences for each part of the night (timeline and music), and the mood we wanted for each of those. He stuck exactly to what we asked for with music, the timeline, and announcements, creating a flawless and stress free evening. Absolutely the best decision we made when planning our wedding. The value for the level of service was unbelievable. Every details was clear, stress free, and we felt as though there was nothing to worry about. As for the presentation and voice, we could not have been more impressed. I hired Chris Laich - Music Services for my wedding in April. We were planning our wedding from out of town and Chris Laich was VERY accommodating. We were able to plan our whole music/MC service through emails, phone calls, and Skype. They listened to what I wanted and we got so many compliments about the DJ service.

They also provide great value for the money that you spend. Affordable and amazing!
