  About a month ago I was in my bestfriends wedding, and I always heard about lash extensions and I finally did it, and let me just say.. AMAZING! I loved everything about them, the look was amazing and even my boyfriend made numerous comments about how pretty I looked and he could tell how happy I was! I felt so dang pretty, and it was worth it! The ladies were awesome and fun environment in general! Love love love, highly recommend to anyone!

  This year I attended one of my best friends wedding in Northbrook and there were was going to be week long festivities so I did not want to have to put fake eyelash's on everyday. So I found Chicago Lashes through WeddingWire and booked appointments for myself and 6 other bridesmaids to get our lashes done. We all got our lashes done by Camille and she was so sweet and did a great job. My eye lashes looked so full and better then they have ever looked. I was absolutely obsessed with them, sometimes I still stare at the pictures I have from that week because my eyelashes honestly look amazing. We were so happy with the end product and the best part about it was that my eyelash extensions lasted over 5 WEEKS! I was so amazed, the quality of them was so good and the fact that they lasted for such a LONG time was even better.
  
  For me especially, a bonus about this place is that the salon had a very boutique feeling and had cute decorations all around and was very clean and put together. We all had such great experiences with the salon that a few of us actually went back during the week of the wedding and got our makeup done there...and I am very picky with my makeup and how it is done, but they did such a good job absolutely LOVED it, I am so happy with the quality of the products and service that I received from the salon I recommend it for all my friends whenever they need something now, whether it be eyelash extensions, make up, or even nails (they have a great selection of nail polish colors and brands). The Chicago Lash salon exceeded my expectations, great place, great people.

  Oh my god, this is one of the best salons I've been to for eyelash extensions. I have really thin lashes and was really worried about how I was going to look for my December wedding. I saw Chicago Lashes had a special online for half off and jumped at the opportunity.
  
  I made my appointment with Sashawn to get a full set of mink eyelashes. The only problem was that it was difficult to get an appointment on a Saturday. I explained that I was getting married the following week, and Sashawn found a way to fit me in. The salon is so pretty and kind of resembles some of the boutiques on the West Coast. I love how they decorated everything in bright, shiny colors.
  
  As soon as I arrived, they treated me with a ton of professionalism. Two of the girls asked me if I wanted coffee or tea. I've not really been to a lot of upscale salons, so this was a nice experience. One of the best things was they do a free manicure when you get the dramatic set of mink lashes.
  
  It took about 2 hours for her do finish my eyes from beginning to end. My eyes looked totally different after she finished. The lashes were big and bold. I always wanted to have Kim Kardashian looking eyelashes, and that's exactly what I got. This is an excellent salon for anyone getting married or someone wanting value for their money.

  I got lash extensions about 2 weeks before my wedding. I have naturally thick, dark, curly lashes, but I have a nervous tick and tend to pull at them when I'm anxious, so they can get a bit sparse. I made an appt to get minx (not synthetic) extensions, and made sure they would only add some fullness and look very natural. I took very good care of them during the first 48 hrs, which I was advised was crucial to their longevity. But they quickly started falling out on only one of my eyes. That's when I realized these things were definitely synthetic -- not what I'd asked for. Also, during the time I had them, they only really looked good for the first few days. Then they started drooping, going sideways, just getting weird. Showering with them was awful; the adhesive made my eyes burn like crazy. Then when they started falling out, the gaps between the lashes became obvious. Nothing was worse than after they all came out. They completely destroyed my natural lashes. My lashes have since grown in fine and straight. It's been almost 2 months since I first got the extensions and over a months since the last ones fell out, but my lashes have yet to go back to normal. I have no idea if they ever will. I wish the girl (the owner) who put them in had warned me. If I had known my natural lashes would have been damaged this much, I would've just worn fake lashes for the occasion. I don't recommend lash extensions if you have naturally nice lashes and are just looking for a little more fullness or a touch of drama -- only if they're already short or fine to begin with. Otherwise, just get some false lashes from MAC or even the drug store! You'll be glad you did!
