Perfect Choice
Paul was the photographer for our vow renewal on Anna Maria Island in Florida. We had already looked for photographers in the area and were completely hooked by his style. When our officiant recommended him as part of our vow renewal package we jumped at the opportunity.
Paul is not only a highly talented photographer but also just a great guy. He made us feel at ease throughout and was a delight to talk to. What's remarkable is how throughout the ceremony he just kind of faded into the background and worked his magic there. When we got to see the final pictures we were stunned how he effortlessly chose perfect angles and made everything look both realistic and magical.
He was reliable, quick, professional and delivered outstanding results. He captured our special day perfectly. We can't recommend him enough.

Paul is an excellent photographer with many years of experience. He does a great job framing his photos and pays attention to the fine details that others may miss. He is easy to work with, professional, creative, and cares about capturing those perfect shots. My husband and I had pictures taken in all types of environments (inside the catholic church, outdoors in bright light/shade, by the water, darkness, etc.) and they all turned out fantastic. Very flexible and great pics
We wanted low key and quick as my groom HATES photos. Paul was able to make everyone super comfortable and we all actually had a great time (even skeptical groom). We laughed through the entire session and the fun showed through in our photos. Paul also was able to suggest so many different things that we would have never thought about to give us a vast array of pictures. All turned out beautifully. Paul was also very reasonably priced and super responsive in communicating which is important when planning such a big event.

Paul did my son's wedding photography years ago, and just this past December he did 7 adult family members plus our 5 grandkids! Tough job, but they are amazing pictures! I am so grateful to have found him. Timely, professional, courteous. Easy to work with. Nothing rattles him.

Laid back amazing photographer
Paul was fantastic to work with. He asked us where we wanted the photoshoot and when we couldn't decide had a great location in mind for us. We never felt rushed and were quickly put at ease. I found Paul in 2007 to do some family photos of my husband and our two boys. The pictures captured my sons personalities perfectly. They were so at ease with Paul. I don’t like many pictures that are set, I love spontaneous shots and I loved those pictures. Fast forward 16 years, add another kid and another vacation in AMI. I immediately thought of our sitting with Paul all those years ago. We reconnected (so thankful he’s still in the business) for pictures this year. They are fantastic! A true family treasure. I added my parents in and it made it all the more special. Paul also was very easy to work with my outfit changes. Looking forward to the next family shoot but a lot sooner! Thanks Paul!

Paul was amazing! We co-ordinated to pretend like we don't know each other in order to make my proposal to my (now) fiancé a surprise! He played along, pretended to not know me, and she never saw it coming when we met halfway down the pier in Anna-Maria Island... And the pictures turned out AMAZING!! Photos to cherish for a lifetime
Simply amazing pictures! He easily managed to capture my large family of eleven, which includes 3 kids and our family dog, for a memorable sunset portrait session on Bean Point Beach, Anna Maria Island. We didn't just do the typical beach photos along the water's edge. Paul had multiple locations, at least four, in which he photographed my entire family. He even did a little mini photoshoot of our senior dog which we will cherish forever. He brought along professional lighting equipment which made the sunset pictures even more dramatic, well-lit, and varied. His photo editing skills are top notch and we highly recommend him to any prospective client. Thanks again Paul for some of the best family pictures we will ever own!

Paul was incredible on our wedding day. Communication prior to the big day was impeccable - he replied within a few days which was great given the 5 hour time difference. He arrived promptly on the wedding morning and made everyone free at ease while he snapped away.
The images he captured have been incredible. He truly caught everything on camera which is exactly what I wanted. We had a few images we wanted to recreate, and Paul was able to do this with no issue at all.
Our whole wedding party raved about Paul and his team. He was so friendly and great with my young daughters. I honestly could not recommend a more perfect photographer for your big day.
We cannot thank you enough. You have allowed us to relive the best day of our lives, over and over again.

Amazing photos for our 25th Anniversary vow renewal

Paul was great. He was very easy to work with. Pre-wedding, he communicated with us and made sure we were on the same page with the types of photos we wanted. The day of the wedding he captured everything perfectly for our micro wedding.
The pictures during sunset turned out stunning and he was able to capture our wedding day to also include our son. We could not have found a better photographer. We hired Paul Chi to do our wedding photos for our destination wedding based on his portfolios. We immediately loved his style and his prices were within budget. Paul was friendly and helped keep our timeline going throughout the day. We were a laid back couple that didn't want to waste our day doing pictures, so he made sure to capture candid photos throughout the day! He edited all our photos and sent them to us within a month and now we're just waiting for our video, but if our pictures are any hint to how our video will turn out, I know we'll be in love!

Pictures worth a million words
If you're looking for an incredible photographer, look no further! We live in Wisconsin and knew we wanted to get married in Anna Maria Island. We flew down in March to tour venues and wanted to get our engagement pictures taken on the beach. That is when we found Paul. We took our engagement pictures during what felt like the windiest day of the year. He managed to capture so many amazing photos of us. After seeing those photos there was no doubt we were going to secure him for our wedding. Fast forward 7 months later...the week of our wedding hurricane Eta was headed for the island. Being from the Midwest, we have no experience with hurricanes and it was very unsettling. We spoke with Paul a couple of days before the wedding and he was so calm and collected. He said we'd stay in touch and make adjustments as necessary. We appreciated that so much. Our wedding day went off as planned and he captured every moment so beautifully. Each time we look at our photos (which is often), it feels like we're right back in those unforgettable moments. Five stars all around!

Great photographer
We got married on the beach where it was very windy but the pictures came out good. We were impressed with Paul's editing work as well as his feedbacks on how we should pose. He took a lot of candid shots which came out good and captured our personalities. Highly Recommend him.

Attentive Photographer
Paul was so easy to work with and accommodating to some pictures we wanted to take. We met with him prior to the wedding and he took care of the rest. He was punctual and quick so that we were able to enjoy the wedding and get back to our guests. The best, most flexible, kindest photographer ever!
Let me tell you about Paul with Chi Photography!
He was the very first vendor I picked out, before I even had a location for the ceremony or reception! I initially planned my whole wedding in with two weeks’ notice- Paul was totally cool with it and ready to go. When I had to move the wedding because of COVID (the beaches were literally shut down the weekend we planned to get hitched) he was completely understanding. Each time I called him, he was polite, professional, and helpful.
The day of the wedding, Paul was early. I was so excited to meet him!! He was completely unobtrusive and so nice!! I’ve seen photographers get antsy if they didn’t feel like the “timeline” was on schedule for them. Paul was nothing like that. He actually managed to get me to the ceremony on time, taking us on a shortcut when the traffic light was out!!
All that is great, but of course what everyone really wants it great photography, right?!?
My pictures were absolutely gorgeous. Paul let us play and be ourselves and it worked out beautifully. Somehow, together the pictures really tell the story of the day, from getting ready to the last kiss. He even managed to capture the dolphins at the ceremony and the drunk lady who interjected to tell us how beautiful our ceremony was. I would hire Paul again in a heartbeat. We plan for many future trips to our ceremony location (Anna Maria Island) and hopefully someday we will have some babies he can photograph in the future! Thank you so much for capturing the best day of our lives. We will cherish the photos forever. Attached are a few of my favorites, though of course they basically are all my favorites!!

We hired Paul for our April beach wedding.Our wedding was canceled due to the Corona virus and since we had already paid the deposit, he offered us a family shooting at the beach (or a refund). We decided to still have some photos taken, and I am so happy we did because they turned out absolutely perfect. Paul was super professional and helpful throughout the entire process. He was very patient and flexible and I would definitely recommend hiring him for your special day and/or a family shooting.

Paul was very professional and his pics definitely show that. We never noticed where he was and yet he was able to take amazing pics, I will definitely recommend him to any friends or family to make their special day extra special. On a side note, our wedding was done throughout Coronavirus restrictions in which we were able to get special approval from the Mayor to have our wedding and Paul could have canceled his services as a precaution but he went above and beyond to make our wishes come true.

Paul was phenomenal! I booked my wedding from a distance so I was unsure about the vendors I would wind up with. From the first contact, he was extremely responsive, very professional and super easy to work with! The day of the wedding he showed up early, caught all the best shots, and made us totally comfortable the whole time. We even got some amazing long exposure pictures on the beach that night with sparklers! All of his pictures came out amazing and we had access to them quicker than I thought! While we did not have a wedding to photograph, I can comment on Paul as an awesome photographer for all sorts of events. My daughter is notoriously picky - for her senior photos she studied the pages of numerous photographers and loved the creativity of Paul's work - she got all that she hoped for and more with a simply amazing set of senior photos that are uniquely hers in which her personality just shines through. With so many awesome choices her biggest issue is figuring out which to include in her senior ad! Plus Paul graciously took some family photos for us as well - and they are also just fabulous!

Chi Photography did a great job with my son's senior portraits. Paul's laid back style put my son at ease and helped to capture his personality. We have been very pleased with his professionalism, flexibility and quality of work, and definitely recommend him for portraits or events!

Excellent photography
We really enjoyed working with Paul!! We had amazing beach wedding pictures and he also captured great sunset pictures! Authentic, moment capturing pictures
Great to work with Paul. Super easy going and flexible prior the wedding and on the day off. Good mix of staged couple images and in-the-moment images. Super fast turnaround time for the images. We love them.

Best Wedding Photographer!
Paul saved our wedding day!!! Our photographer was unable to make his flight and Paul stepped in at the last minute and took absolutely gorgeous photos! He was so nice and easy to work with, not to mention he made everything feel so natural. He was always snapping pictures and was all over! I’m over the moon with our photos and I recommend him to everyone!
