Chocolate Carousel truly knows what they are doing!! They were an absolute pleasure to work with and brought my dream wedding cake to life. Every flavor we tried was so delicious that it was hard to choose, but we ultimately went with yellow cake paired with raspberry Chambord buttercream filling and whipped white chocolate frosting. It was a 10/10 absolutely DELICIOUS! -

We absolutely loved our cake. It had to be the best cake I have ever tasted. Our cake was 3 tiers , 2 funfetti with cookies and cream filling and 1 chocolate chip with fudge filling. -

Beautiful and delicious wedding cake
Our wedding cake was stunning!! I couldn’t believe how beautiful it turned out; it looked like it was carved out of marble. Equally important, it was so delicious (we went with the red velvet after having a lot of fun with the take-home cake tasting). Even better than enjoying it on wedding night was our days of working through the leftovers at home. We can’t wait to have it again on our first anniversary.

June wedding at the Asbury Hotel
Working with Chocolate Carousel for our wedding cake was so stress free and wonderful. We used Falco’s catering for our wedding and Chocolate Carousel was included in our package. We shared our inspiration with them with what we wanted and it came out absolutely perfect! To pick our flavors, we were able to sample from a variety of cakes, fillings, and icing to make sure we picked the perfect combo for us (we went with funfetti cake, vanilla custard filling, and white chocolate icing). Also, highly recommend going into the bakery for a few sweet treats leading up to your wedding. We picked up our wedding cake tasting box on a cake slice Saturday where we sat for a while at the bakery chatting with the owner and enjoyed some AMAZING cake. -

Our wedding day was simply gorgeous, all of the little details that Windows on the Water handled gave us a magical wedding day we’ll never forget. They recommended we have Chocolate Carousel make our wedding cake, and we were so glad we chose CC, because their wedding cake is still being talked about by our guests, simply delicious and gorgeous! All one has to say is Lemon ButterCream, after tasting this confectionary delight on our wedding day, we’re so happy we decided to choose this seasoned baker to make our wedding day cake. Highly recommend Chocolate Carousel for any wedding or special events you will be hosting, they over exceeded our expectations. -

Amazing and delicious!!
We had a beautiful delicious regular wedding cake and a small gluten free cake. Both were amazing and delicious ! Vanilla custard with raspberry filling was soooo good! -

We got a cake included in our Venue Tim Mcloones Supper Club and Chocolate Carousel was absolutely amazing. We thought the sample box was a little odd, but it worked. We got to meet with the artist virtually and go over the entire book of designs to pick the perfect one. We had Mets color theme and they were able to incorporate that into the colors and style. I love the heart with our initials in it- like when you carve your initials into a tree. The cake- when I tell you people loved it- they asked for seconds. -

BEST Wedding Cake!!
The most delicious wedding cake we’ve ever had!! So soft and delicious and literally just so good. Everyone loved the cake and it was BEAUTIFUL! It was fun and easy to design the cake with their team! We also got a yummy tasting box to try out multiple flavor combinations which made a fun date night! We’re so happy with how it turned out, and I’m not sure if this is because it was included with our venue, but we get a freshly made topper for our anniversary instead of needing to eat year-old frozen cake!! So cool! -

We also ordered donuts for our late night snack from Chocolate Carousel. The apple cider donut is one of the best donuts I've ever had! We decided to have them make a cake for my daughters baby shower because they made her wedding cake. Absolutely delicious and creative. Our then was a rustic vibes and they provided just that. A birch tree look cake. Red velvet and cannoli with buttercream. Mouthwatering delicious. Highly recommend them. They’re staff is amazing from start to finish. -

The baker we worked with made it super easy to describe the what we wanted. The cake was beautiful tbh I’m lactose intolerant and didn’t eat the cake so couldn’t tell you how it was but I did order vegan chocolate cupcakes too which were delicious. We also did 150 cake pops as favors and those were amazing too. -

Wedding Cake
Our venue works with Chocolate Carousel for our wedding cake, and we couldn't be happier!! Everyone at the bakery was very helpful on the phone and answered any questions in a timely manner.
The whole process went smoothly, from booking your design and cake tasting appointments, and even picking up the tasting kit. My sister was kind enough to go to the bakery to pick up our tasting kit since I was stuck at work, and she said the place is amazing inside and everything smelled delicious!!
My now husband and I had a blast tasting all of the flavors we wanted to try for our wedding cake. We ended up going with an almond flavored cake with raspberry filling and white buttercream. O-M-G, everything we tasted was AMAZING!!! But the almond cake really stood out, along with the raspberry filling. You can't go wrong with any flavors you choose!
Our guests at our wedding raved about the cake flavor so we were very happy with our choices :) Our venue even gave us the top tier to take home after the wedding which was so nice!! We ate it ALL within a few days!! (Even after a few days, it was still that good!!)
I'm a big sweets lover, and can be critical so I can without a doubt say that Chocolate Carousel's cakes are the best!! They're so moist and fresh, and the best flavors I've had in a long time.
The design of the wedding cake was exactly what we asked for, it was so beautiful!!
Thank yoo so much for helping making our wedding day extra special!! -

Loved our cake!
We worked with Chocolate Carousel for our wedding at Tim McLoone's. The entire process was so easy - from tastings, to meeting with the designer, to having the cake at our venue on our wedding day. We did not have to “interview” or look far to find the “perfect”bakery as our wedding venue had an established relationship with the Chocolate Carousel. May I just say, how pleased we were with not just how beautiful the cake was but how heavenly it tasted! Not every beautiful cake taste as good as it looks, but I am here to tell you our wedding cake was the triple threat! It was pleasing to the eye, it awoke the taste buds & satisfied the sweet tooth without being over the top sweet! -

Our venue, Tim McLoone's Supper Club, is paired with Chocolate Carousel. Even though our cake vendor was chosen for us, we will had an amazing experience and definitely recommend CC! We got to do a complimentary tasting of several cake, filling, and icing flavors. We ended up picking Jersey Blueberry Cake, Vanilla Mousse filling, and Buttercream icing. The cake was a huge hit with our guests! CC also recommended a local florist, Wild Flowers, after we decided to add florals to our cake. Chocolate Carousel also offers to re-make top tiers for anniversaries for $30-in our opinion, a much better option than eating year-old frozen cake! -

Delicious!
Our venue partners with them so we got our cake included in the cost of the venue. We had a four tear cake and we were able to design it via video call with a designer. The girl was perfect on the call and worked with us step by step along the way! We had two tiers match with the quilted look and then we had the other two tiers match with the swirls. Our cake topper was heavy but that wasn't a problem for Choco. Car. We were able to take home the top tier of our cake, but on our first anniversary they will make us a mini version of our cake for free! I just cannot wait for that! SO special! -

Awesome in Every Way
Tara and I LOVED our cake and so did all our guests. I use to work with a DJ in college and I would commonly see plate upon plate with one bite taken out of the guests’ cake. But at our wedding I had at least 10 of our guests tell us they had 3+ pieces and the majority of guests say they ate at least 2 pieces. We had an almond cake with the raspberry mousse filling and I would 10/10 order it again. It was so good the day after as well when we took our top tier home! -

Absolutely Amazing
My husband & I got our wedding cake from here and it was nothing short of spectacular! Our cake was chocolate with chocolate mousses filling and peanut butter buttercream on the outside. DELICIOUS! Phenomenal cake and experience!

My husband and I are vegan and wanted to ensure we could also enjoy our wedding cake. We were going back and forth on if we should get a smaller vegan cake for ourselves and a regular cake for our guests. That question was solved as soon as we had our tasting at Chocolate Carousel all the samples were delicious. We decided right there that we would go with one cake which would be vegan. By the way we never told the guests and we are still getting compliments on how delicious our wedding cake was. ☺️😉 -

We were lucky enough to eat our cake twice! With us needing to cancel our wedding in 2020 due the pandemic, they made a little mini wedding cake with our flavors. Fast forward a year; our cake was a dream. It was everything we wanted. The colors were perfect and everyone of our guests loved the cake! Our wedding venue used Chocolate Carousel for our wedding cake. My now husband and I aren't big cake people and we didn't really care what flavors we picked for our wedding cake. We were honestly just beat from all the wedding planning during a pandemic that we did not even taste test for our cake. My husband said "let's just go with white cake and chocolate mousse filling." It was literally the most DELICIOUS cake we ever tasted. It was perfect. Just sweet enough without being too much. The design was absolutely beautiful. Their team was super helpful and responsive during the design process as well. We highly recommend this bakery and will use them again for future events. Thank you for all your hard work and for the lovely cake that made everyone's taste buds so happy. 😊 -

We had a fun experience cake tasting before the wedding.
Our actual wedding cake was absolutely beautiful! It was exactly what I wanted! Simple and elegant. My florist added some real flowers after the cake was dropped off at the wedding venue.
The cake was delicious! I’m never usually impressed by the taste of wedding cakes. The cake is usually dry and the icing is too sweet. But our cake from Chocolate Carousel was deeeeelicious!!!

The taste and texture were incredible (some bakeries make beautiful cakes that are kind of dry and bland inside, but this one was AMAZING). For the design, they took a few Pinterest pics I sent them and created a truly unique painted cake in our colors. Our guests loved the cake so much that some of them asked to take extra slices home! -

Chocolate Carousel = Fantastic!
My husband and I got married in March 2019 in the Monmouth County (NJ) area. Our venue actually has a contract with Chocolate Carousel for wedding cakes which I literally could not have been more excited about! I had sampled a piece of Chocolate Carousel cake at a bridal shower back in September 2016 – almost two and a half years prior. I remember the cake tasting so fabulous and it was just a simple white cake with like a raspberry compote filling! I knew back then I needed a Chocolate Carousel creation at my wedding! So I called in September 2018 to we book our cake tasting and consultation which ended up being at the end of January 2019. We worked with Jen and she was able to turn the image in my head into reality. I came in with a picture of a design on a cup, our wedding invitation and pure magic happened! Our on wedding day, we walked into the reception ballroom, before our guests, and our cake was there, sitting on an elegant silver cake-stand surrounded by flowers. I almost requested a slice right then and there but decided, for picture purposes, it was best to wait for our cake cutting! The reception flew by, but before I left the room, I sat and ate all of my piece of cake while the room was being cleaned up! I definitely enjoyed our wedding cake and we would absolutely recommend Chocolate Carousel for all baked goods and cannot wait to use them in the future! -

As you can imagine, the choices for a wedding cake are overwhelming, so the patience and care taken with us during our tasting visit was really appreciated. The cake is often an afterthought to some, but for me it was a huge priority and my expectations were very high. We were asked what flavors we liked, did not like and that helped to narrow things down. Once we picked our the actual cake and filling flavors, I presented my vision, which was pictures of 3 different cakes - and asked for one style of tier from each to make up our perfect cake.
When I saw the cake the day of our wedding, I was beyond thrilled. It was absolutely beautiful and EXACTLY what we ordered. Our guests raved at how delicious it was and we loved it too. I should also add that the Chocolate Carousel is over an hour from our home, but SO WORTH IT - we had no regrets. We highly recommend CC, you will not be disappointed. -

We had the chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling for our wedding, it tasted great, it looked great. I had a picture from Pinterest of a semi-naked cake with berries and greenery and Chocolate Carousel did an excellent job of recreating the look. I would definitely recommend! -

I found a cake design off of Pinterest and they were more than willing to create it for us. Not to mention, the cake was DELICIOUS!! I'm not a big dessert eater but I could have eaten that cake all night. They deliver it right to the venue for you, you don't even need to think about it. Such nice people that work there too!! Friendly and helpful at the tasting! Highly recommend them for any cake/cupcake/dessert needs!!!!

Chocolate Carousel is amazing! They made designing our cake so easy and stress free, and really made our wedding cake visions a reality. Not only did it look beautiful, it also tasted amazing!! We are coming up on our 1 year anniversary this October, and can't wait to have our anniversary cake and taste it again! We will definitely be ordering cakes from here for future events! -

I can’t say enough about this bakery! My husband and I got married last year 09.01.2018. Our wedding cake designer was Jen and she was hands down fabulous nailed our cake to the T. Our guest still talk about our awesome cake and how delicious it was. Now we are coming up on our 1st wedding anniversary and guess what we ordered our anniversary cake topper. Our wedding cake was just perfect! We planned our whole wedding reception under 3 months with the Versailles Ballroom, and Chocolate Carousel was so easy to work with for our cake! We had a delicious yellow cake, raspberry filling, and buttercream frosting and all our guests loved it! The cake was a work of art! Couldn’t have been any easier thanks to Chocolate Carousel! -

Amazing Naked Wedding Cake!
By far the easiest and tastiest part of our wedding planning. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, flexible and knowledgeable. It was simple to set up the cake tasting to pick the cake and flavors. We had an idea of what we wanted the cake to look like and it came out perfect! A beautiful and delicious wedding cake! Also I think it's brilliant that they recreate the top of the cake on your anniversary. Can not say enough nice things about Chocolate Carousel! -

The chocolate carousel was superb from the very beginning. Our cake tasting experience amazing, our cake looked exactly as we pictured it, and the tasteee? Omg AMAZING! Let’s just put it this way, my husband and i came back to NJ after moving to Florida for our anniversary to enjoy our anniversary cake! You can’t go wrong here. -
