Fantastic DJ
Chris was wonderful from the first time I contacted him! When we met in person at our wedding he was beyond sweet. He complimented me on my choice of music and complemented my choices with perfect choices of his own. Everyone commented on how great the music was from beginning to end. He was reasonably priced and offered to stay longer if needed. I would HIGHLY recommend his services and will definitely use him again if we have another event!!!

Chris was on time and prompt. Everyone enjoyed the music he played and had a lot of fun. He kept the guest entertained the whole time. We didn’t have a coordinator and he was still able to que the music at the right time. He was a pleasure to work with and will be using him again if needed in the future. DH Chris is AWESOME

From start to finish, it was a very easy process - his website is very user friendly and he created a great outline for us to review all the important details. Chris was an absolute amazing DJ to work with from start to finish. Very thorough and helpful, especially if you have no clue what you’re doing like us! The website was great and his check sheets for timelines were easy to use. We had multiple guests come up to us telling us he was the best dj they’ve seen at a wedding. Would 10000 percent recommend. Kept the party going and was beyond accommodating!

Amazing and professional DJ
Chris did amazing for our wedding, he was very professional and very responsive to me. So glad we booked Chris!
Stop looking for a DJ and book Chris NOW! Throughout the entire planning process, Chris was exceptional. The planning portal he provides is so easy and I never worried about the music needs for our wedding. We got married on the beach and he made sure our guests could clearly hear everything and be a part of our day. His MC skills are amazing and he kept our guests entertained and on the dance floor all night. Thank you, Chris!!!

I always thought the food and drinks were the most important thing of a wedding and it is NOT. It is the entertainment. It is so important to have somebody who knows how to control the room. Chris is your guy. He is thoughtful and intentional and knows what he is doing.
Our last meeting with him was a few days before the wedding and I cannot tell you how much he calmed my nerves. There are so many last minute details and music was the one part that I had no clue what to do with. You don't have to worry about this when you book with Chris... he is on top of his game and will take care of it ALL.
P.S. He sings LIVE and his voice is un-freaken-real. My family and friends are STILL talking about our wedding and how awesome or DJ was. Thank you Chris for making us look GOOD!!!!

We hired DJ Chris for our wedding on 10/17/2020. He was very responsive and informative through the whole process. His portal on his website was a great help in the actual planning process. When the big day came he was great. Even with last minute changes and additions he was amazing through it all. Kept the reception lively and fun. A+ service. I would recommend him for any event.

"A Night to Remember"
Carla and I were really impressed with DJ Chris James....
He was provided with a song list that included hip hop, r&b, soft rock, jazz as well as some seventies music. He played the music at the right time for the entire evening. The Dance floor stayed occupied for the entire evening. I was impressed with DJ Chris James, performance.

Best we could have booked!
We couldn’t have picked a better dj for our wedding. Beforehand, he communicated so well with us to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted in place. On the day of our wedding, he was understanding and supportive of last minute changes that we wanted to make. He was very kind, helpful and had a great attitude - which is so relieving on a day that can be so stressful. At the end of the night when our guests wanted to keep dancing, he was flexible and agreed to stay an extra two hours. Our friends and family loved it, we will definitely book with him again in the future!

Chris was an amazing choice as our DJ/Mcee. He has a great program that helps plan your ceremony and reception down to the minute and add all the songs you want even if they are not so typical songs. He also calls you and goes over everything you put on that program to make sure you’re both on the same page. He is also SO accommodating. He dealt with all my same day wedding changes and requests that I and my guests had. The person he teams up with for the photobooth was awesome as well. They work so seamlessly together. He also was very reassuring and kept this bride very at ease. Thank you so much Chris.

So much fun!
Chris was so great to work with! He accomodated all of my requests and played specifc songs that were not mainstream. The music for the ceremony went off without a hitch! He provided an awesome tool where you can input songs you would like played at your wedding and guests could also input music. I was able to indicate what songs were priority and what songs I didnt want played and he adhered to all of my requests. He played songs that my guests requested at the wedding and even worked with the best man to add a joke drum roll to his speech. His mc skills were awesome and he kept the party going all night long!

From the moment I reached out to Chris for pricing and other information he was great! Having a destination wedding I relied almost entirely on reviews & their first response was very important to me in making my decision on what vendor to choose. I was impressed with Chris immediately with his fast response & so happy we chose him to provide our ceremony music on the beach & his DJ services at our reception! He also offers your own portal on his webpage which allows you to create your own timeline & choose your playlist! We decided to add his “uplighting” at the last minute & so glad we did! Great DJ! His website is so nice to help prepare for the big day, had a great conversation with me about 2 weeks out to make sure we were on the same page. The day of, he was able to setup for the ceremony last minute even though we originally did not ask him! Wow!! DJ Chris James made our wedding!! He read the crowd, knew exactly what people wanted. We all felt like we made a friend. There wasn't a song that was requested he didn't have. The sound system was professional. As emcee he was spot on terrific!! His prewedding website was fantastic. We coordinated times, events and even guests could request up to 5 songs before hand. He's a delight!! You can't go wrong!!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. DJ Chris set up in two locations, at our reception venue and a separate outdoor ceremony venue (and it was a very hot day). He was also very accommodating to our requests. My brother couldn't be at the wedding because he is serving in the military so he recorded a reading that DJ Chris played during the ceremony. We also provided a backup track for my sister to sing during the ceremony and everything was perfectly times and went flawlessly during the ceremony.
Our reception was so much fun I wanted it to last 4 more hours! While I don't think he had to do much to encourage dancing because we had a crowd that loved to dance, DJ Chris kept the elements of the reception moving on time...introductions of the wedding party, toasts, first dance, father/daughter & mother/son dances, cake cutting, etc.

If you want your guests to have fun and spend the night on the dance floor with you, then by all means book Chris. He is energetic, plays what you want and avoids what you don't want. He had the dance floor going up until the last minute, and believe me we still didn't want to leave.

Chris was amazing!! Not only did he come to the coast to DJ our wedding while Hurricane Matthew loomed its ugly head, he did it with a smile of his face the whole time. He is highly talented, extremely entertaining, super accommodating and above all very professional. He helped not only make our night an evening to remember, he helped orchestrate the fine details we did not think of. His line up of songs was amazing and he had everyone on the dance floor. I had to stop giving people hugs because I was sweating so much, he had me and everyone else dancing to every song. He was even able to get our first dance song, which wasn't on his original list. I will recommend Chris to everyone I know that is getting married or having any type of event.
