We cannot recommend Chris and Amanda enough! From the moment we reached out to them, they went above and beyond in every aspect of our experience. They were incredibly helpful before the wedding, providing thoughtful advice on everything from the timeline to the style of photos and videos we wanted. It was clear from the start that they were truly invested in making our day special, and they took the time to understand exactly what we were envisioning.
On the day of the wedding, Chris and Amanda were fantastic to work with. They were not only highly professional, but also warm, friendly, and incredibly personable. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which we were a little nervous about! They were always attentive, making sure they captured every important moment, while also blending into the background when we needed a more relaxed, candid vibe. It was such a relief knowing that they were on top of everything, and they made sure to get every shot we had requested – and more!
What really impressed us, though, was the production and quality of the photos and videos. They were beautifully edited and thoughtfully organized. Looking through the photos and videos was like reliving the best moments of the day all over again.
Overall, Chris and Amanda exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only are they incredibly talented professionals, but they are also genuinely kind people who made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. We are so grateful to have had them capture our wedding day, and we will cherish the memories they created for us forever. Amazing. Just book them. You won’t regret it.
The TLDR: Chris & Amanda beautifully captured our wedding day. We are immersed in all of the feeling and emotion of our wedding day when we admire our wedding photos. If you’re thinking of booking them… don’t hesitate and just do it. You won’t regret it. If you’re interested in the longer version, keep reading.
We were initially about to put a deposit down with another photographer when I luckily stumbled upon Chris & Amanda. Something about their photography style really spoke to me — they have such a beautiful way of effortlessly capturing the subject of their photos that you almost feel you are there with them, and are immersed into the setting of the photo as well. I wanted to be able to look back at our wedding photos one day and feel exactly that. So we booked them.
Immediately upon working with them, I knew we made the right decision. I sent Chris many emails/texts leading up to our wedding day, asking questions, changing plans, relaying my vision of look, feel, poses, timeline. Chris was always so quick to reply and included in every response, ”call me anytime.” And I did! Many of times… and I always felt that I was in great hands after talking with Chris.
Fast forward to our wedding day, and immediately Chris & Amanda made us feel at ease. They were so fun and easy going. Chris has a great sense of humor and always had us laughing. Our wedding party continues to mention how great they were and we still laugh at a few of Chris’ jokes that stuck with us months later. Amanda was very sweet and made it so easy to be in front of the camera, making us look natural and feel comfortable. We also got a kick out of Jackson, who was always running (literally) to ensure he never missed an opportune shot.
We received our photos and videos earlier than the expected timeline, and they were better than what I ever could’ve hoped for. They bring us back to our wedding day each time we look at them, and we are forever grateful for that. Thank you, Chris & Amanda for the tremendous impact you made on our wedding day, and for capturing all the special moments we will gaze upon fondly for many years to come. -

Highly recommend Chris and Amanda Photography
We are so thankful we came across Chris and Amanda photography.
They were very responsive and fair with pricing, especially after looking at many other photographers. We loved how they offered photo and video combined packages and also loved how it is a local family business.
Anytime we had any questions or concerns we could reach out and they would get right back to us.
They were helpful and gave great advice, they even suggested certain photos that we may want that I wasn't even thinking about at the time.
When it came to our wedding, some of the pictures we looked at I would have never even realized they were there. They never seemed to be in your face and were not overbearing.
We struggled a few obstacles as our photo booth lady canceled on us a few hours before our wedding. Chris and Amanda pulled through to find us someone last minute. We cannot thank them enough!
They were in touch with our entire Wedding crew, so everybody was on the same page and it was less stress for us.
We just received our pictures and I've never smiled and laughed so hard. The pictures were absolutely incredible. Out of 800+ pictures there was not one that we did not like.
Chris and Amanda and their son, went above and beyond and we couldn't be happier with the photos. We cannot wait to see the video!!
We would highly recommend them for any special occasion, a wedding especially. Thank you for making our big day unforgettable!

Chris and Amanda were absolutely amazing to work with! They captured so many special moments of our wedding day and we are obsessed with how all the photos came out! They were so fun to work as well as comfortable and they totally work their magic with those lenses, I am so thankful for them capturing all the special moments of the most memorable day for us! I cannot recommend them enough, not only are we obsessed with all the photos but so are our families, they are truly the best! -

Chris and Amanda photographed my wedding in April 2023 and WOW was it an absolute joy to work with them! They were very easy to communicate with ahead of the wedding, absolutely understood our vision for the pictures and video from the get-go, were so personable and helpful day of to make us both feel comfortable and not stressed, and the photos came back very quickly. And those photos? I'm OBSESSED! I told them there must be some kind of magic in their camera lenses because my husband and I look like models in the shots. I cannot recommend them enough, any couple or company will feel lucky to have them as their photographer/videographer for their event. -

Chris and Amanda have actually done my mom and dad’s wedding back in 2011 and I absolutely loved their pictures! Absolutely Amazing!!!!
Chris & Amanda we’re absolutely amazing!! Chris and Amanda spoke to us several times before our wedding. Any questions we had, chris took the time to speak to us! He suggested a “first look” and I am so happy we listened. We were able to enjoy our entire wedding day!! From the second they arrived I felt at ease!! They were so nice. They didn’t rush us and took time to get every picture we wanted. They were so accommodating, they knew exactly where to take every picture, they moved from room to room in order to get pictures of me with my bridesmaids and my husband with his guys. If I needed more time, they went to him and vice versa. They knew exactly what they were doing the entire day - everything went so smooth and on time. They stayed until we needed them to. They captured every important part of our day and we couldn’t be happier!! We haven’t seen all our pictures but from the ones we saw, we love!!! We cannot wait to see our video and pictures- we know they will be amazing! Thank you for being such an important part of our special day!!! -

Choosing Chris and Amanda as our wedding photographers was by far the best choice we could have made. From the first phone conversation and initial coffee meeting, Chris made us feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. He listened to the style of photography we were interested in and helped to cultivate a day of plan. Due to inclement weather, we didn't get to take our engagement photos until a few days before the wedding which actually was awesome because we got a chance to work with Chris and Amanda and feel comfortable with them. Getting married in December, we were working against sunlight. Being super organized, I devised a day of itinerary. They listened to me and on the day of, took complete control. We stuck to the timeline and even ended up finishing before we thought. With Chris, Amanda and Katie's help the day was seamless. Not to mention, Amanda took control of the guys and Chris and Katie took control with us girls. All the while laughing and joking with us. After the church we took family photos and then jumped on the trolley to take bridal party photos. It was 30 degrees out and between all three, I was kept warm with their mittens, sweaters and bear hugs in between shots. The service was over the top from playing DJ on the trolley to helping with boutonnière's, shoe changes and grabbing drinks. The next day we received nothing but compliments and praise for the level of service and fun they brought to our wedding day. If you are looking for quality, service, value and a good time on your wedding day, look no further, these guys are the obvious choice! I would give more stars if I could! Thank you for helping to make our day so magical and giving us a lifetime of memories. -

Brandi Sent on 03/05/2013I just wanted to make sure that you all know how truly amazing MemoriesRI made our wedding day!! Without Chris it wouldn't have been the same. He was able to capture everything perfectly and helped coordinate everyone at the ceremony. We are very thankful for everything he did for us on our wedding day and leading up to the special day - Amanda was fantastic with our engagement photo shoot! Also, we changed our date and destination (from Mass to Florida) and Chris worked his magic to be our photographer. Honestly our wedding day was truly a fairy tale and was even better then I had ever dreamed. It wouldn't have been so great without Chris's efforts! We have gotten so much positive feedback from our family already on the photos - his work is extraordinary!
I would give them ten stars out of 5 (-: and I highly recommend MemoriesRI!!!!

Chris and Amanda Photography & Films was one of the best vendor choices we made. Together they are a dynamic duo that have the most amazing energy and two different artistic perspectives that come together beautifully with the final products. They go above and beyond what you would expect out of a wedding photographer and we couldn't be happier with all of our photos. Even after showing our friends and family, we could all agree that it will be difficult to choose ones to frame as the majority of the photos were stunning. We have yet to get our wedding video back, as it takes a little more time, but are very excited based off of what we already have. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Chris and Amanda Photography & Films! -
