We loved having Chinua Unites DJ our wedding! He did everything perfectly, his calm energy kept us grounded while MCing, and he was all around incredible. His transitions and style kept everyone dancing and having so much fun all night! We're so glad to have found him. It is an honor to be able to give him a review, and we love to help him grow even more. We really enjoyed every moment, he made the night a beautiful experience. We highly recommend him!

We had an incredible experience working with Chinua Unites for our wedding at VIVO! Restaurant & Catering back in April 2026. From our very first meeting, Chinua was attentive, flexible, and truly invested in making our day feel personal and seamless. He even proactively arranged a meeting with our venue to ensure he could get a feel for the space beforehand. He managed the engagement himself so we had one less thing to worry about ahead of the big day!
He also took the time to understand our vision, blending our love for early 2000s R&B, Bollywood, and even Pokémon music! He even worked with my husband's sister (my MOH) to add some music during her toast to surprise (and tease!) my husband during her toast. It was so special.
Our guests had a fantastic time, and we felt so supported throughout the planning process and on the big day itself. We highly recommend Chinua to any couple looking for a DJ/MC who truly listens, collaborates, and brings positive energy to every moment. -

We're thrilled with DJ Chinua Unite's performance at our wedding at the Vista Ballroom in Long Island City! As a Cameroonian & American couple, we wanted a unique mix of American classics, EDM, but also Cameroonian music and Jazz. And, it all needed to be profanity-free. DJ Chinua Unites perfectly delivered on our vision. He was professional, coordinated seamlessly with our MC and planners, and kept the dance floor packed. Our guests were raving about the music. DJ Chinua Unites was absolutely phenomenal at our wedding! He read the room and crafted the perfect musical journey through our reception. Chinua masterfully transitioned from my favorite hip-hop & R&B era and perfectly closed out the night with energetic Afrobeats. We booked DJ Chinua Unites to DJ and MC at our wedding and he was absolutely incredible. We feel so lucky to have found him. Not only was he courteous and professional, but he also kept everyone dancing with his mixes throughout the whole night! We also appreciated that his MCing helped keep everything moving on schedule. Overall I can’t say enough good things about DJ Chinua Unites. He was the perfect DJ and I would recommend him with the utmost confidence to anyone else planning a wedding or event. -

We were so happy to have Chinua Unites as a part of our wedding celebration! Our reception had Spanish and English speakers and people of all ages, and he was able to emcee in both languages and keep the party going with music that everyone could enjoy. In preparing for the event, Chinua was attentive and responded quickly to our questions, helped us tailor our playlist, and made sure to discuss the details of the evening and review things we may not have thought about. He was also very generous with his time and even made himself available to visit the venue with us. We had a wonderful experience working with Chinua Unites and definitely recommend him! -
