Absolutely excellent. Everything about the experience. He was very attentive to what the crowd wanted on the dancefloor. Jay was able to balance perfectly the songs on our playlist along with the requests from other guests which was difficult with a mixture of 2 cultures. The package with the uplighting made the venue that much more special. He was very professional and knew how the wedding should run for those that don't really know what they're doing. And Jay is simply an excellent person. My wife and I will be forever grateful for the experience he provided. Highly recommend.

Danced All Night!
Jay at Fourth Estate was a pleasure to work with, very professional and responsive. We found him through the recommended vendors list at our venue. He played great music that had people dancing all night long!
The only thing was due to our venue's acoustics, it was difficult to understand any announcements but it did not put a damper on our evening.

Great experience, easy to work with
Jay DJed our Oct 2022 wedding ceremony and reception. He was great to work with, his website was easy to use, and his prices were very reasonable and transparent compared with some of the other DJs we were in contact with. We booked with him after speaking to him on the phone, and he didn't make us sit through an hour long presentation like some of the other DJs. We were able to incorporate some of our own songs on a flashdrive he provided. We really enjoyed working with him.

Much more than just a DJ!
Jay not only killed it with the wedding ceremony and reception, but the atmosphere he created with the music and lights really kept everyone engaged and wanting to be on the dance floor! He certainly knows how to read a room.
Also, Jay was super informative and helpful with not only our entertainment, but he also supplied us with a plethora of information that was helpful in other aspects of our wedding planning, which we more than appreciated!
My wife and I would highly recommend!

What a Memorable Day
Jay was so great to work with. It was so easy to plan our special day using his event organizing tools. He was available for questions and his answers were always helpful and prompt. Our guests had so much fun and we danced all night long. We had a ton of compliments from our guests about what a great job he did.

Great music & DJ!
Jay was very professional from the start. He has a very easy to use, professional website which makes uploading your music really easy. We opted to actually create our own playlist on Spotify for our cocktail hour, and he was very flexible and allowed us to just share that with him directly. He called us a week before the wedding to discuss the flow of the day, guidelines for song requests, and other ideas we hadn’t even thought of. Everyone LOVED the music and the dance floor was literally packed the whole night. He also did a great job of directing the flow of the wedding, announcing things and directing people when needed. Awesome experience, the price is very reasonable, and you should hire him! Thanks Jay!

From the first call to the big day, working with Jay at Fourth Estate was an excellent experience. He made it so easy for us to communicate, and when we sadly had to postpone (TWICE!) due to Covid, he was so flexible and accommodating. When it came to our reception, he was very professional, he kept the night rolling perfectly, and even played the songs we asked for that weren’t initially in his inventory. Jay was amazing to work with! He was by far the most responsive and easiest vendor to coordinate with. When I had to move my wedding due to COVID he responded immediately that he moved the date over, no issues. I figured not many people would be dancing at my wedding due to COVID but people were on the dance floor the entire night!

My husband and I decided to book Jay as our wedding DJ because of his professionalism and years of experience. We are so happy we did. Jay made the wedding venue look even better with the uplighting included in the package we chose. He was extremely responsive with an email response time between 20 minutes and 1 hour, even on Saturdays and Sundays. The online portal allowed us to specify all our music needs and wants for the day in an easily accessible way.

Great Overall Experience
Jay was everything you could ask for in a wedding DJ. Extremely responsive and professional. He played all the songs we requested as well as those from our guests. Fourth Estate Audio was absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process, especially with all of the covid curveballs we were thrown. Jay was our DJ and he did an awesome job of keeping people happy, engaged, and enjoying themselves even when dancing wasn't allowed. People were singing along and dancing in their chairs the entire night. Jay was also excellent at directed guests, from the flawless introductions to the toasts, to the various activities during the reception, and finally, to get everyone on shuttles safely at the end of the night, Jay got everyone on the same page without having to interrupt everything repeatedly. We would recommend them over and over again. Couldn't have been any better.

Helpful during a stressful time
Jay was a wonderful Dj for our wedding indoors and outdoor. Jay allowed us to pick songs that defined who we are. He found the songs we asked for even though he did not have them yet. I wish more of our songs were played that we wanted vs our guests but we didn't have that discussion upfront with the songs we definitely wanted to hear cause we just did not know or to think ask. We did the uplighting and stars with him and really happy we paid the extra for that service it really brought the room together. If we have any more special events where we need a Dj we will call Jay to help again. Thank you for making us and our guest happy.

Best DJ Ever!!
We had Jay as the DJ for our wedding in Chicago this summer and he was absolutely perfect. He was so caring in thoughtful in wanting to give us the best experience for us specifically. Everything went smoothly with entrances, speeches, etc. and he was a huge reason for that. Then, we got the party started on the dancefloor, and with the help of Jay, it never stopped! We only had a few requests, so we left the majority of the songs up to Jay, and they could not have been better! He knew what to play and when and helped make our wedding the best party ever! From our postponed wedding last year to this past weekend, Jay was always very responsive to my emails. No matter how much I changed the time of our reception, Jay's response was prompt and always, "No problem, done!". He was great at getting our bridal party lined up for introductions and getting people to stay on the dancefloor!
