We moved our wedding up because of the uncertainty of everything shutting down again with COVID. We planned everything in about 2 months. Everything went absolutely perfect! It honestly felt like a dream and we could not have done it without Melissa. We’ve been married a month now and still can’t believe how wonderful our day was. With everything going on COVID related, Melissa took care of everything for us and did an absolutely amazing job! Thank you so very much for everything!
That background wasn’t too bad either. ;) -

Cheyenne Mountain Resort did a fantastic job coordinating our wedding needs and vision. Their staff was detail orientated and super welcoming to not only to us but also all our family and guests. They kept us updated on all weather concerns and were always prepared with back up plans. -

Perfect Wedding Perfect Venue
Cheyenne Mountain completely exceeded my expectations! As a bride from Arkansas I researched places up and down in Colorado to have my wedding at and when I came across Cheyenne Mountain something just spoke to me. Me personally I didnt set a budget I just said whatever I love i’ll make it work! And honestly for the price we paid we got everything and more! The staff was so accommodating and super attentive. Planning my wedding with them from Arkansas was a breeze, emails were answered promptly, questions answered in detail, and phone calls and zoom calls set up when things needed to be gone over in more detail. I would recommend getting married here to anyone I know looking for a great venue, with a good price for what you get, and I mean the views speak for themselves! -

Our experience with Cheyenne Mountain Resort was nothing short of wonderful. We chose this property for our wedding weekend as it fulfilled all our needs, from budget, aesthetic, service capability, size, and excellent hospitality.
Haley was our event specialist, and did a great job of answering all of our questions in a timely and professional manner, ensuring perfect execution of our events day of. Alexia, our room block specialist did an amazing job of securing the rooms we needed at a rate that worked great for us an dour guests, and ensuring all of our guests specialty stay needs were met. Our Banquets Captain, Lana, was excellent, and possibly the kindest person ever. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed at each of our events. Our guests were taken care of in a timely and professional manner, with the upmost friendly demeanor.
Harrison, the General Manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with. He kept the perfect balance of playfulness with professionalism, and never hesitated to "get his hands dirty" (so to speak), when needed - truly leading by example for his staff. -

The Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a great location for a picturesque background which really makes great photos. The venue has plenty of parking and accommodated us and our guests really well. The food and drinks are amazing which was a big factor for us. The staff were all so helpful and organized. They know how to make a wedding run pretty smoothly! -

We absolutely loved our wedding!! Our experience with Cheyenne Mountain Resort was wonderful from start to finish. They are incredibly responsive and worked through pricing for several different scenarios for us so we had a solid idea of how the pricing would look. Their team made everything so effortless. The main question I was asked over the months leading up to the wedding was how stressed and hard the wedding planning process was and I honestly felt like I was doing something wrong because my answer was always actually it’s been great and I’m not really stressed at all. This was all thanks to the process and team Cheyenne Mountain has, they have a planning company they hire and makes the entire process seamless. The price includes the cake and catering. The only things we booked outside of Cheyenne were the DJ, photographer, and rental flowers (something borrowed blooms - also highly recommend). The decorating and clean up was all coordinated through them which alleviated all the stress from myself and my family and we were able to focus on having the best day celebrating.
In summary, I could go on and on about all the details they took care of that summated in the most perfect and best day of our lives but I think I’ll run out of space. Highly recommend!! -

Cheyenne Mountain Resort was the perfect location for our wedding. The mountain views and lakefront setting were simply stunning. With multiple pools, a spa, and great dining options, there was plenty for our guests to enjoy throughout the weekend.
The resort's wedding planning team was fantastic. They were organized, responsive, and made the entire process stress-free. They handled all the details professionally and helped bring our vision to life.
Having everything in one place, from the ceremony to the reception and accommodations, was incredibly convenient. Our guests loved the comfortable rooms and the delicious food.
We highly recommend Cheyenne Mountain Resort to couples seeking a beautiful and convenient wedding venue with a dedicated team to support them every step of the way. -

For a bride who was on a budget I found Cheyenne Mountain to be the best value for my money—with it having ceremony and reception sites, AV equipment, tables and linens and even partners with a local bakery to provide a cake for us! But besides the value and the beautiful views I am beyond glad I chose Cheyenne Mountain because of their amazing staff! The staff went above and beyond to make the day perfect for us! From Laurel who gave us our initial tour and sold us on their resort to Sable who was amazing before and during the wedding. Leading up to the big day she answered my many questions and helped us get the most for our money when we ended up having less guests then planned. The day of she was there to assist with little hiccups that arose (including physically helping me change my shoes!) to make sure the day was perfect, even though the weather seemed to hold onto the rain until the start of our ceremony ;)
At the reception the groom and I had several guests tell us that the food we chose was better than many of the weddings they’ve been at and the scenic view was beyond amazing!
We have zero regrets choosing Cheyenne Mountain Lodge for our wedding venue and I highly recommend them!

We don't know where to begin! Sable and Haley went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend a dream come true. They were so thoughtful and did everything they could to make us feel so celebrated and loved. The venue and staff were so professional and were always ready to step in and take charge! Sable and Haley remembered every little detail and blew our expectations. We love Cheyenne Mountain and feel so blessed to have had our wedding there! We can't wait to come back and visit on our wedding anniversaries to celebrate the most incredible weekend of our lives! Thank you, Cheyenne Mountain! -

Our wedding at Cheyenne Mountain Colorado Springs, A Dolce Resort, was truly exceptional. Every detail of our special day was meticulously planned and executed, & breathtaking!
The team at the resort went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued. Sable, our main contact and coordinator, was everywhere at the perfect time and SO organized. I was so upset due to a change in weather and she did amazing at finding an alternatives and making it all go smoothly. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of our event, their dedication and professionalism shone through. They were attentive to our needs and quick to address any concerns that arose, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
Our wedding at Cheyenne Mountain Colorado Springs, A Dolce Resort, was a dream come true. The venue, the service, and the overall atmosphere created the perfect setting for our special day. I am still dreaming about the scallops we had served at the wedding. All of the guests were in AWE of the food. We are grateful to the team for their hard work and dedication in ensuring that our wedding was nothing short of magical. They truly take care of so much and set the bride and groom up for a perfect day. I cannot recommend this venue enough. -

The whole team at Cheyenne.. wow. I was worried planning a wedding from overseas, but I showed up a week before and Sable from Cheyenne and Abigail from the Planning company couldn’t have made it easier. They helped with so many things.. from layouts to diet restrictions, from decoration requests to guiding guests, and facilitating everyone with such ease and grace. Magical, highest recommendation- thank you all for everything I’m still dreaming about it!!! -

We can't thank them enough for everything they did for us. If we needed or wanted anything they were there to get it done. Our reception was beautiful and even when one of our bouquets wasn't done right they were right there correcting it (even though the flowers were from a different vendor). The food was delicious and our guests all had a fabulous time! We can't say enough good things about Cheyenne Mountain Resort. -

Nate Sent on 07/30/2010The resort was the perfect location to host my daughters 350+ platinum wedding. Melodie Owens, with the CMR was our event planner assigned to our day. Melodie went over and beyond at every request to make Melissa's day one to always remember. She was easy to work with, always available, and really, never said, not one time, "No".
I had a MUCH more difficult time with reservations and the guest rooms situation (which I must add is not Melodies department) but, I cannot give enough accolades and kudos to Melodie for a job well done! Thanks for everything! -

We had a lovely wedding weekend at Cheyenne earlier this year! The entire team was super supportive and attentive to our guests, our events and traditions. All of our guests were promptly checked into their rooms, especially important with how everyone has flown in for our wedding. For our wedding, the Cheyenne team was excellent ensuring that everything went as we discussed and timely. The gorgeous scenery and outdoor mountain backdrop was a cherry on top! -

Cheyenne Mountain Resort was the perfect venue we were looking for. The outdoor venue with the mountain background was exactly what we wanted. Then who thought you could add a lake and a beach to an already amazing location...especially in Colorado Springs. If you're looking for a great venue, we recommend visiting Chryenne Mountain Resort. -

Beautiful location, but many events
Pros: Absolutely beautiful location. The resort rooms were all recently renovated, so they look nice for guests. The bridal suite was stellar, with tons of space to get ready including an outdoor "yard" where we ended up taking many photos. Food for our wedding was DELICIOUS, and many guests commented on the great food as well as the great service. The catering staff were friendly, helpful and professional! And again, the food was great. There was a bus reserved for us, to take us down to the golf course for photos after the ceremony.
Cons: It's a conference resort. Unless your event is outside the wedding season pf April-October, you will not be the only wedding or big event happening that month. You may not even be the only wedding happening that day... We didn't have any problems in this regard, we worked with Bobbie and she was attentive and professional. She was also hands-on, very responsive on our wedding day. However, I know communication is not always the most responsive because of the number of other events that may be happening at any one time. If you are able to stay on top of things or have a coordinator taking care of details on the day-of (we used Ariana at Forever Yours Weddings with amazing results), I think the Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a lovely wedding location!
Note: I also know they have changed event coordinators since mid-2019, so negative reviews from prior to May 2019 may no longer apply.
