Flexible and Helpful during the big day!
Worked with Chesapeake Charter for our wedding day that required guests to get on Naval Academy grounds for our reception. Worked with Jake to plan everything and he was extremely helpful and responsive until the day of to get the right amount of buses needed. Everyone got to the ceremony and reception on time and safely thanks to our drivers, especially Mike!!!!
These professionals navigated downtown Annapolis in coach buses like no other. Thanks for the help, y'all!Worked with Chesapeake Charter for our wedding day that required guests to get on Naval Academy grounds for our reception. The service from beginning to end was amazing. My wife and I just got married all the way out in Salisbury MD. 9-19-2020 and they went above and beyond in helping us make sure everyone we love made it to and from the wedding safely. From working with Shelley, a saint, to the services day of were nothing but professional and excellent. I being the husband and in charge of setting this part up you can imagine I wasn’t doing my part very well. Chesapeake and Shelley however picked up the slack and really saved the day for us. They were punctual and didn’t miss a beat. My sister in law used them as well and was the main...The service from beginning to end was amazing. We found Chesapeake Charter through our venue's preferred vendors list. We rented a school bus to take our guests to/from the hotel to our venue. They were were very responsive with emails and helpful with any questions we had. They were very prompt and on time the day of. Jake with Chesapeake Charters was great to work with! We rented two motor coaches to get guests from hotels to the venue and back. Everything went flawlessly with the transportation. They arrived on time to everything according to the itinerary we sent them. Jake also gave us his number to call in case something awry happened or someone didn't show up. But we didn't even need it- the drivers were right on time and were very nice and professional. We initially only booked one bus but at only about a month out we realized we needed another one and were worried that it would be too late to get an additional one. But it was no problem- Jake had one ready to go for us without any issues. A wonderful company that I would highly recommend!Jake with Chesapeake Charters was great to work with! Chesapeake Charters literally saved our wedding day! We had booked a bus with another company (Charter Bus R Us) and they never sent out the buses we paid for and ruined a good hour of our big day. (read the review I wrote on them for full, horrible details).....Needless to say. I was originally going to go with Chesapeake until we found a better price with Charter Bus R Us and it was a horrible mistake that we did not stick with Chesapeake in the first place.
After our bus never showed, we had 30 minutes until a bus was supposed to show up at the hotel where our guests were staying and pick them up to take them...Chesapeake Charters literally saved our wedding day! We contacted Chesapeake at 5pm and they showed up by 5:30, 30 minutes after we called to book and 15 minutes early to pick up our guests. I cannot believe they had a bus open and such a wonderful driver. Talk about responsiveness and flexible. If I could give them 10 out of 5 I would. I highly recommend this company to anyone. Never have I experienced such great costumer service and was completely satisfied with their help. They did ask what company ruined everything in the beginning and we did not hesitate to give them their name. After telling them the company they actually said that doesn't surprise them.
So thank you to all the people at Chesapeake Charters....you really did save the day! -

We used Chesapeake Charter to take our guests from downtown Annapolis across the Bay Bridge for our wedding at CBBC. They were fantastic! Our wedding was on a Friday in June (can you say beach traffic) and they were fabulous! With many guests being from out of town, we were worried they wouldn't understand the additional time a trip like this may take. Chesapeake Charter was great in that THEY determine what time the bus will pick up guests (we had it stop at two hotels) and then head over. The stress was totally off of us and we didn't have to wait for half our guests to start the ceremony who would have otherwise been stuck in traffic....We used Chesapeake Charter to take our guests from downtown Annapolis across the Bay Bridge for our wedding at CBBC. Chesapeake Charter gave us a discount on our 3rd bus which was very nice of them and the service was on-time and professional. Our guests were very pleased with how friendly the bus driver was and they were all very punctual. Rather, they used common sense and courtesy to know the bus was not filled and decided to wait until everyone else came outside to board the bus.
We didn't shop around for a better quote because we felt the price was fair and judging by a previous review, we are glad we did not. Cheaper is not always better. I dealt exclusively with Sarah and her service was friendly, prompt and professional. I would absolutely recommend Chesapeake Charter for anyone needing transportation for their wedding.
