Donnell did such an amazing job DJing our wedding! He brought everything needed and set up quickly. He responds quickly and is very considerate about the music you want played and blends it all really well. He reads the crowed perfectly and adjusts the music accordingly. Hes very laid back and he doesnt add any stress to the bride and groom. He knows exactly what to do with very little needed from you. He was such a pleasure to work with and we will be recommending him to everyone. -

One of the things I have heard about weddings are that DJs can make or break your wedding. This, in our experience, is very true. We knew our DJ would play a pivotal role in our memories of the day, and Donnell couldn't have been any better to fit that role. Donnell took so much care and gave so much attention to detail leading up to and during our wedding to tailor everything on our day to our tastes and make sure that our day went as smoothly as possible. Nothing ever goes 100% right on your wedding day- it is so important to have people around you that can assess, react, and adapt to challenges on one of the most stressful and emotional days of your life. Donnell faced challenges at our wedding (through absolutely no fault of his own), and he quickly took charge to ensure that everything was fixed without stressing us out. What was important to us was that we had a DJ that could fill in the blanks for us when we had decision fatigue and that we had a DJ that could read the dance floor and keeps things going all night. He made a custom dance mashup for us that was so special and a HUGE hit at our wedding. I'm sure the mashup required a ton of work but Donnell never shied away from the challenge or made us feel like we were asking for too much. When we changed our minds about details, he was flexible and encouraging. He was always quick and detailed with his responses and answered all of our questions. We are so appreciative of him and would definitely recommend!! -

We thoroughly enjoyed having Donnell be our wedding DJ. We had an initial phone call where he answered questions we had. He also sent us a spreadsheet with questions about timeline, must play list, do not play, genres perferred etc. We paid $500 for 4 hours of reception DJ music. We were very happy with the results. -

Donnell was a fantastic DJ. Super responsive and was a professional. He did an amazing job using our favorite songs to create a memorable night of dancing. Would recommend to anyone looking to do a wedding in or around Leesburg! -

Having never hired a DJ before, we were pretty stinking unsure how to go about hiring *the* DJ for our wedding. We both love to sing and dance so having good music was essential to our dream wedding.
From the very first meeting we had w/ Donnell he was calm, put together, and full of answers. As we started to learn more about what we needed through the venue, he was quick to act and keep us in the loop.
He set us up with examples of timelines to make sure he was set up for success, and our guests danced ALL NIGHT - check out the pics attached. -

If you're looking for a DJ in the Northern Virginia area, go with Donnell!! He was the DJ for our wedding last September and I've been to three other weddings he has done and I couldn't recommend him enough! He was super communicative and provided a lot of guidance leading up to the wedding which helped us establish a timeline the wedding weekend as a whole, not just the ceremony and reception. All of our guests had such a blast during the entire reception - it was perfect! Donnell played all the songs we requested and knew how to keep the dance floor packed, and so much of the credit for the success of our wedding goes to him!
