I bought my tux from The Black Tux, and it fit pretty well, but not perfectly. Stephen did a phenomenal job tailoring my tux and dress shirt so that it was an absolute perfect fit. I've rarely had anything tailored before, so it was a new experience, but it was worth every penny. I felt like a million bucks on my wedding day. Thank you! -

Bello Sent on 12/31/2017Astonishing work! I have had a previous bridesmaid dress completed here before and knew that when my wedding was coming up i know where to go. I had found an amazing dress though it didn't fit i had shown it to the seamstress and she said she could make it fit. She was very accommodating with her schedule and absolutely worth every penny. You cannot find work as amazing as theirs in the twin cities. She had added 2 - 3 inch panels into the dress as well as a panel corset to make it fit. I was in love with the design and she made it work. The bustling of the dress also made it perfectly flush. Enjoyed working with her team and how original the work was performed. Thank you!

Miranda Sent on 12/31/2017From the moment I made my initial contact with Helen and her team they were very courteous and kind. I had initially purchased my dress in June and had lost more weight than I expected. I had a lace bottom and rhinestone filled took for my dress. The elegance of it definitely was from how figure fitting it's supposed to be. I made an appointment with her to take in the sides on my dress as well as a minor hem and add in a busy cup. Choosing a tailor I expected to be a tough decision but Cheungs Tailor has been around in the same location or 27 years and perform 20+ dresses a day. I definitely would recommend her to anyone. She was prompt, kind, knowledgeable and none the less highly skilled to make my dress fit the way it should.

User2740003 Sent on 08/24/2016I cannot even describe the incredible work these guys helped perform, the tailoring was unbelievable. My wedding was this past weekend on Saturday and I was already hysterical, my dress got shipped last minute and arrived a week before and it was way too tight around the bust area when I had finally got a chance to try it on. Two days before my rehearsal I called three different tailors around me and everyone had already closed. Luckily, they were still working and answered my call. They're always working late! Crying on the phone I don't think the gentleman was really able to understand my needs and how important this dress and night was, I thought I needed to just head to David's Bridal and buy a new one quickly. He said they couldn't make any promises right away without looking at it but asked for me to bring the dress in and try it on. This was already 6pm on a Thursday night, way past their closing. I came in a gal fitted me and offered different suggestions. They were able to remove a little bit from my dress and create this gorgeous 'V' panel in the back with lace weaved around to tighten it and removed the existing zipper. I truly wish I could show a before and after photo, I felt so comfortable in my dress and with the altered back no one noticed. It was phenomenal work. They've been the best tailor I've found so far and the turn around for barely one day still had me panicking. They are now my go to for all tailoring services. Not your average shop you'd find, the quality was amazing! They're so genuine too thank you so much I give them a 10/10!!!!!!

User2536420 Sent on 02/17/2016I adore this shop. I brought in my wedding dress to have a few things done. Hemmed the bottom, added bust cups, take in the top and also bustles for my long train. Originally ordered online, I ran into the difficult problem of now finding someone to alter it for my wedding. I had originally found Cheung's through a friend who also had her wedding gown sewn there a year ago. They were very helpful from the start, I told them I was a newly referred customer and this was my first time having a dress tailored. They walked me through a portfolio of hundreds of other girls who have had their dresses done. Before moving forward I just wanted to be comfortable and at the tailor shop I felt they really knew what I needed. I would recommend this vendor based highly on those points above. Not being too busty I was really afraid to wear a bra on my strapless dress and they were great with their consultation. I could tell they truly cared. Wedding day came and it fit like a glove. I did spend more than I had anticipated but I wouldn't have had it any other way it was worth it. I'd suggest others to look at a vendors portfolio or call to see if they had one. Cheung's is at the top in this industry I would say. I'd be back for my bridesmaid dress soon in April!
